This Cherry Hill restaurant provides an inviting setting with contemporary decor, perfect for a special evening out with your date. The impressive wine list and fresh seafood dishes keep the crowds coming in for more. Beautiful restaurant. Nice staff. The food was delicious!! Got seafood salad appetizer that was a special for the day. Came with spinach, octopus, crab, and shrimp. For entrees, got the crab pasta (cant remember the name) and seared scallops with mushroom risotto. All the seafood was so tender and fresh.

Finally had the opportunity to try this gem of a restaurant! Our server Corey was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive during our lunch. We had the fresh catch of the day which was red snapper and the veal saltimbocca. Both were fabulous! The fish was prepared so nicely and it's probably the best preparation we've had ever. It was still delicate and so fresh, the accompaniment of the spinach and potatoes were definitely prepared with care. I can tell this restaurant prides itself on quality of food, ambience and professionalism by the staff. If you're looking for an incredible Italian meal, Caffe Aldo Lamberti will not disappoint! Highly recommended for casual and fine dining.

Wow! Cool atmosphere. You walk in to a fresh seafood display. The service was top notch tonight. There are a few rooms to have a private party if you need it. The food was super clean. So good! I got the seafood salad, black Sea Bass, and tartufo. The other folks had the halibut, filet, salmon. Everyone really enjoyed their food.

After living in the area for six years, we decided to try Caffe for the first time. Sadly, our instincts were correct and while the location, especially the outside, is desirable, and the staff very attentive, the food was extremely bland. For starters, we ordered the eggplant appetizer and it was chewy, doused in cheese, with 2 small tomatoes. It absolutely needed a red sauce. The Caesar salad and mashed potatoes were decent. We got a crab pasta for dinner, which was oily, and also needed a sauce as it just had cherry tomatoes, and we got the bolognese which was also lacking a flavor profile. This feels like the type of spot your grandparents love, but with so many options in the area and right outside of Philly, the food just can’t compete.

Google
As always Cafe Lamberti is the best fine dining restaurant in South Jersey. The service and the food are always outstanding and tonight was no different. We had antipasto, lamb chops, and bronzini which were all prepared and presented with perfection. The taste quality of all three dishes was superb. Will always continue to celebrate special events at this first class restaurant.

Went with my family for my cousin’s birthday and the food was really good. Our server Chris was really nice and acknowledgeable. We were able to sub noodles which is fantastic. They also went out of their way to decorate the dessert to be a birthday special. Really enjoyed the alla vodka sauce and the fettuccine is wonderful. My family said that the gnocchi was wonderful and the ravioli was good. We also received the appetizer sashimi platter which was delicious

Google
What a great restaurant, from beginning to end. Very nice atmosphere, great service and excellent food. A triple threat. We had a marinated anchovy app as well as sashimi. Both were really tasty. I didn't actually see those apps on the menu, but my friend knew to order them. I also had stone crabs with a side of spaghetti with garlic and oil. Both were excellent! Finished with tiramisu, also delicious.

I am so happy that this restaurant was right next to Safelite®️ I showed up shortly after lunch. I was seated immediately and served wonderful food by very graceful staff. Really, really super outstanding, wonderful place. The variety of 🎶 music 🎶 was nice and not blaring at 108db. Highly recommend.

