The 5 Best Bakeries In Annandale 2024

"You go to Cafe V for two things: the scones and the lattes. The maple walnut and dried cherry orange scones are soft and just the right amount of sweet, and if those don’t do it for you, the matcha and blueberry ones definitely will. Grab a drink—the tiramisu latte and the matcha are both great—and you’re set. From there, find a cozy spot, settle in, and if you brought your laptop, get ready to tackle some serious work, like pretending to write that novel you’ve been talking about for years." - omnia saed

We had a delightful breakfast at this place this morning! As soon as we walked into the shop, we were pleasantly surprised by its spaciousness and high ceilings. Although the interior décor style is old-school and reminiscent of the 1980s, with many plush toys, big graphics covering the walls, and dark brown painted walls on the other side, the shop was clean and well-maintained. We ordered a V Morning Egg & Cheese Wrap and an Egg & Cheese Breakfast Croissant, which had a pleasant flavor and were the perfect portion sizes. The prices were very reasonable as well. The coffee was excellent, with a rich, full-bodied taste and slight acidity. For dessert, we had gluten-free banana bread and peach scones. The banana bread came with a heart-shaped plastic bubble that could be squeezed to add sweetness and moistness to the bread, making it even more enjoyable. The scone was the best we had ever tasted; it was not too dry, had enough fruity flavors and bits of dried peaches on top, and we could taste a pleasing milk powder flavor on the last bite. The scones were so good that we bought more to take home. This shop bakes fresh and delicious scones every day, and they are well-known for it. The letter "V" in Cafe V represents the shop owner's first initial. Our experience was excellent, and we can't wait to go back and sample more of their tasty treats.

Google
Best coffee in the area without question. Honey Cinnamon latte is life-giving. Awesome cinnamon rolls, good other pastries, and tastier-than-you’d-expect bagels w/ lox available for breakfast early. Switch from breakfast sandwiches / bagels to Korean Chicken happens around 11 each day. Staff is always friendly, and the coffee is always excellent (and made with love). Wholeheartedly recommend.

Went on a weekday - it wasn’t busy so there was ample parking and seating. Got a croissant breakfast sandwich ($10) and blueberry scone ($5). Sandwich was tiny for $10. They didn’t toast the croissant but the insides were warm. Scone was served cold - was dry but tastes better if you pop it in the oven before eating. Atmosphere was basic.

Google
I like their homemade scones, which come in a variety of flavors. This is a strip mall so there is parking and a shared washroom among the businesses. The washroom could be cleaner, particularly as this coffee quickly calls for it. There is water and a reliable wifi at medium speed levels. The renovation is disappointing. I hoped they'd make the place less drab. Instead, it's still drab but now they serve fried chicken. The smell is too strong. I can't work in the middle of a fried chicken restaurant anymore.

Adorable little cafe with great coffee and phenomenal pastries! I visited Cafe V on a Saturday afternoon to catch up on a bit of reading and work, and it was the perfect place to settle down for a few hours. It was quite busy when we arrived, but, thankfully, Cafe V had ample seating available, including a long, wide hallway in the back that was lined with tables. We arrived a bit too late to get a coffee, but we decided to split an herbal tea and an almond milk matcha latte, as well as a fig scone. The tea was lovely -- it was super fruity and a smidge tart, so all around quite refreshing -- and the matcha latte was solid. The matcha flavor was a tad too light for my liking, but it was still great. It's admittedly a bit pricey -- our matcha latte was $6, and most of the coffee drinks would have also been around $5-8 -- but it's not that far out of the range I'd expect for DC. The scone, however, really impressed me; it was super buttery, had a great flavor from the fig syrup and dried figs on top, and wasn't overly sweet. They had a wide selection of scones, which they bake in-house daily, as well as a few other pastries, so I'll be sure to come back and sample their other scones and coffee!

Google
Yes! So good! I arrived at opening time and ordered the scones that were just coming out of the oven. SO TASTY! And the avocado toast: guys! This is the only avocado toast that I’ve ever ordered that was WORTH the $15 cost - no debate. I’m bringing everyone I love here in the future. ☕️ The barista created a latte art teddy bear on my mocha (I was there with my toddler)🥰 Also, amazing people who were working when I came. Friendly and welcoming without being too chatty for 7:30am 😂🫶🏼

Google
The place has good parking in the morning. I had the avocado toast and the honey oat latte. The bill was more than $20 for these two items. It seems pricey. I was not impressed or disappointed. They tasted just ok. It was really a meh for me. However, I actually liked the venue.

