The Best New Cafés in Montreal (Spring 2020) | Eater Montreal

"Sandrino is a tidy new family-run spot for Italian espresso up in Ahuntsic — it’s cheap, it’s cheerful, although take note that the space is pretty narrow, so it might not be the best bet for an hours-long coffee date." - Tim Forster

Very cute spot. Lots of options, food looked good, barista was friendly, and prices were reasonable. Unfortunately the hazelnut latte I ordered tasted like charcoal, and not even the steamed milk and syrup could mask that. If you are into that kind of thing (old school Italian style maybe?) you will be fine, but if you like specialty espresso I would pass on this place unfortunately.

One of the best coffee spots in Montreal. A small and cozy place that offers an amazing and tasty coffee. I went there with my wife to grab a coffee and some croissants which was absolutely tasteful. The service is wonderful and the owners are so friendly. Prices are compatible with the quality offered.

Nice and easy place to grab a coffee and biscotti in a quiet neighbourhood. Best to takeout because there is limited seating.

When I enter a small cafe shop like this I know I’m getting a good quality cafe, but my concern is usually if they have any pastries, cookies or anything special. I think that’s usually what make the difference. And I didn’t find anything interesting here. Just cafe.

I visited this small, local coffee shop twice during my short visit in Montreal. We were served by the same barista both days. He was very friendly, and served a great cup of coffee. I ordered an Americano and my wife ordered an espresso. We chatted with the barista while we sipped our coffee and really got to see his passion for the business, and the community.

Small Cafe with amazing espresso. Croissants and bombas were also very good. Batista was very personable and friendly, and we will definitely be back when in Montreal.

Yelp
A delicious iced coffee from a delightful shop! Pleasant staff, fresh ambiance, and patience with our English. Definitely a 'return visit' when we visit Montréal again!