Yelp
This was my first visit to Aldo Lamberti in years but we had a fantastic experience. Reservations were made to host 20+ people for a birthday celebration in one of their wine cellars. Since wine needs to be stored at a certain temperature, it was a little chilly down there - so dress accordingly if you have that space rented out. The space was plenty big enough to accommodate our party. Alana, our server, was fantastic. She handled just about everything on her own, having food and drink orders delivered in a timely manner and did so with professionalism and grace. Throughout the evening we had a few different drinks. I started with a Hendrix martini with a twist which never disappoints. My fiancé had an espresso martini which was smooth and velvety with a very nice foam on top. I then ordered a Black Manhattan off of their cocktail list which ended up being a top 2 Manhattan I've ever had. I finished up with a Cabernet off of their wine list. We enjoyed all of our cocktails. While I'm not complaining, I was a bit surprised at the prices given the venue and quality. I would have expected the drinks to be a little more expensive. Once everyone arrived, our server brought out multiple Antipastos for the table and some fried calamari to share. The antipasto was a large spread of assorted meats (salami & prosciutto), cheeses, vegetables, and bruschetta. The calamari was lightly fried, crisp and tender, with a mix of rings and tentacles. The dinner menu was a preselected menu with a handful of options to choose from and each came with a salad. My fiancé chose Shrimp Scampi and I had the Lamb Chops. The consensus around the table was the Shrimp Scampi was great - light and buttery. The shrimp was cooked to a firm yet tender texture and the pasta was Al dente. I had my eye on the Lamb Chops while reviewing the menu before arriving and was so happy the were an option as part of our dinner. I asked for them medium rare, which is the temperature our server recommended, and they were cooked to perfection. They were tender and flavorful, and the presentation was beautiful. I wouldn't hesitate to order it again. I was very much impressed with the night we had at Aldo. Our server did such a great job accommodating such a large party and many different requests. The experience in the wine cellar was unique and was spacious enough to comfortably and easily seat 20+ guests. The drinks and food were very enjoyable and worth the price. Aldo is a great option for a weekend dinner especially if you're looking for an upscale option that won't break the bank!

Yelp
This was our first time at here. The food was so good and I don't even eat salmon. Are waiter remember everyone ordered. We was their for a complimentary conference. The restaurant is beautiful. They have private rooms to have events. I didn't care that we had to park in the back and when we left it was dark back behind the restaurant. And the bathroom was not clean and water coming from the bottom of the toilet. And the waste basket was over flow. The host was very greeting when we came in to the restaurant and when we left. They even sell items at the front of the restaurant. I have to go back for the happy hour because I love a good one.

Yelp
Came for lunch and was pleasantly surprised! I got a squid pasta with a branzino and it was perfect, no notes!

Yelp
If yelp would let you do 3.5 1/2 stars I would do that. I think I was expecting high expectations off of how the place looks outside and dress code that they have. The wine was delicious and put on ice for us nice. The minestrone soup was the best thing I had out of this meal! The calamari I feel like could have been crispier. The New York strip was cooked nicely, tasted average. The chicken parm is where is was ehhh I feel like it didn't have a seasoning in it. It was insipid. The Frutti de Bosco was yummy. Cheesecake normal. The waiter was pretty on top of it at least. Overall, just average and wouldn't really look to go again.

Yelp
If you are searching for great food in an upscale place I suggest here . My disappointment though was ordering the halibut special which was supposed to be topped with crabmeat they chef forget. The service excellent prices on the higher side but expected, I will return when on the area

Yelp
Caffe Aldo Lamberti the perfect spot for a date night , a night out with friends, or a celebratory dinner. It offers classy upscale Italian dining. Before you go, please check their website because they do have a dress code. When you arrive, you have a choice for valet parking but you do not have to do it if you do not want to. They have plenty of parking spaces behind the restaurant. When you walk in you are hit with a darkness romantic feel. They have a huge wine selection so if you are a wine lover then you are in heaven. You have your choice of it by the glass or by the bottle. I had a glass of Chardonnay and it was incredible. When it came time for the food, I was little skeptical because I was not sure if they had any gluten free dishes, but they had so many options to choose from. They offered gluten free pasta and many of their dishes on the menu are naturally gluten free. I ordered their pan-seared scallops. The scallops were seared to perfection and they melted in your mouth. The mushroom risotto was delicious but it was a little dry. However, everything paired nicely together and I wanted more scallops. Overall, I was very pleased with my time here. The staff, the atmosphere, and the food were incredible. I am looking forward to dinning here again.

Yelp
Went on a weeknight for dinner (reservations were booked probably an hour or so prior to arriving). We were greeted upon entry and seated immediately. For an appetizer, we tried this tuna tartar as one of the specials. Main menu items: Surf and Turf with asparagus and mashed potatoes and NY Strip with fries. Food was delicious and cooked as requested. Dessert: Flourless chocolate torte topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. :) Everything from the service, the food and the drinks were excellent.

Yelp
Beautiful family owned restaurant. You will sit down as stranger and leaving feeling like family, and will dream of the food until you come back! The owner and his daughter are lovely people !