Yelp
Usually when I'm in the Annandale/Springfield area and want to meet up with people, I hit the Tous Le Jours (www.yelp.com/biz/tous-les-jours-annandale-13). However, as of late, TLJ is always super packed and it's hard to find a table or it's usually super loud which makes conversation challenging. In keeping with my 2025 resolution to start checking off my list of bookmarked places to try, I finally stopped in Cafe V and was very impressed with the experience. Located off busy Little River Turnpike in what I loosely refer to as the "9292 plaza" since 9292 BBQ and shabu are also in this strip mall, Cafe V is a calm oasis for folks seeking a good cup of coffee/tea. The interior is best described as modern yet quaint coffeehouse chic. It's a open concept space with stark red furniture contrasting with muted hardwood tables and flooring. There are also "cutesy" Asian themed plushies and dolls on the window sills and walls, as well as coffee/tea themed paraphenalia staged throughout. Since it was mid-day and I already had consumed my morning black coffee, I opted for the matcha latte. The beverage was ready in about 3 minutes, and had a decorative flower design in the middle. Nice matcha flavor without being too "pronounced" as some matcha drinks can be; wish it was a bit hotter but I'll ask for that next time. I thought my friend's chai latte was better since it had hints of ginger, cardamon, cinnamon and it the perfect "sweet but not too sweet." Didn't have any pastries or anything else to eat, although there is a full kitchen on-site. There is a display case with scones, chocolate chip cookies, meringue cookies, and egg tarts. After chatting with the friendly staff, they mentioned that all of the items are made in-house. There are also savory items like sandwiches available. When we visited, it was a diverse crowd inside Cafe V. There was a PTA group planning out their kids events, people working on their laptops with their earbuds were isolating them from the world, and older folks enjoying their coffee while reading the paper. Cafe V is my kind of place. They serve good coffee/tea drinks in a multi-purpose environment. Best of all, if you're just looking to "hang out," Cafe V is perfect for that also.

Yelp
We went last week during the day to grab a drink and work there, and it was a very cute looking cafe walking in and busy. I liked the wall art and decorations. There's enough parking too for that shopping center. There's a lot of menu variety, and you can buy premade drinks from the fridge like soda, along with merch/buy bagged teas to go. We ordered specialty drinks like the cheese foam cold brew (and you can add the specific syrup you want to customize), the tiramisu iced latte which definitely lived up to its name, the pink blossom latte looked pretty in pink, and the pistachio/white chocolate chip scone which ended up being my fave item that day. The scone had a crumbly texture, and was somewhat savory/ not overly sweet. I'd come back for a wrap or sandwich sometime and tea again!

Yelp
I never have a bad drink here. I am updating my review to show the hot version of the Pink Blossom Latte. It was very decadent, like a sweet treat. The flavors blended well together. Staff are friendly and it's a nice spacious shop.

Yelp
I've heard really good reviews about Cafe V, so I wanted to check this spot out for a while. My friend and I stopped by on a Wednesday and it was super busy! There were barely any seats left (and there's a lot of seating here). It has super cozy vibes and a good amount of parking, sharing the lot with 9292 KBBQ, 9292 Pocha & 9292 Shabu. The menu has an abundance of options, ranging from different coffees, teas, and some seltzer drinks. There are light eats as well, such as different toasts and wraps. We ordered a few items: -Cheese Foam Cold Brew w/ caramel syrup -Pink Blossom Latte (iced) - includes cheese foam -Tiramisu Latte (iced) - includes cheese foam -Pistachio & White Chocolate Chip Scone Everything was super delicious and not too sweet, which is always a perk. It's so cozy here, and would definitely come back!

Yelp
The food offered are sandwiches, and they aren't too spectacular. I personally would eat beforehand but their drinks were quite delicious! I really enjoyed them. We got two iced coffee, flavored tiramisu and dulce de leche. I was surprised but I really enjoyed the tiramisu quite more. The service was prompt and quick. It's definitely a nice place to go and socialize and study at for sure. It's very calm and clean inside. They do have outdoor seating but it's not much.

