Google
Bright little cafe with a solid breakfast burrito and espresso drinks. The baristas dial in shots consistently. There’s a nice bench along the window for people-watching. Weekday mornings are calm and perfect for a quick read. They have a couple of vegan pastry options too

Sungmin K.

Google
I ordered one of their signature Pruvia lattes, and it was good enough to earn 5 stars. There's a boba-style café right next to them, but while their drinks are decent, the taste doesn’t quite reach the same level—just good, not exceptional.

ELIZABETH

Google
Great Coffee! Tried the seasonal pumpkin spice latte. Yum! Delicious! I dont like really sweet drinks and this drink has the perfect amount of sweetness, milk and froth. Staff is friendly and will answer any questions you have. If you sign up for the 5 star rewards program you get a free 16 oz drink for your birthday!

Google
Wow, fantastic drinks. Seems so unassuming, with so many different shops and restaurants in this plaza. I just rolled through since my friend and I had lunch nearby. But wow, you can really taste the depth of the milk tea. Lots of seating, too, considering it’s a boba shop.

Google
While searching for coffee, Cafe Pruvia popped up and I’m glad it did. It's a cute shop located in a very busy shopping center in Gardena. It felt like a study room with lots of people studying together on their computers and enjoying a yummy drink. It reminded me of when I was in college studying in the library. Cafe Pruvia offers coffee, lattes, and tea lattes. I went with an iced vanilla latte. Not only did I really enjoy the drink, but I also loved the cup that it was in. I know that's weird, but I just liked the sturdiness of the cup and the shape of it. Hubby and I enjoyed our coffee so much, that we turned around and ordered another drink. This time, we tried their swirled whipped cream matcha drink. That drink was also very good! I loved the way it looked in the cup and I love the way it tasted! Overall, Cafe Pruvia was a success! Amazing drinks, great customer service, and good vibes.

Google
Cafe Pruvia is one of my favorite spots! It’s perfect for catching up with friends or getting some work done on my laptop since they have Wi-Fi and plenty of parking. I really enjoy their signature milk tea with boba — so tasty! The environment is always nice, clean, and comfortable. Definitely a great place to hang out or work.

Google
Hojicha latte w swirled chip whipped cream & boba: Ahhh this was soo good!! You can't adjust the sweetness but it's perfect! The whipped cream is homemade and really delicious; it tastes kinda like custard. The boba texture and taste (like honey) was p good but it was too small to get that nice mouthfeel. 5/5 I tried a little of my friend's drink and it was not it. Don't recommend. Mango black tea 25% sweet: Even though it's 25% sweet and sweeter than my hojicha whipped cream drink. It has that sweet sour fake mango flavoring. Not good. 1/5

Google
First time trying this location. It had beautiful decor, plenty of seating area, and a very sophisticated theme. We ordered with the cashier, who was very friendly and answered all our questions. We got our drinks very quickly too. I got iced hazelnut latte with oat milk and boba and it had a good roasted flavor. He got a blueberry iced latte and it was very subtle but nicely sweet blueberry flavor. They also offer slushes, matcha and milk teas. 10 out of 10 would try again.

Yelp
Café Pruvia is definitely one of my go-to spots when I'm craving boba or a refreshing drink after dinner. The place always has a nice buzz with people studying, working, or just hanging out with friends, but there always seems to be plenty of tables to sit and relax. Ordering is super easy through their tablet system. I love that it has pictures and descriptions for each drink, which makes trying something new really simple. You can also earn points if you come back regularly, which is a nice bonus for frequent visitors like me. This time I got the Oreo Ube Swirl, and it was such a unique treat. The flavors were well balanced, sweet and creamy without either the oreo or ube overpowering the other. Overall, Café Pruvia is a consistent favorite for me, and I'll definitely keep coming back to try more of their drinks!

Yelp
Mango refresher slush with boba Honeydew swirl with boba and without Matcha swirl with boba Honeydew is the best!

Yelp
Guess first review never posted , Sister coffee shop to next door, they alternate times of when they are both open or if overflow you funnel Here Good chill spot , very calm to do work or have a lite chat with friends and family
google avatar

Jaquise B.

