Caffè Calabria

My husband and I come here on a Sunday basis. Not only is the coffee excellent, their pastries are delicious. This feels like a little slice of Italian heaven in the middle of North Park. I personally love the “No Computers” signs because it’s nice to be around people who are disconnected from the internet and interact with each other. If you’re not a coffee drinker, check out their pizza and happy hour on Wednesdays! It’s the best deal in town.

It pains me to write a negative review about Caffe Calabria, but I unfortunately had a terrible experience at a spot that has long been one of my favorite coffee shops/pizza spots in the neighborhood. While the food and beverages are still really great, a man who (I think) was the owner was incredibly rude during my visit there today. Since I moved to San Diego in 2005, I have visited Caffe Calabria countless times. Sometimes, it was just to pick up a cup of coffee during a weekend walk, other times it was to work/study while eating lunch, cookies and lattes, or to stop in for pizza and cocktails. On one occasion, I reserved the back patio for a group for dinner and drinks for a nonprofit I volunteer for. Until today, service from the staff has always been kind and efficient, and it's been a place I frequent on at least a weekly basis (sometime more frequently if I was really craving a bicerin). Cut to this afternoon, when I was there on a very slow Monday around lunchtime. I was there to eat lunch, meet a friend and to do some writing around 11 a.m., but after ordering and sitting down, I realized my laptop was starting to die. I looked around for a plug and didn't find one near me, so I moved to one of the only three tables that did have one under them. I did see that they had signs saying the tables were for eating only and no computers or crafts could be done at those tables (other tables said no computers after 3 p.m.), but since more than half the tables were empty and I had just bought a sandwich and two coffees for myself, I thought it would be OK to sit there while my laptop charged for a bit while waiting for my friend to arrive. Then the owner came over and rudely reiterated the rule to me. He kept saying "it's fine today because we're slow, but for future reference, we don't allow computers at these three tables." I tried to apologize as I explained my situation, but he kept being very rude toward me, adding that computers were banned at the only tables that have plugs "by design" because he doesn't want people working on computers in his cafe. I understand having rules, and explaining these rules if you're busy and need to turn tables, but it's quite another thing to berate someone about it. I am not sure when it changed from being a welcoming place, but this lack of decency was unacceptable. I'll miss the pizza and coffee, but unfortunately the way he treated me means I won't be back.

My private practice is literally a few doors away… and I love coming here after work. I have tried their different pizzas and calzones… fresh ingredients and the food is absolutely scrumptious with flavors that would make your heart warm. Also they have all day happy hour on Wednesdays!!!

Overall good place, nice coffee. I saw negative reviews about manager telling people not to use laptop after certain time so I was mindful (although tbf I agree with the idea, even if the execution of it could be compassionate). Anyway, I had a good experience in terms of service. Facility is good space, friendly crowd. Regular pizza is excellent. Calzone not so much, was cold on the inside. Prices reasonsble. Great to watch Euro2024. Big multi storey car park 5 mins away which is cheap. Also off street free parking, but need to be lucky to find available spot.

This place exceeded my expectations, I ordered the Salciccia Pizza and it was delicious. Thin pizza, good crust, perfect amount of sauce and cheese, crispy at the bottom, good tasting sausage, light in your belly, this place checked every box on my list, I will be back for sure. It is very affordable too, I paid like 15 $ for a pizza! Got some madeleines too and those were tasty as well!

I wish I could say how this place was, but they were very unwelcoming. I ordered a latte and the girl told me I wasn’t allowed to use my laptop. The place was completely empty at 4pm. So I walked right out, I live down the block and there’s sooooo many great coffee shops. Not sure why they act this way. I just googled something that opened a little later and this came up. Eh try the other spots. Service is a thing still. Specially when prices have gone way up. We customer want to be greeted and treated like you appreciate our business.

I had a terrible experience when the owner loudly told me I couldn’t sit with my laptop on one of their tables. Therefore, be aware that they have a no-laptop policy on some tables at all time and you can only use it before 3 PM on others. I’d totally be okay if that guy came talk to me professionally, but he was bursting arrogance and alcohol, clearly adulterated by some drinks. Even the staff (which is nice btw) apologized for his behavior.

