Went here for brunch with a friend on Sunday and had an amazing experience! The patio is beautiful, full of greenery that makes the atmosphere super inviting. Service was incredibly fast, and every question or request we had was handled right away. The food is authentic and packed with flavor! There’s truly no shortage of it. Both salsas were delicious, and the red one had a nice little kick that elevated the breakfast tacos to another level. If you’re looking for a tasty, authentic Mexican brunch spot, look no further!

Google
Look no further for your next girls brunch destination! Adorable cafe and bar in this beautifully restored historic shop on magnolia is just good vibes all around. I’ve been here several times now and have enjoyed dining on the patio and inside and at the bar. Great service, fun atmosphere, delicious coffee and drinks and good solid food. I say girls brunch but my husband and son enjoyed it just as much. We recommend the brisket tacos, chilaquiles, strawberry pancakes, mole pollo, margaritas, palomas and save room for arroz con leche. Solid 2 thumbs up!

Rachel A.

Google
This is, by far, the best and cutest spot I’ve been to in a while. The atmosphere is beautiful and calming. Everyone that works there is very friendly and welcoming. I forgot to get the name of the waitress that served us but she was fantastic as well. The food was PHENOMENAL. We got the arroz con leche and nopalitos con huevo. When I tell you that this food can give you instant nostalgia, I mean it. The minute I smelled the arroz con leche, it took me back to my childhood. To top it off, the coffee is unforgettable. I absolutely need one of these built closer to me although I truly will continue to make the hour drive until there is one! Keep up the good work guys! You care and it shows. Thank you for a great first experience

Google
Worth the wait. This place gets pretty packed but it is well worth it, the food is so simple and delicious, very authentic and the coffee is amazing! They also serve a variety of cocktails in case you wanted to start your day with a bloody Mary or margarita, highly recommend! We went on a Saturday at 11am and waited about 20min for a table for 2.

Google
This place is awesome! Decor is very cute. Flowers and pink everywhere! We had the sweetest waitress. Very attentive and helpful. I loved the pink tortillas. We shared the breakfast chorizo and egg taco plate and cactus and eggs. Both very good. The olla coffee was good but the pumpkin spice horchata latte was the best. I can't wait to come back.

Joel H.

Google
I’ve eaten here twice, lunch first and then breakfast next week. It was incredible. They definitely go hard with the pink ambiance and it works! The chips and salsa were really good. The lunch tacos were so good, I had the 3 different kinds and it was too difficult to say which was best. The chorizo and egg burrito was good, made delectable by adding the salsa that comes with it. Will likely become a regular here.

Google
Their coffee is so freaking good!! 10 out of 10!! Servers are amazing very nice! Pan dulce nice and soft very good flavor.... the food I'm not going to lie it's mediocre it's still good definitely going to go back but nothing special to be honest my boyfriend had a Taco plate and I had the chilaquiles

Google
I scheduled a breakfast date with my cousin that was here from out of town. I walked in about 830 A.M. was sat down and waited until my cousin arrived. It started to get busier about 9ish 9:30. The server was very attentive. I can’t remember his name, but it was a guy that was very well, groomed and handsome. Now let’s get to the rating. The food was great and filling. The smell of the coffee was the best. I could smell the coffee with a hint of cinnamon. Very clean place and the pink ambience topped it off. Very demure and cutesy. I will be back!

Yelp
Give it a chance, I think I had an isolated experience. The food stall on 8th and magnolia is pretty decent so I was excited to support the new opening of their restaurant. The wait was long and organized but I was happy they had a line. The interior was very pink and trendy like a hipster hello kitty vomited on the walls. In a good way. Good space with plenty of seating, our server was very nice though she was very forgetful and messed up each order. We sat down and ordered our latte assortment. They were mostly good but that's just based on preference . Our server messed up an order but no biggie it happens. We ordered food and she almost dropped the menudo, had avocado on the order that requested none, and gave us the wrong burrito. I don't mean to be harsh but the beans tasted canned, and the menudo was flavorless. As a Mexican going to Mexican food restaurant I expect you to at least get the beans right. The menudo is something I wouldn't place in front of someone but I know that's a hard one for restaurants. The bathrooms don't lock and aren't labeled so it's like a fun twist like a reverse escape room. In classic Hispanic manner I didn't complain or send anything back. (Mom are you proud?) The glasses used for the water smelled. Maybe they just rushed to open. This is why you have soft openings. Not even the water was pleasant. The chilaquiles were mid. I will return for the coffee and a taco to go. Seriously the cafe de olla cold brew was bomb but pricey. The food also makes for a good picture. It's very photogenic so they nailed that.

