The best espresso in Modesto! I’m in town visiting from Maryland and always make a point to visit the local coffee shops when traveling. I grind my own beans and make espresso at home, so it was a delight to find a coffee shop that roasts their own beans. Keep up the good work ! And yes, I bought some beans and I’m looking forward to add them to my rotation.

Extremely questionable hygiene, I have never written a review of a business in my life but I felt compelled to for this one. I’ve witnessed two incidents at this establishment that have stopped me in my tracks and made me feel like I was in an episode of The Twilight Zone. The first was about 3 years ago. The customer in front of me complained about their drink. The barista then asked for the drink back and tasted the same exact cup that the customer just drank off of. I thought it gross, but figured maybe at best,the customer and barista could have been family (still would be very unprofessional) A couple weeks ago I revisited for the first time since the initial incident 3 years ago. I ordered a drink and a different barista was snacking on food behind the counter. As they were turning to grab my cup, the barista LICKED THEIR FINGERS and then grabbed my cup and made my drink. This was in front of one of the owners. In a state of shock, I took the drink, blacked out, and when I came to, I was standing in the parking lot trying to figure out what just happened. I really do hope the best for this business, and I’ve enjoyed purchasing their whole beans to enjoy at home. I understand the hipster coffee shop vibe is the goal, but for the love of all that is good and decent please follow some basic hygiene practices.

Very fun and tasty specialty drinks here. Always REALLY great customer service, and fun jazzy instrumental music in the background which makes it a fun atmosphere. It's located inside a health food store, so the indoor seating is only one or two small tables. There's some outdoor seating though.

Been coming here for a while, and have had great experiences most days but today the brunette couldn’t remember my order, was very impatient, and when I didn’t grab my pastry right away, she shook it near my head to get my attention without speaking to me prior. Overall felt an uncomfortable and tense vibe.

Cute little coffee shop and vitamins store. We just visited for the coffee. Really good latte and very warm customer service! We will definitely be revisiting when we are in the area again.

A quaint little coffee spot located within a health food store. I was looking for a good cup of coffee while visiting my father in Modesto. I decided to give this coffee shop a try and I’m so glad I did! I had one of the best cappuccinos I’ve ever tasted here! Their coffee is delicious. Perfect balance of flavors and just the right amount of foam. I’ll definitely be returning for more. Highly recommend this spot to all coffee lovers!

Starting the day with a good espresso makes you see everything in a different way. It's my first time to visit Caffettino on Coffee street. A friendly place with a good atmosphere but above all with good coffee.

The coffee is delicious and the choca coffee is addicting. The service is decent, not over the top super friendly, but they're there to do a job & they make a good coffee. The owner is Italian & he's had the Cornacopia Health Food Store for decades & it smells great due to the coffee & bake goods (try the flour-less brownie). Inside & outside seating available & it's decent & a little charming. BTW, you will be greeted nicely no matter your race or gender (don't listen to the hater who left the nasty comment). If you ask them to leave out the ice don't be surprised if they charge you a small fee bc you're asking for more product & it's not free to them when you think about it. Just enjoy the coffee, take a short break & let life stroll by in a casual mode :)

One of the BEST Chai Lattes I've had! Very delicious! I got mine with oat milk. The place itself is inside the natural food store. After speaking to one of the owners she said, her and her brother opened the cafe in 2021. It's a beautiful, quaint area to enjoy your cup of coffee or tea. There aren't a lot of tables, but it is the perfect amount for the space. The vibe was warm and inviting, and everyone I interacted with was welcoming and had a beautiful energy. If you like chai lattes, I urge you to try theirs! I will def come here again when I'm in the area!

Cute little coffee spot inside another shop-Cornucopia Natural Food. Same plaza as the Hoki Korean BBQ. It was my first time here! I came on my birthday so I wanted something cute! The barista is super nice and accommodated my requests! I ordered the SCM with oat milk. Delicious! Not too sweet not too bitter! Not much seating inside but some tables outside. Beware though there are lots of mosquitos!

I came in to replenish my vitamins as this store it's both a health store and coffee shop. When I would come in I thought it was strange and never cared to try it before. The store wasn't always like that as well. Anyway was I wrong the coffee is delicious and for two coffees it was cheaper than a certain mermaid conglomerate coffee. The baristas are friendly and know how to make a wonderful coffee. Next time I need to pick up some vitamins or get a coffee to go with my cannoli. They have an exceptional Cheesecake Factory in the same shopping center just an fyi. I'll for sure get some coffee for sure!

Quick stop in Modesto for Thanksgiving and had to find a good coffee spot. After asking some trusted coffee friends, Caffettino was the winner. Rarely have I found a coffee shop that can duplicate my local's shops drink (iced Shakerato) but without skipping a beat, the barista crushed it. He even had ties to San Diego which was cool. Great customer service from a family owned business. They even knew about shaking up the espresso with the ice (big win) I just wish they had a little better brand of oat milk. I think it was the Kirkland brand which for me has a really strong oat taste. A different oat milk would have made this even better. That said, the quality of the coffee and the customer service has me giving .

Went back...Chaka Cold Brew is my new favorite drink. Adult chocolate milk but caffeinated . My sister had their SCM and she loved it.

Randomly tried this coffee place today in modesto and it was actually pretty bomb coffee. Def will be back. Service was fast and ambiance is nice too, has a supplement shop inside the coffee shop. Great staff!