I’ve been coming to this spot for about ten years, seeing as I used to live in North Park. The food and drinks are still great, and they have an excellent happy hour, but the service has gotten pretty bad. And this is coming from a former restaurant worker, not a Karen. Anyways, we sat at the bar and it became clear that we were going to have to ask to put our order in rather than be checked in on after we were initially given menus. Food came out fine, but our server didn’t check on us until we were completely finished. So what was he doing? Constantly chatting with other employees, playing some type of patty cake/clapping game, dancing, and my personal favorite: he appeared to be drinking some type of whiskey drink on the job. Sadly, I don’t think the good prices are enough to get me to come back for food again. Next time, I’ll likely just grab a coffee and head out. But either way, if I was the owner, these are the things I’d want to be aware of.

A cozy Italian bar and coffee shop with a moderate amount of indoor and outdoor seating. They also have food options: fresh pizza (offered gluten free as well), panini style sandwiches, and other baked goods. The service is quick, friendly and welcoming. I tried both the Bomba (guinness w/ an espresso shot) as well as the Caffe Viennese. Both were good. If you enjoy a good latte, I'd highly recommend trying the Viennese. The Bomba was something I simply ordered out of curiosity to see how well espresso would mix with Guinness. It tasted just like you'd imagine, nothing too crazy. I would 100% come back here to try any of their espresso based drink offerings as well as order a pizza (they were being cooked in a pizza oven that filled the restaurant w/ a delicious freshly baked pizza aroma!). This would be a great place to stop by and grab a quick espresso + baked good or sit down and catch up with a group of friends over some drinks and pizza.

I called, placed and ordered 5 pizzas for pick up. This is now my second visit . Thought I'd give it a second chance as the first time wasn't the greatest. Upon arrival , I make my way over to the noticeable register area where there are 3 employees behind the coffee bar with another at the pizza station. I've been standing at the register with not a single word, or glance from any employee. So we proceed to wait. It took for me to ask if this was the right place to pay for someone to even knowledge my party. the employee goes on to say someone will help shortly without even looking our way. So we continue to wait there some MORE , no one minding my group just standing there waiting to be helped so we go seat ourselfs while we wait. Another 5/10 minutes pass, I hear the employee at the pizza oven ask another employee across the room " has this person even showed up yet?" And the employee goes on to say "nope". Mind you I've been off to the side waiting to be helped. so I stand up and state that it's my order I've been waiting to be helped. This place is not cheap, and for the bad service I've received... now twice, why would I ever return. My first time was just as unpleasant. I feel some retraining is in order here. as a small business owner in the food industry, I was honestly really taken back by this. I hope this helps prevent another bad situation like this.

This place seems very hip. I only went inside to go to Crafted Coupe, but they were so busy. Every table was occupied. They sell cafe things of course plus pizza and cocktails. I wanted to try a pizza, but we decided to go to another place so we didn't outrage purchase anything. Wouldn't mind coming back to try the food.

Caffe Calabria is authentic as it gets with its amazing selection of coffee, pizzas and Italian cocktails. Located in North Park, Caffe Calabria is an excellent cafe with roasting machines on site, a large wood fired oven and a long service bar for hot drinks, food and cocktails. Seating is plentiful with both indoor and outdoors. For starters we ordered Happy Hour cocktails consisting of an Aperol Spritz and Vodka Collins along with the Insulate Caprese. The heirloom tomatoes were fresh and the burrata was a creamy goodness. The pizza at Caffe Calabria is excellent. It's Neapolitan style cooked in a wood fired oven. The soft chewy dough has a taste like no other coupled with the San Marzano tomato sauce and mozzarella fior di latte makes it super authentic. The pizzas we ordered were the Margherita D.O.C. and Prosciutto. The Mozzarella di Buffala on the Margherita D.O.C. is so fresh and creamy. Pizza is served Monday - Tuesday 11AM-2:30 PM, Wednesday - Sunday 11AM - 10PM. I highly suggest coming here on Wednesday or Thursday as they have a fantastic Happy Hour with discounts on drinks and pizza. Great staff and the service was excellent.