Yelp
We went to the soft open at the new location on Magnolia. The space is great and they will have a large patio open out back when the weather is nicer. Food was good. Their tacos are always a winner. They now have a bar, unlike their old location. They are just transitioning from a walk-up counter venue to a whole new full service seated dining concept. They are working g out the kinks, so please be patient and give them time.

Paola C.

Yelp
Best breakfast tacos & cute aesthetic girly theme. All the food is amazing. Their new location is very spacious. I love how their salsa are actually spicy and they have handmade tortillas. I love coming here!

Yelp
Service- Patient & Nice lady working at the register. Open & clean space. Plenty of seating. Parking in the morning is very easy as other businesses aren't open at this time. Food- I'll be back! Going to work my way around the menu. I ordered a Tropical Fruit Bowl- Watermelon, Cucumber, Pineapple, Mango topped with lime juice, tajin & chamoy. I requested the tajin & chamoy on the side. Very good & fresh! Breakfast Taco- Good as well, nice size. 1 was perfect for me, but I would recommend two if ordering tacos only. Everything was packaged well, traveled well to my destination.

Lupe C.

Yelp
In my opinion completely overrated. I payed $18 for a burrito and a coffee which is insane. The coffee tasted like drip coffee with cinnamon added not authentic cafe de olla. The brisket burrito had good taste but needed salt and the amount of salsa they give doesn't even cover half of the burrito. There were also a few potatoes included with the burrito which definitely needed seasonings. I had been excited to come here but I don't think I will be back.

Yelp
Finally got a chance to try out this cute spot! Went for brunch on a busy Saturday! It was a long wait (50ish minutes) but it was expected since it was only their second week open. The service was amazing! Loved the cafe de la olla. The menudo was flavorful and had good spice, very good portions. The pink tortillas were actually very good and soft. My Mexican mom loved everything and wants to go back to try the rest of the menu
google avatar

Julisa P.

Yelp
This spot is pretty authentic. The tortillas I can tell are fresh. Not taken out a bag. I had a flour taco with beans and cheese and the tortilla was something my mom would have made. The corn taco I had with huevos a la Mexicana was really good, my only downside was it lacked salt. But the corn tortilla is really good. Tasted fresh... my husband had the loco burrito I think it's called. Chose four fillings plus beans and the tortillas and flavor was on point. From the avocado... to the barbacoa it was on point. Only thing my husband was bummed about was coffee selections. He expected to see more flavors or options. But the food was on point

Yelp
The Best in both food quality and service!! Lovely place little gem !! The staff is amazing. Their concha's amazing!!

Yelp
I had been wanting to try this place for a while for their signature pink tacos. Finally had the chance to stop by and let me tell you I was not disappointed. I ordered three tacos. I got one potato and egg, one chorizo and egg, and one spicy beef. Although all their tacos were good, my favorite was the spicy beef taco! I found it to be super flavorful and delicious. My friend got tostadas and she gave me one to try and it was spectacular. To drink I had their cold brew coffee and it was nice and strong. The service was friendly and the place was cute, with a nice flower wall. ***One thing I was very annoyed by was the parking situation. Parking is free for two hours but you do get a ticket on your car anyway and then you have to go back inside for them to comp it. It's a weird system. This is not Cafecito's fault, it's the landlord!!***

Hannah B.

Yelp
We love Cafecito!! We have been eating there since it started off as a food truck, we were so excited for their opening of the new location!! The new location is so so cute!! I love that they kept the old signs in the front of the building. And I also love their design style and attention to detail. I ordered a to-go order and waited in their cute sitting area. I really got to take in all the details, and you can tell there is so much love and passion put into this place!!!! The hostess took my order and was super friendly, she recommended the Mexican vanilla late and it was delish!! Not too sweet and I love the blend of coffee they use. Got my food quickly, I ordered one of my favorites the chilaquiles verde and it tasted amazing as always! I'm exited to try new food items on their menu at our next visit!!!
google avatar

I love p h o.

