"Whenever we walk into Cafe Roval’s backyard, we always pause for a few seconds to silently take the whole thing in. It’s a moment of quiet appreciation usually only reserved for mountain peaks or a perfectly ripe avocado. But Cafe Roval demands that reaction, no matter if it’s your first or 50th visit. photo credit: Tasty Planet Their outdoor space is lush and dense with dozens of different plants and trees all bordering a man-made lagoon. It looks like the home of an alligator that won the lottery, or if the Everglades had a baby with a tiki bar. There is truly no other restaurant in Miami quite like this. And even though the food is just OK and even a little boring at times, that’s really why you should come here. Cafe Roval is a Mediterranean spot on the border of Mimo and Little Haiti, and its original limestone building has been standing since 1923, which makes it quite a relic in an area where anything from the ’50s is considered historic. The restaurant features some perfectly fine indoor seating, but as far as we’re concerned, the only excuse for not sitting outside is a plague of locusts or if birds have started attacking people like in that Alfred Hitchcock movie. photo credit: Tasty Planet The menu is a slightly chaotic mix of Mediterranean staples and seafood, with everything from lamb ribs and gnocchi to tuna crudo. And while none of it is bad, there isn’t anything that’s particularly memorable either. This place is so damn gorgeous that it’s best just to take your time with some snacks, have some riesling, and see how many different species of plants your table can identify. Get the crudo, which comes with some tempura crisps for scooping and a little quail egg you can mix into everything. The beef shawarma is really tender and is served DIY-style, so everyone can make their own little pita with their ideal mix of tahini and tomato. And the crispy squash blossoms are tasty, thanks mostly to the very good tamarind chutney you will probably end up dipping everything else you ordered into. But drinks and food are just background players at Cafe Roval, which we know is a strange thing to say about a restaurant. But even a great menu or a perfect avocado or the very top of a reasonably tall mountain would have trouble outshining a space like this. Food Rundown Lamb Ribs You know that slow-motion footage of tender meat falling off the bone that plays in your head when you hear the words “ribs?” That doesn’t happen with these. Each bite is either too dry or pure fat. Squash Blossoms Fried flowers is not only a great name for a high school garage band, but it happens to be one of the best dishes here. The blossoms are crispy and come in a tamarind chutney, which is a little heavy but good. Tuna Crudo This is a tasty crudo and it comes with tempura crisps and a decapitated quail egg so you can plop the yolk down yourself. But the bed of arugula underneath is a little unnecessary and tags along like an annoying little brother when you try to scoop up the tuna. Charred Carrots These are pretty underwhelming, mostly because they’re not charred at all. This is obvious even underneath all the bland spiced greek yogurt sauce. Beef Shawarma This is the best starter here. The beef is well-seasoned and sliced thin, but the real winner is the pita: three warm, soft little triangles with a healthy sprinkle of za’atar. There is also hummus under the beef, which isn’t on the menu but we rarely get mad at surprise hummus. Sea Scallops If you needed to calibrate a scallop scale, you could use these to find the perfect middle. There are three of them (with some boring lentils) and they are, indeed, scallops - nothing more and nothing less. Only get them if you woke up this morning and said, “I must have scallops today or else I will explode.” Deboned Yellow Snapper It’s a good piece of fish but won’t blow you away. The skin could be crispier and the farro tabbouleh underneath feels like the Mother’s Day card you buy at CVS when you wake up and realize that today is Mother’s Day. Creamy Gnocchi When you read the menu, the most exciting part of this dish sounds like the Maine lobster and black truffle, but the lobster is placed in unsexy chunks around the side of the plate like someone remembered about it at the last second and the truffle is really nowhere to be tasted. Even the pretty good gnocchi can’t make up for shattered expectations." - Ryan Pfeffer

Always amazingly delicious!!! One of the most romantic atmospheres, with beautiful gardens, the ambiance is absolutely dreamy!!! The food is creative, delicious, and always perfectly prepared. Absolutely love this place and is my favorite place for SHORT RIBS!!! They make them smoked & tender as can be... and they come out on a giant bone (my dog loves them for this!!!)... service is good, friendly and attentive.

