Cafe Royale Gangtok

This cafe provides great food for a reasonable price. Most of the preparation like chili pork, fried rice, momo are great. The decor is all great. Service needs improvement. it's very slow. Overally a great place to eat for tourists and a great hangout place.

The ambiance of the cafe was good. There is a live performance setup. The food tasted great, but the service was a bit slow.

Exquisite place along with luscious food, 10 min walk from MG mark, loved mushroom chilli and pizza at this place. Owner as well as staff members are quite friendly. You won’t regret coming to this place. The ambiance is awesome at this place. Sometime bands do perform at this place. Being a coffee person I would definitely ask you to try coffee at this place too.

First time and later I had visited for couple of times in Café Royale and It’s the cutest little spot with amazing food and delightful ambiance. Food, Music and Service are really great. Every staff members are helpful and friendly. The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.

Nice atmosphere and tasty cakes. Pork chops for dinner was delicious and pizza was nice too. A bit out of the way but worth the visit for healthy varieties of food.

Service was awful. Staff was extremely reluctant to work and also very unfriendly. Worst cafe/restaurant, I've been to in all India. Several items from the menu were not available. Food tasted boring, although the price was high. Especially the momos were very dry and horrible. Because of an allergy, we asked, if we could have a dish without cheese. They refused to prepare it without cheese and didn't provide any explanation why.

Great food, a very reasonable price, and a nice atmosphere. Had a huge bowl of beef Thukpa and pork Mo Mos. Amazing, I was never able to have either of these local favorites in Darjeeling, which was fine as Cafe Royal did such a delicious job that I am glad I waited. My server was good, but like others complained, the food did take a while. I do plan to return before I leave Gangtok.
