Cafecito Organico Atwater

Organic coffee is hard to come by, but perfectly executed organic coffee is even harder! Cafecito is the best coffee in LA! And the staff and incredibly kind and warm. It’s a neighborhood feel and my go to coffee shop.

I love the espresso here and the quiche Lorraine is out of this world. The environment is beautiful and so aesthetically pleasing. The prices are so fair and reasonable it’s refreshing, and to be honest I feel like you are getting a lot more than you pay for. The staff is always super friendly, approachable, and helpful. They really embody what a local cafe should be.

Was shown this spot by my girlfriend, and happy to say I live close enough to come as frequently as I can! SOLID coffee, latte’s, dirty chai’s to Cafecito and especially their ham sandwich warmed up! It’s all bangers at cafecito, and I know bangers!!!

Out of the three coffee shops in Atwater Village town center, Cafecito Organico is my favorite. Better coffee, better service. Not only because it roasts its own beans, but also because it makes and presents coffee in a more serious way. I usually finish my Wednesday runs at Atwater Bridge so coming to Cafecito Organico becomes sort of a routine. I would get a cortado, have a chat with Summer, one of the baristas there, then stretch my legs in their tiny sunny curbside seating area. Despite the slightly inconvenient location, this walk-up window gets a constant flow of customers, which is a good sign. Cafecito Organico has the independent, almost obscure coffee shop vibe that I like. It might be a personal thing, drinking coffee here makes me feel like a local.

Coffee is superb. This place is fantastic. My usual place wasn’t open yet (7A on a Saturday), so went to google so what was open, glad I didn’t have to resort to a Coffee Bean. I ordered my usual, espresso and a coffee. They were both fantastically brewed, and aromatic and flavorful. Can’t wait to come again, a new gem of Atwater.

All time classic fav! I was in the neighborhood, and wanted a coffee buzz. The employees were the absolute kindest folks, the coffee had great depth & flavor, and I liked that the place is tucked away around a corner. Definitely stop by for a grab n go coffee, or to re-up your supply of freshly roasted coffee beans!

Not a fan Lots of small reasons: 1. For me, the coffee is way too sour 2. My kids didn't even like their hot cocoas (a first - ever) 3. Cashier was distracted and hard to hear. 4. The drinks took a very long time, and there really wasn't anyone there. 5. My "heated up mushroom pastry was cold inside On the plus side, the prices were reasonable. But then none of us liked our beverages, so really a net negative. All in all, no one thing was really awful, it all just felt lazy. Some like sour coffee and this may be the place for them, so I can't necessarily make that a strike. This seems like a cute neighborhood coffee shop - meant for the Atwater locals who live in walking distance - which I totally dig. I'm just glad it's not my neighborhood coffee shop, though I hope they stick around

Imagine thinking to yourself, boy I want a good coffee but not a big chain just a hole in the wall type of place. Then you stumble upon the greatest literal hole in the wall coffee shop. This place has great espresso and food and just friendly enough staff. 5/5 would recommend. Also the three mini tables are also full which is a great excuse to have a lovely walk in the neighborhood.

You order at the window. No indoor seating. Outdoor seating - yes. They have umbrellas to keep you cool from the sun if you do decide to sit and enjoy your drink and/ or want to have a nice conversation, which is amazing! This is a great spot if you're on the go, which I normally am. I got my og order- an iced vanilla latte with oat milk and it was delicious! The person at the window was super sweet, friendly and made an amazing latte! I definitely recommend. : )

The BEST Cortado I've ever had. Lucked into finding this one early morning. Coffee for coffee drinkers.

Typically I go to the one near my place but I love how friendly the staff is. This location doesn't seem to get as busy as their other location. Their chai with oat and cinnamon is really yummy! Sometimes I'll make it dirty! Coffee is also very good quality! And you have to try their Turkey & Brie sandwich! Love coming here!

Our favorite neighborhood coffee shop. It's totally worth going a little off the beaten path for it. The coffee is amazing and the baristas are so nice. They know us on site and always take time to chat with my kids. It really feels like a community spot. The only thing is that they recently changed their croissants and the new ones are not very good. We used to go several times a week just for the croissants but now we only go to get their beans. Hopefully they bring back the old croissants some day!

Great place to get your fix for great coffee when you're not in the chaotic mix of a Silverlake neighborhood trying to find parking. A walk-up window only, the quality and service are excellent like their original location. The staff is friendly and always welcoming. There is limited outdoor seating along the sidewalk along with some neighborhood parking. Convenient also if you need to hop on the 5 freeway. There is also a small selection of food served too, which is much appreciated on those busy days.

Love their Turkey Brie Sandwich!! And their dirty chai is they best I've ever tasted.