Google
Wonderful atmosphere, service and food. Its tiny and pesonable in a city full of big modern restaurants. A real gem that seems to be popular by word of mouth. The food was outstanding but the highlights for me were the smoked short rib and grilled octopus. Both were cooked perfectly. Perfect for date night.

Google
I had the beef short rib, which was smoky and sweet and my wife had salmon, which was light and creamy. The service staff was very attentive and the music and mood is relaxing and laid back but not dull. The ambiance of the pond adds beauty to everything. With most seating outdoors you'll want to go when the weather is nice.

This restaurant is an excellent choice for a dinner date. The outside seating surrounds a small pond with a tiny fountain, plenty of greenery and dim lighting creating a romantic ambiance. They also have indoor seating with a robust, medieval look to it. I came here for an anniversary dinner around sunset time which added to the nice scenery in the outdoor seating. They had decorated our table with a cute sign wishing us a happy anniversary and the waiters were also very kind and wished us well. Cameron (I believe that was his name, tall ginger with freckles) was accommodating and very polite. They have a versatile menu including Italian cuisine, sea food, meats and Indian platters. The mezze platter is great to start off and share. My favorite appetizers were the grilled octopus and salmon carpaccio. The smoked short rib is a MUST. ALL the food is cooked perfectly. They have peculiar drinks with Strawberry Fields being one of my favorite cocktails. To finish off, their desserts have a pretty unique taste but there is not a lot of options to choose from. Cafe Roval is overall charming for a great price.

Google
Most romantic place in Miami ! Not only is the food amazing but the atmosphere is so serene. When you walk in it doesn’t even look like a restaurant, it is such a home feel. Then you walk into this tranquil garden of outdoor seating that is beautifully lite with relaxing music and a gorgeous pond. Inside looks like a coral castle beautiful all around. Then if you walk all the way to the back it transforms into a beautiful beach tiki hut environment. The service was amazing, all workers were very kind and attentive. Refined menu with a small selection (chef mastered). From appetizers, entrees, and Deserts, they all blew my taste buds away. This is definitely an amazing spot for a romantic date! It is quiet, has delicious food, and a soft lite nature filled atmosphere.

Google
Great restaurant hidden in the heart of Little Haiti, Miami. This an excellent option for a romantic dinner! They have a beautiful garden, so seating outside is a very good idea, but the interior of the restaurant is also very cozy, it is up to you to decide, or go more than once to seat outside and inside. Food is really great, I had the sirloin steak with roasted potatoes and my wife had the creamy gnochi with black truffle, both were spectacular!

Yelp
A hidden Mediterranean gem in Miami . This place is one of a kind. Must start by mentioning the ambiance is just breathtaking. The natural foliage and coral rock walls in the outdoors is beautiful. The decor inside is breathtaking. Couldn't decide if to sit inside or outside because how pretty it is Let's get to the most important part- the food. Very impressed with the presentation and delicious taste. The service was A +++ They were very attentive to detail And making sure we were well attended. My boyfriend and my daughter took me here for my birthday and I must say it was an unforgettable dining experience. I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Cool spot with great food and ambiance! However, we had a frustrating experience with the wine. My friend and I ordered the house Sauvignon Blanc but were instead offered a bottle, which should have been $39. Our partners tried ordering the house red, but they were out--at least they told us that upfront. When the check came, we were surprised to see we were charged $65 per bottle for both the red and white. We brought up that the white should have been the house wine price, but the waiter insisted we never ordered the house option. Other than that, the food and vibe were solid, but I'd definitely double-check your drink charges.

Yelp
Definitely an oasis in an unexpecting spot! We had reservations on a Friday night and it was empty, however, I thought it might be due to the gusty and stormy weather, however, it seems others have had similar experience. They kept entertainment which was a violinist. I must say, they definitely put a lot of effort and attention to their guests. We started off with htipiti which was great followed by the Greek salad. Both were flavorful. The wine selection was weak and I believe there was only one option, either red or white, for a glass. We had chicken shish for the appetizer which was also flavorful but I felt the appetizers were better than the entrees. I would say the menu is not that expansive. Overall, service was good. For me, the best part of the experience was the ambiance, it's a large property and they offer hookah in the back as well.