Yelp
Only had the breakfast tacos. Dry tortillas, cold eggs and not enough of it. Not worth 3+ dollars per taco. Salsa, customer service, atmosphere are good tho.
google avatar

Angry L.

Yelp
Food was okay. It wasn't worth the wait and made my stomach hurt. I felt nauseous while eating this and had to to-go the food. I hope my dog is gonna be okay eating this ;(

Dylan P.

Yelp
Just went today new locations prices are heavily inflated, service was extremely lacking for a sit down location, atmosphere was great. Food was decent definitely not as good as it was previously. The whole point of the previous location was affordability and ease of access (no wait) for great food.
google avatar

Jennifer C.

Yelp
My favorite place for a quick and authentic Mexican breakfast! I've tried several things on the menu and haven't had one bad item. My favorite are the brisket burritos. Generous portion of brisket. Molletes and chilaquiles are also great. The place itself is also super cute with friendly staff. Give this place a try!
google avatar

Teresa B.

Yelp
Tacos were on point!! Cute lil place Staff was very nice and our tacos came out fast!

Yelp
Located in a cool space off 8th street close to hospital district in Ft Worth. Lots of eateries to choose from here. Although, many are only open certain hours. Husband had the 2 (pictured) tacos and I had the burrito (vegan style, which was a nice offering). All had very good flavor. The pink corn tortillas on the tacos were fun. My husband said he would get a burrito next time since the filling was significantly more and basically the same as 2 tacos, which the filling was rather sparse. When we left, we got an iced Mexican coffee. Served in a cute glass bottle lightly sweetened with cinnamon. The amount of cinnamon was a bit much for Me but over all good. At $8.50, it's a bit pricey, but you get to keep the glass bottle. Will definitely return. PS Pendery's is just up the street if you need herbs & spices---check them out. An adult field trip!!

Yelp
I had a chorizo and egg breakfast burrito. Food was OK, although the tortilla was a little dry. Main thing I didn't like was that the place was in a little generic food court. Kind of felt like I was in the mall. Once they get going a little better, I hope they make their dining room more pleasant. On the plus side, their service was excellent. 6 a.m. in the morning, and the cashier was pleasant and smiling. Even brought my food out to me.
google avatar

Michael V.

Yelp
Wow! These have to be some of the best breakfast tacos in Fort Worth. They use fresh handmade tortillas that are absolutely delicious. I normally do not like corn tortillas, they tend to be really dry. These were so good! They were soft and had a great consistency! The chips and salsa were fantastic as well. All of the staff was extremely courteous and friendly, very sweet people. I was really impressed and will definitely add this to my regular rotation. Truly an amazing experience!

Yelp
Cafecito is a food truck that was in the parking lot of Hotel Revel/Wabi/White Rhino..whatever you want to call this area. It has replaced the Nashville hot chicken place in the Funky town food hall. Breakfast tacos, breakfast burritos, sincronizada (quesadilla), and mollete. Mollete is an open faced torta. That's what I got with a choice of as is, barbacoa, or brisket. It was really good. Flavorful. I really liked both salsas. It came with onions, cilantro, meat, avocado, and beans. I liked it, but I don't think I would get it again. Husband got the chorizo, egg, and cheese burrito, I believe. Tortillas are homemade.

Christie N.

Yelp
Love this place! Had a crazing for their delicious stuffed flautas, yummy rice & beans. Ordered online, parking was strangely easy this trip, walked in & it was ready. Friendly service. Delicious food. One day I will stay and eat - it's so cute in there.

Elizabeth C.

Yelp
the srevice was amazing the food was delicious this is the best place the people working here was amazing and very friendly, nice people.
google avatar

Angelina C.

Yelp
First off, how fun is the pink corn tortilla?! So cute! I believe this place started off as a food truck and recently replaced the burning mouth place in the little food court! Seating is spacious as it's in the court with sharetea and oberhere! The menu is in Spanish but pretty self explanatory, you can always ask the cashier for any questions! I had the barbacoa taco and chorizo con huevos which were great. I really liked the sauces provided with the tacos and they were definitely a decent size! The only thing is I wish they had water cups (they do sell other beverages). Overall, pretty good! I'll definitely come back to try out other things on the menu.

