Seattle’s Pioneer Square Is Getting a Rooftop Bar Called Firn | Eater Seattle
"A well-liked local chain has opened its 10th location on the ground floor of the iconic Smith Tower; the press release describes the new coffee shop as "designed as an upscale, art deco-inspired destination that pays homage to the tower’s rich history and architectural grandeur." It’s a welcome addition to the neighborhood and will stay open until 7 p.m. Monday to Saturday (closed Sunday)." - Harry Cheadle
Caffe Vita occupies a massive space on the bottom floor of Smith Tower. There's plenty of seating for anyone looking to stop for a bit, and the atmosphere inside is pleasing and relaxing. The actual coffee our group got was only above average, but the vibes inside before our Smith Tower deck experience were great.

Stopped by around 4pm on a Tuesday—it was pretty quiet. The café itself is a beautiful space, very aesthetically pleasing. I ordered a cardamom latte and honestly wasn’t impressed. The flavor was flat, and nothing about it stood out. With all the great coffee options in Seattle, I expected more.

I love this space and great coffee (pricey but going rate for fancier coffee). Only ask-turn the damn music down! Also, maybe play lo fi or atmospheric not like I’m walking in Anthropologie or Jcrew.

Cozy coffee shop with a variety of seating and comfortable chairs. The espresso is great too. Quite a lot of seating inside and it’s not too busy in the late afternoon.

Cute spot, but very expensive. I got a 16 oz hazelnut latte with almond milk and cost $9 and change, just for the coffee?! But their pastries are very good, still expensive for my taste but delicious when I'm feeling splurgy!!

Yelp
Caffe Vita has recently opened its 10th location on the ground floor of Seattle's historic Smith Tower in Pioneer Square. This new café combines the brand's signature coffee with the vintage charm of the 1914 skyscraper. It has a bright and timeless interior. They carry local favorite pastries, Macrina and The Donut Factory. You get to enjoy Seattle coffee culture and its historic charm in one! To save the best for last, coffee is always spectacular.

Yelp
Wonderful coffee, if a bit high priced, but worth it if you are a coffee afficiando. Latte and donut came to $10. Warning: use the door on 2nd Ave, the door by the light rail is exit only unless you need an accessible entrance. I say at the window bar and saw 2 groups try to enter here... Nope make that 3 groups.

Yelp
$8 for a latte, before tip. Coffee extremely bitter, and so hot I burnt my tongue badly on the first sip. Beautiful space, but what good is it when the coffee is overpriced and awful. Service was meh.
