Let me start off with made reservations, still waited 15min to be seated , shrimp Alfredo was really good , 9/10. Ordered soon as I sat down still took 10minutes for drinks 30 minutes for food. Saw a huge roach on the floor so they definitely could clean more other then that it was ok. 7/10 experience

Wonderful place. Our family did a last minute reservation for a large party and they were able to handle everything swiftly and with grace, considering it was our vault for the increase of people. They sat us outside and it was very pleasant. Not too hot, nice and cool and we enjoyed the view. The serving staff was excellent. We were the last customers and they treated us like the first of the night. They handled all of our orders and even the separate checks without a hassle. They were professional and all around amazing. Now last but definitely not least, the food!!! The food was fantastic 10/10. Most of my family is not from Florida (we were there for a wedding) but whenever we visit we will for sure be back here. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Best Italian restaurant I've been to.

Google
Food was great & Kylee our server (deserves to be a GM & train staff) was amazingly attentive! Both hosts working the night of 03/28 were absolutely terrible.Had to stand in front of the counter for over 5 minutes without being acknowledged. Almost walked out but decided to stay since the food has great reviews.

Just from last night’s visit it does not take a genius to see how much of a problem the manager here is. I come here often with my brother, his wife, and my own wife, and as someone who has managed restaurants myself I know how this business works. I only hope this review helps those who feel they cannot speak up, because what I witnessed is a real cause for concern. We showed up without reservations hoping for a booth since our favorite band was playing. The hostess at the front, a very kind young lady with a light complexion, explained that they were fully booked, and by looking around it was obvious she was telling the truth. We appreciated her honesty. She even suggested we grab a table in the room to the right, and when we were done we could head over to the dance floor if we wanted. That worked fine for us. I had Candice as my server and she was amazing. She was attentive, polite, and made sure we were taken care of the whole time. The problem started when a group that came in after us was trying to get a booth as well. From what I overheard they were already on the waitlist. Instead of honoring that, the manager gave the booth away to someone else who simply complained loud enough. No respect for policy and no respect for fairness. What made it worse was seeing four servers at the front, all frustrated and talking about how terrible management is. When that many employees feel that way, you know the issue is real. The manager had the perfect chance to do the right thing. He could have supported his staff and taken care of the customer who was waiting properly, but instead he chose to reward the loudest, most entitled person in the room. That is not leadership. The customer is not always right, and anyone who has worked in this business knows it. Now to be fair, the food is very good and the location is nice. The servers are the ones holding this place together because they truly care, and I want to be clear that Candice especially did a fantastic job. But the manager is a different story. If you are not willing to complain, do not expect him to treat you right. I will not be coming in to dine anymore, though I may still order takeout now and then until something changes. To anyone reading this, think carefully before coming here. Good food can only go so far when the person in charge is the biggest problem in the building.

The park around the lake is pleasant and inviting just like the cafe. Although the temperature outside was uncomfortable, I felt very relaxed in the cafe. The server was a polite gentleman who was very friendly. The cafe is a local hangout. Beginning with the stuffed mushrooms I was impressed by the flavor and texture. Presentation was excellent. The server brought out bread and oil with a fantastic spice mix I had never enjoyed before. It was really nice of him to do that. Looking at the wood fired oven I had to try the pizza. Amazing thin crust with fresh vegetables on it. Gotta try the draft brews for sure as they have a good selection. My favorite was the porter. So if you enjoy great food in a Cheers type setting then you definitely want to try the cafe.

Very delicious. Actually surprised by this place. Food is very flavorful. I ordered the veal piccata and didn’t regret my decision. The risotto was great as well.

I recently visited Café Murano and was thoroughly impressed with the entire experience. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the restaurant is a popular spot, as it was quite busy. Despite this, the staff went above and beyond to find us a table as quickly as possible, which we really appreciated. The atmosphere in the restaurant is warm and inviting, making it a perfect place for a relaxed meal. What stood out the most, however, was the exceptional service we received. Our waiter, even though he was juggling multiple tables, was incredibly attentive and ensured that we had everything we needed. His professionalism and friendly demeanor really made our visit special. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious. Each dish was well-prepared and full of flavor, showing the kitchen's dedication to quality. Whether you’re there for a casual meal or a special occasion, Café Murano delivers a dining experience that is both satisfying and memorable. I will definitely be returning!

