Love, love, love this place. Tiny place in a random little building in the middle of nothing. Don't let this fool you at all. The locals know what's up. This place is awesome!
Mostly local ingredients, and an easy menu for gluten-free folks, vegetarians, and vegans to maneuver through. They also make and sell pastries, cakes, breads (going to try their banana bread VERY soon), gluten-free bread (delicious - have some in my fridge right now!), and great coffee. The first time I went in, I had the Roasted Veggie Bowl with Chicken - super tasty and very comforting to eat. I don't know what the flavors were in there, but they paired well with the rest of the dish.
I have also had their Korma (yellow curry bowl, also with chicken). This was also very comforting and perfectly seasoned. It's mild, though, so if you like spice, this one is probably not for you.
I will also add that I had a coconut chai latte before eating and it was yummy! Not too sweet, very creamy. My next one will be "dirty". :)
My hubs ordered their jalapeño soup the other day, and is not usually my jam, but I tried some and it was spicy and warmed me right up. I think it has a good amount of cheese in it, though, because I had an urge to dip a chip in it, lol.
Oh, and the staff is soooo friendly and accommodating. Very kind, offering tips for rewarming foods -- ooh, speaking of rewarming, they also sell frozen breakfast empanadas, soups, and such in their freezer!
We are currently in Cape Coral and we only found this place through my daughter across the country, because she wanted to buy us a lunch at a place I could actually eat at (I'm gluten free). I give her all the credit for finding this place and I'm very grateful, as we'll be returning again and again!
Such a great little place!!!
