Love this place! Not sure if it’s all the time, but v much loved the music being French indie/pop! Stromae, Angèle, good coffee, and nice vibes. Also really liked the books and games available! Was here on the wifi for a bit.

The gentleman that serviced us was very nice. I told him I was allergic to gluten and he was able to recommend the avocado toast. That's what I really wanted, but I didn't think they had gotten free bread. They did! 🤭🥹 This is a cute little place with a vibe. I highly recommend it. They have a bathroom for customers. OMG they even have a doggy treat and water for our four legged friends. 🐕

Came in for a coffee, ended up getting a cold brew and a ham and cheese croissant. Did not disappoint. The cold brew was flavorful and just how I like it: black. You could taste the accents of the beans and it hit. Now I waited shortly for the ham and cheese croissant, which came in a compostable cardboard to go box. I opened it and was blown away by the amount of perfectly crisp cheese evenly distributed on both sides. Yes that’s right, perfectly crisp, and warmed toasted croissant evenly sliced to allow for thick cut overhanging ham neatly covered evenly. The sandwich was honestly the best ham and cheese croissant I’ve had on the west side. What a hidden gem.

This is my local coffee shop that I walk to every day. I love it. Great deals, good quality coffee and food. Service is very friendly and accommodating. Small boutique shop with only 1 or 2 workers so sometimes it can get a little too busy for them but they handle it well. Definitely recommend!

We had a nice brunch here. Great meals and service. Sitting outside in the sun was perfect.

Nice clean affordable coffee shop- the maple oat latte was excellent! And the pastries are so so fresh. A place you can sit and read or work for a bit.

STOP AND EAT HERE DAILY IF YOU ORDER OUT DAILY FOR HEALTHY FOOD! Period. Clean healthy well made friendly peeps cute space outdoor seating for pooches….when I first got to local Airbnb i was walking my pooch and found myself wanting to order EACH meal …. Seriously…..that great simple easy clean yummy food! I cook this way….use the basics and make them all shine with great ingredients and a smile. Thanks…we are moving but will stop by when in town :))))

I had a turkey avocado sandwich. It was toasted perfectly. Meat was fresh and avocados were outstanding. I highly recommend stopping here all of their baked goods with really yummy.

Just stopped by for a latte and bagel. I missed the breakfast special. Dang. Good coffee and fast casual service.

Couldn't be closer to me...plus. Great choices with very fresh food and very friendly team. At times it seems like they get a little overwhelmed but they're always willing to try and meet a special request. Limited seating outside but great to sit out if the weather is nice, despite the passing traffic. Menu is a bit small but it's a petite little place, so all good.

Do not go here won't make food in advance, didn't make my food when I came in, was using ClassPass and I came in before they closed but refused to make my food. Don't blame the worker I blame the poor management. Do not go here, hope they close down like all the other shops on this street.

Super cute spot with excellent bread and sandwiches! This cafe is super charming and has great sandwiches. I got the breakfast sandwich, which was made with challah bread. So delicious and the bread was so tasty! I also really loved the salad that came with the sandwich - a really nice bonus! On the day I went, there was live music and it made it such lovely lunch!

Cute coffee shop with friendly staff. Coffee was pretty good. They had free fruit leathers, which is a plus for me!

Got a Iced Vanilla Latte and it was very good. Service was quick around lunch time and the ambiance was cute. Outside seating would have been nice if we came for food or had a book/work.

My colleagues and I love Cafe Lovi! We come here weekly and always get the best service from Dylan. He's so helpful and accommodating. We love spending our lunches at cafe Lovi. The owner is lovely too!

Meh. This was a let down after seeing all of the positive reviews and pics. Mustard, lettuce, tomato and a little bit of pastrami. Ralph's grocery store could've made a better sandwich. I even tipped when I ordered it online.

Wanted to try out this cafe in the area. We came here and got the sandwiches. The bread is so good. It's pricey for what it is. I got the turkey avocado and my husband got the pastrami and both were really good. We got my son the avocado toast and that was good too. Skip the iced coffee isn't wasn't too great. But good place if you're in the area and want a bite to eat. Some seating inside and outside. Staff was friendly.