Italian coffee is the best, this place proves it!! My cappuccino was perfect and my friend's mocha smooth and rich. I'm not one as much for iced coffee but their iced latte was spectacular and not at all watered down. The ambiance of the caffe is chill and they have a coffee bar. I saw people working but there are no laptops after 3pm! After then, I assume customers enjoy their pizza. Can't wait to return, and next time I'll have my drink at the cafe so I can enjoy the coffee in a cup and saucer :)

I came in with coffee from a different place, but they didn't kick me out (unlike other places--but understandably so). I ordered one of their paninis and they pressed it for me. It was so cute and only $2.50 for one which is pretty reasonable in my opinion. It had some delicious Calabrese salami and herbs on top. They have ample seatings inside and out. They do not accept cash, card only!

OK - since I'm one of the regulars here now - the staff has always been stellar! Absolutely top notch, funny, professional & skilled at their latte craft. The pizza is wood-fired, dough made by hand - and the guy working the oven is freaking phenomenal. If he's making artesian bread - you have to get a loaf (amazing). My only complaint is their coffee - it's a bit too bitter for me. But then again, North Park is famous for IPA's - do this is the IPA of coffee. The bum situation can be trying at times, but the staff really cracks down on poor behavior. They get extra kudos for that...

Excellent pizza. Just like Italy. And the ambiance is great. Husband had amber ale that he thought was great. This is our new favorite. We will come again.

We were wandering around North Park, and thought about going here for a pizza. The outside was a little questionable because we weren't sure who was sitting where, and then this guy says, "You can take her in, it's okay." Cako went over to him and she let him pet her so we went in and took a corner table in front. The staff is really friendly! We ordered a Caprese salad and a Diavola pizza. We also had three glasses of wine. The inside has changed and it looks like the roasting room is now a dining area. The back used to be retail, but it's now a lounging place that might be for members only, but don't quote me. The only thing I didn't care for was that we had to order and pay for food from one worker, and then do drinks with another with a separate check. But other than that, it was really pleasant and a nice way to get reacquainted with Calabria! We promise not to stay away so long! Cako Approves! (She laid down which she only does with places she loves!)

Spacious coffee/wine bar. I think they also have food options. There's also an outdoor patio and balcony. It's never overly busy when I've gone. They also have TVs to watch soccer games. The only hassle is parking due to it being in the middle of North Park.

Tried the bomba (espresso+Guinness) and the Metro (espresso+sparkling water+vanilla+orange) along with the apple strudel. Bomba was great! The metro was just okay, would never order again. They offered to warm up the strudel so that was a treat! They have lots of seating options indoors and a nice outdoor patio. I've been here for the great happy hours in the past but glad to have checked out the quiet morning ambiance. The rest of the menu looks great and I'll be back to find a favorite coffee.

Not impressed, would not come back. We ordered the bresaola as an appetizer which was actually good just wish that the arugula wasn't half wilted. We finally got our Prosciutto & arugula pizza and it was pretty bland. I added red pepper and olive oil & it still was just okay. The guy who brought us our appetizer was very nice. But then service went downhill after him. We had to stand up to get the extras when the table next to us got theirs immediately with their pizza. Seems like a good place to grab a coffee or a cocktail not to eat.

Chill spot that serves coffee, cocktails and pizza. We got there around 5pm for happy hour and it wasn't that busy. Drinks took 30 minutes lol The pizza tasted great but took 40 minutes to come out. Dough had a nice chew, doughy-ness and char to it. Sauce was flavorful and memorable. Great price for neopolitan pizza!

Debateably the best pizza in San Diego Always a long wait if you do walk in, so you want to either make a reservation or put your name in and go get drinks elsewhere. The atmosphere is lively, energetic and fun to watch the open kitchen. The staff are friendly and fast considering the crowd. The cocktails are interesting with a few local distilleries. Definitely worth checking out. The pizza is definitely american style, taking inspiration from notable pizzerias like Pizzeria Bianco, and it's nice that they even say who they take inspiration from. Overall, definitely worth the effort.

Second we walked in, there was a great vibe. Good music, super friendly employees, nice setup. The cashier chatted with us for a bit and gave some coffee recommendations. The drink he suggested I try was amazing! The coffee was great quality and I haven't stopped thinking about it since I went. I will definitely be returning. The only downside is the parking sucks!