Yelp
I love this place. Met a friend for late lunch - seated in a beautiful all glass room. The waiters were attentive. We had claws with mustard & lime and the calamari - fantastic! We ordered some drinks -their old fashioned was really good. Main course, whole fish with vegetables and the veal with capellini & mushrooms. They all surprised me with a pumpkin cheesecake for my birthday! This place never disappoints- I highly recommend it!

Yelp
this is a lovely upscale Italian restaurant with lots of fresh seafood options. they have free valet, and keep in mind the dress code is business casual. I had the pepper crusted salmon which came with leeks, spinach, and potatos in a very light citrus sauce (could barely taste the citrus at all which I liked), and I have to say I think it was the most delicious salmon I've ever had! the creme brulee was also scrumptious. everyone enjoyed their meals. i will say I wish the specials menu was written instead of spoken, it was hard to hear with all the noise of the restaurant and our waiter's accent. I would also like to see more vegetarian options personally. however there were a few pasta options so if you are vegetarian, there is something you can eat.

Yelp
I guess if you go in big groups, you don't get the same meals went last night with a big group shrimp scampi had no pasta so I had six shrimp for $70. I heard this place was overrated and found it to be true. Don't go there if you're hungry. Also, if you're gonna stick people in a wine cellar why not have bathrooms down there so women don't have to walk I have to block to go to the bathroom. We'll never go here again.

Yelp
We see why this restaurant received such great reviews! Loved the atmosphere. It was so crowded but we were seated instantly. The service was amazing for my family of 5 and my toddler. There was an abundance of specials it was hard to choose from. My family loved the many seafood options. My bolognese was very good, fish was good, lobster salad, even down to the bread. Ribeye steak was not the best we've had. Will recommend and be back!

Yelp
A restaurant that strives to be top tier, but the striving has not completed. My arrival at this restaurant found me driving around the block onto Grove Street, with a dangerous merge, to find the back driveway for regular customer parking. No connection from the main driveway. Minus. There's an outdoor bar area semi connected to the indoor dining, and a little intimate side dining gazebo. Plus. My party was seated at a nice table and suffered from: * A slip up in placing the bread bowl spilled another person's water onto me - fortunately not their beer! * A slip up in placing dishes - clean vs. dirty - toppled my meal onto the floor. It was remade while everyone else ate but there was no offer to remove from the bill. Food is nice, bread is not the best I've had by any stretch (had better at Camden Aquarium). Not the biggest portions, yes the biggest prices. One person ordered steak medium well and got it rare, red in the middle. Service was a little too interruptive and not quite enough attentive - the best restaurants keep everything filled without stopping all of your conversations to do so. In the end, if they can use these notes to improve, more stars can be in the offering. Michelin? I wouldn't say never. But first the dishes have to be just right every time.

Mike T.

Yelp
Delightful food, seafood and steak beautifully prepared. Excellent thoughtful meals and very good deserts. I'll be back!

Yelp
Another very special holiday dinner at Caffe Aldo Lamberti ! We are weekly regulars at this finest of fine dining venues in our region, and every experience all these years has been fabulous. Holidays at Caffe Aldo are even more exciting. The beautiful room is set with festive elegance. From the moment you arrive , in the valet parking area , you will be greeted by a superb staff , one which will anticipate your every need and assure complete satisfaction. Of course , the main attraction is the food , home made pasta and mozzarella, succulent lamb and beef and the most exceptional seafood we have ever enjoyed. Easter has always been one of our favorite holidays of the year, the gateway to Spring and it's even more grand at Caffe Aldo.

Yelp
Awful! We had reservations for 4pm, we arrived at 3:55pm....4:15 still waiting for our requested seating area. When I spoke with the manager, his attitude was "Oh well, we aren't ready" (Basically if you don't want to wait then leave). A minute later they seat a party of 6....we were there waiting 20 minutes before this party! The restaurant was very dirty, trash everywhere. Just awful experience. We will never come near this place again, we do not recommend. This worked out for us in the long run, we went to Capital Grille instead and had an Amazing meal. When you goto Capital Grille ask for George, he made, what would have been a great experience anyway even better.