Yelp
DRINKS I ordered their dulce de leche iced latte (16 oz) for $7+. It's definitely on the pricy side, but for me at least, I was paying for the drink and my time there working from home. Great place to work/study and more! FOOD They offer a variety of sandwiches (e.g. caprese, BLT), pastries (e.g. scones), and other grab-and-go items (e.g. sodas, cookies, bottled waters). AMBIANCE Cafe V is a great place to catch up with friends or work/study. Many outlets are available by each table with a mix of 2-to-6-person tables throughout. It is a great place to get work done, which was the highlight of my trip here for sure. Free Wi-Fi available (password by the register). SERVICE The staff are efficient prepare orders quickly, especially during the morning rush! There are very nice, well-kept bathrooms at the back of the store that is shared with other stores in the complex. PARKING A parking lot with ample spots is available that is shared with neighboring stores.

Yelp
I've visited this cafe twice now specifically just to try the pink blossom latte for the "pink" coffee aesthetics but pleasantly surprised how much I like this drink. The flavors of ruby chocolate and espresso together are hard to describe but there hasn't been a latte i've tried that tastes like it. The cheese foam on top also adds a very nice touch to the drink. I will likely try the other drinks on the menu after I get out of my "iced pink blossom latte" phase but for now it is my go-to when I come here.

Yelp
Cafe V is one of the coffee shops that opens a tad early on weekends and habe fresh food ready in the morning. It's a gem with a modern feel, yet still has that warm, mom-and-pop charm. The coffee is fantastic, the food is tasty, and the owner and staff are incredibly friendly. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Yulee K.

Yelp
WOW. Their coffees and drinks are all amazing! The pink blossom latte was a bit sweet but still delicious. We also got a matcha yuzu which was refreshing, lightly sweet, and had a strong matcha flavor. I could tell they used good matcha as well. Their peach smoothie also tasted delicious and was so refreshing. The cafe has a lot of outlets so it's also great for studying.

Yelp
Cafe V is a great cafe, breakfast, or brunch/lunch spot. Their hot sandwiches are made to order and filling, their coffee is flavorful without being too sweet, and their scones/pastries are great when you're in a hurry. I recommend the Pink Blossom Latte if you're looking for a sweet flavored drink, or try their normal latte if you just want some wonderful coffee. Their cranberry orange scone is also a favorite of mine.

Yelp
Continuing on my descent into reviewing Cafes around the DMV, I stumbled upon this hidden gem of a place in Annandale. It's tucked between 9292 KBBQ and Pep Boys so it's hard to see unless you're on the side road. I came here after work to check this place out. It was really quiet but there was ambient chatter from the other patrons in there. The service was very quick as I knew what I wanted. I looked into their menu prior to visiting and was really intrigued by their cute latte designs, especially the cute bear one. I got the matcha latte, definitely my go to drink if I wanted something not too strong but enjoyable to drink. I also got the BLT sandwich too. The person who rang me up was really nice too and asked if I'd like it in a cup or have it to go. It's great when they ask you that. The latte was very enjoyable to drink. I liked the froth and the the taste of the matcha wasn't too sweet at all to drink. The BLT sandwich wasn't too big but it was savor and delicious. I don't expect to get full on this but it was very tasty! I will definitely come back here to try out more of their menu. Compared to the other cafes I've been too, this place is definitely worth visiting if you need some quiet time to do work or a place to relax with friends. Really highly recommend this place as this is definitely a hidden gem to visit.

Yelp
No-frills, Cafe V is run by kind people who efficiently make you your coffee. Enjoying more sweet drinks, I enjoyed the large honey cinnamon latte. Within minutes, it was ready at the bar on a Sunday morning. The space is very practical with plenty of tables. My latte was over $7, which seemed a little expensive, but everything is these days.

Yelp
Come here all the time and the service is great, food is great, coffee is AMAZING. Sometimes we come here to work. Our favorite is the tiramisu latte (iced) but their other drinks are just as good.