Pleasantly surprised. Coffee was good italian style. The pizza was good, aunthetic, affordable. Interior is nice.

Stumbled upon this cool coffee shop while in North Park. It a unique spot with a pizza oven shop inside and a cool bar in the back. This afternoon we stopped in for some coffee and to check out the end of a Soccer Game. The staff here were super friendly and chatted with us a bit about the menu and let us know about the cool bar in the back. ( coming back another time to check it out!) we ordered a couple Iced Viennese Coffees and enjoyed the reset of our evening with friends!

Loved checking out this coffee shop! I was so surprised how beautiful it was inside and that there was a pizza oven, bar, coffee and lunch items. My coffee was really good and was a great price too! Around $6-$7 for almond milk latte. There are a ton of tables and extended so will stop in here again to do computer work!

When I think of consistency, I think of Calabria. The espresso is always perfectly roasted and is just as enjoyable for me on its own as it is in a cappuccino. It might be the best espresso around. Service always stellar. Vibe is good but don't let an employee catch you with your laptop out on a Friday night or they might move you to a different table. I personally broke that rule and had to finish my paper tucked away next to the pizza oven. I watched a hundred pizzas get made that night. 10/10, would do it again.

We went to Calabria thinking we would have dinner there but it has now really become more of a speakeasy rather than a restaurant. You order at the counter because there is no table service and basically, it's a quick pizza, flat breads and salads on the menu. We had a pizza and a flat breads which were not all that great and soggy too! Ugh! There were extra chairs piled up by the front door and eating area. There are big garbage cans in the toasting room which they also use as a dining room nowadays which are not very inviting in the same space as you are eating & drinking. Ugh! The music was too loud and annoying to have a conversation and the bench seeing is really uncomfortable! Ugh! We will not be going back for a redo:-(

Fantastic pizza; not your everyday fare. The photos speak for themselves. Service was quick and it was not at all crowded. Great for a casual bite that isn't ho-hum.

I love the pizza here- super fresh, the dough is very chewy like the real/original ones you could find in Napoli. Service is just ok, employees can be A$$holes. I don't appreciate how some of the employees act or their terrible attitude (like some of them act like they don't wanna be there) but overall it's not terrible. Super chill spot in NP; back of the establishment is a speakeasy spot called "Crafted Coupe".Would love to try different pizza(s) in the near future and would like to also try this place during the week to see how their service differ on weekends vs weekdays.

Service was fast and friendly. There's a good amount of seating inside and out with the TV by the bar, and a wine special on Wednesdays. This is my first time getting a pizza here, but I was not impressed. It was so thin there were holes on the bottom, underneath the pizza was burnt, and there was not enough toppings. It was so thin and floppy that when I tried to pick it up, literally sauce and all the toppings slid right off. Not my ideal pizza.

My boyfriend and I came here for lunch. That was damn good pizza. We shared one but could've easily devoured two. Crispy crust with a chewy interior. Super thin but when you fold it to eat a slice, that was a good ratio between toppings and dough. And the char was just right. You can tell the dough was proofed long enough, the gluten was kneaded well, the dough was stretched with precision, and the temperature of the oven was spot on. I obviously eat a lot of pizza to be that nitpicky, but man, it was divine. We ordered the Daviola. The Deliciously Divine Daviola. We also had the house red and the house white. At the time of this writing, there's an additional discount on wines, cocktails, and pizzas called Midweek Tweek. We also ordered other wines because well, the first wine kicked in so why not. The staff is also knowledgeable, fast, and attentive. We're definitely coming back. (Thanks, Arnie!)

Love this place!! The pizza is DELICIOUS. The sandwiches in the morning with a mocha espresso are chefs kiss. Cocktails are pretty solid too!

There is nothing like a Neapolitan pizza and Caffe Calabria makes some great ones! You can see them make your pizza and place it into the pizza oven. Everything is fresh and I love that chewy thin dough. One of the things I love most about this place is the ambience. It's a great place to grab a bite, but it also has a very casual feel to grab an afternoon coffee with a friend. It's a great place to meet up with someone if you have to have an informal meeting or catch up.