Cathy O.

Yelp
We had the most amazing lunch here! First of all, it's exotic inside and out. Be sure to go out back for some photos. We ordered lots of dishes, and each one was sooo good. Check out all the Yelp pictures and know that YES, the food is as good as it looks. Our server was fun, there was parking, and I think they even have belly dancers once a month or so.

Grisel D.

Yelp
This place is a remarkable hidden gem. The ambiance is top tier. The service was fantastic and the food was to die for. We ordered the fish stew, hummus, and calamari. The portions were plentiful. The have a delicious white wine sangria that is so refreshing! It has huge chunks of strawberries in it. You must try the in house made baklava. This is the most delicious one I've ever had. However, the fish stew was absolutely flavorful and filled with chunks of seafood of all kinds. It fed both of us alongside the appetizers we ordered.

Yelp
We visited Zoi on a Saturday night to celebrate our anniversary, but unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to expectations. It is a very nice place inside and the outside looks beautiful but it was just very hot to sit outdoors that night. Even though the restaurant was nearly empty--just us inside and a small party outside--the service was slow. We ordered a sampler appetizer with hummus, Shakshuka, tzatziki, and another dip that I honestly can't even remember. The Shakshuka was the only standout; the rest was just mediocre. At one point, we needed more pita for the dips but couldn't get our waiter's attention. He was sitting at the front of the restaurant eating with other employees, which was disappointing. When our sautéed mushrooms finally arrived, we asked the server who brought them for more pita, and thankfully, it came out quickly. The mushrooms were fine, but nothing special. We didn't order anything else and left shortly after. Sadly, this experience wasn't what we were hoping for, and we won't be returning.

Yelp
My friends and I came today for their Miami Spice lunch. It did not disappoint. The staff were lovely, friendly and Turkish to boot. I used to have an apartment in Turkey many years ago and reminisced of my time travelling through Turkey. It reminded me of that culture. Inside the restaurant we had a wonderful round wooden table set up for our party. We were made to feel special. We were not rushed in anyway. We were told that as we were a party of five, we should try ALL on the Miami spice menu to get a good all round experience and would be able to savour everything. So, we agreed. It was a wonderful feast of homely food that hit the spot. I loved the decor inside the restaurant and appreciated the historical element of the old Pump House. Being English I miss cultural history. The decor inside was gorgeous. The gardens outside were pretty and I would imagine they are magical at nighttime. The service as sweet, friendly and personable. The food did not disappoint. I recommend. Being an artist, I believe photos speak for themselves, so enjoy my pictures!

Yelp
A unique outdoor dining experience that is beautiful at sunset. We enjoyed a Pix fixe 3-course dinner event that sampled across the menu. Appetizers - Chef's Selection: chtipiti, tzatziki, hummus, kopoglu, with moderately charred pita. the mezzes were very good but would have been excellent if the pita had been a little better. Wine: We were advised a few times that we would only receive "2 glasses of wine" with the meal. Cool. However, when given the choice it was "red or white". When questioned a little further on what kind of white wine, we were told "white!" It was fair and didn't desire to drink more than the allotted amount. My table partner was a little more blunt, saying "It's not good." Main Entree: Had a mixed platter of chicken, lamb, roasted vegetables and white pilaf style rice, along with a platter of fish, I believe Branzino. the fish was excellent, and the chick and lamb were flavorful but a bit dry. Dessert: Small bite-sized Baklava that was excellent. Of the two negative experiences, the milder was the server, specifically, the one that seemed to be the manager, was brusk in tone and temperament, which is ok... not a deal breaker. It was surprising but not terrible. - The second incident was more uncomfortable. One diner, who had specified early that she wanted a vegetarian option, and they said they could easily provide "no problem". I am not a vegan/ vegetarian but I empathize with food preferences. However, it was clear that she was served a meaty sauce with pasta. The diner confirmed with our table her suspicions and we were all in agreement that it looked meaty. The staff replaced the plate and the next dish clearly was different and appeared meatless. Overall, beautiful venue, with great outdoor space, good food, brusk service, and mediocre wine.