Yelp
Drink was good but waited 30 minutes for a basic thai tea while everyone else received their drinks.
google avatar

Francis T.

Yelp
Honestly surprised my group and it was pretty good. The Oreo Taro and peach drink was top tier depending what you liked. The purvia milk tea was pretty good too. I wouldn't get the matcha again tho. Service was pretty fast and there was a kiosk. The place was simplistic was well.
google avatar

Doris G.

Yelp
Soft chewy boba in the strawberry slush. The Spanish latte is wonderful with the double shot espresso, condensed milk, Cinnaman stick, Quick service as they create your drink.
google avatar

Ichika G.

Yelp
When I first came before I was into coffee like I do now, I was surprised how rich their regular latte was. I was used to Starbucks latte and didn't know the real stuff. Today, I am more into espresso and coffee and I still come back here. Their latte is so creamy and rich especially if you choose Spanish latte which they use condensed cream. Today I decided to try something different and tried the Rose flavored latte. Unfortunately I chose less sweetness and I think this is why I don't get much of rose flavor but the latte itself is same as usual which means they pull the espresso almost the same every time. The service is fast. I probably waited 3 min or so on Friday 7pm. It was crowded with people including families. This is a must try place in Gardena.
google avatar

Alyssa P.

Yelp
Pretty good! This place is super pretty on the inside too, so it's great if you want to take photos. I always try a place with the classic milk tea. Definitely good to try if you're in the area, but thought it was pretty standard. That being said, it's better than most other places in the area. 4/5
google avatar

Celina C.

Yelp
Yummmmmm Their rose milk tea was sooooo good! Last time I came here was when they just opened and I went to visit again recently and it was just as good! Very quick service also. They have machines to order in and they call out the names. Inside looks like a good place for study sesh
google avatar

Ruby M.

Yelp
I ordered the passion fruit green apple tea and it was delicious! I also added some lychee jelly and I'm going to be a customer here forever. This place is a hidden gem in Gardena!

Yelp
Came here with my mom and a couple of my brothers after lunch. I wanted something sweet after the heavy lunch and my brothers wanted to go walk around to help with digestion. We ordered two brown sugar milk teas, a honeydew milk tea and a green tea. My mom liked her honeydew milk tea and my brothers seemed to like their drinks. I got one of the brown sugar milk tea, with less sugar and pearls. We ordered at the kiosk, so there was no interaction with the staff until our drinks were ready. I thought the flavor of my tea was okay - every time I've had a drink from here, I've always felt that it was either too strong of a flavor or too watered down. For some reason, it's never more in tune with what I like - which is totally based off my preferences, so someone else may have a different opinion. The boba pearls were very squishy and lacked any flavor, which made my drink less fun to drink, as I was trying to avoid them while drinking the rest of my tea. Overall, the shop is cute. They don't have a very extensive menu, but there is a good variety of drinks to choose from as well as milk options for those who need that. I'm sure I'll be back to try some of the other drinks as it's close to where my brother lives.
google avatar

Jenny K.

Yelp
I haven't been here in so long but it's as good as I remember. There's not a lot of boba shops that offer good milk teas in my area and even this place is 20 mins from me. I got the jasmine milk tea with oat milk and my friend got the earl grey milk tea. She said the earl grey milk tea was a bit grainy idk if it's suppose to be like that but overall taste was good. There are lots of seats/tables for studying and plenty of outlets. You order through the kiosk and the drinks come out pretty quick. Jasmine Milk Tea 9/10 Earl Grey Milk Tea 8.5/10
google avatar

Kaitlin D.

Yelp
Came back after a few years. Drink menu is very similar to when they first opened. They now have all orders taken at self serve kiosks then staff will make the drink. They have a nice chill atmosphere to sit and do work. Cafe is well lit. Drinks were a bit underwhelming this time though. Pruvia milk tea was a bit flavorless and mocha swirl drink was too sugary/powdery tasting. But the boba was tasty! So credit for that! Drinks came out in under 5 minutes.
google avatar

Matthew M.

Yelp
My brother put me on to this spot and tbh I really enjoy it. The vibe gives me a clean aesthetic and everyone in there, is either working on some things like school work or projects, but also a place for friends to gather sipping on their drinks and yapping away. The drinks are always the best treat! I love getting my taro boba fix here compared to others around my parents place! Much love!
google avatar

Juan Carlos H.