Google
Good brunch spot. $16 bottomless mimosas, yes please! The brunch food was tasty, but probably not worth the $19-27 per plate. Typical brunch places you’ll leave absolutely stuffed afterwards, I guess these portions are smaller, but relatively the same price. We had a large party and had fun with the service and fun waiter. My daughter loved the French toast. I’d recommend Hamburger Mary’s or something like that for brunch overall, but it was fun to check it out and hang out with the family.

Yelp
Excellent brunch! Nice atmosphere, crowd is on the older side. Our waitress was great. The inside was really nice! It's got a warm, romantic vibe for sure and would make a great date night. We're looking forward to trying dinner. For brunch, we shared the steak and eggs, and lobster/ricotta pizza. Delicious pairing!! Highly recommend going for it!

Yelp
My neighbor took me to Cafe Murano for lunch. She raved about it. The parking was plentiful (we shared the altamonte springs parking lot and crossed the road on foot). The restroom was easy to find but was quite a walk from where we were sitting because the place is huge! The ambiance was nice and our server was kind and attentive. I ordered the lobster and crab ravioli with a side salad and unsweetened ice tea and water. Delicious! I highly recommend this place for lunch. I imagine they are busier at night - during the day there was no wait to be seated.

Yelp
Great place for a drink and some Music. We came here after Red Hot and Boom. We did not eat but my husband got some craft beers He said the Bartenders were just acting dilly dally and were unengaged with the customers . Took forever to get a beer and only two people at bar. But overall the place is really nice Love the Music.

Yelp
Stopped by for dinner after our movie on a random weekday evening, and a nice dinner. It wasn't super busy, so we got seated right away; but the service was kinda slow and we had to wave down our server to get our orders taken. The bread with olive oil was ok! It was toasted, but still felt a bit stale. The meatballs were also ok; the portion was very good for 3 people. I liked my pasta, but my husband thought his pizza was a bit chewy (not in a good way) and the sausage meat on top isn't our favorite because the texture felt dry and tough. It reheated better the next day in the air fryer. The dessert was just fine; I'd skip it here. I hear their brunch or live entertainment nights are better here, so I'd come back to check out those events.

Yelp
This place never disappoints location has a great view no matter where you sit. The service is friendly and timely, and even when it's busy it's not stuffy or too loud. They do close one dinning room off when they have live music by the bar!! Food is delicious, everything I have ever had has been wonderful.
google avatar

Eileen J.

Yelp
Came here for brunch with some friends. I've never been and our server suggested the Eggplant Al Forno as it was their #1 ordered menu item. It was delicious as described, but I would've liked it with just a little less sauce. We sat out on the patio and wished the fans were a bit cooler as they weren't in our direction. Overall, friendly service and the timing was just right.

Yelp
Pizza was Delicious!!!! Our first time here and we were pleasantly surprised! They had a band that was fenomenal! Franchise band! Super good!

Yelp
We were visiting my 82 year old parents due to a serious medical crisis and decided to stop by for a quick drink after dinner. We were seated promptly outside as it was a lovely evening. Kylie M was our server and she helped with our wine selections, advised us of other fun restaurants with outdoor dining, recommended dishes here for a future visit, etc. She is so friendly and professional, ask for her fora special occasion or anytime as she is that good. The restaurant is lovely inside as well, but on a cooler evening sit outside with a view of the lake and watch the sun set. We can't wait to return and try the food. From tables nearby, it sure looked amazing.

Yelp
I love this place! They have awesome brick oven pizza, a fantastic lobster pizza for brunch, an amazing happy hour, great appetizers like the stuffed meatballs and Brussels sprouts. The happy hour is half off all cocktails. Staff is always friendly. They have music every Saturday, usually around 8:45pm. Cafe Murano is a great date spot, brunch spot, or fun night out to dance to classic rock. It's on Cranes Roost, so there a beautiful view of the lake if you sit outside. The only con that I can think of is the volume of the live music. I personally think it's a tad too loud. Overall though, this is a great spot for so many reasons. Also, dog friendly outside.