Yelp
I loved the place, very nice, the atmosphere was cozy, the service was spectacular, the waiter was attentive to us the whole time, the food was exquisite, the starters were abundant and delicious, the fish was fresh, the lamb was cooked to perfection, the cheesecake we ordered for dessert was very delicious and the cherry on the cake was the bellydancer. The restaurant has a parking lot. I recommend it 100%

Yelp
We had such high hopes for this place and was left seriously disappointed. It had been on my list for so long I was eager to try. In a nutshell- the 2 stars are for the drinks (all wine based) and the ambiance. The restaurant and outdoor patio are simply stunning. Now to everything else. It was mediocre at best. We arrive on a Friday night around 9 pm and the hostess immediately tells us we could not be seated because it was an hour wait and we didn't have a reservation. You could clearly see the restaurant was not full. We go to Open Table and what do you know? Multiple openings for that time frame. We book it and other gentleman seats us. The host, looking surprised, comes back stuttering on her words saying they just had cancellation so we could be seated. Already turned off at this point but again this has been on my list for a long time. The service was terrible. It took forever for the food to come out and you could look around the restaurant and most tables didn't have food. We were told it was because we ordered the branzino which takes a while but it was close to a 1 hour wait and other tables waited just as long with no branzino. When I food finally came, items were missing and we had to remind the server to check for other food. We also had to wait extremely long for her to check on us or bring the check. Once we got the check even longer to pay. Lastly, the food. Meh! Absolutely no flavor. From the video and pictures I thought everything would be divine. The octopus was gummy, the branzino was terrible and we were having to spit out bones every bite. The lemon potatoes were ok but nothing I would order again.

Katelin K.

Yelp
Zoi has a gorgeous patio. This is a perfect spot for a date night. The food is great and staff is very friendly. We shared the dip sampler and lamb platter and both were very good. Be proactive and ask for double pita when ordering the sampler because you won't want to stop eating the dips.

Nicole G.

Yelp
Went to Zoi for solo dinner on a Friday night and enjoyed my experience. The restaurant itself is gorgeous. It's an unassuming building, but when you step in fully to the restaurant, the spectacular backyard reveals itself. Service was good... Since I was dining alone, I felt like they were really keeping pace with me, but not rushing. I ordered a side order of the mushroom sautee and a side order of the white rice, as well as the grilled octopus hot mezze. The food was good (I would not call it great) - the flavors were yummy, but the food wasn't served hot and it was a big overpriced. With that said, the simplest dish - the white rice - had a nutty, buttery flavor to it, so highly recommend! You definitely come here for the atmosphere - it's a gorgeous, romantic restaurant - great date night spot! Parking was easy - there is plenty of street parking. My meal + (1) glass of house wine with tip included was $70.

Diana M.

Yelp
We ordered bunch of appetizers and they were all delicious! Lots of hummus options with different veggies purée. The grilled octopus was cooked perfectly and the calamari was nice and crispy. Everyone enjoyed their fried cheese as well. The beef kebab was melting in my mouth! The owner Sonny was really friendly and kept coming to check in on us. The outdoor and indoor had a romantic ambiance and very chill atmosphere, it was perfect for us! They also have parking on the side which was convenient.

Kosta G.

Yelp
This is by far one of my favorites restaurants in Miami. Highly recommend it, not only if you like VIP treatment but also exquisite Turkish meals. I've been to this location dozens of times and we had our corporate Xmas party here last weekend. What a classy spot surrounded by exotic greenery and lush ambiance. 10/10 all around...

Alexa R.

Yelp
I am not sure why this place was empty, maybe because it was a Tuesday, but I enjoyed my date night experience at Zoi! The ambiance is perfect. Sit outside to indulge in a view of the overhead trees and a small lake. Very unique outdoor patio that feels like you are transported to another country. The food was a bit overpriced for what it was. The tzatziki was refreshing, but a bit small, especially for its price. The seafood alfredo pasta was okay but not life-changing. The scenery was just beautiful, but the food was decent. The service was slow and we had to flag down our waiter multiple times. We waited half an hour to order and the restaurant was empty. Didn't really mind but just slightly annoying. It's also worth mentioning that there is free parking for lunch & dinner.

Juan Z.