Yelp
An exceptional spot to get some drinks, study or/and catch up with friends! Located in a busy and fun shopping center (that in-itself should have you go there-plenty of got spots all around), it's a gem of a coffeehouse/milk tea spot. The drinks are delicious and of good quality. If your drink of choice is coffee they got you, if it's milk tea they got you... they pretty much have a wide range of choices. The service is usually quick too! While they've switched to kiosks they also have humans you can ask questions from. Definitely gotta check this place out!
google avatar

Arcadia W.

Yelp
Tea fiend here, this place is legit. Self serving kiosk Clean store Fast service Competitively priced Fresh boba Quality tea

Yelp
I've been coming here since January of 2022, I've enjoyed it ever since. The drinks are great, the staff is great, and the owners are phenomenal people. The ambiance is perfect for time with friends, a date, or a meeting depending on the time of day. I'll be a patron until the day they close, and then I'll go wherever the new shop is.
google avatar

Jesse M.

Yelp
I had wanted to try a milk tea. I had the strawberry milk tea with Half n half, 25% sweetness, jasmine tea and and boba. I t was suprisringly delicious. The cafe has a calm atmosphere with music. The staff were super friendly and helpful when ordering. You need to place your order at the kiosk.
google avatar

Emily R.

Yelp
Cafe Pruvia is now my new favorite study spot! They close till 10pm I believe most days so that already is a plus since a majority of study spots I've gone to before close early. It's very spacious inside w enough chairs & tables. Where I sat in particular there were plenty of outlets for myself, my friend, & everyone else. So I appreciated that detail a lot. This day I tried a Rose Matcha drink which was surprisingly delicious as I was just a tad skeptical about the rose flavor but wanted to try something different. Upon arriving I ordered my drink on their system which was easy & a few minutes later I was handed my drink by one of the employees. I was overall pleased w my first experience here & will be coming for more drinks & study sessions. Thank you Cafe Pruvia l!
google avatar

Chloe T.

Yelp
Such a cute place, I love coming here for the drinks, hanging out with friends, or coming here to study. The service is always amazing and friendly. I have been getting the Oreo Matcha Swirl for a while, but I might start getting the Hojicha after tasting my cousins!!! It was so delicious!!! Can't wait to come back here and try the other drinks!
google avatar

Ralph H.

Yelp
Love love this place! Sister company/location from their next door spot. They are all about the coffee! They have tons of options and staff is always friendly and very helpful! This is my go to coffee spot for sure! I use their coffee beans as well and they are perfectly roasted at medium strength. The indoor ambience can be quiet or medium loud depending on how many people are inside but they have tables where people can work/study from. I will be back for sure!
google avatar

Malia S.

Yelp
love this place. drinks are great, and such a great environment to study and be productive in. the service is great, i much prefer a tablet system as an introvert. :)
google avatar

Jynelle Christine S.

Yelp
Great place to get boba or coffee! I tried the matcha slush and matcha milk tea and both were just the right amount of sweetness. The boba was also soft and chewy, with such great flavor. The owners are also so nice and friendly! They also have plenty of seating inside and they have a cafe next door for anyone wanting coffee instead of boba!
google avatar

Trilina M.

Yelp
Elegant vibes and great drinks. Love the blue and gold colors of the cafe. Ordering is done at self-serve kiosks. Depending on the number of people, there might be a bit of a wait. I got the strawberry slush with boba. They do not skimp on boba! Which is a bit crazy because they had an option for double boba as well. It's not flavored but is cooked well. Strawberry was really tasty and well blended.
google avatar

Penelope

Yelp
Cute and tasty drinks, WiFi did not work which killed the vibes, not so friendly service :(

J F.

Yelp
Good coffee drinks and boba. No drip coffee. A bit expensive, $6+ for all drinks. Nice place to hangout and work or read.

Yelp
Cafe Pruvia is one of my favorite spots! It's perfect for catching up with friends or getting some work done on my laptop since they have Wi-Fi and plenty of parking. Yelp
My fav boba + coffee place! I love this place, always helpful, polite and friendly. Even though the cups are pretty, just wish they would offer biodegradable ones. I reuse my cup at home but let's be honest most of them go right to waste.

