Café Rust Review - Brighton - London - The Infatuation
"There’s a general assumption that places with poached eggs and avocado on the menu can’t be classed as great restaurants. As people who are sometimes overcome by a moderately feral craving for a bloody mary, that offends us. Café Rust is exactly the kind of cool-meets-casual brunch spot where they take ingredients seriously. The croque madame comes with a rich, near-nutty béchamel sauce, the garlic and herb beans are our new favourite reason to not hit snooze, and the welsh rarebit is one of the most profound ways to mainline mustard.
There are three Café Rusts dotted around Brighton, but thanks to its charming little patio, the one on Preston Road is our top pick—especially because it’s just a 10-minute walk away from Brighton Open Market’s abundance of artisan candles and food stalls. If you’re heading to the beach, hit up their Kemptown location or just stop by for a Red Roaster organic caffeine hit come 2pm." - Heidi Lauth Beasley
Excellent full English breakfast, regular or veggie. Very nice atmosphere and service.

The best breakfast I've had locally! The interior is very stylish. A perfect place for a slow morning coffee. I've had eggs royal and they were 10/10, gorgeously gooey. I'll certainly return to try something else from the menu and to relax

Quite a fancy feel, table service- lovely open and light seating. I had a great coffee and croissant was fine. The food dishes did look good too. Staff very nice and friendly

The food was absolutely delicious and the iced coffee was just what I needed on a sunny day. We sat outside and it was lovely being able to see the sea, and was shaded too so not too hot. The staff were also really friendly. I’d love to see some more vegan options, but the tofu scramble was lush! And it’s great that they don’t charge extra for milk alternatives.

We came here for breakfast. Lovely place. The food and the coffee was really tasty. Friendly service. This café also has a very interestingly designed cozy bathroom with hygene products.

Received a friendly welcome when I arrived at 2pm. Was offered the brunch menu and went with Welsh Rarebit. The food was done perfectly, cheese lightly browned and well melted, good quality bread and the right balance of mustard. The side salad was nice and helped cut through the fats of the dish.
Music is at a good volume to give atmosphere but still speak. Quite chilled beats. Coffee was excellent and service friendly. Would recommend.

I came with some friends and there was a warm reception. I had the eggs. It took a little while to come and I regret adding on any ingredients, but regardless it was a positive experience. Warm wishes