Yelp
So authentic! Staff is always great and answers questions well. The servings are very reasonable for the price. I love the sicronizada with brisket. They give so much avocado with it. The coffee shocked me - it is sweet and has this subtle spice that reminds me of the holidays

Kevin V.

Yelp
Chile con carne burrito was okay. Menudo is usually my go to, but unfortunately they had run out by the time I got there. Our waitress Ivette was very attentive and polite the entire time. She provided exceptional service and made the experience much more enjoyable!

Mariel B.

Yelp
The food does not taste the same as their previous location. I ordered the chicken flautas & while they were okay the rice and beans had a burnt taste. The napkins had a smell to them. Even though the food was not that good our server Ivette was great! Super attentive and sweet. Definitely made our visit more enjoyable.
google avatar

Nicole T.

Yelp
My sister took me here for a quick and easy late breakfast. Easily one of the best breakfast tacos I've had in years. The pink tacos are adorable, and is a great way to start the day. I had the brisket, papas and la mexicana, and papas con chorizo. They were all delicious, and I would recommend all three. I'll definitely be back for another great breakfast!
google avatar

Luis S.

Yelp
From food trailer to food hall restaurant, breakfast & brunch with homestyle tacos, burritos and more. They are known for their signature pink corn tortillas & fresh flour tortillas. This is a mother-daughter operation, Cinthya & Yaneth. Mom in the kitchen and daughter is every where else. I ordered: *Tacos! - ham & egg, bean & cheese, barbacoa, papas a la Mexicana and spicy beef. *Cold Brew Latte Everything was delicious! Bussin bussin. Bet. Service was on point. Standouts: barbacoa, tortillas (both flour & corn) & cold brew latte. I'll be going back for more every chance I get. Beware of the spicy beef. It packs a punch that lingers.

Ian I.

Yelp
The food is absolutely awsome, The tortillas are fresh, definitely recommend coming here. The sweet bread is very good as well. Perfect coffee. Perfect for a daytime date

Tyler L.

Yelp
I drove with my wife around 20 minutes to support the grand opening, only to wait 30 minutes inside just to be put on the waitlist. After finally they put us to wait on the patio with my dog, I was then told after almost an hour of waiting that no servers were working the patio. The place was not even packed, and yet they couldn't be bothered to send a waiter outside. On top of that, the owner was incredibly disrespectful and didn't make any effort to accommodate me. No one even asked if I wanted to get food to-go or offered any other solution. I come here frequently, but after this experience, I'm beyond disappointed with how this was handled.

Grisela M.

Yelp
I drove 20 min to come support the Grand opening. Waited 30 minutes inside to just be put on the waitlist. Finally went on the patio to wait until my name was called. As I'm waiting outside with my dog. I was then told no servers were working the patio while I already went through the process of being there for almost an hour to be told this. Not even asked if I wanted to get to-go food or anything. I come from a family restaurant business as well and I definitely would have handled this differently. I go here frequently and definitely disappointed of how this was handled.

Yelp
10/10 a MUST try. Absolutely delicious tacos, menudo, coffee and much more. Check it out asap!
google avatar

Jennifer P.

Yelp
Cafecito es delicioso! Three reasons to visit: (1) BEST BARBACOA (beef) as well as frijoles con queso (bean and cheese) tacos that you will ever eat... promise! (2) Corn tortillas are yummy, hand-pressed, soft, thick, and pink :-) (3) Service is quick and kind (thank you!). Bonus: Plenty of seating inside the food court are off Hurley St at 8th Ave (block from Magnolia). Challenge to find parking... but it's the Magnolia area so we accept, patiently park, and quickly order an AMAZING meal. We definitely will return OFTEN.

Erika R.

Yelp
Papa huevo on flour tortilla and papa a la mexicana on corn tortilla. Flavor was great. Tortillas are homemade and freshly made. They don't serve regular coffee though. Service was friendly. Ambiance - clean and good music - Selena!
google avatar

Ryan C.