Yelp
My husband and I have been wanting to try Cafe Murano ever since we spotted it from the AMC parking lot across the street. When we finally did try it, my husband exclaimed, "Why haven't we been here sooner?!" Cafe Murano is among the many shops and restaurants that surround Crane's Roost Park in Altamonte Springs. They offer indoor and outdoor seating and have both a front and back entrance. The decor is what I call New York Italian. Meaning, it's reminiscent of decor you'd see in Italian restaurants in New York City. Our server, Cole, was excellent. He gave great suggestions, checked on us often and made sure we were happy. Our meal began with complimentary bread and herbed olive oil. It was so good that we gladly accepted more when offered. My husband had a side Cesar salad (you can get it with or without anchovies - he chose without) and I had the house side salad. Both were fresh and a good way to prepare our pallets for our entrees. I had the chicken della casa and made my husband try it so that he could try to recreate the dish. My husband chose the house special: a NY strip steak with garlic butter and sautéed mushrooms. It came with delicious (I know because I tried them) smashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. A well-rounded dish that my husband enjoyed. We were full but also wanted to try one of their delicious-looking desserts, so we chose the Limoncello cake. It was light, lemony and just what we were looking for. We most definitely will go back to Cafe Murano!

Yelp
I walked in and no one greeted me, but our server was attentive. The ambiance is calm and quiet. As for the food, it was delicious, but not my favorite Italian food. Even though the food presentation was beautiful, I would've liked a bigger portion size for the cost. Overall score: A-

Yelp
Came here for dinner and got the Pineapple Express cocktail and for my entree got the chicken rollatini. Everything was delicious and love the location in cranes roost park

Yelp
We have been here several times and have never had a bad meal. The service is always top notch also as well as the atmosphere

Yelp
A work friend of mine planned a retirement party for two of our coworkers this past Saturday night and let me tell you how good this place was. They provided us with some good eats while we sat around some high top tables ordering drinks. Some of the apps we had were meatballs, chicken tenders, mozzarella and sliced tomato's with balsamic vinegar, two types of pizza (margarita and white), and shrimp. Everything there tasted wonderful. Thank you for providing such an amazing atmosphere for our two ladies taking their next steps into retirement land! "They're your tastebuds. Satisfy them!" -Allan Delacruz

Yelp
Whether it's lunch or dinner, Cafe Murano's is wonderful! A bit too dark inside unless you sit at the windows, but the ambiance is still good. Can be very romantic in the evening. Their food is homemade, mouthwatering delicious, and never disappoints. Oh, they also have great pizza ! The service is always impeccable. They have a very large bar and a couple of TV's for the sports fans. Plenty of very pleasant outdoor dining where you can enjoy the view of Crane's Roost Lake. Plenty of parking. If you have never been before, once you try this delightful restaurant, it will become one of your regular dining spots.

Yelp
Walked in with my coworkers and were immediately seated. The place was a bit dim but warm and cozy. It was chilly outside, so the warmth was appreciated. Our server was so friendly and attentive to our table. Everyone finished eating at different times and she would be there to remove the plates and silverware. Now down to the food I tried their grilled chicken and spaghetti with just the sauce. The chicken was juicy and perfectly seasoned. The pasta was al dante. I will be back to try their fresh mozzarella. I seen some being carried to other tables and they looked amazing. I will be back for sure. Thank you for such a great experience.

Yelp
So Good, ambiance perfect beautiful views. Service exceptional. Ryan was the best of the best. Attentive, recommended dishes in all varieties and a true dinner experience. Enjoyed every minute. We don't live near here but visit every other month and it will be our go to place.
google avatar

Yelp
The food, the service, the setting all contributed to an amazing experience as usual.