Yelp
Cute and quaint coffee shop with good coffee! As someone who has a little higher standards for coffee living near Seattle, the coffee here is delicious! I had the Pruvia hot coffee and Butterscotch iced coffee from the special menu that I shared with my friend. You order your coffee through the kiosk. I like that you can request to cut the caffeine in half if you're more sensitive and the different sweetness options. Both of the coffee had good flavor and body. The butterscotch coffee was perfect, creamy and not too sweet. Would definitely come back to try the other items from their menu!
google avatar

Michael T.

Yelp
Note that this refers to the milk tea shop and not the coffee shop next door which has different hours.. This place is great. The places has a very welcoming and sleek appearance with several tables and people hanging out with their friends or their laptops. There's minimal interaction with the staff, ordering takes place through a table and they simply call out your name. The tea quality and drinks are outstanding here. A notable shout out to the strawberry black milk tea, which has a solid strawberry taste and creamy texture. But no matter the drink, the beverages here are top notch and definitely earns a recommendation. One of the tea places I consistently go to, and that's saying quite a bit since I've been through many of the milk tea joints in LA as a whole. All in all, a pretty fantastic place to grab a milk tea. (And the surrounding shops are another reason to stop by as well!)
google avatar

Julia C.

Yelp
I was first introduced to Cafe Pruvia for their matcha swirl, which is so good. Their boba is good quality too. New favorite is their hojicha latte. They have milk tea, slushees, smoothies, and lattes. Next door they have more coffee options. This has become my new spot to bring my laptop and work. They have about 10 tables inside with outlets, and the crowd is usually also studying or working on something. They have 2 kiosks at the front for ordering drinks, you put your name in and they'll call your name when the drink is ready. Parking is spacious at the Pacific Square shopping center.
google avatar

Angello M.

Yelp
To all the matcha lovers out there in Gardena- You don't want to miss this one. Includes a rich matcha foam along with a well rounded matcha latte. Great working/chatting space with cool wood/marble aesthetic. Drinks are made fast with the service and theres wifi. Before a Tokyo central visit is a must.
google avatar

Ronda B.

Yelp
Tried this place out since I was in the area and wanted a refreshing tea. I wasn't a fan of the concept of placing my order on the kiosk with no customer to employee interaction. I had questions about certain drinks but couldn't ask because both the workers were tied up in making drinks. It was only a male and female working today and they seemed overwhelmed making all the orders. Definitely needs to be more help because the wait was really long, definitely not a grab and go type place for a boba milk tea. Also when you get less ice they don't fill your drink up all the way which I was disappointed. Less ice means less drink? Interesting. I bought a Thai milk tea, brown sugar milk tea and a pineapple smoothie and came out to around $20. I'll probably give this place another try and see if the service is better and a little faster. Also feel like they should be greeting you and or acknowledging you when you come in and I didn't get that. Pretty basic with so many places around like this they definitely need to step their game up.
google avatar

Maruko X.

Yelp
Ambiance: it's located in a corner spot of the plaza, ample parking spots, very spacious inside, crowded and long waiting lines Service: you place your own order through the tablet, and wait for your name to be called, it took twenty minutes to get the items Drink: variety choices for coffee and tea Passion Fruit Green Apple Tea - *** Passionfruit & green apple flavored tea, choice of jasmine tea, add lychee jelly, bold taste Matcha Swirl - **** Matcha blended smoothie, served in a whipped cream layered cup, add wiped cream and crystal boba, creamy and refreshing taste, crunchy boba, recommend Price: moderate size and pricey, and it costs about $7~$8 per drink
google avatar

Ayden P.

Yelp
Locally owned boba shop with good drinks and coffee. I recommend the Strawberry Milk Tea and Matcha Swirl! 4/5 Food: I've been here quite a few times, and it seems like the quality of the drinks may be going down. The first year I went several times to have their Matcha Swirl and Strawberry milk tea. While I would say those drinks are still good, they don't seem to be the same quality as before. Their boba was fantastic with its flavor and consistency, but that also seems to be different from before. Overall, still worth trying and going for my favorites :) Service: Their customer service is always great! Staff are friendly and the owners are kind as well. The prices have definitely gone up, but that's similar to most boba shops. Ambiance: They have great seating areas that are clean. Free wifi as well. This area has 5 boba shops in close proximity, so lots of places to choose from.
google avatar

Mai Y.

