Very nice espresso. You can have fast and delicious breakfast with nice bakery products. They have a wide range of dessert choices. 👌

Tourist trap! I do not recommend going and sitting at the table. Once we ordered our drinks a staff member said to sit down if we drink inside and pay later. We received a very small portion of nuts and chips for our drinks (aperol spritz and espresso) even though we didn't ask for it. While paying, we paid double more than normal -2,6€ for espresso and 10€ for Aperol (!) There was no information about coperta (we have order at bar) and prices in the menu were completely different. Be aware of that!

This lovely patisserie/ bar was opened in 1907. Beautiful cakes & pastries plus savoury rolls & mini pizzas can either be eaten there or taken away. We sat outside in the covered area. It has waitress service but the menus only detailed the alcoholic drinks, cocktails, sodas & hot beverages. We had to go back inside to see what cakes we wanted & they were then brought out to us with our liqueur coffees. The coffees & cakes were beautifully made & yummy. The rum baba was especially moist & boozy. Each table is numbered so we went back inside to pay once finished as a bill was not forthcoming. Staff were friendly & efficient.

Not a great experience. The food is really mid. Service not good. Very loud inside. There’s no place to sit, dirty dishes everywhere. Restroom is complete disaster!

Amazing place for coffee and treats. Incredibly tasty, thick Italian hot chocolate, and endless choices of delicious treats. Honestly, I could eat anything/everything from this place. Even on a cold wet day, the seating outside was warm and sheltered. Yes, it is a bit loud sometimes with the traffic, but not a big deal. Everything else was so great! Kind staff. We were able to split our bill in half to pay separately. Total was €17 for Italian hot choc, macchiato, and 6 treats!

Best cappuccino in Bologna, it's almost always super busy, not really comfy as it has little place inside, amazing croissant with pistachio, totally recommend

The Best Pasticceria in Bologna. And I don’t mean it metaphorically, rhetorically, poetically, or any other way. It’s the best straight up. Coffee? The best. Desserts? The best. Pastries? The best. Prices? The best, especially for the quality. There are also very good breakfast options, like French toasts and pancakes available if you sit on serviced table. It’s just a prime Bologna experience, and also at a very affordable price. They also do catering to events, since when I was at a conference at Bologna Business School, they had pastries provided by Gamberini. I think most Bolognan’s agree that this is the best place. One thing you must be aware of is it’s immense popularity. There almost always will be a long queue, but it goes very fast.
