Café Noir was a complete letdown on all fronts. I ordered the pasta, and it was absolutely horrible—bland, tasteless, and outright disgusting. It was one of the worst dishes I’ve ever been served, and I couldn’t even finish it. For a place that seems to market itself as a quality café, this was beyond disappointing.
The iced coffee wasn’t much better. It was mediocre at best—watery, flavorless, and unimpressive. To make matters worse, it was served in a broken glass, which is not just careless but also dangerous. How can a café not check something so basic? It’s shocking and shows a complete lack of care for customers.
On top of the bad food and drink, the café itself is not suitable for sitting and getting work done. None of the tables have power points, which makes it incredibly inconvenient for people who want to work on their laptops or charge their devices. In this day and age, a café should cater to professionals and students who need a functional workspace, and this one clearly does not.
Overall, the entire experience was a disaster—bad food, unsafe drinkware, and an environment that doesn’t support basic needs like charging devices. I won’t be coming back, and I certainly wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
