Café Unido Casco Viejo

Great place in casco viejo for coffee and breakfast. The breakfast sandwich was amazing. The latte also delicious. Nice vibe with music. Perfect for a weekend breakfast. At 9:30 am on a Saturday it was packed. Luckily we arrived at 9:00 and found plenty of empty tables. We were so hungry I forgot to take pics of the sandwich but totally recommend it. Update: came back the next day to have the sandwich again. Posted the pics this time! ;)

An absolutely amazing cute gene in the middle of Casco Antiguo. Very pleasant atmosphere inside, stylish and thoughtful in every detail. Coffee was very tasty, as well as a refreshing açai bowl and warm and fresh chocolate banana bread. Stuff is very friendly and welcoming. And there’re so many corners where you can enjoy people watching or scroll on your phone waiting for the rain to pass.

I came here every day to write for the week that I was in Panama City. The smoked salmon sandwich was the perfect mix between light fresh ingredients and a hearty meal. The coffee was strong and rich in flavor. But by far the best part was the good service. Baristas and others were kind, jovial, and went out of their way to make you feel at home. I’ll be back next time I’m in town.

Loved learning about the Panamanian coffee and tasting the Geisha coffee from Boquete. The owner was educational and very attentive!

Nice little chained coffee shop in the heart of Casco Viejo, there is two floors so plenty of space to sit and rest. The coffee was delicious and they even have the renown Panamanian Geisha coffee for $10 a cup.

Came here for a rest after a long drive. The place is clean and quiet and the staff is friendly especially the guy who made and brought my tea. I found unfortunate they don’t use tea pots. They bring you a very small cup with the tea bag and hot water already inside. Seems disproportionate because the tea bag could handle much more water. The result is a very small cup of tea and a desire for more.

Great coffee shop to grab some sandwich, treat, and/or coffee. Excellent staff as well. Food quality was awesome. Recommend the ceasar salad wrap and monte cristo panini! Great value for the money you spend here.

I visited Café Unido twice during my weekend visit and had a pleasant experience each morning. The coffee and food were enjoyable and the service topped it off. I felt the establishment was very clean and if guests were finished, the dirty plates were not on the table longer than a few minutes. I can’t wait to return if i’m back in town!
