New coffee spot in the East cut. Coffee is great for light roast lovers. The white moca was delicious, and the fruit almond croissant was also great! Although the prices are a little high, it is worth it to stop by and support our local businesses.

I was fortunate to be come in by luck when it was raining hard outside. Ordered the upside down pineapple cake, a cuppa hot mocha and cod fritters. Everything tasted very good but my favorite was the pineapple cake. Every bite was moist and delicious and it was a mother’s recipe. How could that ever go wrong!!?? Will come back to try more stuff on their menu. It’s about time FD got a cute face lift! Bonsoir et bon apetit! Kudos to the couple running this place. Good job guys!

C’est parfait! Great and welcoming place tucked in off the corner. French greetings when you arrive inside, french foods, and great on the go convenience for the busy persons needs. Owners are on the floor working!

This a great French cafe that I’ve been to a few times now. Everything is delicious. Even the items that seem simple, like a quinoa salad are extra tasty. We’ve tried a couple of the entree jars that you can take home and they were amazing, restaurant quality amazing. And have dessert, you won’t be sorry. The round brownie looking lava cake thing is to die for. You’ll be happy you came by.

Google
French style cafe with a great selection and a welcoming staff. You can find typical French cafe fare here. I love their pastries! The coffee is excellent. But the highlight is the different warm meal options for your lunch and dinner. The meals come in large glass jars that you can get to go and eat at home. I've gotten lunch here and then picked up dinner to go.

I’m not really a fan of French food, but I thought I’d stop in as they’re in my neighborhood. My first impression is that the staff is very friendly and delightful. One of the owners a, presumably Mademoiselle, was super nice, as was her employee. I had the moelleux au chocolat and it was absolutely, incredibly delicious! You can dine in or take your food to go. I may even try one of the entrees at some point, but I can say for sure I will be back for the desserts and delicious looking pastries!

Google
Love the idea of the entrees in a jar for eating in and taking out. I had the Ratatouille, it was rich and savory (all veggies). The jars can be eaten or taken out and then returned for a great eco option. The husband and wife team were so helpful. Highly encourage folks to try this out in the neighborhood.

Google
the lava cake was delicious. great to see a new addition of French cafe in the neighborhood! to the owner: the sign was very small that it took me a while to find out this new place is open. please make your sign more obvious so more people would know!

Yelp
Cute little French bakery that is very into jars. Jars for desserts and jars for full-on French dishes, kinda feels like they're angling to appear in your local Whole Foods refrigerated section any moment now. I will say, anything I tried in a jar was very good. Poulet Basquaise: Was kinda weird that they take this out of a refrigerated section and microwave it for you. Feels like something they'd do at a Japanese 7-Eleven. Though the chicken was delicious! It was bone-in skin-in, but just a single little thigh bone in each piece. So tender and so much great flavor. Lots of peppers too. Purée de Pommes: A scoop of mashed potatoes with some lumps for texture. It was decent by itself, but did a great job absorbing all the delicious Basque Chicken juices. Jambon Beurre: I'm a big fan of a simple fresh baguette lightly smeared with butter and filled with ham. It's really just an excuse to eat a whole baguette by making it seem a little sandwich-like, without going for a ton of filling. However, theirs was very odd. The baguette was toasted heavily, having almost croton-like texture. Lots of crunch and crumbling. Really didn't make any sense since a fresh baguette would have just enough crustiness to get the job done. Mousse au Chocolat: Loved the light whipped texture. Rich chocolate and smooth creaminess. Though it was addictive, I felt like I ate it a bit too fast. Far Breton: Custardy baked tart with some nice spiced prunes on the bottom. Wasn't too familiar with the pastry, but I'm a fan now. Quite hearty.

Yelp
New cute French cafe that opens early for us seeking breakfast/ java on workday mornings. The inside is very spacious and likewise the plentiful patio is shared by their neighbor, Spice Kit. I am personally new to SF in terms of food pricing for whose clientele is primarily local employees so just FYI I am not making the most fair comparison for the lack thereof intel. Imo, coffee price seemed decent (5.30 for a capp) though my specialty croissant felt a but pricey (7 for choco banana croissant). I am also trying out a "Tarte Brenton" the staff tells me it is sweet bread in a jar - sounds interesting so trying that out when my brain tells me to consume calories later in the day. I like that they come in reusable mason jars! So far both the cappuccino & croissant were yummy! The staff were definitely very friendly and answered my too many questions to be asking early on a work morning and perhaps since it's new, but still I also liked the clean, warm seating inside. You can ask for your pastry to be heated - though mine was more thawed than warm but perhaps I could ask for more heat(?) next time? P.S. They can make all espresso drinks decaf!

