19 Best Hotel Brunch Buffets in Hong Kong

"Oysters are one of the biggest attractions at this mezzanine-level restaurant at the InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong. They're sourced from around the world and shucked on the spot (and rarely offered among Hong Kong buffets). There are also a number of live-cooking stations where dishes, such as pastas and pan-fried foie gras, can be made-to-order. You'll find globally inspired options, from pulled pork tacos to Thai curries, jerk chicken, gazpacho, crispy-skinned suckling pig, and more. Dishes change slightly according to promotional themes, but consistency in quality is what keeps savvy Hongkongers coming back week after week." - Kate Springer, Janice Leung Hayes

I recently dined at Cafe on M, a Japanese-themed buffet located in the InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong in Tsim Sha Tsui. Here's my review: The restaurant offers a decent selection of dishes, but it is not as extensive as some other buffets. However, what they lack in quantity, they make up for in quality. The Chinese-style soup was particularly delicious and my favorite dish. The service at Cafe on M was exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff always on hand to assist you. However, the receptionist at the entrance could be more proactive and friendly. Unfortunately, the crab legs were a disappointment, as they lacked any crab flavor and were not fully thawed. This was a letdown as seafood is a highlight of any Japanese-themed buffet. The restaurant is not particularly large, but it does offer a cozy and intimate dining experience. Overall, Cafe on M is a good choice for those looking for a quality dining experience with excellent service, but keep in mind that the selection of dishes is not extensive and the crab legs could be improved.

I wanted to take Hubby to a seafood buffet for his birthday celebration and was So excited to see Cafe On M on Eatigo for 50%off at 8:30pm. We were seated right away and given 1.5 hrs to eat. We were quite impressed with the selection. Salad Bar with Sushi and Sashimi. Cheese and cured Meats. Raw bar with crabs, fresh shucked oysters, crayfish, mussels, whelk and cocktail prawns. Hot Dishes was quite a nice selection soon. A big corner of Indian food, a Chinese roasted meats area, Spanish Seafood soup area, Lobster Laksa, Truffle Pasta, Grilled Tenderloin , lamb chops and Prawns. Roasted Steak and Lamb Leg. Double boiled Soup and Chinese dishes too. Overall, great selection. Big Dessert selection with a Hagen Daas Ice cream bar, chocolate fountain with fruits, French pastries and Chinese desserts. Unfortunately the waffle and Crepe wasn't available. The sashimi was very good. Very fresh. Oysters were not chilled enough, crabs and prawns were pretty good. Meats was fresh and sweet. The Laksa was very tasty but Lobster a bit overcooked. The Truffle and Caviar pasta was ok, a bit bland, needed seasoning. I noticed the lady staff at that station seemed to be training a young man but spent most of the time complaining about her job. Not sure that the quality was affected by not paying attention. The Manager tho was awesome. He noticed right away if ppl are waiting, jumped in to help as much as he can. My fav was the Spanish Seafood soup, it had a huge clam, razor clams, prawns, mini lobster tails, another type of clams too. The Garlic toast was so good with it. The lady pastry chef was also very nice, she explained different pastries and gave great suggestions. The buffet came with Tea and Coffee as well, we chose Cappuccino and Latte. We paid $740 for the 2 of us. Thanks Eatigo! Excellent deal. Great Service with Good Food. Definitely would go again.

Dinner buffet is pretty good. Seafood, sushi to choose but no lobsters. Not a big number of food items or selections but enough for you to choose from, however, desserts a bit lacks. Staffs are friendly and attentive.

This is a great place to have a bfast or brunch. They provide every type of cuisine you can think of on one huge buffet. Loved that I could have a waffle and fried rice for bfast! And everything was very good- except eggs Benedict- I’ve had better.

A wonderful dinner experience as seafood always fresh & the wine package lovely … Mr Tom, John & Ng Chi Wan were very friendly… Mr Tom went the extra mile to prepare a birthday surprise for my friend actual birthday- we had a great time. The Tom yum lady who cooked the soup was lovely too. We be back!!! Thank you

Google
The buffet has been great for a while now, but the consistency of good quality is what we always come back for. They are very innovative with the specials too, crab season was now and delicious. The service is great too, and we can see the system in place is both thoughtful, adaptive and world class. Excellent buffet experience

Yelp
Breakfast buffet is one of the best I have had. American/standard selections and eggs to order, Chinese selections, Dim Sum available, Indian/Malay dishes, pastries to die for (very robust selection), fresh fruits of all kinds, many different juices and smoothies, yogurts, cereals, coffee, tea, and the list goes on. Dinner buffet was also exceptional though only tired it once. They also offer a lunch buffet.

Yelp
Dreadfully horrible breakfast. Coffee wasn't drinkable. Eggs were old, almost fishy tasting and cold. Nothing like slimy cold scrambled eggs to start the day!!! Bacon was cold. Pretty much everything looked to be leftovers from the previous day and the heaters weren't turned on high enough to reheat the food. The pastries were good. I'm sure they were dropped off from an outside company, they all looked like cookie cutter cutouts usually meaning mass produced on an assembly line somewhere.

Yelp
The breakfast buffet has a lot of choices of food, from Asian classics to Western cuisine. It's much better (and cheaper) than their dinner buffet.
