I came to Cafe Lovi to pick up lunch on 4/8 and ordered a portobello avocado sandwich. I had ordered online and I got there a bit early so I had no problem waiting for the order to be completed. When the order came out, I didn't bother to check the items because I assumed everything was right, but when I got back to my office, the order was wrong.
I went to cafe lovi and second time and asked them to remake the order so they told me to sit and wait a bit. Little did I know, they wouldn't start my order again until they had completed all the "for here" orders so I ended up waiting another 15 minutes before I decided it was taking too long and decided to just leave. I asked for a refund, which the kind worker told me he would take care of. He also offered me a free cup of coffee which was a nice gesture.
What was weird though was that his excuse for getting the order wrong was that the item I ordered is usually never ordered so he ended up making me a portobello goat cheese crepe instead?
But at the end of it, I had gone back and forth to this cafe twice and ended up with no food after 55 minutes. What a way to spend my lunch break. And as of today (4/24) I have still not received my refund even though I had spoken to the owner two weeks ago over the phone. He mentioned he'll call me within the next couple of days, which he did not..
Cafe Lovi seems like a nice little spot to grab a drink or a quick bite but sorry, the service I received was quite bad.