Yelp
Ufffff went there for a bday celebration of a family member and it's a pretty pretty cool spot awesome ambiance the associates are super attentive and the food wow really good ask for the fried cheese with a hint of spice I mean wow tasted great, one small thing they only have beer and wine not whisky or even sambuca which would go really good for an after meal drink. Their food all of them tasted great better than great.

Kelin X.

Yelp
One of my go-to Mediterranean restaurants in Miami. It's just a very unique location with both indoor and outdoor dining areas. Very romantic sitting by the pond with lights on. Food was amazing, along with excellent service. Highly recommend it.

Lilly G.

Yelp
Painfully generic food with an even worse presentation, we were actually catfished (please go look at the pictures on their online menu then at these...) Convinced they seat a majority of everyone in the garden to distract themselves that they just spent $17 on pre-portioned bland mezze. Felt like we were sat in the far back because of how we were dressed / looked.. The kind of restaurant that thinks it's fancier than it is. Unenthusiastic waitstaff that would literally want to do anything but serve you. Another stupid restaurant that Miami doesn't need.. they have plenty already.

Yi H.

Yelp
The place does not feel like miami! It feels you are somewhere else in another country maybe, I can't place it but it is different. For a stone house converted into a restaurant is pretty nice. You must sit outside to look at this view, otherwise inside feels a little bit different than the atmosphere that you get outside. I would like to say that the food was amazing but for what it is, which is Mediterranean food it wasn't as impressive. The presentation of the food was great. The service was pleasant and professional, but I don't think I will come back.

Merle S.

Yelp
The lovely tranquil garden atmosphere was a great discovery in this restaurant, in addition to their tasty and delicious mediterranean food at this hidden gem in Miami. The service was prompt and attentive. Would highly recommend, especially for large parties. Their backyard space seems endless. We can't wait to go back with more friends!!

Michelle L.

Yelp
Fantastic Turkish restaurant! We decided to spend our NYE here and it was everything and more. Smooth happy service, great food and ambiance, fire dancers and other entertainment, a DJ and champagne toast! No prefixed menu so we could order a la carte. We had a fantastic time sitting outside in their beautiful courtyard. I hadn't been here since it was Cafe Roval. Food is high quality and great service. I recommend the Branzino, fig Salad, and baklava! Do try their Turkish Tea. It warmed us up real nice. I highly recommend!

Natalie T.

Yelp
Ambience and service was so so so lovely it pains me to say I truly just did not enjoy the food whatsoever. Maybe the kitchen was having a bad night and there are other fantastic things on the menu but it just missed the mark completely for me. The portions were ridiculous for the price and my lamb was still very raw. The space is incredible and staffed with incredibly kind people. I hope they improve their menu and dishes because I would love to be back and give it another shot.

Michelle G.

Yelp
Worst restaurant experience ever. We were moved twice from the tables they put us in, then waited 2.5 hours for our food. They overbooked; 3 big events, while also trying to juggle regular customers. Different music coming from different places. We were only compensated with a discount and free dessert after strongly voicing our dissatisfaction. One of our appetizers never came. It later arrived with the entree. When the food arrived, the rice was cold. When the desserts came they brought us 3 plates, it was 6 of us. They said they ran out of plates. It was awful from beginning to end. Absolute mismanagement and greediness by this establishment and biting off more than they can chew.

Maegan R.

Yelp
ZOI is a vibe! We got hookah and sat beyond the trees, it was a Tulum vibe. They are super accommodating and the service was some of the best I've experienced. Everything we had was delicious. The cocktails are made with wine. I was scared to try at first but it was a nice switch up and they were delish! We did the Miami Spice menu, and even came back twice lol. Really enjoyed the hummus as well as the baklava!

Vanessa A.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant. Aesthetically pleasing. Beautiful outdoor seating with pond. Definitely a photo-op instagram-able setting. Now the food .. we ordered the Kopoglu, Sea Bass Carpaccio. Both were okay. Two of us got the Adana Kebab and the third got the seafood Alfredo. Our kebab was extremely dry and not well seasoned. I LOVE purple onions, but these were not it. The seafood Alfredo was indeed very flavorful. Dessert was Baklava ... PURE SUGAR. Sugar was all crystallized. Service, was inattentive. Not welcoming.

