Caffè Nero

Went for a coffee break after a walk in the area. Tried their seasonal Spiced Pear Latte and it has a smooth texture and not a strong coffee. The cafe offers a selection of bagels and sandwiches, and a couple of cakes to complement your drink with. Espresso seems to be a popular drink from the patrons.

My first Cafe Nero experience! I loved the chicken croissant, rest everything else was average. The service was good. But I would rate it 3.5/5 if google had that option. They location is the key! I am not sure of stepping in any other Cafe Nero again!

Came in during a bitterly cold day, and immediately felt so relaxed. Cozy seating, fireplaces, and great nooks for reading and snacking. Food is also pretty good, so be prepared for a very cozy hour or 3 with great snacks, pastry and coffee.

On Sunday morning, this was the only place open, so I went to buy a drink. When I entered the shop and greeted the staff, they ignored me and just kept talking to each other. Even after I finally placed my order, one of them continued chatting without doing any work, and it took about 10 minutes to get just two lattes. When the drinks were ready, they hardly tasted of espresso—basically just milk.

When I was reading the name of this coffee shop, at first glance I thought it said “coffee nerd” I thought that would be an interesting place to check out. Once in Caffe Nero, I realized that I had gotten the name of the establishment wrong, but I loved the vibe and the cute set up. I was also excited to see the single origin coffee from Brazil. I prefer Brazilian coffee. I had the cold brew with a splash of half and half and the bacon breakfast sandwich. The coffee was smooth and delicious and the bacon breakfast sandwich was very good. I highly recommend!

Stopped in for a small cold foam cold brew and a breakfast sandwich. $15 before tip. The coffee was fine but the breakfast sandwich was one of the worst I’ve ever had at a coffee shop. Stale and chewy, and much smaller than I expected. Not worth the money at all.

Male cashier with Afro was great. The girl not so much. If you’ll say something make sure customer is not looking in your direction.

The design of the store is not to my taste, too much dust and chairs upstairs during opening hours… Flat white but fine.
