I went to Café Skye on 5/24/25 for a friend's birthday event, and it was such a great experience! The place is so cute: charming vibes with a cozy yet stylish interior that makes you want to stay and hang out all day. The drinks were delicious, well-balanced, creative, and definitely made with care. The food was also really good fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. But what really stood out was the service, everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely recommend for a cute brunch, a chill night out, or any kind of celebration. Can't wait to go back!

My friends and I so enjoyed our time so much so that I needed to remind them quite a few times we really needed to make our way out the door for closing lol. The staff were so hospitable, friendly and attentive. They really went above and beyond to make the night perfect for us. Food and drinks were amazing Cam is really helpful and kind. Together we came up with a menu and even a signature drink for the evening. I also really loved that the staff allowed me to play my own music which was a lot of fun for us too! Looking forward to hosting another event here in the future and I highly recommend to anyone!

Omg amazing. Happy Hour: $4 Beer. $10 Burger. Small, intimate. Good date spot. Really cool bartender Mathew playing super chill music. Waitress Ashley super attentive and detailed. Hidden gem. Go here and then listen to live music at Rockwood Music Hall nearby.

This is a nice and cozy spot in a very high traffic area. The staff are attentive and treat you like a regular, even on your first visit. The atmosphere really they create is typical of older joints in the city, in that they can get everyone conversing with each other, making you feel like a member of the community any time you step in. The drinks, with fresh and often house made ingredients, and delicious food top off this spot as a must see. Stop by for trivia on Tuesday’s and wine flights on Wednesday’s. They only serve natural wine and are knowledgeable on their selections.

Amazing scenery, swiftly yet concentrated made drinks, and a homey environment! Tell the bartender what you like, and he makes a custom like drink just for you! Amazing food that I couldn’t stop shoving into my mouth! There’s a really vast selection!

Google
The friendliest staff and the best happy hour, hands down! Victor, Matt and Cam are a phenomenal crew who do it all. From their Saturday brunch to Tuesday night trivia, they do it all with skill and finesse. Never been disappointed by their seasonal changes to their menu. If there’s a place in this neighborhood to become a regular, it’s here

Chris was our server and he was really nice to us. Orange wine was 7/10 but the prosecco was 9/10, really strong. We also got the banana bread and chocolate molten lava cake— both of which were good and served with vanilla ice cream. Cute date night spot

Google
A very charming spot with a lovely daily happy hour! We sat by the bar and enjoyed getting to know the bartenders. The daily happy hour was a nice bonus as they didn't advertise it on the website. Try the whiskey sour; it was so delicious. Will return again for the food next time!

Yelp
Have been here twice now and every time has been wonderful. The wines are interesting and delicious, the food is amazing, but really, the charming small wine bar atmosphere and the kind staff are one of the highlights of Cafe Skye. The Bavarian Pretzel Bites are straight up ADDICTIVE (you've been warned), the chorizo & queso dip is wonderful, as is the chef's cheese plate. You really can't go wrong with Cafe Skye and I'm looking forward to returning!

Yelp
GREAT daily happy hour deals with good neighborhood vibes and service. Even when we knew the address, it was a little hard to find. The bartenders were sitting on the stoop with neighborhood locals, which we loved. You don't get that often in New York anymore. They ran out of the lager on happy hour, so they were nice enough to accommodate for something else. We also ordered the whiskey sour cocktail on happy hour, which was amazing. Their other cocktails which aren't on happy hour also looked unique and tasty. We got the olives and fries. The fries were so crispy and tasty and came with housemade ketchup. Overall loved this place and would 10/10 come back and recommend

Yelp
I came here as part of the Tippler and absolutely loved this spot. 100/10 Would recommend this place and will definitely be back soon. This bar is absolutely stunning!!!! It's perfect for a cute date night or girls' night. This place is tucked away in Lower East Side - so it may not necessarily be one I would have stumbled across easily. The Whiskey Sour is incredible. They do make the original one with egg whites. However, if you're not into raw eggs in your drinks, they can easily leave it out for you. Still a great find. My favorite part of call was the cheese course. I ordered a 3 cheese plate which came with a Goat Gouda, Pecorrino, and a third one I cannot remember. The accompaniments were fantastatic and it was more than enough for dinner. The staff here are extremely knowledgeable. Absolutely loved this place and would recommend everyone come back here soon! Yelp
This spot is very border line 3/4 for me. If I'm being up front. The food was just ok, I wasn't overly impressed with the flavors and don't see myself coming back for the food. That being said, you can get one of the best happy hour deals/ weekly deals in the city. So, let's break down the food. We split: - Tune Poke Nachos: I loved the wonton chip but the tuna didn't taste the best quality I also feel like this needed more sauce, or something. It fell flat for me. - Scallion Mac & cheese (sans Bacon): not what I was expecting but the best of the 3 dishes I tried. The pasta was a bit on the tougher side but I enjoyed the sauce. - Yuzu Tuna Burger: maybe I overdid it with the tuna but again, I wasn't impressed with the meat. It felt under seasoned and lack luster. Maybe I just tried the wrong menu items, but I was a bit disappointed with my meal. Now, the drinks were great. An awesome selection of natural wines and very generous pours for only $15. This is a deal you gotta come in for. So, given this, why is my review standing at a low 4? The service here is awesome. You can tell the people that work here are really awesome. There is a great energy in this place that really allowed my friends and I to enjoy our evening. Well, that and the awesome deal on wine. So, my advice: definitely stop by for drinks, maybe skip the food. 3.8/5

