Café Litoral

Let's be honest, this is a café just off a busy road aimed at regulars (not necessarily locals). There are no menus; everything is on a board inside, though most of the seating is outside. The specialities are coffee - only served in a glass - and jamón iberico. Popular for breakfast, with a wide variety of rolls, buns, eggs, salads and most with options to include the famous jamón. Service is brusque (think French bistro), but everyone is welcome. 5 stars for authenticity alone. Please try of you're on the area.

They open before 9:00 (at least on Saturdays) we were there after a sunrise walk. They served baguettes rather than a sweet breakfast. The croissant with jam was served in pieces: Croissant, butter, jam. We were the only non-Spanish people and the outside area was almost full, which is also a good sign when the locals are present in large numbers. The service was nice and friendly.

Great place for breakfast and one of very few that are not a ridiculous price for coffee and a bread roll.

A nice little place for tapas with a friend. Very tasty tapas at 2 euros each. Nice selection. Pleasant staff. It’s noisy inside with clattering saucers and coffee machine so I prefer to eat outside on their terrace. Loads of free parking right outside.