Yelp
My friends and I were pleasantly surprised with Cafe V's friendly customer service, and amazingly astounded by the freshness of their smoothie. The ice coffee woke me up, and my friends and I will definately return to Cafe V in the future. With declious sandwhiches, drinks, and charging stations for our laptops to use, this experience was definately worth its price! Thank you Cafe V

Yelp
Stumbled upon this coffee shop with my mom and loved it! Got the honey cinnamon latte and found it to be perfectly balanced - not too sweet, perfect flavors, amazing espresso flavor. Mom also liked her latte - not too sweet, balanced and smooth. We also got the scones which were good as well. Will definitely go back when I visit the area again. Probably will be my go-to for some good coffee in the Annandale area! Great place to sit and talk with friends.

Yelp
Came here to do some journaling with a friend and a partner. The place is very clean and I love the unique interior. Lots of space to study and do work on a weekend. The drinks were phenomenal. I got a vanilla latte, and my partner got a Neopolitan latte. Both were super good, however if you're not fond of something too sweet, I wouldn't go for the Neopolitan. We're sweet tooth's but we also love balance. The vanilla latte and the gluten free banana bread with a honey squeezer weren't too sweet (best Asian dessert compliment) so I loved that we had the sweet latte too. Service was prompt. I received my order in less than 5 minutes, but do keep in mind that there was no one else in line besides another person who ordered an americano (simple drink to serve) Would definitely come again!

Yelp
It's a nice spot to get pastries and drinks as well as a convenient place to work, study or hang out with friends. We got an Iced Chai Tea Latte. They made it perfectly with light ice and it did not taste watered down like other places. The interior is quite spacious with a very cozy vibe! The service was efficient and their staff were helpful. It would be nice if only they have later hours!

Yelp
My current favorite computer cafe in the area. A great environment for grabbing a coffee and working or hanging out with friends. Clean, comfortable, helpful staff/owner, excellent Wi-Fi and, last but not least, an enticing selection of beverages, sandwiches and pastries. All the sandwiches I've tried are excellent. Extra kudos for the ones made with sourdough bread. If you try only one sandwich, make it the Avacado Toast. It's a work of art and straight up the best I've ever had anywhere. Their scones are also among the very best. Blueberry is my favorite. I like that Korean pastries are less sweet than typical American pastry which is grossly oversaturated with sugar IMO. Speaking of sugar, my go-to drink here is the latte with oat milk and no added sugar. There's already more than enough natural and added sugar in most oat milks anyway. I believe they use Oatly which makes it nice and creamy. Most people will probably love their other interesting cafe creations such as Tiramisu or Pink Blossom Latte. So did I--except they're all far too sweet for my taste. Even that wouldn't be an issue if you could control the amount of sugar. But all the flavored drinks I tried suffer from the dreaded pre-mix problem where some goon in a factory decides how much sugar everyone must have in their drinks. Since its premixed, asking for less sugar means fewer scoops of the main flavor. Even the Matcha Green Tea Latte mix is too sweet for me. IMO sugar pre-mixes should be outlawed. Just kidding. Best wishes and good luck to all who happily guzzle sugary drinks on a regular basis. Amazingly, Cafe V and other Korean cafes are at least not as sweet as flavored drinks at American cafes like Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts. But those places are learning to offer more menu options where you can control the sugar or swap for alternative sweeteners (another topic I won't go into here). But no worries. At Cafe V there are options for low or no sugar fans like me. In addition to the plain latte, they have drip coffee on the menu where you're totally in control of what gets added. They even have a delicious zero sugar sparkling water drink I just discovered today: Chi Forest Lychee Fizzy. Options like this are why Cafe V earns 5 stars, even from a picky person like me. p.s. Also uploaded the first images of the sandwich menu. :-]

Yelp
A hidden gem in Annandale. The cappuccino comes in a huge cup filled to the brim. It was smooth and creamy with the perfect froth. Our barista was quick without being rushed and delivered a nice bit of artwork on our cappuccinos. The shop looks new and was clean and well organized. It has become our "must stop" when passing through Annandale.

Yelp
Stopped by here on the way to the airport and it was a very pleasant visit! The cafe is large, spacious with a lot of tables to work from! It is very well ventilated with clean bathrooms. The ladies behind the counter were nice and friendly and provided excellent service. I got their speciality drink- tiramisu latte which was super delicious! It was sweet, creamy and had a good amount of flavor. It has espresso, hazelnut flavor, and cheese foam. My boyfriend got the pure detox tea which he enjoyed. I like the quiet ambiance because it is easier to get work done. I highly recommend those in the area to come here whether to study, hangout and/ or order delicious drinks!