Yelp
Great place to get boba or coffee drinks after going to the grocery store or eating at Fukagawa (one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in this area). It's very spacious inside, so I saw a lot of people working on their laptops. Service was quick and people working here were friendly. You order your drink on an iPad. We ordered a matcha latte with boba and an americano. Both tasted great, and you can adjust your sugar levels here.
google avatar

Stella T.

Yelp
The best handcrafted coffee my favorite has a thick layer of cream on top and can't tell you how good it is this is my favorite coffee shop and has ample sit in space the pastries are also high quality . Lavender latte is so good as are the other tea selections ...I go every other day I am so hooked , staff is great too, go soon you will love it
google avatar

Gloria L.

Yelp
This popular cafe has a variety of coffee and boba drinks. They have several tables available to sit at but they are usually packed during the weekends making it a bit of a noisy spot for studying. They only allow one party at the register at a time, hence the lines that can be seen outside during busy times. I've tried their iced matcha latte, matcha swirl, and hot Earl grey latte. So far I've enjoyed the hot Earl grey latte most for a comforting drink followed by the matcha swirl as a cold refreshing dessert. I didn't like their matcha latte since it didn't have much of a matcha taste and was more of just milk. The drinks are pricey at $6-7 a drink after tax. I opted for almond milk in my drinks which were an additional $1 making it almost $8 for each drink. Their drinks are pretty decent depending on which one you get, but I wouldn't say it's worth the price. I enjoyed their matcha swirl and Earl grey latte but it's definitely a splurge with alternative milks.

Yelp
I am a fan of their sister boba shop; Cafe Pruvia and thus I was definitely excited to hear about the new Pruvia Coffee Bar. This place is pure heaven for coffee lovers like myself and one can find a variety of different lattes, iced drinks and cold brews on the menu. During my first visit here I chose to get one of their specials; the Shaken Spanish latte. Wow talk about one smooth coffee drink with a perfect caffeine kick. This drink is one for the books and one that will surely wake you up! If you need a little boost in the day; I highly recommend this drink. Pruvia Coffee Bar is a great spot to find rich and smooth coffee and is one that any coffee fan would love.
google avatar

Shirley W.

Yelp
I initially had Cafe Pruvia bookmarked and saw they had a Pruvia Coffee Bar right next door? Cafe Pruvia looks more of a boba shop, so it was cool that there's a coffee bar specializing in their coffee more! They seem to have more coffee options here and the vibes were on point with the coffee shop theme. All tables were filled too at the time that we went, so it must be a popular local shop! Based on both shops, it seems like the Spanish latte was their specialty drink, so I went ahead and got that one. My bf got his usual Americano. Ordering was also really easy since you can just order through the tablet, and it'll just send to the baristas. Getting the Spanish Latte, it comes in like your usual boba drink, cute! Then sipping drink, hm it didn't really taste like authentic coffee. It tasted like how a boba joint would make coffee, which it just tasted more like coffee flavored? It tasted almost like a milk tea that was coffee flavored lol. The coffee roast wasn't strong at all and the cinnamon was very subtle, I didn't even realize there was a cinnamon stick in my drink until I drank more of it. So everything in this drink just tasted very subtle. Maybe the flavors didn't bring out the taste as much? Overall, the drink was okay, it's just that it doesn't really taste like coffee. Especially if it's what you're expecting from a "coffee bar".

Yelp
I rarely drink any kind of boba or milk tea, but since I was looking for a place near by open late on a Friday night, Cafe Pruvia was it. Came in around 9 pm and it was decently crowded. You order at the counter through the machines and then they pop your drinks out 10-15 minutes later. They have a decent amount of seating inside and a few outside if desired. There are a lot of options to choose from whether it be milk teas, teas, coffees, lattes, slushes, etc. The machine has all the menu items, but also has a top 10 to choose from, which was nice. I ended up going with the passionfruit and green apple with jasmine tea. You can modify your drink when it comes to sweetness level, amount of ice, and even choose between black tea or jasmine. The cups are also very sturdy and the lids have a few options if you want to sip or use a straw. Overall, the tea was good with the jasmine having a strong flavor. The passionfruit didn't come in as much as I would've liked, but the green apple was strong. For $5.80 it wasn't bad since I know boba places usually go from $6-$7 these days. I would definitely consider trying it again.