Anna F.

Yelp
Zoi has food and service that complement its specatucalar setting. The restaurant is a transformed coral house with a nature-inspired setting. At its center is a small pond with a waterfall. It gives the locale a serene ambiance. I ordered the house red wine, which was surprisingly luscious. We tried several of the dips: hummus, tzatziki, roasted beet, and muhamarra. My favorite was the roasted beet. What a wonderful, unique flavor! For my entree, I had the fig salad with shrimp. The shrimp were large and perfectly grilled. The salad was crisp and the sweetness from the fig was a delicious touch. Our server, Oguzhan, did an amazing job of taking care of us. We were celebrating a birthday and were quite a large group. It was impressive how he made sure we always had what we needed and wanted. I am looking forward to returning to repeat this wonderful experience at Zoi!

Donnalyn B.

Yelp
Tried their Miami Spice menu and it was amazing! Very generous hummus portions and the chicken kebab was delicious. The garden/pond view is very relaxing and love that they have a little cat onsite. Would definitely come back!

Lola L.

Yelp
My family and I were amazed by your restaurant when we celebrated my grandmother's birthday there last Saturday. The food and service were outstanding, and the atmosphere was incredible. We especially enjoyed the live music from the talented violinist and Turkish singer, which elevated the night to a whole new level. I would like to know if you have live music every day.

Samantha M.

Yelp
3 stars for the service We were seated immediately on a Sunday night with reservations but the waiter took at least 15 minutes to get to us after we flagged him down. The waiter didn't even ask how we were doing or anything just simply asked what he can get for us without even looking up from his device. Seemed very impersonal and we expected way more out of the service based on how much we were paying and the automatic gratuity. Food was great! Loved the beef and salmon! The restaurant was also stunning! Great ambiance and views. If it wasn't for the service we would definitely be back.

victor s.

Yelp
Who was that notice no one at the door didn't notice us we waited 45 minutes to be seated they ask us for reservation I gave them my name and they couldn't find her name but other people was being seated we were still waiting at the bar we tried to order a drink from the bartender for the bartender doesn't even speak English I don't think anybody in this establishment speak English the feeling that we got was pure racism it made it to the song comfortable my daughter started crying because she was hungry they completely ignore us when we ask for the manager he was exactly like the rest of the place useless on experience that we have no clue of running a restaurant we're in America how can you have employees that does not speak a word of English it's obviously that these were illegal co-workers without working papers it's so sad but it's against the law and we will report them six disgusting feeling but we went to the restaurant next door for chica and that was amazing service and I'm glad we left I will never come back to such a disgusting place like this

Maryam K.

Yelp
Another neighborhood gem! We used to dine here when it was cafe roval and was really bummed to see it close down during the pandemic but thankfully it's reopened I'm assuming under a new owner. Walking in I definitely liked the new decor and ambience. The service was amazing. We were greeted by the hostess immediately and even though we were 30mins early for our reservations we were seated right away. Shout out to Karo G our server who was amazing! Her energy was contagious and she made our dining experience that much better. She gave us honest recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed. She let us know there is a hookah lounge in the back of the restaurant and even offered to move our dessert there if we wanted. We ended up having dessert and more wine while we smoked hookah. The hookah experience was amazing. I loved the service and the vibe. Definitely worth ending the dining experience there.

Yelp
Fantastic and carefully crafted food at Zoi. Previously, Cafe Roval, Zois take on Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine is simple yet elegant. Every dish was memorable. More importantly, flavors were on point. For our party of 6, really 4 adults and 2 kids, we had 4 appetizers and 5 entrees. The appetizers were on the small side so it helped that the pita bread filled us up a little bit. Pita bread was very soft and chewy though. The muhammara red bell pepper dip was nutty and sweet. The hummus was smooth and creamy. Shakshuka had a lot of flavor and the crispy eggplants on top really gave it a roasted flavor. Grilled octopus was sooo tender and lightly charred. Not chewy at all. More melt in your mouth. It reminded me of fresh octopus from Greece. Now for the entrees. We did family style, hence the large meat platter. Everything had a slight smoky flavor to it. But all so incredibly tender. The adana kebap - lamb skewer- was soo delish and slightly spicy. That's why we had two orders of it. The chicken was very juicy and lamb chops were melt in your mouth. We also had two orders of the lamb chops. I enjoyed a side order of mushrooms too. Some tips, if you sit outside, there's a lovely pond. However, if you attract mosquitos, it is best you sit inside or put on some mosquito repellant. In addition, this is a nice venue. It's romantic and intimate. It's not to loud either. So if you want to be rowdy or be seen, this might not be the place for you. If you have a large appetite but short pockets, this too may not be a good fit for you. Our bill was large but the staff was so friendly and accommodating with the kids, and food was so good that it was ok. Lastly, there's an open parking lot nearby. There's also paid and unpaid street parking. Let's keep this small family business open! Give it a go!