I came to Cafe Lovi to pick up lunch on 4/8 and ordered a portobello avocado sandwich. I had ordered online and I got there a bit early so I had no problem waiting for the order to be completed. When the order came out, I didn't bother to check the items because I assumed everything was right, but when I got back to my office, the order was wrong. I went to cafe lovi and second time and asked them to remake the order so they told me to sit and wait a bit. Little did I know, they wouldn't start my order again until they had completed all the "for here" orders so I ended up waiting another 15 minutes before I decided it was taking too long and decided to just leave. I asked for a refund, which the kind worker told me he would take care of. He also offered me a free cup of coffee which was a nice gesture. What was weird though was that his excuse for getting the order wrong was that the item I ordered is usually never ordered so he ended up making me a portobello goat cheese crepe instead? But at the end of it, I had gone back and forth to this cafe twice and ended up with no food after 55 minutes. What a way to spend my lunch break. And as of today (4/24) I have still not received my refund even though I had spoken to the owner two weeks ago over the phone. He mentioned he'll call me within the next couple of days, which he did not.. Cafe Lovi seems like a nice little spot to grab a drink or a quick bite but sorry, the service I received was quite bad.

Couldn't bother to put my order in. I showed up and sorry we are sold out. So frustrating. Never going there again.

Swung by for a quick lunch and ordered the Turkey and Avocado sandwich on their infamous challah bread. Absolutely delicious - the bread melts in your mouth and is grilled to perfection and my sandwich was stuffed with Turkey. They also offer a side salad with the sandwiches. One of the workers there was a fine-dining chef and offered me his hot sauce to try with the sandwich which was so good. Definitely recommend trying it out if you come here!

Challah bread sandwiches! I came here looking to get some work done over coffee and after finding street parking (metered) across the street, I strolled all in. I ended up getting just a drip coffee and an egg salad sandwich. Coffee was clean and not overly roasted. Felt like a light roast which is my preference. The sandwich though. The sandwich was amazing. The egg salad was a good mix of mayo and other tangy flavors. The bread was so solid. It lifted up the sandwich. Also came with a little dressed salad to add a bit of freshness. An enjoyable meal with some friend baristas who also brought out the food to my table outside. Would recommend and will be back!

My mom and I tried this cafe for the first time and it did not disappoint. We ordered a grilled cheese, egg salad sandwich and two drinks. Both drinks were great, but the sandwiches were phenomenal with great challah bread. Loved how clean and nice everything was, even the outside seating area. Everyone was so friendly and attentive! Amazingly positive environment and will definitely come back again!

Such great hospitality and delicious food made with care and love. I had the breakfast sandwich with hash browns and eggs sunny side up (served all day). Came with a fabulous side salad drizzled with a lemon vinaigrette. Heaven. My vanilla latte was also on point. I will definitely be back. Support this small business!

Gf and I did a morning walk and stumbled across this place. Cute cafe, clean interior, somewhat pricey. We very much enjoyed our iced coffees! Their breakfast sandwiches were okay for $13. Need to come back to try their sandwiches at lunch!

The owner placed an excess of too good to go bags in the app. I went all the way over to the store after putting in the pickup. They had ample time to cancel once they knew they had nothing to give but Instead of cancelling when they knew they were out of stuff they waited until I had traveled all the way there to cancel my order. They should be more on top of it or not offer the bags.

Came for the pastries (cinnamon + raisin challah roll was just as delicious as I'd hoped it would be) but left with a serotonin boost and tasty latte. The staff here is incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. They are honest and helpful and the service is quite fast. It seems like whenever possible, they're sure to chat with customers who are into it, and that friendliness goes a long way for me. Clean, bright space. It's small, but doesn't feel too crowded. Plenty of street parking and bike lanes for whichever mode of transportation you prefer. Lastly, the prices are very reasonable. Small town pricing but big city quality (imo).

Came for a meeting - ordered the Matcha Latte and Breakfast Sandwich. Didn't have unsweetened matcha at the time which they, unnecessarily, apologized several times. Got the sweetened version and was very good quality of matcha. The sandwich challah was fresh and made the overall item taste great. Parking was easy too with some free street nearby and lots of meters.