Love their cold brew, coffee, and pizza! You can make any pizza gluten free and the gluten free dough truly tastes like you're eating normal pizza dough which is so hard to find. I ordered the Diavola with honey on the side and my friend ordered the cotto e funghi (normal dough). The restaurant is so cute and in the back there's a small speakeasy as well. Service was great too!

Arne and his team this past Thursday, I felt, went over and beyond to help make a bday celebration experience positively memorable... from being able to excitingly execute the tasks requested of them, to doing little things (unexpected courtesies) that added to our high frequency of an evening. Thank you for the lovely eats and drinks, they were flavorful and on point. The Espresso Martini is in its own league. Believe you me. Amazing! The ambiance and service was stellar. To simply put it, you made a Portlandian and an Italian feel like we were home away from home. When back in town, will definitely stop in for some Java & Za.

WORLD'S BEST COFFEE ! My wife and I agree we have never had a better coffee anywhere else. And we have tried many of the best coffee roasters in the USA, Australia and Europe. NUMBER ONE ! To quote Arne Holt the founder / owner / coffee roaster..."There's a mathematical equation to roasting coffee and preparing espresso. Our espresso is second to none because of the precision we put into it." IN FACT ! We love Cafe Calabria's whole roasted coffee beans so much we get them shipped to our place in Irvine every month. AND THEN ! On Friday we drove down to San Diego for a fun packed weekend....Padres game on Friday night and Stray Cats concert on Saturday night. After checking into our Marriott hotel room we freshened up and headed straight here for a pre-game dinner. We walked inside around 5pm and said hi to Norman & Jonah the pizzaiolos kneading pizza dough in front of the fully imported Italian pizza oven. Alejandro the friendly cashier looked after us at the cashier counter. WOOD FIRED PIZZA ! Yes not only does Caffe Calabria serve the best coffee they also make amazing wood-fired pizzas. VOTED BEST BEER IN THE WORLD ! And who else has Belgium's Delirium Tremens on tap ? We ordered 1 x Rubino Pizza ( Grana, mozzarella fior di latte, speck, caramelized onions, gorgonzola and thyme oil ), 1 x short Latte with 2% milk & Monin Hazelnut Syrup and 1 x Delirium Tremens. We paid upfront and I collected my ice cold Delirium Tremens in the elephant glass at the bar counter. And then we made ourselves comfortable at a booth table opposite the full bar. HOW SWEET IT IS ! There's nothing better than sipping on a sensational Delirium Tremens inside the best cafe in San Diego. I collected my wife's latte from the espresso bar counter and thanked Alec the highly trained barista for his excellent work. My wife totally loved her rich creamy latte. WHOO HOO ! Before we knew it Norman the head pizzaiolo personally delivered our Rubino wood-fired pizza to our table. This is how they make the Neapolitan pizzas in Italy...the proper way. TOTALLY DELICIOUS ! We loved every slice of it. MORE BEER ! I ordered another Delirium Tremens.....gotta get amped up for the Padres game. IF YOU WANT THE BEST IT'S RIGHT HERE ! Part coffee shop and part pizza place, Caffe Calabria has always been on my list to try. We went on a Wednesday which is when all of their pizzas are only $12! The pizzas themselves range from $12-$17 normally but it's still nice that they have this mid-week deal. The place is a fairly casual sit-down restaurant with no waiters, where you order at the cashier and they will bring your food to you. We tried to order the Prosciutto e Arugula pizza but unfortunately they were all out of Prosciutto that night (we arrived around 8pm). Instead we got the Cotto e Funghi as well as the Carbonara pizzas. The Carbonara Pizza was super delicious! Not too heavy/creamy. For a white pie, it was really balanced overall. The Cotto e Funghi was also good. The toppings were nice but nothing too amazing. I enjoyed the red sauce and wish there was slightly a bit more added. Overall the pizzas had a great crust texture. The perfect amount of chew and pull. All in all I would definitely come back and try some other pizzas!

So happy to have found Caffe Calabria! My bf stumbled on this place due to wanting coffee beans. We decided to also try their pizzas and Affogato. Their house blend coffee beans are great and pizzas are awesome as well!! I think I'll have to make it a goal to try all the pizzas.