Yelp
ZOI is an excellent hidden little gem in the middle of Miami. Very romantic at night with a table for two. As a mediterranean person from south of France, I liked the staff, they are nice, very friendly and I felt like home. The grilled octopus is amazing and the full grilled sea bass was just delicious and well prepared. Also, they have this little old cat, named Zoi, and she is a little love full of affection, she stayed with us for the starter and then went to the front. I was able to keep some sea bass for her and the owner was totally happy for me to offer her. Romantic night in a beautiful restaurant.

Yelp
Cute restaurant with romantic outdoor seating area. We ordered several items including the lamb chops, branzino & trio of Mediterranean dips. Everything we ordered was pleasing, but the Branzino was by far my favorite. The waiter also had good wine recommendations as this restaurant does not serve liquor / cocktails. The outdoor space if big enough for an intimate wedding / wedding reception as their was one taking place during dinner.

Yelp
So I posted a review on google and had to come here because I need to spread the word So I want to come on here and say it's just a pretty place to come and eat "sub par Mediterranean" food and I was so disappointed. I got the chef's special and it had no taste and the lamb kabob tasted like it came from the Burger King kitchen. The drinks and atmosphere are a redeeming quality but please research another place to go eat. Be wary of the TikTok places despite high reviews.

Yelp
Hands down best restaurant/lounge I've been to! I wish I could post 10-star because this place is one of the best spots we visited. Start with the service A++++, we had Valerios as out waiter and he was amazing, amicable service and food was amazing! Their greek salad and desserts were top notch quality. He was super attentive and didnt miss a beat. He made our experience amazing! And the night could not be complete without Johnny! He provided literally the BEST hookah ive ever had, such smooth flavors and they lasted hours. He worked his magic creating mixes of flavor that were amazing. The atmosphere was classy and so beautiful. It truly is MUST see place while in miami!

Yelp
To start on a positive note, the ambiance was charming, the live entertainment with the violinist and belly dancer was very nice!! However, the experience quickly went downhill from there. The service was disorganized, waiters were all Over the places and lost, our waiter barely greeted us. He didn't explain the menu and brought the wrong bottle of wine, twice, blaming it on the bartender. When we asked questions about the dishes, he couldn't offer any clear answers. The food itself was underwhelming and overpriced, lacking any standout qualities. To top it off, my boyfriend had arranged for a birthday cake to celebrate my special day, but what arrived was a disappointing scoop of plain Greek yogurt with a few nuts and honey on top. Overall, this was a terrible experience. There are so many better Mediterranean places you can try, don't let them fool you with a cute picture on their website. Between the poor service, mediocre food, and the absurd attempt at a birthday treat, I'll definitely never return.

Yelp
I was sad when the former place closed down so when I saw that the restaurant was open under a new name, I stopped by to check it out. The place is as beautiful if not more beautiful than before. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The garden outdoor is a romantic dream. The Mediterranean cuisine was on point. The calamari was delicious, the cheese saganki is a must and the shrimp saganaki was flavorful and delicious. I had the red sangria which was sweet and delicious. They have a spot for hookah and drinks if you feel like lounging that is just as lush and beautiful. Can't wait to come back and try more.

Yelp
We used to frequent this spot when it was Roval and we were soooo bummed when it closed but Zoi under new management DID NOT disappoint. Our service was stellar, our food was delish and everything we loved about the restaurant before is still there. Beautiful outdoor setting in a lush garden with koi ponds and a neighborhood kitty roaming around; could not have asked for a better night.