Yelp
Small cozy bar. Great happy hour and food. Super friendly host and service. We were asked to leave because they were hosting a private party, which was fine, but it would have been nice to know in advance.

Yelp
I'd give 10 stars if I could ! New place but what drew me in was the cozy inviting interior. It's lit nicely with tea lights and warm , inviting decor. And the music. Alt rock that was played at a perfectly balanced level of a bar yet a place to talk to your companions. Alas, my companion was my dog Bonnie. I didn't ask if I can sit inside with her bc they do serve food and that's usually a no-no in NYC. Food and dogs don't mix. Anyways, no worries for me bc they do have a cute covered street patio with overhead heating ! It's Wednesday and wine flight night. 3 tastes for 15. Cameron, the owner, brought over the menus himself. Since it was orange wines I had to go for it as well as a cheese platter. The cheeses come from Valley Shepard creamery and if you know them you know they are some damn good cheeses. The wines are natural wines btw. And not some that you can find just anywhere. That's what sets this place apart. It's never fun to look at the wine menu and see yellowtail offered ha! All the wines I got were amazing. Cameron brought out the bottles which was nice and talked about each one. He's such a cool laidback guy- you'll feel like you knew him forever. He had his chef , Annie (yes- they introduce themselves !) bring out the cheese platter so she can explain the cheeses. A nice size board with 4 different ones and with this damn good cranberry compote made in house with a few olives, nuts and wheat crackers. The cheeses matched perfectly with the wines. Great choices and I want a gallon of that cranberry compote! I wasn't ready to leave here after I was done with my wine and cheese. I'd miss here and the folks too much haha. So I ordered another drink. This time I got to meet the bartender William. See where I'm going ? This is place has top notch service! I asked him whether I should go for the el manana ( an expresso martini ) or the passion roads ( a mezcal drink ). William recommended the El Manana it's the time of the year for a nice dark espresso drink. I concurred. And William brought me the best espresso martini and one of the best drinks I ever had ! It comes with a piece of truffled Gouda that William added a bit of chocolate on. He outdid himself. And trust me , I found out the cheese dipped into my drink and taking a bite works. Pls try it. I came here to scope out a date place. And they promised to pretend I'm a new patron every time lol. But it's a place I'd come by myself to just enjoy the hip without trying hard to be atmosphere and amazing drinks ! I can't wait to try their food! Prices: well , around the LES it's usually 17-18 for a drink. Here 15 ! And the food prices ? The only thing that is more than 15 is the brisket sliders. And that's bc they look , in pics I see , enough to split or fill you up nicely for dinner. I will get those next time and keep you all posted Love Skye Cafe !

Yelp
I just rented this space for my birthday dinner, and it was PERFECT! If you are thinking of having an event here- do it!!! Cam and the rest of the team were so communicative and responsive, the planning was seamless! I chose a few items off the menu to make a pre-fixe menu and they even helped me create a fun custom cocktail for my guests. The drinks were amazing, the bartender knows what he's doing! The food was also amazing, every dish was delicious! The avocado crostinis were such a perfect appetizer and the vodka rigatoni and steak frites were to die for!! I will definitely be back! Thanks Cam for making my birthday so special!

Yelp
Went here with friends the first drink I had here mescaline based was nice and balanced. My espresso martini on the other hand was more like a coffee martini and I took to sips and couldn't drink it.

Yelp
I went to this place when the USA world cup (like THE match that determines if they are still in) was happening. We initially booked a different brunch place but that place was PACKED. I didn't want to wait and it was also pouring outside. I called the nearest other brunch place and this place was the only one that would take us in. The omelette was DIVINE. it was so so yummy and the waiter was so nice to us and was having a conversation about the game and the rain. Overall a super small place but amazing vibes and amazing staff. Will definitely go again!

