Caffe Fernet

Tried their Christmas special Pumpkin Agnolotti — omg, it was so good! The pasta skin wasn’t too thick, and the pumpkin filling was perfectly balanced and flavorful. The Parmesan potatoes were nice, the clams were good, and the Tagliatelle Bolognese with Wagyu was satisfying. The Norwegian salmon was decent but nothing too surprising. The staff were extremely friendly and even offered to use their film camera to take photos of us while we were celebrating a birthday, which was such a thoughtful touch. Overall, definitely worth a visit — great food, a beautiful city view, and perfect for a city stroll after the meal.

Amazing experience at Caffe Fernet - great food, excellent service. Ordered the burrata, sirloin steak & crab aglio olio for 2 pax to share. Burrata went really well with the tomatoes, their pesto was fresh and savoury - it stood out! The crab aglio olio was indeed a favourite, packed with real crab meat in a huge portion. Steak was served medium rare as requested & wasn’t dry. The service was impeccable as the staff was attentive and friendly. To top it off, they even served a birthday dessert along with a card with a handwritten message. It was a nice gesture to print out the photo. :) Definitely will recommend this place to friends and family! Bonus: Enjoyed the view of MBS from the restaurant.

We had an amazing time at Caffe Fernet! We booked a table for 4 outdoor high chairs, but they seated us in low chairs which ended up being even better! The cocktails were on point and the small bites were delicious! We had calamari, olives, parmesan potato, and initially wanted to try the meatballs, but they were running low so we switched to bruschetta. But the chef surprised us by giving us the meatballs as a complimentary! Said it's usually 3 per portion, so they gave us 2 as a treat. The service was top-notch too! Our waitress (unfortunately I forgot to ask her name) was super friendly, offered to take pictures, and made sure we were happy with our order. Food came out pretty quick too! This was our second time here and it won't be the last!

The view at night is simply amazing and beautiful. The quality of the food is also really good , just a tad bit dry. The atmosphere , the vibes, everything was great. But I can’t emphasise enough on the service I received at the restaurant. Shoutout to Chris, who helped with all of our questions and helped us with anything we needed! And shoutout to Alicia , who helped us take many photos and even printed out a polaroid and helped us make a card for our 7th monthsary! The two of them really made it a 5 star experience. I would really recommend coming here if you’re a couple looking for a nice spot with nice views and good service.

Fantastic New Year’s Eve celebration! The service was exceptional, friendly, attentive, and seamless throughout the night. Our glasses were never empty, with staff constantly checking in and offering drinks. The atmosphere was buzzing, with a great DJ building the excitement all the way to midnight. And the view… absolutely unbeatable. 10/10. Thank you for a memorable night!

Compliment for Cafe Fernett: For starters we ordered the charred octopus, parmesan potatoes and calamari fritti. The charred octopus took us by surprise. The tender octopus and broccoli paired with the rich humus and garnished with chili crisps was really a treat for the taste buds. My second favourite will have to be the parmesan potatoes where the crispy smashed potatoes with a sprinkle of parmesan served with a truffle dip was amazing, truffle lovers will definitely love this. This dish gave a refreshing spin to the mundane truffle fries easily found everywhere. For mains we had the handmade pasta which is only available on public holidays and the weekends. The pasta was simply delicious. The carbonara was rich and creamy served with crispy guaniale that added great texture to the dish. The duck agnolotti was also a dish not to miss out on the the pasta is similar to a ravioli style with a filling that I can only describe as “potato heaven” served with that rich umami packed sauce it was “almost made me fall off my chair” good!! Definitely give it a try. Last but not least we also had the sirloin steak for sharing. Cooked to perfection served on a base of mash potato paired with that wonderful demi-glaze, a simply dish to the eye but tastes so rich and flavourful. A great dish for meat lovers. Delicious food complimented with great service by the staffs, especially by Grace/Gracella She was very knowledgeable about the food items and gave us good advice on the food items. She also was very attentive and friendly. Celebrated a birthday there and they gave a complimentary birthday cake. Grace was so prepared that she had a portable light ready for the pictures in low light conditions. Summary: Caffe Fernet truly exceeded my expectations. The first bite of every dish for us was unanimously met with a “Mmmm wow”. The dinner was also elevated with the exceptional service brought to us by Gracella and team. This is my first visit to Caffe Fernet but will definitely not be my last.