Yelp
When you drive up to the covered rotunda you'll think you're in Beverly Hills. The exotic cars are strategically placed out front. The dining room is well appointed and comfortable. The food selection is ample and overall good, but not great. Service is provided by a seasoned professional waiter team. Sometimes a little too aggressive and pushy, but knowledgeable. It's a nice experience and worth return visits. Avoid "Happy Hour". It's not that happy or priced well.
google avatar

Lor W.

Yelp
Sexy restaurant! Caffe Aldo Lamberti has been a staple in our rotation for some time now. Our visits have primarily been happy hour related, mixed in with a few private parties along the way. The bar area is wide enough to order dinner (and sides) and the seats are comfortable enough to not give you "numb ass" a half hour in. Their wine list is extensive, and they have special cocktails that rotate in and out every few months. We love the outdoor patio seating! The area by the bar has a nice, open-air feel due to the large windows that are left open during the warmer months. It's a true professionals crowd during happy hour. Not a bad idea to visit if you're looking to see and be seen, just sayin'. I would visit this place for the breadbasket alone. Their focaccia is heavenly, and I wind up filling up on it every time I visit. When in Rome!

Yelp
My Wife & I chose this place for our 2 year wedding anniversary, Judging by the menu and ambiance, I was expecting the service to be exceptional & the food to be amazing. I guess my waiter wasn't too knowledgeable maybe because he was young and his recommendations were not on point at all. My order came out wrong, my ribeye was not medium and lacked flavor. The Caesar salad was very poor and dressing lacked flavor as well. I wanted it to be better, but overall the food was overpriced for it not to be good and bursting with flavor in every bite.

Patrick F.

Yelp
Had lunch there on Sunday. Food is always good. However, they only had the Dinner Menu vs the Lunch menu. I guess the owner wants his customers paying more on a slow Sunday.

Yelp
Attended a big bridal shower. Room was bright and airy. Food and waitstaff was great. Very classy establishment. Conviently close to Philadelphia.

Yelp
This Restaurant is everything. Food.. service.. ambiance and awesome cocktails. Our waiter "Jack" went the mile in making sure we were completely happy with everything. And we were. If you go, Go with a heavy wallet, but it's so worth it. Also.. give respect to this establishment, and dress nice.!

Best Place to be on weekends. Love the atmosphere, best service you can get. The taste of the food is delicious.

Yelp
We had a work dinner here, a team of about 22 and we were given the private wine cellar. Beautiful space and the table was ginormous, the perfect size for all the food we were about to embark on. A few appetizers hit the table and my favorites were the Buffalo Mozzarella Napoleon and the signature Crabcakes. Both were incredible, so flavorful. The prosciutto melted like butter in your mouth. The bread basket was fantastic on its own too. Main dish I went with Pappardelle Ai Funghi. The pasta was perfectly cooked, so delicious. In fact, it was a good-sized portion and after all the other bites before, I took my leftovers home. Which made it to a bar after and I ended up finishing it there lol. I paired the meal with a sauv blanc. Had an espresso martini with dessert (which was some sort of cake). Service was outstanding and such a great place for a gathering.

Yelp
Returned for dinner on nye with a big group of friends and all had a great time. Beautiful restaurant with top notch service. The food is delicious, but for the price I am paying it doesn't blow me away tbh. It is still a gorgeous establishment and fine dining that is a must in this area for the experience. To start, we ordered the Zucchini Fritti, Buffalo Mozzarella Napoleon, Colossal Shrimp Cocktail and Calamari Dorati. The shrimp cocktail was the best dish out of the 4, but only came with 4 pieces so keep that in mind with your party size. I ordered the salmon special which had crab meat inside. Wasn't the best salmon I ever had, but it did hit the spot. Sides were tasty as well! Other dishes that were ordered were the bolognese, some sort of scallop dish and rigatoni. The bolognese was tasty and rich with flavor. Everyone was extremely stuffed after dinner and we could not do dessert. Beautiful restaurant to visit on a special occasion!

Yelp
5 stars all the way around! I love this local gem! If you're in search of a location to host a small gathering, I highly recommend this place! The service is impeccable and the food is deliciously uncomplicated with options for everyone in your group! Splurge a little and treat yourself to a seafood tower!

