Cafe Vietnam Truck

I was craving for some Vietnamese food and this truck did not disappoint! My husband got the chicken meatball rice bowl and vegan egg rolls while I got the vegan tofu curry. The egg rolls were crispy, fresh, and delicious. I normally am not into egg rolls but l can tell you my husband did not manage to even get a bite before I inhaled them. We ended up placing a second order for more egg rolls. The chicken meatballs were juicy and flavorful. I never see this anywhere so now I have to come back when I'm craving for more. We really enjoyed the tofu curry as well. The portions were generous and I was stuffed afterwards. The prices are definitely reasonable for what you get.

I don’t get it but this is nothing like the pictures. Food looks old, I’m not sure if that was supposed to be a bed of fries or a garnish of fries but they are clearly the leftovers. The chicken egg rolls were burnt and soaked in oil. I didn’t eat it. Just threw it out. $14 goodbye and cannot recommend. Just go to your to your local brick and mortar Vietnamese restaurant :(

How....Do....You Sell....FRIED RICE.....that isnt prepared...by FRYING THE RICE????? The food was below sub Par. First of all, half the dish is just filler, cilantro a few cucumbers and air. I ordered the PORK BELLY FRIED RICE - First of all, the dish was not fried rice, it was just regular rice, the veggies were not fresh, they were like the ones from the frozen food section, there was no egg, the description said it included scrambled egg and a fried egg on top. The rice wasnt even seasoned, I mean COME ON GUYS, you cant ask for top shelf prices and not deliver a tasty meal. 15 dollar street food fried rice should be flavorful, fresh and satisfying.... you fell short on this one.

The dishes here are so creative and delicious that I can't find in any vietnamese restaurants. They combined Vietnamese and Western cuisine to create many dishes that satisfy all people. I love the braised pork belly, it's chewy, juicy, and craving. 9/10

I love this truck! The ingredients are super fresh which makes the flavors in each dish really pop. I've tried their braised pork belly rice bowl, loved it and highly recommend it! The savory flavors of the pork belly worked so well with the cucumbers, peppers and cilantro and there was just enough sauce on the rice. I will definitely come back to try the Pork Belly Mac N Cheese and some of their Banh Mi!

TEN stars if I could. Where to start? One of the best in LA. Hired these guys for personal and corporate events and they ALWAYS impress. Food served hot and fast. Generous portions. Crispy delicious spring rolls. Had been a while so decided to re-try the brisket, chicken, AND pork belly. I won't tell you my favorite as that would impossible - in the mood for chicken? Get the chicken. Pork? Same thing. And the crew is always happy. Give them a try NOW

My favorites are bahn mi sandwich and pork belly bowl! The sandwich bread is amazing, fresh and fluffy. Doesn’t leave you feel stuffed like the sandwiches usually do. And so soft and moist. Pickled carrots and daikon add slightly tart flavor that I love. And ofcourse can’t go wrong with avocado smoothie. Never heard of it before, but was completely blown away. Highly recommended to try!

SOOOOO GOOOOOOD! Was able to grab food from this truck on set and wanted to take the time to write a quick review -- I was really impressed! Had the lemongrass chicken and Vietnamese coffee. Both were delish, and the strong coffee was a great compliment with the savory chicken. So much flavor. Reminded me of when I was back in Vietnam. LOVED IT. Extra bonus points for the super nice staff. He explained that they've been having trouble getting good bread durning the pandemic -- tasted great to me! Can't wait to try again next time. Keep punchin' and props for staying open during these tough times --