Yelp
Wife had the lasagne and liked it. Generous portion for her so she had some for dinner the next day. I had the fettuccine Alfredo and the sauce was loose and watery. Portion was about 2/3 what I expected for the $23 price. Salad and bread were on point. The server was alright but was a bit intimidating when I was filling out the tip at the table on her card reader. I requested a paper receipt and she didn't provide one and I didn't make a stink but I should have.

Yelp
Came here for brunch and it was so nice and relaxing! We made reservations for first thing Sunday morning and it was so nice to sit inside at the bar and listen to the life jazz music. It was so clean, the bathrooms were elite and the service was amazing. The Espresso Martini was amazing and the food was top notch! 10/10 will definitely be back to explore more of the menu and music acts!

Yelp
My husband and I came here on a Wednesday evening with only about an hour to eat at dinner time. We were greeted and served immediately by a very friendly hostess and waiter. There was plenty of seating inside, a large bar area and outside seating overlooking Crane's Roost. The food selection was extensive, with daily special options. They offer bread with oil prior to the meal, which my husband loved. I enjoyed the bread, but thought the oil lacked herbs and was too oily. We ordered the date appetizer for something different. It tasted pretty good, but looked a bit funny, and my husband thought it had too much sauce on it. We both enjoyed our main course selection and ate it all without taking any home because it was so delicious. The cost was reasonable for the food we ordered, and the service was fabulous from beginning to end.

Yelp
It was a rehearsal dinner. And so it was a set menu. But everything was delicious. The staff was very helpful. The tiramisu was awesome!
google avatar

Yelp
I love this place so much! The food is always great and the service to match. It's very old school vibes but the quality is worth it!
google avatar

Daniel C.

Yelp
Service was great! But the food tasted frozen and poorly seasoned. My wife's steak was almost too chewy to eat.
google avatar

Rebecca D.

Yelp
I have experienced Cafe Murano for both Brunch and Dinner and have enjoyed it. The brunch pizzas are incredible and I personally enjoyed the steak and eggs. Our server was so friendly and took great care of us. Also you have to appreciate the lively vibe and beautiful look of the lake on Crane's Roost.

Yelp
Cafe Murano is forever my go to brunch spot! Between the live music, the views and the excellent service everything is just amazing. The food you can be sure that no matter what you choose it will be delicious!

Zanne L.

Yelp
Sadly, I think this place has gone downhill. The food was just OK, overpriced for what it was. The service was definitely snarky--our server (Katrina) was downright unpleasant. I will give them kudos, though, for good entertainment.
google avatar

Shilley T.

Yelp
It had been a while since eating to Cafe Murano and their menu changed a bit and it was great! My friends and I have a monthly get together for happy hour/ dinner and this time we picked Cafe Murano in Altamonte Springs! First of all let me say that our waitress Candice was awesome! She made sure to check on us often and refilled our drinks. I don't believe this restaurant has happy hour but they have drinks specials! I was in the mood for pizza and hesitated a lot between the Proscutto di Parma and the Wild Mushroom pizza. I was told the mushroom pizza was to die for. I have to say it was delicious! The dough was perfect, variety of mushrooms were yummy as well. If you're into fungi like I am you'd love this pizza. I will definitely be back at Cafe Murano to check out the other items on their menu!
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped in for a Late lunch. Just what I needed. I had the Italian Cheese Steak (excellent) and my wife had the Grilled Chicken Murano salad (warm lettuce but otherwise good). We love the atmosphere and the location and we will return

Yelp
An unexpected turn of events led us to this charming restaurant. The server was excellent with recommendations, partially. The special, sautéed grouper over angel hair with lemon and capers was outstanding. The crab and lobster ravioli did not lack taste, but was on the cold side. It did not help that staff allowed patrons to stand next to the high tops in the bar while waiting for their table. A young man stood so close to us that it gave me the ick when he kept tousling his hair next to our food for about 5 min. Of course his parents did not see a problem. The Etude Pinot Noir did not disappoint- get the bottle. Dessert selections are broad. We opted for the cheesecake and bread pudding. I would go back for grouper and opt for a booth, as you can't control patrons' rudeness.
google avatar

Matt D.

