I visited Cafe Zamek at Castle Square — a lovely spot inside the Royal Castle with a charming historical interior. Stylish furniture, elegant chandeliers, and panoramic views of the castle garden create a beautifully aristocratic ambiance . The coffee and desserts are delicious—especially the cake and mushroom soup, which I really enjoyed . The service is friendly, though it can be a bit slow during peak hours . Prices are a bit higher than at regular cafes, but you’re really paying for the unique experience. Great place for a relaxing break after exploring the Old Town or for a leisurely tea.

Lovely place inside the royal castle looks very total and glamorous with nice old ornaments service was nice but a bit slow.. l food was okay but I can’t comment on dinner or lunch since I ordered coffee and dessert. Prices middle range you can pay with card or cash. They have menus in English and polish

Adjacent to the Royal Castle, there is Cafe Zamek. It's like stepping back in time to some elegant bygone age - smart waiting staff will take your order as you sit at a table looking out across the terrace towards the river. All that's missing is the music and people dancing! It's a beautiful setting and it wasn't at all crowded. The coffee we had was ok - no better, no worse than many others we had in Warsaw. And I note from other reviews that some people didn't rate the service but ours was okay and we didn't have to wait long for our drinks to arrive. After trudging round the place for an hour or so, this was a refreshment to mind, body and soul.

Great location, lovely assortment of food and drinks. Love the aesthetic, definitely visit again, especially for family and Polish celebrations

Very nice staff, we had a great waiter, the food is terrible compared to the location and the staff. The cold soup was average, not great, not terrible. The duck was terrible, it wasn't marinated and it had this unpleasant smell and taste, the duck wasn't skinned and the feathers were on the skin - if the cooks are too lazy to rip everything out, then serve the duck without the skin. Terribly expensive. Keep in mind that you'll pay for a nice view and a nice waiter.

Usually you can only sit outside so it’s not that different from other restaurants nearby, though it’s still slightly better in terms of atmosphere as it locates higher. However in terms of the quality of food, the portion of the soup is about 1/3 the size normally served in Poland and tastes worse than a 5PLN soup in any milk bar. The main dish also looks like something from milk bar but on fancy plates. The apple pie tasted powdery, which im not sure if apple pies in Poland do taste like that, but the one I had in Gdańsk wasn’t like that.

A bit intimidating, as there is a division between cafe (if you only order coffee and cake) and restaurant (if you order food), the latter more cosy and decorated. We wanted both. No water jugs available :( only 750 ml bottles. And, we waited quite a bit for the ready food. So much for the downside, the rest is all downhill ;) Food was lovely. A bit pricey, but manageable if you earn in euro. After all, if you eat at the Castle... the view is well worth it. Retro atmosphere (beautiful old Polish music, from 1920s to 1980s). Generally, a nice intermission between sightseeing and souvenir-shopping.

Nice place but very slow service. As about food is ok. However atmosphere is excellent one.
