Back in 2004, I was working at 333 Bush St. and this was our favorite salad lunch place. Now I'm on Battery St. and was happy to that this Cafe Venue location was still open. Too bad their Leidesdorff alley location is now closed. The salad chefs there were better and closer to me on Battery St. Today I had their breakfast burrito with sausage, + avocado & sour cream $1.50 = $10.95. O! such good memories! Tomorrow I'll come back for lunch and get my old favorites, the chop chop salad or the spinach one. Service was excellent was for a counter style restaurant.

Great place for a quick healthy breakfast. I enjoyed my chicken and egg scramble.

This place rocks, super down to earth vibe, delicious food & everything is reasonably priced. Great place for sandwiches, salads, & breakfast foods (I love the breakfast burrito). HIGHLY reccomend.

Great customer service and clean environment. The Chai latte could be sweeter. The croissant was fresh and just the right sweetness.

Appalling coffee. Cappuccino served in a pint glass! No wonder it’s cheap. It’s all undrinkable milk microfoam; even after vigorously stirring! Basically need a spoon to “eat” the foam then you just have a double shot espresso. How could it be so bad?!

Expensive, tasteless food. The strawberry OJ, banana smoothie was surprisingly bland. Made me think, they did not put any fruits in it at all, And it was so liquidly. The Chorizo breakfast burrito was too salty, greasy and way too much inside, with not much other stuff in it. I also ordered it with avocado & sour cream, which I couldn't find inside the burrito. I could have had a bag of chips from a vending machine, or a granola bar instead. That would have been more satisfying, & less waste of time & money. It was surprising that staff was plentiful, unfriendly, and rushed customers. How did they stay in business? I won't be coming back.

Got extra eggs for my breakfast burrito, made it the same size as the usual breakfast burrito. They made sure that I get plenty of jalapenos in my burrito. My last stop there - lots of better options in the area.

Best breakfast burrito in FiDi and it's now served all day so sometimes I have it for lunch. I recommend the bacon breakfast burrito with add-ons of sour cream and avocado. Very speedy, nice people working there. Usually has plenty of seating. A little noisy but not too loud.

I came in here on a Friday morning at 9:30. There was a 3-4 person line but it went by really quick. They have reasonable priced food for the area! I got a bacon breakfast burrito for around $7. It was a good size and tasted great. Everyone there was so nice! One thing that is a bit annoying is that they do not have a bathroom, but the cafe next door does. I would go here again if I was in the area.

SIEMPRE DELICIOSO! This is the kind of spot that I go to even if I'm on a 4-hour layover in SFO airport. I've been coming here since 2016 for their breakfast burritos (I always get mine toasted w/chorizo) and fresh green juices. 6 years later, the price is still on point and so is the freshness, quality and temperature of the food. The space is always clean, chill and relaxing. The service is really fast and always well-deserving of a 25% tip. PHENOMENAL spot to recommend to coworkers! Gracias por todo!

I come here almost once a week for breakfast. Great place. Very clean restaurant. Great prices. The cooks know exactly how to prepare your food when you order through them. The two female cashiers not so good. They seem to struggle every time they ring me up. The eye opener and breakfast burrito are my go to breakfasts. The freshly squeezed orange juice is delicious.

Cafe Venue is a downtown SF staple with great food and good service as well. Plenty of options for food and delicious smoothies!

Been coming here for almost 3 years now, The cashiers have very bad language barriers I usually order a eye opener 3 eggs double sausage with avocado. Today I got my meal with 2 eggs and 2 sausages and Avocado When i went to let the cooks know the older Hispanic lady gave me a look and told me I didn't pay the extra amount. Not having my receipt screwed me so now i got charged for stuff I didn't receive I won't be coming here anymore. After being a regular for so long and to be told I didn't pay is crazy. Foods great staff need to work on listening skills.

Terrible WiFi or no WiFi. Hard to work or use any devices here. When asked to help it turn on they didn't help

I visited Cafe Venue on a Monday morning for some coffee and breakfast, and it was the perfect place because of the many options on the menu, as well as the fact that they were less busy than most of the coffee shops directly on Market Street, because of the Warriors Championship Parade. There was a very short line and wait. We ordered breakfast burritos. The worker asked if we wanted guacamole and sour cream when he was making the order. But he never told us it cost $2 extra for either, so I didn't know till I saw it on my receipt. We also got a plain black coffee and an iced mocha. Both were good, not stellar compared to other places, but good. The burritos were nice and hot, and fresh, but the bacon in my burrito wasn't cooked well enough and it was barely cut into pieces, so it was a bit hard to eat. Flavorwise, the burritos were decent, not one of my top burritos of all time, but satisfying nonetheless. Cafe Venue has a nice inviting atmosphere, with both indoor and outdoor seating. And they have a restroom down the hall out the back of the restaurant, shared with the Mills Building on Montgomery. The service was good, except for the food maker not disclosing the extra cost of the guacamole/sour cream. The employee at the register was very friendly. Overall, I was pleased with my visit.

