Google
Their chicken rice bowls are amazing. I'm eating one as I write this review. And for something made fresh in front of you, the price is really reasonable. And there staff are friendly If rice bowls aren't your thing they've got ramen. What looks like a sushi bar and they make Sandwiches too they have coffee (a must in seattle)

Google
Surprisingly delicious breakfast with friendly staff! I had a delicious bf sandwich with a cup of coffee and a hashbrown for nearly 11 bucks. It was pretty hard to beat. The location offered ample seating and minimal chaos on a Friday morning. I can't wait to return.

Google
The food here is amazing. They have everything from coffee, drinks, bakery, sandwiches, and lunch all in one stop. I got spicy pork over purple rice and it is so delicious. The staffs are super friendly and welcoming. This is the gem spot to eat delicious lunch and get some coffee on a busy day.

Google
Got the Korean fried chicken sandwich with fries. The sandwich was really really good, super crunchy with a gold amount of sauce. A bit messy, but tasted great. The service at the counter was very friendly, there was a mixup with my order and it took a bit longer, but they were very nice about it and could see they cared a lot about the mixup. Would have probably given five stars, except the fries were incredibly salty, I couldn’t finish them they were so salty. Would come back again for the sandwich though.

Google
Allways amazing! The chicken sandwich is the thing to get. Keep in mind, they take 15mins. So order ahead or give yourself time. They re all so nice and it shows in the food.

Google
Seriously the food is terrible and at the same time it’s boring to eat. I have to struggle so much with the first few bites and by the third bites I just wanna vomit and throw the food away and the kimchi is so sour and is not fresh. the ingredient are overcooked. Honestly the price is not cheap at all. So make sure to live up to the price u charge. I was so excited to bring my friends here and we were all so disappointed with the food. Seriously

Google
Will not purchase a sandwich here again. I realized that I have been waiting for 20 minutes for my to-go order Supreme Heat sandwich. There was one family in the cafe that was already seated eating their food. 3-4 staff behind the sandwich bar working. Once I realized the staff was hanging around chatting and sort of cleaning up, I decided that I will just stand closer and wait. Soon after they noticed me, they scrambled around and told me they lost my ticket order and would make my sandwich asap. The bigger issue is the sandwich itself. $13+ with a tip to get theeeee most disappointing sandwich... two slices of chicken breast, two small, undercooked bacon pieces. The pictures on the menu, in the cafe and online, absolutely do not reflect the outgoing product. Not worth the wait, or the money.

Google
Friend ordered a deluxe burrito. When we picked it up, the burrito was all greasy and drenched in oil. There wasn’t many people when we were ordering. While the bagel was okay, the burrito was not good at all. Our order also took a while for a bagel sandwich along with a burrito.

Yelp
Andrew is the best! He's so open and welcoming. His energy explodes in a good way to attract people. I would love to live in Seattle just to come here and feel the positive energy. We tried the Korean street toast, recommended here on Yelp! I ordered three one with sausage, one with bacon and one with ham. My husband and I shared. (Obviously took home leftovers it's so filling) My girls had hash browns and fries( not my choice for their last breakfast here) but hey I wanted a pain free meal . So good and must try. Our first visit last week we had the court house sandwich. All choices were amazing. And don't forget to order your hot cocoa! Mahalo cafe Madeline for your excellent service

Yelp
Stop by around 10:45 am for a quick bite. They had switched to their lunch menu at the time. We got a bulgogi kimbap and the sweet and spicy fried chicken. Both dishes were very good. The kimbap was quick, prepared fresh by the server and best option if you need something quick. The KFC took a bit longer because it was fried at the time and came with fries and radish. Id say the flavor was 10/10 but some times there was too much excess breading. There was ample seating if you wanted to sit down but we took everything together.

Yelp
I had a chance to try Cafe Madeline when in the area for a yummy breakfast. I was in town for work and needed a quick bite to eat so I found this place which was close to the hotel. This is a bit of a cafeteria Style spot but service is fast and ambiance is very casual. There are plenty of seats to sit at after you order which is nice. My 4 stars is solely for the food as other aspects were top notch. I ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito which was made absolutely fresh with no skimping out on the fillings. I loved how each bit was full of all the fix-ins. However, my only qualm is I wish the burrito had more flavor. I feel chorizo is rich in flavor and that did not come across in the burrito. Other than that they gave a salsa which was a nice addition. Overall, pretty good experience here!

Yelp
What a great place for breakfast. Ordered the French toast and the classic platter. Both were delicious. The staff was friendly. The bathroom was super clean. The cherry on top, the prices were WAY better than what the hotel wanted to charge. Glad I found this place. Thank you.

Yelp
I am a big yelper so with 5 stars, I def had to go and check this place out. First off, I do want to say, I came here for breakfast, but it seems as if they have an intensive lunch menu, unfortunately I won't be able to try as I am here for a training and lunch is provided. With that being said. I had the 2 eggs (cooked well), bacon (crispy per my request) and the hash brown, to my surprise the hash brown was not frozen, it's the type of hash brown that you would purchase at a grocery store and warm up via oven/air fryer. Their espresso machine was out of order, so a bit bummed. However, their drip coffee wasn't too bad. Was a one person show so lucky it wasn't too busy, so we got our food pretty quickly. Other than that, just your average cafe food.