Yelp
I had a reservation that I made 10 days in advance for 11 people, which was for November 23 at 8:30 PM to celebrate my husband's birthday. Two hours before the reservation, I received a confirmation email. When we arrived at the venue, they said they did not have the reservation (how can they forget a reservation for 11 people?). When we showed them the confirmation, they said they would arrange a table for us. After waiting for an hour standing at the door, with no one attending to us--not even a hostess--people just walked past us. After trying to speak with the manager three times, who never showed up, we decided to leave for another restaurant in Brickell (Salty Flame, which was really good, and they helped us with our celebration). At Zoi, they never asked if we wanted to wait at the bar or if they could accommodate us elsewhere; they just left us stranded at the entrance as if we didn't exist. We asked who could resolve the situation, and they left us talking to ourselves. Don't waste your time going to this place; I was shocked by the poor service. People arrived, and there was no one to attend to them. I say this because I have experience in the field, having been a manager for several years at bars and nightclubs. Terrible place.there was my first and definitely my last time there

Yelp
This Greek spot is killer, especially with its outside vibe - seriously, it's like a green paradise out there, super welcoming and beautiful. And the food? Top-notch! It's not just about the eats; it's the whole awesome experience. We ordered all the dips as starters (tzatziki, hummus, shakshuka) and the branzino is a must Super easy parking and free, right next to their local.

Yelp
I was a fan of how pretty the restaurant is, it definitely has LOTS of potential but felt it was portrayed of something we didn't get. To start of, it was quite empty on a Saturday night. We expected music, belly dancers, a show, but none of this happened while we were there, it's in fact a chill place where you can hear frogs if you sit next to the little lake and that had me freaking out / distracted the whole dinner. The food was OK. I guess I'm really picky since I'm middle eastern and my family's cooking is the real deal, but it wasn't horrible. Attention was good, but then again the place was fairly empty so that's expected. The hookah service in the back was great. Johnny was super nice and attentive to our hookah. I guess we expected to dine and smoke hookah, but the hookah is in the far back once you are done with dinner... understandable but not what it was shown on Tik Tok, IG, etc. it lacks a better experience. Closes at midnight on the dot- so maybe not the place you'd want to come and hang out all night.

Yelp
Went there on a weekend night and sat outside in the back in this patio area. Nice layout / picturesque. The food was average to not good. Greek salad had no or very little dressing (just the cucumber and tomato put together seemed like), the chicken was just ok / cooked well but minimal flavor. The lamb still on bone was not tasty. Service was ok. Had to ask another server for the check. The timing was off there was zero music the whole time we were there, but a few seconds after we got up they put Arabic music on and entertainment started...

Yelp
The photos on their website and instagram are not what you are served. We had a very nice waiter - however the quality of the food was terrible. I.e. we ordered the shrimp saganaki and instead of getting fresh langoustines as featured in the website and instagram we got the shrimp that is in a shrimp cocktail with some tomato sauce. The kebab was similar. The meat was ok but instead of the fresh pita shown on all photos (that one would look forward at a Turkish restaurant) it was paired with a wheat wrap readily at Publix. The location is cool - I brought my fiancé here because he used to love Cafe Roval. However, if the dishes continue to be this bad - I don't see much of a future for this restaurant.

Yelp
This place is a constant success. My number 1 come back to place. Impeccable food by Ozgur Chef and flawless servise by Sonny. The perfect combo for a delightful Turkish food night.

Yelp
Absolutely lovely restaurant ambience is fantastic. Sat outside by the water, all the waiters were fantastic and so pleasant and the food was just exceptionally wonderful. I will definitely be back.

Yelp
Very nice aesthetic in a non-descript restaurant nestled back in the cut. The night we went, the restaurant had just lost its liquor license. So to say the least our night out with friends for drinks and dinner was a bit ruined. We decided to buy a bottle of wine and order food. The food was nothing special and pretty much everything we ordered came out cold and incorrect. To top it off one of my friends found a tooth pick in her food. The manager Rifei decided to give us a free dessert for our troubles, but that was the extent of his help. We will not give this place a second chance.