Yelp
Overall 4.5 stars. I had a lovely time at Caffee Aldo Lamberti. Went for an early Valentines dinner with my partner. Our waiter was super sweet and didn't hover, which I appreciated. We were started off with delicious bread that had a wonderful tomato paste. Then we got the Zucchini Frittata as an appetizer, which in our opinion, could have used some sauce. It was still tasty though. For entrée, I ordered the Bolognese, which was wonderful! I didn't leave a single piece of pasta on my plate. I also thought everything we ate was quite affordable, which in these times is appreciated. This place is a nice hidden gem and I would definitely recommend for intimate dinners.

Yelp
Dinner was delicious and the ambience was great. I enjoyed the Signature Crabcake. It was different from a Maryland crabcake but still good flavor. For the appetizer I enjoyed the octopus. The complimentary valet parking was very convenient and out waiter was amazing.

Yelp
Food was amazing I highly recommend this place to anyone the service was amazing you walk in you feel a sense of like is this heaven

Yelp
Well was hoping for a good night out with family, but unfortunately it did not happen. First the positives - service was basically good, except for not offering a refill on beverages (ice tea) and no follow up on how the meals were. Also my wife liked the salmon platter and the antipasto appetizer was not bad. From there, the meal went down hill - the other appetizer, mozzarella & tomatoes, was meh. The bolognese was so-so based on how a party member just picked at it and the catch of the day, could have been called the "catch of a few days ago", but the veal Marsala had to be the worst i have ever had. It was flavorless and the 1/8 inch thick pounded veal was as tough as leather. It seemed as though it may have been prepared a few days before being served. Basically my golden rule for restaurants was broken - I do not mind paying good money for a good meal, but I hate paying good money for a bad meal. Without being prompted, my son summed it up afterwards and said "I don't think I'll be going back to that place" and I could not disagree.

Yelp
We booked dinner in the wine cellar after our wedding ceremony (party of 22 people.) We had an amazing time! The event coordinator was easy to work with (we got flowers delivered for the table and they set them up,) the staff was so nice and polite, and the food was amazing. Our wedding photographer mentioned the Bordeaux wine was one of the best wines she's ever tasted! All the food was so delicious, definitely better than any caterer could do! The crowd favorites were the capellini positano, the clams casino, and their homemade cheesecake. The only thing that didn't go according to plan was that we couldn't get our bluetooth connected to their system to play our own music. About 3/4ths of the way through dinner, they were finally able to pipe their own music down to the wine cellar. It wasn't the end of the world, and tech hiccups happen. My now husband grew up going to Lamberti's for special occasions, and now we have the best memory of all here at the restaurant! We definitely recommend Lamberti's for both private events and fancy nights out.

Yelp
We have gone to Caffe Aldo Lamberti frequently in the past and it is usually very good, but unfortunately it wasn't last night. It was my fiancée's birthday which I wrote and choose as an option when booking the reservation and they didn't mention it at all, which was disappointing. Our server, Tom, was the highlight of our dinner! He was so friendly and made funny jokes the whole time, he really made a positive impression on our experience! We started with their winter caprese salad. The tomatoes and burrata were extremely salty. Their bread basket and pizza bread were good as always. For entrees, we had the grouper catch of the day and the salmon. My salmon was farm raised and had no flavor. The leeks on top were the one thing that made the salmon have some sort of taste. My fiancée had the special grouper. He said the sauce was good, but again the fish didn't have much of a taste. Unfortunately it seemed like an off night for their food there and with their steep pricing you would expect better. I was also surprised that they began charging a 3% credit card fee as well here.

Yelp
I really want to love this place but just can't. Every time we go there is an issue. My husband and I were there for dinner last Saturday and ordered a variety of items, one item being the veal parm. The veal parm came out with two pieces of cheese on top that were not melted. Aldo lamberti is supposed to be one of the nicest restaurants in cherry hill but the quality of veal parm we received was something we could have gotten at the diner down the street. The staff did do the right thing once we voiced our complaints and because of that, we may try this restaurant one more time before crossing it off our list entirely.