Yelp
The place was very spacious and incredible servers who were very friendly. I would definitely recommend for a morning break. The food did take a little bit longer which means it's fresh unlike some breakfast places. I really enjoyed the k toast but would've liked a bit more flavor in the eggs. Overall I would come back to try other items on their menu.

Yelp
It's the courthouse cafeteria and, for that, not bad. Since the customers are relatively captive and usually pressed for time, they must strive first for efficiency. You come, you order, you get a box for what you ordered, and out you go. You'll come back if the box contained what you ordered and was eatable. They exceeded that expectation and therefore also attracted some external foot traffic. I would say the breakfast plate was exactly what I expected, taste-wise, and also the Americano. I was hoping for better serving ware and utensils. Like a real plate and metal knife/fork. But they couldn't be bothered to separated dine-in and to-go customers. To be fair, I was the only one sitting down to eat.

Yelp
Got delivery via DoorDash. Ingredients were fresh and good quality, but the "Maddie Melt" did not come grilled, so def wasn't a "melt" (and yes, I did specify hot in my order). The Courthouse Club was exactly as described.

Yelp
Meh - it was ok. The servers didn't seem interested in explaining anything - it was my first time getting this style of food - actually went in for a Ruben. The food is ok, I'd eat there again, now that I know how to order
google avatar

Yelp
This is seriously the best Korean fried chicken in Seattle! The sauces are incredible, the wings are hot and crispy and tender, and all around it is an amazing meal. I could eat this all day
google avatar

Darren B.

Yelp
This is my go to breakfast spot. Super close by the office and the breakfast egg and ham burrito is slapping. Really welcoming customer service as well.
google avatar

Lea S.

Yelp
Yummy, casual lunch spot with friendly, fast service and plenty of indoor seating. You have to try the Korean spicy fried chicken sandwich - it's super juicy with textures of a crunchy coating and cole slaw, with just the right amount of spice, sauce, and buttery bun ratio.

Christine B.

Yelp
This is my go to lunch when I work downtown. They are clean and the food is fresh. Their food is consistently good, and I can rely on the taste and freshly prepared food each time I go. They staff is engaging, and they are a family-owned business. Many of the staff remember my order and make me feel welcomed each time. The variety of food it also great as they offer a breakfast menu, deli sandwich menu, Korean bowl menu AND a Korean Grill menu. Not to mention an on-point chicken sandwich. Price is fair and I typically spend $17.00 or less on my meals and I am full afterward! For reference I am not a little meal human and definitely enjoy good food Shakira style; whenever, wherever.

Yelp
Went here for breakfast during the week. The breakfast burrito was really good, genuinely one of the best I've had. The coffee was great, service was fast and friendly, and best of all it was very reasonably priced. Definitely worth dropping in for a no frills easy meal

Hadyra S.

Yelp
Wow! What a great greeting this fine Monday morning. They greet everyone like they know them. I sat in the lobby and was able to observe it. The breakfast burrito was yummy. The coffee was PERFECT! They have a coffee expert in house. He put a lot of love into it. I do love my crew at Starbucks, however this could be my favorite. Check it out!

Yelp
Cafe Madeline serves up a solid Korean street toast and coffee. I was searching for a breakfast/coffee place on my most recent trip to Seattle and this restaurant was just a few blocks from my hotel. The Korean street toast was well-made with a Korean omelet, Krispy bacon, and ketchup sandwiched between well- buttered bread ($10). They also had a solid mocha. I couldn't connect to their wifi so might not be an amazing place to sit and study, but that may have been more due to my technical ineptitude than the lack of wifi.

Yelp
Best Korean cafe under the courthouse with the nicest chillest staff and vibe! Watch the hours for breakfast and lunch as they're short and items may run out. Lots of seating and delicious Seoul bowls where you can taste the authenticity. They have Korean breakfast items, regular cold cut sandwiches and lunch Seoul bowls. Around $15 for a bowl of delicious Korean food. Choose a base of rice or japchae, add bulgolgi, spicy pork, chicken, or tofu. Get the chicken- it was surprisingly better and juicier than the bulgolgi with plenty of flavor. Add the toppings- there's kimchi, corn, greens, pickled veg, etc. tl;dr super nice staff! Get the chicken Seoul bowl with japchae! Delicious!

Yelp
The classic plate is my way to start the morning! Pleased to be able to grab a hot freshly cooked breakfast and to my liking. The ability to choose from different meats, breads, and how I like my eggs, instead of just pre-frozen. Great hardworking staff all around, would recommend others stop by and grab a bite to eat!

Yelp
Really friendly people work here and the Korean street toast was worth getting up early for. I'm only here for a few days but may be back tomorrow.