Yelp
Order: * Boeuf Bourguignon * Tarte au Citron Pros: * Friendly staff, comfortable, casual setting * The beef was very tender and full-flavored and served piping hot, which I appreciated. In the sauce were some stewed carrots and served with a side of rice, it was just a very delicious dish. * It's nice that there's an option to get a dish like this without breaking the bank. * The tarte au citron had a very nice lemony, tart flavor. Cons: * The beef had a pretty large piece of gelatinous fat attached to it that I had to cut away and put to the side. I know some people like this and "fat is flavor," but the texture I find unpleasant. * I admit I did finish the tarte au citron, but it was too sweet for me, sort of reminded me on the sweetness level of lemon meringue pie. * Although when I went for lunch, there were plenty of seats, if it were to get busy, I could see how there wouldn't be enough seating. Comments: * Note that this is a super casual order and sit type café. I would say this place is really good, 4.5 stars. Because the beef was so good, the staff was friendly, and I want to support small businesses, I would look forward to going back, I'm bumping it to a 5.0.

Yelp
Boy, you ought to fall in love with Café Mademoiselle! Its interior was la grande, with a wide range of glass container filled entreés, pastries, and some beverage selections. There's plenty of outdoor seating with some indoor seating, that is if there's enough tables for you to dine in. Anyway, back to the interior. Its walls were colored red, adorned with paintings and pictures of French settings. All the staff were dressed up in a unique, fancy outfit based on the country's background. The moment you stepped in, the male owner would say "bonjour" before he welcomed you in. It's like we're going into another time and place to enjoy our everyday lives in France. Might come back once again to try one of their glass container filled entreés. Viv la Café Mademoiselle!!!

Yelp
We stopped by one Saturday for lunch, and I'm so glad we did! The side salad was so simple, yet somehow transported me back to Paris. We tried the Poulet Basquaise, Hachi Parmentier, and side mashed potatoes, and I'd recommend all three. I'd liken the Hachi Parmentier to a Shepherd's Pie, and the Poulet Basquaise to a stewed tomato-based chicken. The chicken was so tender, it fell off the bone, and it was very flavorful. It paired perfectly with the mashed potatoes. I love the concept for its sustainability. As a local, I'm happy to pay a little bit more for glass that I can return the next time. My husband brought up a great idea to buy a few and store them in the fridge for a day when we're too tired to cook. Will stock up next time!

Yelp
This place is so cute! I stumbled by on my way to lunch and couldn't help going inside to check it out. The interior is spacious with high ceilings and modern decor. The latte I got was *to die for*. Like the previous reviewer mentioned, they serve authentic French meals in these beautiful glass jars. The owner said he and his wife make them from scratch and they're sealed airtight, which makes them shelf-stable for up to a year! Can't wait to go back and try the food!

Yelp
Delicious lattes and the service is wonderful! My favorite stop coming into or leaving the city

Yelp
Excellent french cuisine readily available! I grew up in Lyon and I really missed having homey food nearby. super nice service, very cute containers, definitely worth the visit :)

Yelp
Delicious meals served in gorgeous sustainable glass containers! The staff was friendly and accommodating to a large group. We were greeted with warmth and kindness. I took the chocolate mouse home for a desert that evening and I can't wait to go back and stock up on more to enjoy. Really a wonderful spot for lunch or take home to enjoy for dinner that evening!

Yelp
This place is AMAZING. I have gotten the coffee cake, tart, and croissant. Each time it's super moist and perfectly crafted. I didn't think it was going to be all that great but each time I am so surprised in the best way possible

Yelp
I have tried the ratatouille and the poulet basquaise. Both were delicious. I will certainly be buying these again. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Definitely a great addition to the East Cut food options. S. Kelley

Yelp
The croissant is legit. The price point is comparable to the ones from other bakeries in the area. The location is convenient for those who's live in the East Cut neighborhood. The ratatouille is very good. It's not greasy at all, which is good news for folks like me with sensitive stomach.

Yelp
I had the chocolat chaud and a croissant. Delicious. I will be a regular visitor here. The owner was very nice. Customer service was excellent too.

Yelp
Love this new spot! Fleur and her staff are so warm and hospitable. I got the cod, side salad, tarte tatin, and espresso. Everything was perfect-- you can tell everything was made with love. I enjoyed my meal so much I decided to grab some jars of beef bourguignon, poulet basquaise, and pain au chocolat to go. So convenient to have everything packed in reusable jars! I will absolutely be back. A wonderful addition to the neighborhood.