Don't say you close at 230 and when a customer gets in at 215 you say you are closed. Employee behind the counter was extremely rude when we asked saying I thought it's 230. The pizza here is generally good and I've been coming here for years but I'd rather go next door to si amo if I'll be treated like that.

I have only previously been here for drinks (espresso martini was really good) and it was about time I stopped in to grabbed some pizza. It was a Wednesday night so it wasn't too crowded and the pizza came out relatively quick. The first pizza was the cotto de funghi which we added eggplant to. It had a good amount of toppings and the sauce seemed really fresh. I think the carbonara pizza was my favorite. I've never had carbonara pizza before and I now want it all the time. The sauce was so creamy and I loved the asparagus on top. The prosciutto was perfectly crispy as well. I am glad I live so close to this spot so I can swing in when I'm craving a pizza.

I absolutely love this place!!! It is the perfect spot for a coffee/pastry or a delicious lunch/dinner. They even have a bar if you're feelin frisky (& THEY HAVE PIMMS WHICH I NEVER SEE ANYWHERE HERE...so amazing). I go here to study and be productive or just to hangout with friends and grab a bite to eat. They are super affordable and the employees are all very attentive and take good care of you. Must try spot!!! Nothing beats it. I only discovered it a couple of months ago and it quickly became one of my favorites.

Caffe Calabria is a huge facility, when I first walked in I see a worker making pizza. As I kept walking down there's a cashier where I can order coffee, pastries and other beverages. I order a Margherita pizza to share. If you are extremely hungry I would recommend getting your own. After I order my pizza I walk down to sit at the bar. I order a mimosa to enjoy with my food. The cashier and bartender was very attentive. This place just keeps going it has another room where I can see their huge coffee machine and they have another bar there and plenty of places to sit. If I walk to the back there another bar and a lot of seating it's great for meeting friends and studying. They also have an outdoor back section. It's a must see place if you come to North Park. The pizza was very good and they have some happy hours drinks. Definitely check them out.

I came to have a drink with a friend during their happy hour because I heard good things about this place. The drinks were alright but the service wasn't the best unfortunately. They were not as nice and welcoming compared to other places. The place look nice inside and very spacious. I might give it another chance to try their food.

Elite cafe to do homework or computer work at. Full coffee menu, and restaurant/bar. The lighting is dim, seats are comfortable, lots of seating options. Wifi is strong. Service was friendly during my visit. They were helpful. Pizza smells amazing.

I'm going around north park exploring all the coffee shops around to find a good fit to get work done. I rate them on coffee, service/vibe, and if it's a good place to work/study. Feel free to follow along haha. Coffee: 4.0/5 Vibe: 4.0/5 Study/work space: 4.5/5 It's hard not to give Cafe Calabria a 5 star review since I go almost every week, but if I'm being honest in this adventure then this would be a proper assessment. The coffee is good, the espresso is nice, but it's not the coffee that brings me back (it might actually be the $5 wine Wednesdays if I'm honest haha). The vibe is chill, I love how eclectic this place is and homey and the staff are pretty nice. The customers are from all walks of life with every age and personality present and so this is true to the nature of coffee shops and cafes. I love that they have food when you're hungry and the food is pretty good too, so unlike other cafes Cafe Calabria is nice to have meal as well. There's also SO MUCH SPACE which is something to be said about a coffee shop in SD which makes it an ideal spot to study or work. I love Cafe Calabria. I tell all my friends about it who need to get work done and like getting out of the house.

Located right on 30th Street in North Park! I have seen this place while bar hopping & cannot believe it has taken me this long to try! My girlfriend & I came on a Thursday & had a lovely time. They have bar seating, tons of seating inside, they even have an extra room in the back, & seating in the front. You place your food/drink order at the counter & they will deliver it once it is ready. Super friendly customer service. Rubino: Delicious! FYI, I did not know this but speck is bacon. They specialize in Neapolitan style pizza & their crust is chewy just the way I like it. They have specials throughout the week so make sure to check out their website.

This place has been here more than ten years. The coffee is the best like always! You don't want to drink other coffees if tried cafe Calabrian's cafe. My family also love their pizza. Try the carbonara pizza, you'll surprise. The service is great! Although it's a little slow but it comes mostly flawless and people are very friendly here. Parking could be challenging like most of the restaurants in north park.

