Most people will line up for the viral slow pour deliciousness, and rightly so! It was snowing and 8 degrees outside and standing there watching the snow cover the streets and all the other people in line was not a deterrent a bit. The pastries were excellent and of course their coffee is a must try. Had another hot beverage as well. I would have loved to sit down and enjoy the ambiance but as viral spots go, I was just glad to enjoy their offerings. I would happily line up again in an another snowstorm, even for an iced drink.

Caffe Paradiso is an absolute gem. We tried the Salted Brown Butter latte and the Oak latte, and both were outstanding—unique, well-balanced, and thoughtfully crafted. Went to Caffe Paradiso based on the TikTok hype and left underwhelmed. The salted brown butter latte tasted like Coffee Mate mixed with Nescafé instant coffee not what you’d expect from a place with this much buzz. For $7 plus tip, you expect a lot more. The atmosphere is cute and I get why it looks good on camera but there are plenty of other cafes around that will actually deliver on the cup. Skip the hype.

The latte is exactly what you expect, worth the hype. It is a very well balanced drink, not too sweet, rich and flavourful. The line moves very quick, we got there at 3pm and waited 5 mins. We got the cream added on top and hung around the bar, it’s a very tight space. Definitely recommend if you are in the area.

Went to NYC with my wife for a weekend and we went here for coffee. We went to multiple places a day for coffee but we always kept coming back to here for some great coffee. Not only are the drinks delicious but the employees are some of the nicest around! I absolutely recommend this place to anyone! They do take a lot of pride and care into the coffee so sometimes depending on what you get you might have to be a little patient but it is worth it. I keep wishing I could have another coffee from here, until next time!

My husband and I had a great experience at Caffè Paradiso. The line was about 30 minutes, but it was absolutely worth the wait. I ordered the famous Salted Brown Butter Oat Latte, and it did not disappoint. We were lucky enough to grab a couple of seats at the bar as people were leaving, so we got to relax and hang out for a bit. My husband ordered the Magic, a cortado, and it was delicious. I enjoyed my latte so much that I ended up getting a second one, and Sam generously gave my husband another cortado as well. Overall, the drinks, service, and atmosphere were wonderful. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in the city.

Great service and great people! The line was outside but they processed my order very fast and they are very kind. Did I say the coffee was great? The salted brown butter & oat latte was so delicious! The hot chocolate and the Strawberry & Matcha as well.

The brown butter latte is absolutely worth the hype — rich flavor, smooth, and creamy. I just wish they offered more size options, because after waiting in a long line, it’s gone in just a few sips. The portion feels small for the price, so a larger size would make the experience even better.

hopped in the short line because my sister had to try the viral Salted Brown Butter & Oat Latte on tap a few days ago on her biiiiirthday. i was excited to see (i don't drink coffee, but will come for the moral support..) she LOVED her latte, and it was aesthetically pleasing in the branded cup. she said: "It was one of the best coffees I've ever had, it was so perfectly sweet." Reasonably priced @ $7 too imo. they have a large assortment of drinks + a couple of pastries and baguette sandwiches. like i said, small line outside the door which may be common but it moved quickly! *incredible* customer service, too. the blonde woman (my apologies as I wish I got her name) managing the line made our visit, albeit quick, feel so special. it was a lasting memory made

The best! We had a full itinerary and almost wasn't going to stop by Caffe Paradiso but so glad we went. We joined a small line outside a rainy day last month right before a rush hour crowd. Very busy place but the staff were fabulous and had a great organization system going on. Once we made it inside, we placed our order with the cashier and went inside to the bar/counter area to wait for our drinks. The bar area has great ambience and a nice chilled vibe going on. Great for photo ops. I ordered the draft Salted Brown Butter & Oat Latte and it was the best coffee I've ever had. The regular size is like a tall size at Starbucks so I wish I ordered one more...now I'll have to fly to NYC just to drink this delicious coffee again. No wonder the line was so long! Also ordered the White Chocolate Shakerato - very interesting taste. The coffee was super small and quite sour to the taste. Didn't really taste the white chocolate within the coffee but there were a bunch of them on top of the coffee. My friend also ordered a Strawberry Matcha and said it just taste very matcha-y. Overall, it was definitely worth the wait and I'd fly back just for that brown butter coffee!!