Yelp
I really liked this place! It has a lot of variety. I picked up a basic sandwich and was happy with it. I'd come back.

Yelp
One morning I stumbled across Cafe Madeline, I was craving a breakfast sandwich and stopped in. I grabbed a breakfast burrito for my partner and a Maddie's Breakfast Melt for myself. The burritos are good, but ohh my is the breakfast melt delicious and worth the few minutes it takes to make And enough for two meals. Today I stopped over for lunch and grabbed the Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich. The sandwich is absolutely delicious and a must have!
google avatar

Yelp
There is a smaller menu, we had breakfast and the food was good. I had the breakfast sandwich and my husband had the breakfast plate. Service was very good and quick.
google avatar

Yelp
Exceptional customer service and the constitutional caprese was worth the wait! Definitely will be returning for breakfast and future lunch!
google avatar

Yelp
The food was amazing, but the staff were even better! I got a spicy pork bowl over purple rice with all the toppings, and there were so many flavors and a good amount of spice. So delicious! The workers so were extremely friendly too, which made the food taste even better :) Fairly priced and huge portions. My favorite place so far in Seattle, I'm looking forward to becoming a regular here!

Yelp
Cafe Madeline was very spacious and clean! Above the signage outside, it said it used to be the courthouse cafe linked to the courthouse. I noticed there were officers circling the area so it felt very safe to be in that area. We went for lunch on a Wednesday and we were greeted promptly and nicely by the staff. In addition to their sandwiches, they now have their "Seoul Bowls" there as well. We got the bowl with purple rice, bulgogi, and all of the toppings (grilled onions, pickled jalapeño, kimchi, cucumber kimchi, pickled daikon radish, Korean mashed potato) drizzled with a delicious sauce. This one is not pictured because we couldn't wait to dig in! We also got the #5 Supreme Heat on ciabatta, #6 Maddie Melt on whole grain and the Korean street toast with bacon that was on the breakfast menu. The Korean street toast can't be found anywhere else and it was so good! Even my picky mom enjoyed that one! It was a nice find as they use Boar's Head meats and serve Caffe D'arte coffee. They also have Donut Factory donuts if you're looking for something sweet! Definitely will go back to try their breakfast sandwiches (we went too late for that as breakfast ends at 10:30).

Yelp
Café Madeline has great rice bowls that I love. But I've gone from being a weekly/regular customer (I work in the courthouse) to barely going and only when I'm too lazy to walk elsewhere. This is because each of those approximately 4-5 times I visited in the past few months, I've been turned away because they'd run out of their ingredients. (Once, I managed to grab the last bowl - my first in maybe 6 months!) And this happens usually well before 1pm, too, the end of peak lunch hour! In short, they have good food when you can get it, which seemingly is never. They are hardly apologetic when they tell you you have to go somewhere else for your food, presumably because it happens everyday and they get the profit they need. As a result, I have transitioned from being really happy to have them at the courthouse and wanting to support their business to associating the Café with disappointment, unreliability, and lack of care about their customers. I wish they would stock enough ingredients to at least last through the lunch hour in consideration of their customer base, or at least put up signs when they run out so that I don't waste so much time every time I go.

Yelp
Amazing breakfast food and the service was excellent. Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Yelp
The bulgogi fries taste amazing. Heaps of fresh fries, bulgogi and kimchi. Good value. Great for sharing.

Yelp
Best sandwiches in the world. You can tell they make everything with pride and love. Try their Korean Street Toast breakfast sandwiches, it will make all other bfast sandwiches reconsider themselves. I've only had their delivery, it's time I go in and try their Seoul Bowls, I'm sure they're spectacular. Thank you Madeline for being there.

Yelp
Tried their bowls and Korean breakfast sandwich, and would recommend both! Super close to work and worth a try. Great friendly staff definitely coming back to support local business!

Ruth S.

Yelp
Outstanding. Good food. Weird sandwich and Korean thing but that's ok. Location in the courthouse means it's busy

Mark N.

Yelp
I usually stop by here for breakfast at least once during my work trips to Seattle. I like the Korean breakfast sandwich. Service is friendly but not fast. Nice place to bring your laptop and have a delicious made to order breakfast.

Michael L.

Yelp
Cafe Madelines is awesome. Every morning I come into have my Machiato Mike. I highly recommend it. Everyone at Cafe Madeline is so welcoming and nice. I highly recommend Cafe Madelines.

Shannon D.

Yelp
We wanted somewhere with a simple good breakfast. We saw this place had great reviews on Google and yelp, so we came and wow!! The staff were pleasant and sweet. The restaurant was clean and the food was AMAZING! It's a great price and the food is worth every penny. My spouse had a Korean Street Toast and I am avocado toast sandwich. Both were so filling we almost didn't finish. This is defy our new favorite breakfast spot.

Thanh P.

Yelp
Delicious food and fresh ingredients. I got the BLT sandwich and a caramel macchiato, which they have milk subs for. Will definitely visit again.

Mieko P.

Yelp
Great food for reasonable price In Downtown Seattle! Quick service and friendly staff.