Yelp
TL;DR: Great drinks, pastries, and service! Best Americano I've had in the area Came here on a Sunday afternoon to grab a drink and hang out. The interior is a little dark, but lots of seating available, free wi-fi, and open space! Only thing is it was extremely cold in there, so we did not stay too long. The service is absolutely top notch! So friendly and informative. FOOD/DRINK: ~Americano (5/5): most Americano's I've had at Korean cafes are always way too watered down. This one was amazing! Would definitely get again ~Tiramisu Latte Iced (5/5): So good! Not too sweet, but the cream cheese foam on top was delicious. Mixed it all up, and could not stop drinking it (rare for me and my husband, as we usually just drink black coffee). But FYI - this is on the pricy side ~Cold Brew (2/5): Personal preference - was too sour for us ~Fig Scone (4/5): Not usually a fan of scones, but this one was so tasty and not too dry/crumbly! Just wish there was more fig jam on top ~Egg Tart (4.5/5): Great shell to filling ratio! The filling was nice and custardy, but it had a prominent lemon flavor in it, which I did not mind (actually liked it), but if you're not expecting it and don't like lemon flavor, you may not like this one Wish they had an option to heat up the pastries! They now also have sandwich options for it you're wanting some lunch! We will definitely come back for their drinks and pastries!

Yelp
What looks like a nondescript coffee shop in a Korean-run strip mall is actually a hidden gem with a wide range of delicious pastries, food, and drinks. The inside is pretty unremarkable as well, but there are plenty of tables to choose from They do not have a food menu, but they (oddly) have a few laminated pictures that are stacked up on the counter that you can look through I got a blueberry scone and an iced crème-brûlée latte, and both were delicious
google avatar

Kevin H.

Yelp
Ordered a tiramisu latte. It smells and tastes good. Might be high on sugar and money but I kind of expected that since I didn't request for less. I like the atmosphere of the cafe it's quiet and lots of room for conversation, might not be ideal for large groups though. Tables seem to be clean Might return for remote working. Friend also ordered a macha latte and a white chocolate scone. I didn't eat it but it looks good

Yelp
Came for breakfast. Their scones are soft and delicious. Also tried their breakfast sandwiches which came out hot (just the way I like them). But def their winner choice is the scones. Felt like a mix of biscuit?? Anyways will be back again !

Yelp
After spending the last semester cafe hopping in LA's Koreatown, I figured it was only reasonable to return to the DMV to do the same. My best friend and I both needed to grind out some work before finals, so we headed to Cafe V. It's located in a weird spot between Little River Turnpike and John Marr Drive -- you'll probably miss the turn the first time, but you can just spin around and try again . They have their own parking lot with the neighboring KBBQ place and plenty of seating inside with outlets. There are so many options on the menu! They also have some special items that aren't on the primary menu but instead drawn on a blackboard to the side of the cashier. I got the pistachio cream latte iced. I'm obsessed with pistachio flavored things and I'd say it was pretty good! The layers on the drink were super pretty. I liked the balance of the cream top and pistachio bits on the top. My only disappointment would be the price point for the drink -- $7.37 after tax for 12 ounces is crazy. My lattes come out cheaper in LA and I already complain about the price O_O

Yelp
Such a cute coffee shop, lovely service, delicious coffee! Looks like a great sandwich menu too, will have to come back for lunch sometime.