Yelp
Excellent authentic Mexican staples. From the smells of the mollete bread and the cafe de olla to the spiciness of the chilaquiles and the quality of the tortillas, cafecito is outstanding. Easily top Mexican breakfast place in DFW. Keep up the great work, cafecito!
google avatar

Claudia R.

Yelp
The food is good HOWEVER they don't wipe down the trays. They reuse them over and over. Have fun with flu season and covid season here. Eeeeks.

Cole T.

Yelp
Clean restaraunt with absolutely incredible food. Barbacoa taco was perfectly juicy and the tortilla was toasted immaculately. Chorizo, egg, and potato burrito was 10/10. Kind service from staff.
google avatar

Jasmin J.

Yelp
I love cafecito! It's such a cute place to run and get some tacos or burritos. I've been here twice only because the first time I went they messed up my order, but I knew it was an honest mistake. But I couldn't leave a review based off of that, so I gave them a second chance and got a bean and cheese burrito and a taco of papa a la mexicana! I will definitely be bringing my boyfriend, best friends, and everyone here. I always do an online order because I come on my break, but they are fast and accurate. The staff is so friendly and nice, they always look happy to be in the truck.
google avatar

John B.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the breakfast! Fresh made to order and delicious. Excellent service as well. Had the tacos and burritos.
google avatar

Leon G.

Yelp
The food is okay I'm not a big fan it feels like Mexican food not for Mexicans. Tacos are like 3-4 dollars and are pretty small but they're pink so hey let's give them that I'm not a big fan the service wasn't that great after I pressed no tip like I'm not tipping you for placing my order cool novelty place definitely no where I'd eat twice
google avatar

K S.

Yelp
Do you like brisket?! Do you like breakfast tacos and burritos? This is it! So good! Very quick service as well
google avatar

Lori M.

Yelp
Ordered four kinds of breakfast tacos and they were great. Comes with green sauce and red sauce. My personal favorite was the green sauce. Kind of spicy but very tasty. Homemade flour tortillas. Coffee was very tasty (my husband says). Definitely coming back here.
google avatar

Delia A.

Yelp
Such good food amazing service and they're pretty quick . The ambience is nice love the pink
google avatar

Thuy L.

Yelp
Amazing food and great customer service! The barbacoa tacos by far my favorite! Not to mention the coffee is a must try! Loved it!! Highly recommend coming out to try the authentic Mexican food!
google avatar

Carmen D.

Yelp
Had a few minutes to kill so we decided to come try this cute restaurant. It's inside of a cool food hall place that features 3 different businesses. The tables are set up like a dining hall and the place is warm and inviting. We only tried cafecito today and it was delicious. The staff was more than helpful and patient as i chose which menu items we would try today. I ordered 3 tacos, papas con juevo, barbacoa, and carne con chili. My husband ordered the brisket burrito all of them were equally delicious. My favorite was the carne con chili. Sooo spicy but soo good! We will for sure be back because my hubby wants to try the chilaquiles!

Frances F.

Yelp
Good coffee and tacos, very cute aesthetic. Is in a food-hall type building but still enjoyable
google avatar

Greg B.

Yelp
Wonderful breakfast tacos at Cafecito -- wasn't sure what to expect from a pink corn tortilla, but it was delicious and I highly recommend it. I also loved the iced cold brew (Cafe de Olla), which was richly flavorful with cinnamon. Double appreciation for their outstanding customer service. I picked up my food on my last morning in Fort Worth, leaving my wallet at the restaurant. By the time I realized it they were closed and I had to get to the airport. I called the next day and they offered to mail it to me (!) out of state. A week later, it was back in my hands! THANK YOU for being honest and doing that extra favor to a stranger. I'm grateful and I'll be back!
google avatar

Jeanice K.

Yelp
We did not enjoy the food at all. It was tasteless. We eat breakfast tacos often, we won't be back.

Rick R.

Yelp
I ordered online from my hospital bed and can tell you after 12 days of hospital food it was the most glorious taco I have ever eaten. The green salsa was perfect, not too spicy, just enough. Everything was very fresh. All items were packed really neatly and professionally. It just made it taste all that much better. How this order got to my room is a miracle. Thanks for a great breakfast. It was just what the doctor ordered!!