This is an amazing place to hang out, study, grab a coffee right in the heart of North Park. Bright, airy, beautiful, super spacious, high ceilings, clean bathroom, lots of available seating both indoors and outdoors when I came on a weekday afternoon. Noise levels here are very reasonable so it would be a great study spot! They have a selection of coffees, teas, and basic food selection (e.g. pizza, pastries). I wasn't feeling coffee on the day I went so I tried their strawberry cream cake which honestly looks beautiful but was just ok (a bit too sweet and kind of hard, didn't taste too fresh) but I would definitely love to come back here just for the vibes, ambiance, and drinks!

Obsessed with this place and will be coming back anytime I can while visiting San Diego! First of all, the restaurant is incredibly cute. There are so many different seating options with multiple rooms so it can accommodate tons of people - outdoor patio, front patio, indoor couches, bar style seating, indoor tables. We came on Wednesday which has all day happy hour. The $6 aperol spritzes were delicious and large. We shared 3 pizzas amongst 5 people and it was plenty. We got the carbonara, Diavola, and salsccia pizza - all were delicious and unique in their own way! The crust is soft and thin, and can be enjoyed on its own. You order and pay at the counter then receive a number where a food runner brings it to you once it's ready. All of the employees were friendly and happy to answer all of our questions about the menu. We had to park a few blocks away since it's in a very bustling area of San Diego, but there's plenty of cute restaurants/stores in the area to check out so the walk is worth it!

This place is beautiful! The ambience is very pleasing and clean. The coffee and pastries are delicious. The service was great, the staff are friendly and welcoming. Grab your next cup of coffee here if you are looking for a place with a cozy atmosphere

Food was amazing, although service wasn't that good. They brought our order all separated so we were hungry looking at our friends eating. We ordered 2 coffees and received one, when we asked for the other one, they were "oh really?". The guy in the register was nice but baristas weren't happy to work. Seemed a favor lol Besides that, pizza was delicious.

Located in north park, street parking only. $12 any pizza Wednesday. Modifications or add ons cost extra. Pizza is a medium size thin neopolitan style baked in wood fire oven. Favorite is rubino, even tasted good the next day. Not a fan of the Vegetarian or prosciutto. They have chili oil available at the table, have to ask for parmesan and chili peppers. Water is self serve.

As always parking in North Park can be tricky, but I ended up finding parking in the residential area. This cafe is huge! They have seating in the back and an outside seating area that is super cute. Their menu ranges from espressos and pastries to delicious pizza and wine. My friend and came here on a Thursday night! The pizza is SO delicious and tastes so fresh. We ordered the rubino and the prosciutto e arugula. The pizzas were a great sharing size, we both had leftovers for lunch. We also ordered pinot Grigio, which was super tasty! Definitely give this place a try... it's sooooo goood.

Just came in for a coffee! The space inside is large and beautifully decorated. I'll definitely be coming here to work/hang out with all the indoor and outdoor seating they offer. I got an iced Viennese coffee with oat milk and it's perfectly not too sweet and tastes wonderful. I've heard their pizzas are good so I will have to try, and you can watch them roast their beans in house if you come at the right time! Barista was kind and helped us right away. I love this place already!

A beautiful building that seems teleported out of place from Europe into the North Park neighborhood serving you pizza and coffee. The dough they make here is absolutely *chefs kiss* and its not often that you can pair your coffee with an Italian classic. There's an upstairs area that I have yet to explore so I'll hold off my review on that but the potential for night time hangouts will be on my calendar soon. Awesome place to stop by for a little bite or pick me up but if you're looking to WFH here read on... Spacious with plenty of seating that varies from library style study tables to proper bar and restaurant furniture, this is ALMOST the ideal place to go do work remotely if it weren't for two things: 1. When they get to roasting their coffee it gets loud. Like, muffled Jet Engine next door loud. Don't expect to take meetings here without some serious noise cancellation. 2. Mosquitoes. I always manage to leave the place with at least 3+ mosquito bites due to the open air layout. Not sure what they can do about it exactly but I'd pack my repellant if you're prone to bites.