Yelp
It's good Italian food, solid service. They have a loud rock band on Friday nights with a dance floor that brings out lots of people. Also they have a friendly cat that hangs out on the patio and accepts pets and scritches.
google avatar

RJ A.

Yelp
In town visiting family and wanted to eat somewhere local. Hurricane Milton had just hit the week before so we were not able to go on the walkway across from the restaurant. We ate outside and it was great. We started with the Brussels sprouts, and they were outstanding! I would go as far as saying best we have ever had. In fact forget to take a picture until they were almost gone. I had the cheese raviolis and my niece the fettuccine Alfredo, both were delicious. Pasta is all made in house as well as the sauces. The to go bags were the best! Will for sure be eating here again next time we are in town!
google avatar

Emily W.

Yelp
We visited on a Friday night and it was very busy but we managed to get a table. Our server was very friendly. The fresh baked bread & oil was wonderful. Our drinks were great and it was happy hour so they were half price. Our pasta dishes were so, so delicious! I cannot wait to visit again!
google avatar

Reina L.

Yelp
Food: always amazing! They make a lot of stuff from scratch. The rigatoni is heavenly. Drinks are great too. I like the mules and limoncello. Cake was rich and delicious. Service: Eric is the best! Staff is always attentive. Ambiance: I love sitting outdoors so I can bring my dog. They are well behaved dog friendly. There are curtains to block any rain. Love this restaurant. One day I'll try a different dish other than the rigatoni.
google avatar

Yelp
Great ambient and atmosphere and the service is fantastic but be aware that is for the best to make a reservation

Kathy F.

Yelp
I was very disappointed. I told the hostess that I had a friend joining us that there were 3 of us. She sat 2 of us and what her name is for when she arrived. The hostess sat her in another room and she told her there would be 3 of us. Our waiter came and got are drink order, after delivery then he disappeared. We wanted the bread basket plus a started. He was sitting at the bar. Finally got his attention. I ordered a salad. The salad was very dry. Once we got his attention again I asked for more salad dressing. He preceded to tell me it was tossed. I explained it was dry and I needed more he still argued with me that the dressing was tossed. He did get me more dressing when I said I really wanted more. I have gone here for years. But today is probably my last time. I had 2 friends that had never been there and they will not be returning either.
google avatar

Amanda C.

Yelp
This review is based only on their nighttime entertainment on the weekends. I've attended a few times to see some bands play. Very safe and fun environment to dance to some throwback tunes. They do have a full menu you can order from. Pizza is yummy. The bartenders seemed to keep everyone's drinks filled including my diet cokes. Definite service with a smile. Will be returning sometime soon.

Yelp
Really nice Italian restaurant right on Crane's Roost. Food was delicious and well priced. Our server Logan was wonderful.
google avatar

Idaysy B.

Yelp
One of my favorite places to go during happy hour! Not only is the food delicious but the drinks are half off!! My number one go to for affordable drinks and amazing atmosphere.
google avatar

Jamie P.

Yelp
My group was able to get a table on the patio outside on a beautiful evening. Our server was very attentive even though there were 10 of us. Everyone enjoyed their cocktails and the different food orders. I had the Brussel sprouts, side Parmesan risotto and grilled chicken. I was so pleased that the risotto was cooked through and not rushed like other restaurants tend to do. The chicken was seasoned well and cooked nicely. Other people enjoyed the personal pizzas and charcuterie boards. There was a band playing inside on a stage area when we went on a Friday. We didn't hear them from outside but it looked to be a crowd pleaser!

Yelp
Mismanaged, rude, management. Deceptive business practices. A big No! Not recommended

Yelp
Great service and delicious New York strip steak with asparagus and potatoes and we started with a fresh salad with breaded chicken breast.