This was my second time at Fernet after my first visit around 4 years back and I’m even more impressed by the food, service, and hospitality than my first visit. It was a really hot Sunday afternoon and my partner and I had been walking our dog for around 2km. We really needed lunch and were so happy to have come to Caffe Fernet. Before the service crew saw our dog, I had asked if we could sit outside and he mentioned how the surface of the tables would be too hot so we can’t. Once he saw our dog, he immediately understood what we needed and prepared a seat at the furthest corner of the establishment where our dog could still be outside without disturbing the other guests (something we’re largely mindful of when dining outside with our pet). They even brought over a container of iced water for our pet which we so deeply appreciate!!! The dishes we ordered were all so delectable and the flavours were so well paired with the mocktail options we’d gotten. It truly made our day and was a highlight to our Sunday. The team on shift this past Sunday afternoon was exceptional and very welcoming. They were all so warm and enthusiastic, also very friendly whenever they engaged in conversation with us or introduced options. For people looking for flavourful non-alcoholic mocktails, this would also be a great place to give their drinks a go.

Perfect time of the year to dine alfresco with a view that’s hard to match. The food is great too, and the enthusiastic team at Caffe Fernet makes for an amazing evening. Will be back for the homemade pastas, served only on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.

I love it here! The staff is great and very accommodating. I love the view and really enjoy the opened restaurant concept. They have a really nice happy hour and it can get quite busy during the week. We had a large party of about 10 or so and they were on point with timing of the meals and the portion sizes were good as well. The staff even asked if there were any dietary restrictions, which was very much appreciated. We had so much, I can't even remember everything and some of the entrees are no longer being served as the menu changes. VEAL MEATBALLS san marzano tomato, ricotta, basil 21- very filling, easily one is plenty! MARINATED CALAMARI sun-dried tomato, fennel pollen 17- you can never go wrong with Calamari, cooked perfectly! AHI TUNA TARTARE calabrian chilli, green onion, sesame 21- light and full of flavor!

My second time visiting caffe fernet, this time for dinner. We were seated in a far back corner which wasn't too bad since there was a fan and even though it wasn't at the water edge we still had a pretty good view of the bay and MBS. We ordered cacio e Pepe ($26), pompano piccata ($42), and burrata ($24). For drinks a friend and I shared the watermelon frose pitcher ($68). My favourite was the burrata with green tomatoes and lime. The tomatoes were kind of spicy and were sort of like tomatillos, went really well with the creamy burrata. The piccata isn't something I would usually order but it was very good as well, the skin was crispy and I loved the trout caviar on top. Service wise- we didn't have the best experience. Understand that they were very busy and I think it might have partly been because our table was tucked in the corner but we were trying to flag down someone for more than 10 minutes with no success. Eventually my friend had to get up to get someone to wait on our table. They were very apologetic though and gave us a free dessert (honey cake) to compensate which we were very grateful for

Great view and great service! The lunch set is a bit pricey; but if you think you're paying for the amazing view of marina bay sands, then it's worth it!

This is another place that had been on my list to hit! I was craving pasta on a Friday evening and made my way down to the waterfront. As soon as I walked in, the ambiance was really nice. I had a wine slushy (!) first because I was so hot and then ordered a glass of red wine from the Happy Hour menu. The bartender recommended the homemade sausage and smoked ricotta pasta (something alone those lines) and it was nice and savory and salty, which is what I wanted. I And, the views were pretty sweet! I look forward to trying more goodies from here!