Visited on a Tuesday morning, because when i first stopped by before work last Friday there was a line outside! I didn't know what to expect when I heard about this place but just that they had a latte on tap! The concept seemed so insane yet hilarious i had to stop and try it. Unfortunately this place is SUPER close to my job which makes it hard for me to not come back. LOL Coffee was super tasty yet well balanced! I loved that they warmed my croissant but it wasn't the best. It's a great place to chat at but i can't say they have any separation for where to order from and the seating. Can't wait to be back

They only had two seats which were taken when we went, but we wouldn't have sat in there anyway, because it was crowded. I wish the space was larger, so we could've sat down and enjoyed our drinks, but overall, it was still worth the visit.

I got the Paradiso Cream Top - iced americano w panna and my friend the Salted brown butter & oat latte - iced espresso w house made salted butter oatmilk. I was happy with my drink - delicious balance between the Americano and cream top. One of the staff recommended my friend add a cream top to his brown butter oat latte which turned out to be overly sweet. No issues with service. It's a tight space inside. Order to-go only.

I did try the viral brown butter latte and I fear it DID live up to the hype PLUS some, not to mention the baristas are happy to be there and are just the most kind. They greeted us and made our day! Other coffee shops forget that customer service goes a long way. This spot did not disappoint and the matcha was top tier so strong and rich! Try the cream top with the brown butter latte, you'll be craving it from 500 miles away like me. I think this is gonna be a regular stop every trip.

The line was long when we arrived, and it got even longer as we waited, so be prepared for bit a wait. The coffee is on tap which I had never seen before and thought that was pretty cool. Very very small establishment but everyone was very sweet, it's adorable inside and they make some damn good drinks. Don't expect to sit down, I got lucky and sat at one of the two stools and was able to watch how they operate for an hour or so. They do everything with precision and care. That was one of the best banana bread I have had in awhile and the drinks were creamy and delicious. Deff stop by if you are in New York, this place is a MUST!

Living up to the hype there is in fact a latte dispenser !! I wasn't sure what I was walking into since I caught a rush of people and it was pretty crowded inside. It's a very small cafe with very limited seating (3 bar seats). However, drinks come out in seconds as you can imagine with the most popular being the salted brown butter and oat latte so the go in and out quickly. The staff is really nice and super helpful with explaining drinks and asking about preferences to give you great references. They really do it right with specializing in what they do best and never missing.

Their autumn latte was tasty too, especially with the mix of cinnamon, cardamom, and nutmeg. This one was sweeter than expected and the pistachio milk didn't really come through. The caffe itself has very limited bar seating but it is really cute with the marbled counter tops and mirrors/gold accents. Lines moved at a reasonable pace on a weekend. Staff were polite.

I have never had coffee on tap before. It was so creamy and it was honestly so good. There isn't really anywhere to sit or hangout, it's more of an order to go place. The team is all friendly and helpful, the place is cute, clean and smells good. The coffee is amazing!!!! If you are going all this way to try it, try what they are known for.

For me, it makes trying spots in NYC really fun. Caffe Paradiso went viral for their draft salted brown butter latte. I love a draft latte because the draft makes the coffee frothy and so smooth (la colombe has these as well if you want to try a draft latte without a line). I'm not sure why, but I drink a draft latte much faster than a regular, so you may finish it quickly! The salted brown butter was sweet with the slight salt that makes the flavors addicting. For the people saying "it's not salty", it's because the flavor story is similar to eating salted caramel where it is still very sweet. There was a line out the door and down the sidewalk when I got there, we waited about 15-20 mins to get inside. I felt the line moved decently fast since they are quickly getting orders out. Inside, the place is decorated more like an upscale bar than a cafe, with beautiful touches for the holidays. The menu also features some seasonal items, like a hot chocolate with panna that was rich and I really enjoyed. We also ordered a strawberry matcha, which honestly I would not recommend. While the matcha was smooth and good quality, the strawberry syrup wasn't my favorite. Overall, it was a fun experience and they do have a great draft latte and hot chocolate. It's too popular to go often, but I would love to have that latte again!

My most recent favorite flavor is the salted brown butter oat latte - it was so delicious I came back twice in a week. Besides the famous tap, they also have a variety of creative espresso drinks. The lines can get long on the weekends so I would recommend coming on a weekday afternoon for no wait. There's only a small bar inside for seating 4-5 people max.