It was my first time visiting the place. I wanted to like it and give them a good review, but ... the coffee was watery and wasn't taste right for me. Matcha Latte was extremely sweet, we haven't asked for sugar free, but it was way too sweet anyway. The place was empty and quite , service was good. The menu looked pretty good, but we haven't had any food there.

Fresh, amazing, perfect!! It's not only ascetically pleasing but it's toasted and made so well. Nice quiet cafe to get work done or just spend some downtime in this busy city!

Probably the most disgusting protein shake I've ever bought. Also it's $6 bc it's in an actual kids cup. You would need to get 3 of them to get a full serving. And the guy taking my order was rude/customer service wasn't good. I'm sharing my review bc I felt mislead by other's reviews and came here bc it had great reviews just to be absolutely disappointed.

The best sandwiches on Broadway! I walk all the way from15th st to Cafe Lovi instead of going to that other place because the food is so good and the people are super nice.

So happy about this cute new cafe on the west side serving up some seriously tasty sandwiches. The challah bread is to die for. My only issue was trying to decide which sandwich to try first! I ended up going for the tuna salad sandwich, which comes with a side salad. I inhaled the first half. So good. I also tried some hazelnut cookie bites from the pastry display. Also good. The reasonable prices are such a breath of fresh air for LA. I'm definitely coming back to try every sandwich on the menu.

They have amazing ice chai tea. The best I've had in LA so far. Also they make their own challah bread.

Food is really good. I always get the pastrami as well as a salad. I suggest both. Service is really good and the workers make you feel welcome.the Ambiance is really peaceful I truly like the location of the establishment.

The bread used for the breakfast sandwich was delicious. My friend had the turkey avocado sandwich and was very happy with her selection. Each of us intended to eat only half of sandwich but they were so good we devoured the entire sandwich.

Very friendly service, immediately greeted with a warm welcome in. The place was quaint and mostly white which kept it feeling open. It was quiet and soothing and there's a lot of personalized decor, so it feels like you're sort in someone's home - which I dug. Didn't try the food but got the matcha and it was great - not powdery and not too milky or thin, just the right amount of sweetness. Will go back and try one of their sandwiches. Also the owner was so sweet when asking me to leave, she gave me an extra croissant as she politely said they were closing up for the day. Overall a solid experience.

I took my mom and aunt here to try their sandwiches. It did not disappoint! We had the pastrami challah sandwich and the avo egg sandwich. Ofc the star is the challah bread, which everyone liked! Will come back to try the other sandwiches!

Order a fruit smoothie, it was extremely warm and for some reason tasted like guava all though it contained no guava weird probably the temp altered the taste. The 3 stars were for the staff they seemed like great people but that was the warmest smoothie I've ever had. Probably wouldn't try this place again but hopefully they read this and change that... it was an online order also so maybe they let it sit before actually notifying me it was ready, I was working next door a one minute walk for me nothing cools that rapidly.

Great experience @ Cafe Lovi, better than expected! First time here, was searching coffee shops in Santa Monica area, came here for the ratings. This cute and delicious place did not disappoint! Ordered avocado n egg toast and oat latte. Toast comes with a delicious and refreshing salad ! Egg cooked perfectly and toast is delicious. I truly recommend this coffee shop for a quick breakfast and coffee. They also sell authentic Italian pastas and pizza dough and other items. I bought an Italian balsamic vinegar the owner brought straight from Italy from her last vacation.

What a wonderful place to have ...I just had a tasty smoothie ...and a very delicious salmon and cream cheese sandwich- fresh fabulous and so generous ... a bright young person Topher helped me... he was so interesting and welcoming.. the chips by Miss Vickie are better than any chips I have ever had- bought two bags and ate the crumbs.. have a creative biscotti for coffee tomorrow .. I will be back and often -plan to eat my way through the entire menu and visit Topher again... check it out

Menu looks good but I ordered the pastrami sandwich and the pastrami itself was ice cold. Took a few bites of one half and threw it all out. I see the other reviews speak of the employee who's grumpy and I can confirm he's not welcoming at all. Has a bit of an attitude and does not seem pleased to work there. Basically tossed my sandwich on the counter without saying anything or even making eye contact. Wouldn't return. Also not a fan of how the owner replies to negative reviews. Very off putting.