Bryan S.

Yelp
Good drinks but if you are looking for someplace to both grab a drink and use the WIFI, this is not the place. Employee said WIFI works sometimes and not others, tried both phone and laptop. Used the next door business WIFI and it worked fine. Not surprisingly, only 3 of 10 tables occupied, 5 customers. In all fairness, what can you expect for free wifi?
google avatar

Jenny T.

Yelp
First timer here as it was nearby and ordered the matcha swirl with boba, I really liked the drink and the texture of the boba was great. It wasn't overly sweet and reminded me of a green tea Frappuccino from Starbucks. I'd come here again and try the other drinks! I subbed for oat milk because I didn't want to risk getting an upset stomach on my trip.

Kayla T.

Yelp
Cafe pruvia is one of my go-to coffee shops/boba places in the South bay area! It is located in a big shopping plaza (Pacific Square) with lots of other restaurants and stores. Inside there is plenty of seating and even some tables outside. I really enjoy their indoor seating and would often go there to study since they have so many tables, it would get pretty crowded though so sometimes I would have to find another place to go. The quality of service has gone down a bit since they first opened but they offer a kiosk where you can order yourself now which is very convenient when they get busy. The employees are usually very nice and helpful but sometimes the drinks can take a bit longer than before. My favorite drinks are the matcha latte and their fruit teas! I usually get the mango or peach green tea. I'm not a big fan of their boba because they use the mini boba so I usually steer clear and stick to the matcha latte. Overall I definitely recommend Cafe Pruvia and am always satisfied with my orders!
google avatar

Sheila W.

Yelp
I happened to be in the area so I stopped by for coffee. They are not open all day and have specific times. I ordered a matcha latte with oat milk. It's was rich and earthy with bold bean coffee. The inside a set up like a bar with seats around the barista and a few tables. They had a few pastries to purchase. The service was ok but nothing stood out. It's a place to get coffee or tea.
google avatar

Therese G.

Yelp
Gung Hay Fat Choy! The luck of the new year brought me here! The soft opening of Cafe Pruvia is happening today. I really came for the Taro Swirl, unaware that this is a new annex adjacent to the to the original which is dedicated solely to coffee drinks. The new classy addition has dark espresso paneled walls with galley seating and a standing bar. More good luck! There is a 2 for 1 drink special for the opening! I ordered the Mocha with medium roasted beans and oat milk. The mocha had a slight cinnamon undertone and was mellow in flavor. My second drink was an Iced Lavender Matcha Latte with oat milk. I loved the hearty matcha flavor lightly laced with a slightly floral lavender, albeit it was quite sweet. The baristas were friendly and definitely on their game despite the long line. I wish Cafe Pruvia much luck on their new endeavor!
google avatar

Hailey L.

Yelp
Solid boba, plus a good spot to study or hang out! I got a Jasmine milk tea 75% sweet with boba. This was perfect sweetness, and I appreciate that the tea flavor comes through strong but not overwhelming. The boba was soft but not mushy, which was good. You order on the kiosk tablets which are convenient, so they do not accept cash, but you can still get your receipt printed if you want. Their bathroom was currently out of order which was inconvenient, so if you do need it, there is a Japanese market right by in the plaza. There is a decent sized parking lot for free parking, which was great since we were able to stay and study fora while since they have a number of tables that make it good to come by yourself or up to 4-5 people. The vibe is pretty simple, modern, and clean. They also have a few shirts they sell as well. Service is also okay, they are nice and our drinks came out pretty fast. Good boba place we like!

Yelp
Cafe Pruvia is a great place to study. The wifi is consistent and there's plenty of seating, which gets really busy during the weekends. But overall, great place to sit and concentrate (as long as you don't mind crowds). The coffee/drinks is pretty normal and standard. I can't say very much about it.