The latter of tap is one of the best espresso based drinks I have ever had in my life. The inside of the cafe is beautiful, and it's really efficient how they have it set up. Rich, salty, creamy, chilled, powerful, on tap,... there just isn't another chilled cup of coffee better. That finishing touch they put on top of the ice right before they pull the tap over the square cubes of ice, is money. There are sooo many cups of great iced coffee in NYC and Caffe Paradiso is near the top if not the best. There is no where really to sit, there are a few counter seats but your best bet is to grab your cup and head across the street to Elizabeth Street Garden to chill (if it is open). The service is always great, I've never had a disappointing experience ever. The line will most likely be long but it moves quickly.

It was opened by the team behind the world-famous bar Dante, so the quality and aesthetic are top-tier.It is sleek, minimalist, and "quiet luxury." It's a tiny, standing-room-only (or limited seating) spot that feels like an authentic Italian espresso bar transported to NYC. My college daughter has to try the drink that they are famous for - their Salted Brown Butter Oat Latte on tap. It's rich, smooth, and comes with a signature gold straw. Fast and friendly! Busy place with a line, but moves quickly!

This spot is very overhyped in my & my husband's opinion. I had been hearing so much buzz about this cafe so made a point to check it on when in the area on a weekday. There was a very small couple person line when we went. But let me be frank, I would not wait in a long line for a drink at this place. I didn't realize until chillin inside that this place is owned by Dante's (both baristas had their branded aprons on). Makes sense since Dante's has so many batch, pre made cocktails they do. I do find this is a way to cut corners and avoid having to show the quality of products used to make said items. Efficient and higher margins for the business though so I get why they do it. We found the star item here (salted brown butter oat latte) to be very lackluster. It had a strong alcoholic-ish after taste and was too sweet. I just didn't find it balanced at all. Also tried the strawberry matcha and didn't care for it. Low quality matcha and the strawberry syrup was way too sweet. Cute interior and staff was nice but we wouldn't return.

Always a huge line get here early and you'll be able to beat it. We enjoyed the coffee drinks they were well-made and they have a reputation which is why they have such a huge line. They are right next to Prince St., Pizza so if the line is too long you can at least go get a square slice

Came, saw, conquered. Yessss it was good .... Yess I would get it again ... is it worth all the hype though ... not necessarily. I have had some from Starbucks that are better. Just being honest ... but yes I would get it again. Minus the line. lol

October 2025 This drink kept popping up on my Instagram Reels, so I had to try it: the viral Salted Brown Butter Oat Latte. Surprisingly, it was mad good and definitely worth trying. As someone who enjoys slightly sweeter coffee over plain black, I was impressed. It wasn't too sweet, and the flavor was perfectly balanced with the espresso. I didn't expect it to be this good, and now I can't stop thinking about it. I'm going to try to find it in the Bay Area. There was a line when I went, but it moved pretty quickly. Don't let that discourage you. Just wait a few minutes and you'll get to try this viral latte. It's absolutely worth it. The spot is also in a great location near the main shopping area in SoHo.

Let's be frank: there's a reason why the salted brown butter oat latte on tap is viral. It's really that good! The serving size is regrettably smaller than I would like, but we have to keep in mind that I sometimes suffer from the greed that the Bible cautioned against. However, their heirloom tomato/bacon/Gouda sandwich??? Omg. The bacon is baked into the bread. I've never experienced a sorcery like this before. The lines are long, but the food is satisfying.

I go there a lot before Lincoln Center events. Their food is simple, but fresh and tasty. It's definitely no frills, but the operations are sizable and the service is friendly and efficient. Please remember to book in advance! This is one of the few places one can still afford on a night out!

Worth the trip here just for the the salted brown sugar oat latte. This is on tap so it's ready fast and delicious in general. I'm an extremely picky coffee person, mostly because I rarely think spending money on coffee is worth it when I can make it better at home for a fraction of the cost. This latte was balance of sweet and rich without being overwhelming, and the oat milk made it super smooth. We have a three day trip and I'll definitely be coming back for this one.

The Salted Brown Butter & Oat Milk Latte was all over my TikTok and I've been wanting to try it ever since. I came here on a Sunday afternoon and there was a slight line but moved pretty fast. I ordered the latte and they already had it pre-made. Upon first taste, I thought it was good but I didn't see what the hype was about. However, the more I drank it, the more I liked it. The latte was smooth, perfectly sweetened, and overall delicious. I now think about getting this latte everyday. Definitely check this spot out!

This place went viral for a reason! They are known for their viral coffee on tap. I was so hungry I ate their homemade banana bread and almond croissant. Sooo good and it was worth a little line. The ambience is a grab and go but they have bar seating if you are lucky!
