Great burgers 🍔 in a cozy atmosphere. The cafe is in a old house style. A variety of craft beers 🍻 can be founded here. Food came quickly, service fast when I visited. The cafe is popular, so it is recommended to make a reservation for special occasions. The staff friendly. They offer lunch every weekday, includes soup, bread and dessert. Vegetarian options available.

Super value. Great options for food. We were there for lunch, and decided to go for the buffet. Not only was that great value, but it was also very tasty and the quality of everything was great. The staff were nice and the place was nice and clean. Great overall.

The burger needed a bit more salt, the salt on the fries were uneven, but they were good. I guess it’s a bit of a overrated place for what they deliver. Not a bad experience, but I was expecting more. It’s usually very crowded so go with time to wait for the food.

I was in Oulu for 3 nights and I went to Cafe Rooster for every one of them. The first night I ordered a pulled pork burger and it was fantastic. I had checked their website and saw a long list of beers. When I asked for the second one on my list the server said they didn't have it, so it's probably downstairs. I had no idea there was an additional pub downstairs, which had an amazing selection of beers on tap. Thus my need to come back the next two days to continue trying them. I decided to be a little healthier the next days, as I had a goat cheese salad and then a salmon salad. I even went in for lunch one day and had a mozzarella foccacia sandwich and pumpkin spice latte (which was quite the treat). Highly recommend Cafe Rooster for both food and drinks!

Excellent service , food very good. We had the chicken pita and the goats cheese burger. Both super tasty and big portions. We were offered lemon and blueberry water which was lovely . Atmosphere very cosy if a little cold when the front door opened.

Good burgers, and excellent service. Bathrooms are very hard to reach and when the pub is open and packed, going to the bathroom isn't that quick anymore.

Very cozy and welcoming, with great service every time. The cakes are some of the nicest you can find in Oulu. The burgers are excellent, although a bit on the heavy side and could use some lighter salsas or sauces instead of mayo to balance that out. Really friendly vibes downstairs at the pub too! Ps. Try the portobello burger, it's bursting with flavor.

I've dinner here and it was so good that I came back the day after to taste another burger. Honestly, the pulled pork is very good. Nice place to eat with collegues, family or friends, people are smart food is fresh and prices are ok. I recommand this place if you like good burger! You can see the blue cheese burger version on pictures (with chips, but you can also choose salade)

Everything is okay EXCEPT the pull-pork burger. One guy in our party didn't want to touch the pull-pork because it was awful. We had no problem with lohiburger (salmon), fish and chips (finnish style) and normal burger.