Yelp
I can't believe I've waited so long to eat here. I've been missing out! My husband and I ate here with some friends for lunch on Saturday and it was delicious! We were started with a loaf of warm bread that was soft inside and crusty outside and accompanied by a spice and oil dip. We shared a few small plates including: th e stuffed meatballs, caprese and goat cheese dates wrapped in prosciutto. Everything was the perfect temperature, was a good portion, served in a timely manner and was scrumptious! The fresh caprese was good and the o ly thing I can say is that I wish it had more Basil. The goat cheese dates were such a rich, savory treat. Service was good and the decor really made you feel like you were in Italy with the rich wood and tile. Rating from F to A+++ I give it an A++.

Yelp
We have frequented CM for years. Birthdays, special occasions, Red Hot Boom etc. It's always been a family favorite. This past year it has gone down hill drastically. The pizza was soggy, the drinks were horrible, the shrimp diavolo was overcooked, the Chicken Della Casa had ONE artichoke heart in it and hardly any mushrooms or capers. We didn't complain, we didn't send anything back because we just wanted to enjoy our time together with family and friends. Our server was WONDERFUL. Always has been on top of things when we come in. The reason for this review is because of the manager. Trent is usually really cool. Last night he was literally walking around cursing and dropping the f-bomb at his servers and even yelled at customers. Including us. He did try to rectify it with us but he kept going off on people and was just ugly energy. I get it, Red Hot Boom is stressful, but it honestly wasn't as busy as last year, the patio was essentially empty all night (until 9:15 and let's be real, NO ONE paid $50 per person to show up 15 minutes before the fireworks went off, they all came from inside) A manager should be used to handling things professionally no matter the kind of day they are having. We all have bad days now and again but last night was over the top. As of now, we won't be back.

Yelp
This is a great location right by the water. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious. The complementary bread is nice and warm. It is so good that you keep wanting more. I ordered penne vodka with peas, it was very tasty! I enjoyed a Shirley Temple and lemonade for a drink.
google avatar

Laura G.

Yelp
I had a delicious meal at Cafe Murano. Everything that I ordered was freshly made and served at the perfect temperature. The kitchen staff is solid. Their prices are reasonable and the serving staff was wonderful. A great band was playing so we stretched out the evening by lingering over cocktails with stuffed mushrooms ($17.00) and the antipasto misto ($16.00). Loved it!! Later we ordered chicken parmesan ($22.00) and shrimp & smoked sausage risotto. ($24.00) The risotto was super rich and very tasty. We also enjoyed the comfort of well made chicken parmesan. Even though we could only eat half of our entrees we still ordered a brownie with a scoop of ice cream ($7.00) to round out the evening. I did not expect dessert to be so satisfying. The brownie was warm and fudgy....not overly sweet. A perfect ending to a delicious meal.

Yelp
1st time at Murano's but definitely not the last! Awesome happy hour, food was delicious, but overall Danny B was hands down the absolute best!

Yelp
First time dining experience at this restaurant. We had a reservation and were seated promptly. We ordered the stuffed meatball appetizer to share and that was our favorite part of the meal. It was delicious! I got the rigatoni calabrese and he got the margarita pizza and added sausage to it. The pasta was delicious and I have half for leftovers tomorrow. He liked his pizza, but it was a bit soft in the middle and the edges were a bit burned. We did not have room for dessert. The service was friendly and prompt. The restaurant seemed very family friendly and clean. When the bill came, both of our drinks were half off for happy hour. Our server didn't mention happy hour but it was a nice surprise at the end. Overall a great dining experience and we will certainly be back!

Yelp
This is our second visit to Murano and our experience was "almost" just as perfect as the first time. Let me explain... We first came about a year ago. Sat outside with that beautiful water front view. Meat and wine were awesome. Wanted to come back. This past Sunday was the perfect day. Again, we sat outside. Even though it was pretty packed, they got us a table...nice! We ordered kids pizza, shrimp and scallops and steak diane. Fresh bread with olive oil and 2 glasses of wine preceded our meal. All fantastic. Then the entrees arrived. I have to say the flavor was on point, delicious! My only observation is that the pasta portion is pretty small... in both dishes. But flavor? That was delish! Service was very good and with a perfect lightly breezy but sunny day, we couldn't have had a better meal! Ps: tiramisu was yummy as well!
