Just dropped by Caffè Nero recently and I've got some thoughts to share. Overall, it was a pretty good experience, but there's a bit of room for improvement.
First up, the vegan elderberry cake – total winner! It was delicious, like seriously good. The cake was moist and the elderberry flavor was just right – not too overpowering but definitely there. It's great to find a place that does vegan options right, and this cake hit the spot.
The cappuccino was another highlight. It was well-made, with the right amount of foam and the perfect temperature. As someone who's pretty particular about their coffee, I was impressed. It's the kind of cappuccino that makes your day a little better.
However, there's a bit about the staff that I think could be improved. Don't get me wrong, they weren't rude or anything, but they weren't exactly super welcoming either. I think a friendly greeting and a bit more warmth would make a big difference. It's nice to feel welcomed when you go to a cafe, especially if it's a place you're thinking of visiting regularly.
The cafe itself has a cool vibe. It's cozy and a great spot to chill out with friends or even just to hang out by yourself with a good book. The whole atmosphere is pretty relaxed, which I like.
So, I'm giving Caffè Nero a solid 4 stars. The cake and coffee are definitely worth coming back for. If the staff were a bit more welcoming, I'd easily bump it up to 5 stars. It's amazing how much of a difference that can make to the whole experience. Looking forward to my next visit!