Yelp
The tricolor latte is the Pink Blossom latte. It tasted like a dessert coffee drink and could be made less sweet to make me feel better about drinking it. The matcha white chocolate scone had great texture. The inside was a little cold as if it was recently taken out of a refrigerator. I would have liked it to be room temperature or warm so that it could taste more fresh. They serve sandwiches for breakfast and lunch. Around lunch time, the sandwich menu at the ordering counter is switched out for the lunch menu. I do not get the sense that the pastries and other baked goods are made in house or are freshly made. Everything seemed pre-made. I ordered the egg and sausage croissant sandwich. While it wasn't bad, I did not like that the croissant did not seem fresh. It was soft, floppy, and oily, which made me wonder if they are using croissants from Costco. I think it would have been better if they toasted the croissants for the sandwich. In terms of taste, the egg and sausage bit with baby spinach leaves reminded me of ordering a breakfast sandwich from your workplace building's cafeteria/deli. It was just fine. I'm not sure if there was something in the air or room, but from the moment I entered the cafe, I started sneezing and blowing my nose regularly until the moment I left two hours later. After leaving the cafe, my nasal congestion stopped. The bathroom is weirdly shared with the neighboring Shabu Shabu place next door. To go to the bathroom, head towards the back, open the door that is labelled Bathroom, and then enter the hallway and turn right. The bathroom did not smell that great for 12 PM on a Saturday. The stall is quite tight, and my pants could easily touch the toilet seat when attempting to turn around to just close the door. But once out of the stall, the bathroom is a good size. I find it curious that the stalls are so small but the space to go wash your hands is much larger. It would make more sense to widen the stalls more because they had the space. There are plenty of tables, and the wifi is free and reliable. I found it also strange that the tables and chairs all appeared to be mismatched. Overall, I found this place all right and will not return.

Yelp
Cafe V is a cute cafe tucked in one of the many plazas of Annandale! I wish I checked it out earlier since it's a great place to get some studying and work done because the tables and seating is the perfect set up for it. I spent the past Saturday afternoon doing my own thing and enjoying a house made scone. There's quite a few different pastries you can choose from (a few scones, egg tarts, if I recall). I enjoyed the scone I got, but it was a bit too dense and sweet for me. Next time, I'd definitely try something else and grab a coffee. I would highly recommend swinging by Cafe V to get some productive work done.

Yelp
Cute cafe with lots of seating that's perfect for working or hanging out with friends! It is a little pricey and parking is angled which I am not as used to. A lot Of parking though so it's not too hard. Dulce de leches latte was nice and not too sweet! Very balanced tasting 4/5 Prosciutto open faced sandwich was good but too expensive 3/5 Fanciers are nice 3/5 Mocha latte was a little watered down but not too sweet and overall still good. I was told that maybe getting it for here instead of to go might make it better. It was way too hot when it first came out 3/5

Yelp
Charming cafe with a spacious interior. I really enjoyed the chocolate finanicer with the hershey's chocolate on top! The pastry was soft and had a nice texture. Not a lot of chocolate flavor in the bread itself, but the chocolate piece made up for it. I didn't enjoy my caramel frappe that much - it was quite icy and not flavorful enough. The egg tart was yummy - super flaky and had the right amount of sweetness. The custard could've been smoother, though. The service was very nice and efficient. I liked the ambiance of the cafe, too - it was quiet on a Saturday morning. Overall, I enjoyed my time here, but not sure if I would come back!

Yelp
The pink blossom iced latte tasted like my childhood lol. Nesquick with expresso. I am officially an adult. My husband's dulce de leche was very good as well. I prefer mine though. The workers were very nice and helped us out. Ambience is so chill. I love their money tree plants and the chairs of the cafe.

I've been meaning to visit this place, however getting to it is a bit inconvenient since its located on a service road. That being said this is a nice comfy spot where it's not to noisy and lots of seating. I prefer the environment here considering there's too many people lounging at Starbucks and taking up all the seats. Lots of seating available here. I had the house coffee and an everything bagel with cream cheese. Everything tasted good as expected, and it was nice drinking coffee from an actual cup instead of a paper cup for once. I was slightly disappointed that they didn't have any lunch items on the menu, but hey that's just me and its just a coffee house but a guy can dream right? Lastly you can find the Wi-Fi password to the left of the register. I though this was great idea since it sucks asking employees for Wi-Fi passwords. The Wi-Fi speed is pretty decent, I was able to use the internet with no problems. I plan on coming back and trying some of their designer coffees.

Yelp
Their coffee is legit, service is amazing, and scones are out of this world. Breakfast sandwiches are great as well. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Better than Starbucks. They serve incredible coffee and tie it in with unique pastries. The atmosphere is spacious with beautiful murals everywhere. Lastly the manager is super interpersonal so be ready for a great conversation.