It is challenging to find a place that can make a satisfying Cortado especially if you are traveling. At the risk of having too much caffeine, I had 2 back to back Cortados. It was a great way to end my vacation.

I've been going to this location frequently because sasha the barista has been making what I think is the best cappuccino and espresso in Los Angeles. A must have and they are super quick and nice.

Bad service and ambiance is white preferably, as a person of color I was treated differently. The coffee is also very poor quality and overpriced .

This place has only been open for about two weeks but the barista can whip up a good vanilla latte. I didn't get his name sadly but he was so welcoming and patient. I felt like a regular already even though this was only my first visit. I am normally a cold brew gal but yesterday's weather called for a cozy warm vanilla latte. They have oat milk. They have a few tables set up in the sidewalk. It's not unlike their location in Echo Park, which has a little garden but the coffee spot takes on the personality of the location. Parking is street. Go check them out.

Good location for when you need a quick coffee fix. I used to go to the Silverlake option but parking was always an issue and the crowds there weren't always the friendliest. So I TRULY appreciate this new location that is still close to all the locals. The menu is straight forward, parking is residential, and it's near the freeway so it's super convenient to make a quick stop when you're on the way to somewhere else. They have a table outside for you to use while you wait for your drinks I suppose. There's no indoor seating, it's more of an order at the window and go type of situation. But it's Atwater Village, so if you wanted to pick up coffee and then find the local shops to browse through, that'd be super easy to do too. I would recommend this place if you're in the area.

I love this place! Unfortunately they did not have my favorite blueberry muffin that I come here for but the coffee and the service is always on point.

Good location and service, Caleb was helpful and gave us samples of the 2 coffee beans we were debating to get. Our usual coffee roaster is closed during the holiday week, so we tried the 12 oz package of the Honduras. A bit more expensive than our regular roaster but it was nice to try out this place. Okay

The prices here fluctuate wildly. $8 for an ice coffee? Nah. It's 5 online. This is a consistent problem when visiting the Atwater location. Figure it out.

This is our favorite place to have a delicious relaxed coffee. Last time, though, a new server started putting away the tables and chairs while we were still sitting and enjoying our coffee a half hour before closing. Made us feel quite unwelcome and rushed. Sigh.

Its nice you don't gave to go indoors but the weekend guy is always fist bumping customers which seems rather unsanitary, covid or no covid, gross.

First thing first, it's super low key and in the neighborhood . Perfect place to get your coffee and sandwich and get your move on to the LA River or if you're on the go with the freeway being so close.Good vibes and knowledgeable staff!

Great local roastery. Easy safe ordering window. You can order ahead online. The iced dirty chai is delicious. You can buy their coffee beans also. Sustainable cups with no straws.

This place is a nice little gem tucked away in Atwater Village. I have driven by it a couple of times and have always wanted to try it and finally did. I ordered an iced vanilla oat milk Latte and it was hands down one of the best lattes I have had in awhile. I ordered ahead online and when I got there they told me since they weren't super busy at the moment they wanted to make it for me when I arrived so it would be fresh, which I was super appreciative of. They had some tables outside for seating options and the cashier was super friendly. They have a nice selection of food items and even have vegan options which was a huge plus for me. I will definitely be coming back!

The wait is crazy and it's been the third time in a row they didn't get my order right. Will go back to the original one.

OK, Sunday morning walk with the dog and I see that this place just popped up. The girl behind the counter was the friendliest happiest smiley person I've encountered in a long time. I think this is my first yelp review ever...But I was really inspired to do this. I ordered an iced dirty chai it was one of the best I've ever had, And the yummy little vegan pastry. So if You are in Atwater Village or you are headed towards Silverlake or to the entrance to the I5 from Atwater, stop here!!! There is a takeout window you can just walk up to. It's ballsy to open up any business during COVID So help keep this place alive!!

The brewed coffee is very good, as is the whole bean. Have not tried the food. Like this better than the other couple coffee places along this strip, and it's always less of a "scene". When looking through reviews, I saw one person disappointed about ownership. I was curious about this as I would not want to support a business that falsely claims to be POC-owned. When I searched ownership, it was very easy to learn that at least one of the two owners is, in fact, a person of color. As for the worker wearing an anti-cop mask - all the more reason to support!

Have been here a couple times and have always thought the coffee has been average. The sizes are tiny but cost over $5. I was also disappointed with the turkey and cheese sandwich. Very thin slices of meat and little cheese did not make it a satisfying experience. Also, the barista was wearing a "F**k the police" face mask which ultimately turned me off from wanting to return.

Super dope spot in silver lake. Kinda hidden and if you drive too fast you'll miss it. Ordered a dirty chai and it was delicious! Would definitely come again
