The Best Montreal Cafés for Working or Studying | Eater Montreal

"Now counting a few years on the Villeray caffeine scene, Perko doesn’t scorn those hovering over their computers — it entices them with a printer and its own bookable conference room. As such, Perko can understandably get full, but there are seats and plugs aplenty — plus, it’s far enough away from the universities to avoid being too heavily overrunwith students. Food offerings are limited to the snackable: bagels, soups, some pastries and a couple of small sandwiches." - JP Karwacki

Cozy cafe, beautifully decorated. It’s quite with plenty of tables and comfy chairs. It’s a great place to study, work or just have a catch-up session with friends. I’ve only had drinks so I cannot speak about food. The coffee, tea and smoothies menu is extensive. No credit card accepted, cash or interac only. Street parking in the area is difficult to find.

This coffee place has such a cute & peaceful vibe to it. The staff is super nice, the decoration is adorable and the prices are great compared to a lot of other places. New favorite coffee shop in the neighbourhood🥹

Good cafe with lots of veggie and vegan friendly food. They offer a roasted veggie wrap or sandwich which can be made vegan and they have some vegan bites. Really cute atmosphere inside and there’s a small patio outside as well. Overall enjoyed working here - not noisy at all indoors and the music is perfect. Only thing is I wish their fish tank was bigger for their little axolotl lizard - it’s a bit small and lonely!

I stayed for long hours and had a chai latte, a double espresso, and a veggie burger! All were delicious. Excellent service, nice decor, outlets for charging, and nice contemporary music.

Beautiful little homey spot off the beaten path in Montreal. DOs: get one of the cookies in the cookie jars, literally any of them, you can’t go wrong. DONTS: don’t get a cookie and not get a delicious and creamy coffee with it, that would be blasphemous. Sit inside or outside, we went on a Saturday afternoon, great attention and atmosphere.