Yelp
We were looking for a light breakfast and saw this place was very well liked so we had to try it. Not super busy for a Sunday morning, parking lot wasn't super full. They share the parking lot with 9292. Inside, a good amount of the tables had people at them. It was pretty fancy looking and very clean. They offered lots of unique looking drinks on their menu as well as pastries. We ordered the cheese foam cold brew, strawberry (peach?) iced tea, a white chocolate matcha scone, and an egg tart. Really solid cold brew, not too sweet either. The tea was ok too, also not too sugary. The scone was almost cookie like, great light matcha flavor and broke apart really well. Egg tart was flaky and custardy. You could definitely tell the pastries were fresh. Everything mentioned about the staff is true. They are really nice which was the cherry on top. We will absolutely be coming back soon to grab more drinks and try their other pastries.

Yelp
The young lady at the counter was Super Sweet to me and I ordered a mocha frappe. IT WAS DELICIOUS!!! Also, it's a chill place to hang out and study or socialize.

Yelp
I have been here twice and enjoyed it each time. The cafe has a darker asthmatic with the walls and furniture compared to their competition cafes in Annandale. Not a big deal just saying. The cafe is extremely clean with plenty of seating and outlets. I got the cinnamon honey latte which basically tastes like a graham cracker. It was delicious. The second time I had the pink blossom latte. Strawberry and milky. Both delicious! The music isn't blasting. The Wi-Fi is strong and the customer service is fast and friendly! Perfect place to do work or study.

Yelp
I got a coffee and a sandwich. The coffee was okay, but the sandwich tasteless, and caused me indigestion. In addition to that, this place is expensive. Stay away.

Yelp
Back again with a new photo I will always stop here if I'm in Annandale! Love the lattes and scones!

Yelp
I have been stopping by before work every chance I get for the past 5-6 months! I get the same thing a iced large tiramisu latte! If I know it will be a long day, I grab two!! Lol It was love at first taste! I never had anything like it! The customer service is always nice & speedy! I get their breakfast sandwiches too if I make it in time! Love it all! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Cafe V is probably my favorite coffee shop in the area. With a menu that has a lot to offer, Cafe V has yet to fail me. I stop by about once or twice a week and my go to order here is the Dulce de Leche latte or sometimes the Tiramisu and it hits every time. I also always get a little pastry, whether it's an egg tart or a financier, you really can't go wrong. The cafe itself has a large seating area with lots of outlets. It's a nice quiet cafe that is great for working during the week and also a great place to hang out and meet up with on the weekends. I love Cafe V and I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a coffee, pastry, or even a place to work!

Yelp
A wonderful café that you might not notice if you don't look for it. I highly recommend checking it out. Beautiful areas for seating, incredibly great coffee, with some interesting combinations. Love the cold brew with the cheese cream on top. And the avocado toast is really great. Wonderful staff there as well!

Yelp
A cute cafe with lots of seating and a cute vibe! They have a lot of different options on the menu - I tried the iced cinnamon latte. It was sweet and delicious. Their matcha scone was the true kicker - the flavor is bold and the texture of the scone is crunchy on the outside, softer on the inside. It's a great pairing with coffee, and isn't too dry like most scones!

Yelp
New and underrated café in Annandale! I usually don't write reviews, but this was warranted (so please bear with me haha)! The interior of the café has a comfy atmosphere and welcoming aura. The staff working clearly care about what they do and won't hesistate to explain their products and what they're made of! Moving onto the food/drinks, coffee enthusiasts will enjoy the high quality and variety of interesting and delicious drinks. The pastries are fresh and not too sweet and cater to those looking for something simple or new. On this visit, my family shared a mango and strawberry bingsoo made with SHAVED MILK (finally bingsoo made the right way!! ) and the flavor was as good as it looks. The tiramisu latte was no less tasty, as it paired very well with the apricot and matcha scones we ate (not pictured). If you're looking for good coffee and pastries to get your day started or for an afternoon snack, a place to study, or maybe even a new place to impress your date, definitely check this place out! You won't regret it :)

Yelp
The food! Amazing, I had an avocado toast and omg it was like a pizzazzed avocado toast with so much extra stuff on it but it worked and it was amazing, so fresh and good! I also had the cheese foam cold brew, love how strong the taste of coffee is with the sweet and salty foam mmm so good also. The service was friendly and fast. The ambiance was cozy and quiet and welcoming. Love this place I must come back!