Yelp
I've been eager to try this new place in LES and we decided their biweekly trivia night would be a fun night to go. The place is a nice combination of cozy, yet cool and nice. Great place for friends or a date night. My friends all commented on how much they loved the vibe. The place is relatively small so I'd recommend making a reservation just in case. I got the Talea Paradise Punch Sour Ale ($9), and my sister got the Passionate Roads cocktail ($15). I love sours so I was happy to see that option on the board, and my sister's cocktail was delicious. They have a great cocktail list to choose from and even some orange wines, which can be hard to find. We also tried the banana bread, which was more like a banana cake in a good way. It was delicious and I'd recommend it to anyone. Overall we loved this place. The owner was super nice, overall atmosphere was great, and the trivia was fun. It's a great addition to Clinton St. and we'll definitely be back to try their happy hour or wine flight Wednesday!

Yelp
We came for a few drinks and ended up staying for hours and had a light dinner as the food is just that good! Very welcoming atmosphere with the 3 person team doing a great job. Cameron, the owner was fantastic with recommendations and was very attentive. We had the mac & cheese which was delicious and more like a decadent pasta followed by the sweet potato agnolotti which might have been the best pasta we had in awhile. The wines on offer are also great and reasonably priced. Overall great place either for a drinks, cute date or delicious dinner. We'll be back to try the rest of the menu.

Yelp
I went in for the ambience, I stayed for the best burger, wonderful bartender...who I hope to marry, Matthew I think. Not only do they serve craft cocktails, it's a all around swell time.

Yelp
We celebrated our sister bday here. It was a memorable one. Cameron helped us organized the whole thing. It was great! Name tags for each guest he even printed our sister' name on the menu! That was so thoughtful. Drinks were fantasic. Good list of orange wines, even though I am not a big fan on orange wines but they are acceptable to me even my mom approved. All the cocktails I've ordered was delicious! A Very good restaurant for small gathering. Love it! Shout out to Cameron he made everything possible! Thank you we had a blast!

Yelp
This gem is hidden on a small street but is filled with perfect cafe food and incredible cocktails. I came in and was able to snag a table without a reservation. I ordered the brisket sandwich and the meat is insanely tender. The service was great and the staff was super friendly. I loved it!

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place as we were waiting for our speakeasy a few doors down, to open up. Ordered some cocktails and some fries and a flatbread. I'll be honest- the cocktails were not that great. Food was okay. However, the hospitality was awesome. The staff was really friendly! Seems like a fairly new spot.

Jebbidiah C.

Yelp
I've never been to a better place in my life. That Cameron bean fella is something special. Michelin incoming, or I'm a democrat. I am not a democrat.

Yelp
What a wonderful neighborhood spot - Cafe Skye boasts inventive, beautifully crafted cocktails in a warm, homey atmosphere. Met with wonderfully gracious staff and service, this is a place where any passerby will be treated like a regular. The natural wine list is extensive and unique and the bar bites were deliciously creative. My new favorite spot in the city! A true hidden gem, but not for long.

Caroline M.

Yelp
Beautiful space, the food is delicious, great music and the service is fantastic. 100% recommend and will be back.

Yelp
Incredible cocktail bar with the friendliest staff! Their menu is perfect for a quick pre dinner drink and snack. Awesome natural wine list too.

Yelp
Been wanting to stop in since I passed by on Clinton Street a month ago. So many of the sweet intimate restaurants on Clinton are gone--it's wonderful to see a cozy, well-priced friendly place among the larger noisier restaurants and pizza and cheesesteak joints. The cocktails reminded me of the interesting and imaginative ones from the days of Elsa on 3rd street and the food was delicious and healthy in the best of ways. I strongly recommend checking out Cafe Skye before the secret is out and it's hard to nestle in.

Dennis M.

Yelp
Cafe Skye coupled top notch service with a stellar food and drink selection. We had the brisket sliders, which were perfectly marinated with the sidecar FDR to go with it. Highly recommend you try both. Look forward to coming back soon for date night.

Kathleen M.

Yelp
An absolute gem--perfect combo of relaxed and cozy with fun cocktails and delicious food! Lively neighborhood and fun to watch the street life from the cool bar at the front window!

Darian E.

Yelp
Incredible ambiance and an amazing drinks/food menu. I'll definitely be visiting Cafe Skye regularly

Jack G.

Yelp
Amazing vibes and energy about the place, food and drinks are fresh and definitely impressed. Think I found my new favorite spot