My go to spot for fresh breakfast and lunch! I love the variety and quick service for made-to-order meals; quality is great and consistent. The staff is very kind and helpful; Veronica is personable and keeps things running smoothly. Soup is fresh daily. And prices are competitive for the area! I highly recommend. (Can't recommend the breakfast burrito and latte enough!)

This place is a decent spot to sit down for some quick breakfast but the terrible country music they play all the time makes me want to leave.

A wonderful place to get breakfast and lunch on Montgomery Street. Extremely clean cooking and food, and a friendly staff that makes my day every time I visit. Lots of seating and a very lively environment. My favorite is the breakfast burrito with Chorizo, however, every dish I have had here has been amazing. I highly recommend coming here and trying the burritos, sandwiches, and honestly, it's all really good! Even if there's a line, you can always get your food very quickly. Absolutely delicious! I would give it more stars if I could! 10 out of 10!

Best ever meal replacement smoothie or post workout. Peanut buttercup with added supplement of protein and banana. Delicious, filling and high quality ingredients. Staff is super friendly! Highly recommend this place!

I can't say enough good things about Cafe Venue. Not only is the food always tasty, fresh and good quality but they also have a huge variety. I love that they have so many breakfast options as well as lunch, plus their smoothies are delicious. The staff is always warm and welcoming, making it a rare gem in the downtown area. Prices are great and the ambiance is clean and modern. I always take my food to go, but it would also be a nice place to sit if I had the time.

Tasty breakfast burritos. Bacon, chrorrizo, cheese. Anything you want. The best in downtown. And they also offer strong hot coffee. So glad to back in the City! And I'm glad Cafe Venue is still open for breakfast Matt says check this place out

I work in an office building nearby and always make sure to pick up a breakfast sandwich every day I'm in office! So CONSISTENTLY delicious and convenient and affordable. Grabbed lunch instead of breakfast today and the Caesar salad is one of the best in town (but don't tell everyone!)

Best breakfast spot in the Financial District. Awesome breakfast burritos, fruit salads, yogurt n granola, avocado toast, and lunch salad & sandwiches. Fast friendly service, and a small amount of indoor & outdoor seating -- or just take it to go! The manager Veronica is amazing and super friendly. Our office uses them all the time for catering but staff also just enjoy dropping in to grab a quick tasty bite. Try them, you'll like it!

I get my coffee and chia cocoa pudding on my way to the office twice a week, and an occasional lunch with coworkers too. The salads are my favorite and am a fan of the avo toast with egg as an option The service is consistently friendly, fast and easy. The coffee bar staff greet you and are immediately attentive to customers. The tables, counters and cutlery areas are always clean too. I haven't tried the green juices and smoothies but want to. Prices are a little lower than similar surrounding restaurants which keeps me coming back. Highly recommend.

Perfect place to grab lunch during work! It is in the same slightly inflated price range as most options downtown are, but delicious sandwiches and salads as well as a combo option for less than $20. I got the 1/2 caesar and Brussels salad and 1/2 steak sandwich and they were both great. Definitely will be coming back :)

Cafe Venue has been my goto for many years, way before covid until this day. Been a regular for so many years, the team knows me and everytime I step in, Veronica, the manager, greets me and make sure I get my order asap! I always pre order on their site and they always make sure I'm taken care of. Food is always good, I get the avocado toast. Being greeted with food ready is always a great start to my day. Will always go to them for breakfast!

Solid tuna melt sandwich! Had tried their breakfast burritos a few times in the past and was underwhelmed but the tuna melt was great. Can't wait to try more lunch time items.

Superb food & service quality! Menu items are impeccably fresh. I especially love how they can take a delicious salad or sandwich item of theirs and convert to a wrap. Prices are reasonable, you're getting what you pay for in quality & quantity.

