Ilania and also Christopher were so nice and very supportive. Food was amazing the place is perfect location. Such a wonderful short stay and rest here. Plus: They are so dog friendly that my dog wants to stay here for a long time!

Last night my husband and I enjoyed a fabulous dining experience. Every single aspect of our evening was perfect. The service was professional and discreet, the food was beautifully cooked and presented and the atmosphere was lovely. It was a bonus that there was no piped music, so we could hear a very talented musician playing on the Ponte Vecchio. We have a few more nights in Florence and will definitely book a table for dinner before we leave.

Great place to grab a drink. Appreciated the stylish and relaxed interior. Excellent service, well made high quality drinks at reasonable prices. Served with bar snacks which we appreciated. Glad we found this place, a welcome pitstop..with air conditioning!

Christopher was amazing…so knowledgeable & friendly. His dessert recommendation was delicious. I would definitely return here for the atmosphere & excellent service.

A Truly Memorable Lunch Experience! From the moment my mum and I walked into the restaurant, we knew we were in for something special. What truly elevated the experience, though, was our wonderful waitress, Isabelle. Not only is she a stunning presence, but her knowledge of the menu, the history, and the stories behind each dish was genuinely impressive. She brought a sense of passion and fun to the table, making our lunch feel more like a special occasion than just a meal. We enjoyed three incredible courses, starting with the steak sashimi—which was melt-in-your-mouth soft and bursting with flavour. Our pasta dishes were cooked to perfection, rich in taste and beautifully presented. My mum also had bread and sauce for a DIY bruschetta experience, which came with a fascinating story shared by Isabelle. She explained that the dish's origins related to the sole of the shoe—how it reflects the way flavours and experiences are picked up, just like your foot walking over cobblestones. It added such a personal and cultural touch to the meal. The highlight for me was the tiramisu. It arrived through a coffee distiller, and I honestly thought we were about to make our own coffee—but to my surprise, the dessert was already inside! Light, fluffy, and with a subtle kick from a hidden liqueur, it was the perfect sweet ending to an outstanding meal. I can't thank the team—and especially Isabelle—enough for such a lovely afternoon. I'll absolutely be back as soon as I can. Highly, highly recommend!

Enjoyed everything about Cafè dell'Oro. Great Hostess (Ilaria) and our waiter was good (Ulvi). They looked after us really well, eventhough we were walk-ins. Security guard for the hotel was a gentleman. The road side tables are a little crowded by passers-by, but when we got too cold Ilaria looked after us by moving us to a table with lovely warm heaters. The food never skipped a beat, accommodating us with snacks as we decided our dinner course, the pasta was perfection, and desserts to die for! Would highly recommend!