Eileen D.

Yelp
We went 5:30 on Thursday night, not packed but steady. I had the catch of the day which was amazing and hubby had chicken Milanese which was very good. The best salad I had to start with was easily enough for two. The service was very good!
google avatar

Annie F.

Yelp
Absolutely unreal dining experience. Our waiter Marco went above and beyond to give us a great dinner. We had the Peruvian scallops as an appetizer, papardelle bolognese, and the swordfish catch of the day as our mains. The food was delicious and so fresh we can't wait to come back. Even has an accordion player stop by our table and play That's Amore while we dined. Such a nice touch. This is a must try in south Jersey!

Yelp
Wow! What a beautiful experience! The service, meal and overall ambiance was extremely memorable. I'm not from the area and have never head of this restaurant and I'm so happy I had the opportunity to go! Everything was lovely- I would definitely return and recommend when in the area.

Yelp
Excellent service for our party of 7. All of the food was great, and so were the cocktails. My steak was cooked to the perfect medium rare and the lamb chops were also cooked to the perfect medium well. Tiramisu was the best dessert of all!

Yelp
Love this place. Incredible Food and great atmosphere. Can wait to go back. Everything I have tried there is incredible.

Yelp
Food: 9.1/10 Ambiance: 9.4/10 Service: 9.6/10 Bang for buck: 9.3/10 One of the best restaurants I've been to in my life. We had 2-3 waiters constantly check on our table - they were extremely polite and gentle. Food tasted great and the ambience was calming and beautiful. There is valet in the front.

Yelp
We're always surprised how busy this place is, so make sure you make a reservation! We've been here twice and both times the restaurant was extremely busy but the services was still good. They have a really good seafood/pasta menu and I always end up ordering a pasta. My rigatoni was delicious and my husband ordered the veal chop special. I think their cocktails are also delicious! Overall, a great place with good food and drinks--my four stars is a reflection of the price. It's quite pricey for the food you get and they added a 3% surcharge if you pay with credit card now so the price is pretty steep.

Linda V.

Yelp
We have been fans of Cafe Aldo Lamberti for some time now. It's been our go-to place when we have something to celabrate.. Recently my husband selected Cafe Aldo Lamberti for his 70th birthday bash with 26 of our friends! The experience was excellent from Cassidy, our event planner to our servers- Cory, Herman and .Migual. Their serving skills were only exceeded by the ease with which they created a party environment. All our guests were sooo impressed. We.'ll likely be back to Cafe Aldo Lamberti for our next celebration! Well done.

Marianne S.

Yelp
This place never disappoints. Been going here for years. Just back from a funeral luncheon for a dear relative. I could feel him smiling down on all of us as we were presented with his favorite meals there: filet mignon, herb-crusted chicken, salmon, and penne vodka. Every dish got raves. Also top-notch was the waitstaff, professional and attentive. Special shout-out to Mario. Perfectly served delicious meals in a private room just cozy enough to encourage conversation and highlight the camaraderie among the relatives and friends. Caffe Aldo Lamberti delivered a befitting tribute to a wonderful man.

We go here for Christmas Eve dinner every year and every year the food and service is amazing! It's so festive! They're all incredibly friendly and I could Probably eat my body weight in their pizza bread!

Yelp
Made reservations for our anniversary via open table . It was between here or Capital Grille but we decided on here because we wanted to try something new. Man, do we regret that now. Prices are one thing and I'm happy to pay a good price for good food and service but we experienced neither. We arrived at 6:04 for 6:15 reservations. The hostess told us to head to the bar for drinks until 6:15. There were no seats do we waited. When we got sat at our table our server took forever to greet us, bring drinks etc. we finally ordered oysters for a start which didn't come until 7. Oysters were not shucked properly as every one had shells. For entrees, I got the lamb chops which were okay but not great in addition, I ordered medium rare but received medium well. My partner ordered the seafood risotto and said it was okay as well but nothing special. For dessert my partner got the cheesecake which was the best thing all night however, I was super disappointed that there was no happy anniversary decor on the plate or any mention of it since I put in our reservation that this was our anniversary. Overall, we would not return. We spent almost $300 for two people for sub par service and food.