Oh yes, yes, yes, I know Cafe Venue from their Fremont Street location. I was always in a rush, rush, rush and joining somebody else who was in a rush, rush, rush. Maybe that's why my blood pressure went up when I saw this cafe in a more central FiDi location. But I was in a slow mood because I came in well after the lunch rush to order the $9.29 Asian Market Salad. It certainly wasn't a bad price for the FiDi. It was piled especially high with mixed greens, shaved brussel sprouts, peppers, edamame, carrot, and of course, crispy wonton strips because that's so Asian (photo: http://bit.ly/2TIt9S5). The toasted sesame ginger dressing was a bit much and drenched the salad, but it was still decent enough. The dining room in the back was empty and surprisingly relaxing for 2:30 in the afternoon. I may even come back when I'm not in a rush, rush, rush. Cafe Venue has THE BEST breakfast burritos. My boss, who is very picky, loves the bacon burrito w/o cheese and don't forget to ask for an extra side of salsa! I use Cafe Venue for catering breakfast, either pick-up or delivery, depending on how many people we need to feed. I usually ask them to cut in half so employees can eat different kinds. Veronica is amazing to work with as she will accept my order the night before for pick-up and for delivery you need to give her 24 hours notice. Everyone working at CV is super nice and I cannot stress enough how much I appreciate them. They do have non-meat items. My favorites are the chocolate chia pudding and smoothies when I feel like a burrito is too much. I usually order 3 - 4 times a week for two weeks out of the quarter, so having them close by is doubly good. Thank you, Veronica and team!

I work nearby Cafe Venue (218 Montgomery Street) and have been getting lunch salads from them for the past 18 months. So many salad places nearby charge far more, often mess up the order (No beets, please. #getsapileofbeets), or don't inspect the greens for those bits that have already started rotting. One popular chain salad store nearby on Kearny street has sold me fresh made salads (with beets) and I've found large clumps of squished-together rotten greens. This has never happened at Cafe Venue, they are reliable and very friendly.

My favorite breakfast spot in the city. Staffs friendly, quick and efficient. Amazing breakfast burrito! The salads and sandwiches for lunch are also delicious. I wish they had longer hours some days but I understand the city is a little different now!

One of my favorite spots downtown for a great breakfast or lunch. Everyone there is incredibly kind and helpful, the food is great especially their sandwiches and breakfast burritos. Delicious high quality food, quick and easy!! Definitely worth a try and a great place to enjoy coffee and food with friends. Good amount of seating inside as well.

Really love this place. Follow your nose to the scent of bacon and roasted breakfast potatoes, and enter Cafe Venue. At first glance, you can really see the energy and enthusiasm of the folks who work there. They are friendly, and run this place efficiently and expertly. What stands out is you can get a healthy breakfast or lunch here. Their breakfast burritos are superb, and the perfect size (not too larger, not too small). Their salty goodness is evident. They also have fresh juices, and smoothies. Love their sandwiches and wraps, and salads too. I can't say enough good about this place. They even have plenty of seating if you want to stay and enjoy your coffee or lunch.

My new fave lunch spot!! Even though it's a bit of a walk for me, I don't mind it since the prices here are so much better than other salad places. There's also plenty of seating inside if you want to eat there. I have only tried the Caesar Salad and Brussels Sprouts and that may be the only salad I ever get because I love Caesar Salad!!! But let me tell you, their size is huge! It's enough for one and a half meals for me... I like that they have a lot of variety. There's soup and sandwiches and you can do combos, I believe. I just tried the Blueberry Citrus smoothie and that was cheap as well! I wanted to try something different than a strawberry and banana smoothie and they had one with blueberries. I think I would try another smoothie next time. I love their prices (for Financial District) and I don't mind the walk so I will definitely be back!!

Downtown has been waiting for this place! it's a Gem! Veronica makes sure the service is fast! & efficient! The Food is very good! Bagels and Bread & Carmen makes the perfect Latte!! I have no problem recommending Cafe Venue To my friends & colleagues! I'll be back!

Probably one of the better places I've had lunch, but some mishaps. My work ordered from here through DoorDash for lunch today and I ordered a sandwich and salad combo as well as a matcha latte. Unfortunately, I was given a cup of soup instead of the salad I ordered. They got the chicken sandwich right though, and it was honestly one of the better sandwiches I've had in SF. All the elements within it went very well together. I especially liked the Tuscan tomato relish and I thought it had such great depth of flavor and added nice creaminess too. The chicken was just okay - it seemed like the chicken though was just a basic chicken breast cut up so there was nothing special, so all the other components really brought it up. The soup I got was some sort of jalapeño cheddar soup which I thought was actually pretty solid. Good flavor and depth too. The matcha latte was a miss for me though. Upon taking my first few sips, I found it extremely bitter. I took the lid off and saw a ton of clumps on it. The matcha doesn't seem to be of great quality either. If you ever stop by, get the Tuscan chicken sandwich, but skip the drinks.

What a gem, love this place for breakfast, lunch or snack. Super clean, the menu is healthy and offering many options, the staff is polite and always ready to help. I have arrived 5 minutes before closing and they would make whatever I wanted and let me sit and enjoy the lunch. Superior customer service. The avocado toast is so delicious, breakfast burrito with smoke pork is great, love the chia pudding with bananas, the salads are fresh and healthy, the super green smoothie is also delish. Have been going to this place for 17 years. Love it!