I love this cozy hole-in-the-wall coffee shop and will forever rave about it to everyone I know. I usually get a hot black coffee or a shot of espresso--it tastes so authentic and gets the job done every time. Everything here is so simple yet thoughtful. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff are incredibly friendly.

Charging $.50- $1.00 for LIGHT ICE or NO ICE is on a entire other level of GREED. The owner should be embarrassed that they even thought about putting that on the menu. Like seriously $1 charge for NO ICE. I work in an office environment, and sometimes we choose no ice or light ice because by the time we get to the office with all the drinks. It's very melted, and the drink is diluted.

BEST COFFEE IN TOWN. I have had the best coffee ever here. This is a Modesto gem. The employees know their stuff and make great recommendations. Their plain black coffee is great and my go to, but their iced chai latte is always a treat as well. Highly recommend, you won't find anything better around!

BEST COFFEE EVER!!! Not just the best coffee in town, seriously. It's the best period. Giovanni and Gianna make the best partners for their cafe and the rest of the team really care about making that special cup of Joe for you! My favorite drink is a decaf Lavender latte with MCT oil. The MCT is healthy for you and makes your latte even more creamy. My children love the hot chocolates too! Give yourself a treat and get the best coffee ever!!!

Nestled inside a health food store, I was delighted to find this gem of a coffee shop which roasts their own coffee beans. That art is all onto itself a rarity to find. So it goes without saying that their coffee is delicious! I personally don't care for the overrated corporate coffee places but will go out of my way for a locally owned coffee shop (and roaster!) like this one. The customer service is also very welcoming and friendly. I definitely recommend it!

We've been here a few times and I think it's time for a review. Customer service - literally top notch! The baristas and owner (Gio) are so kind and really welcoming to all customers. They answer questions and give suggestions depending on what the customer enjoys. Coffee - I've tried a few of a different items on their menu and it doesn't disappoint! What I truly enjoy from their drink selections is that the drinks are not made with artificial syrups and it doesn't make the drink overly sweet. I definitely recommend all my coffee friends to this coffee shop. Best coffee in town!

First off we love the store already, then they have coffee too?! All the workers are super sweet, they were able to customize my mom's coffee because she likes just plain vanilla lattes. So they did it with vanilla extract instead of pumps of sugary vanilla, it was so good. She's very picky with coffee too. But the coffee is 10/10. The flavors they have and it's just not the average coffee shop. The ambiance is really cute and I love how it's an intimate setting. I got the maple syrup cinnamon coffee! So good.

I moved to Modesto from LA this past April and coffee is what makes me feel at home. I resorted to Starbucks for awhile bc it was the only familiar place for me. I found Caffetino (took me long enough lol) and honestly, I couldn't be happier. First off, to the former customer saying "unless you're white, you won't get greeted," what? I'm Vietnamese and they are so nice to me. Customer service A+. It's also in the cutest little Italian market. Second time I came, the sweetest man offered me fresh cooked sourdough bread while I waited for my coffee. So yummy! My go-to order here is the Maple Cinnamon, decaf, with oatmilk. It is THEE BEST version of this that I have ever had. I order cinnamon coffees everywhere and this one is definitely now my top one. I sit outside and enjoy my coffee (both hot or iced is splendid). I look forward to waking up and coming here. Thanks, guys! Can't wait for tomorrow now.

This spot is truly a hidden treasure! I loved that they were connected to a health and nutrition store right when you walk in, you can smell the fresh roasted coffee. 10/10 experience, and the service was also a 10 out of 10!

Caffetino has been my go-to coffee shop lately. I find myself there all the time for my morning coffee. I get the Chaka drink and am obsessed with it! I recommend this place to all my friends to try it out.

I've been wanting to try this place for awhile and finally got to try it. The coffee stand is located inside Cornucopia Nutrition shop, which was hard to locate at first using Google Maps. But once I was inside, it was a very humble and comforting experience. Jarret, the barista behind the bar, was very honest and gave me recommendations for what to try. I decided to try his recommendation for the SCM mocha, which was very delicious. The big takeaways I had were how friendly the staff was and the fact that the ingredients they use are natural. Highly recommend going to them for a pick-me-up.

Probably the best coffee in the country [No lie]. If you're a serious coffee connoisseur this is your place. The staff is very knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. If you have any questions about coffee, i.e., fermentation, roasting, how to make the perfect cup, et cetera, this is the spot. Next level coffee.

It took me 20 minutes to find the shop. It is inside a healthy alternative convenient store. There are absolutely no signs or advertisements on the outside to showcase the coffee spot is inside. It took a lot of searching to realize it was inside. I got a strawberry matcha latte. I wouldn't go back. It was a below basic matcha with strawberry jam mixed in.

Don't get the strawberry matcha unless you like milk. My friend and I were extremely underwhelmed considering the great reviews. There was absolutely no matcha taste in the drink. Tasted like straight milk. Their coffee cake muffin was good. Also, the customer service was poor.

I have been coming to this amazing spot since 2020 and it just keeps getting better! The choices of drink are not overwhelming. The service is Amazing! Friendly, respectful, and super helpful! Located in a health food store gives it a special twist of awesomeness! Giovanni (owner operator with his sister Gianna) is not a pushy salesmen, but truly cares for the people that frequent their shop. When my allergies were through the roof crazy, he gave me some sample homeopathic remedies that actually worked! But I digress, let's talk coffee!!! "The Thoroughbred" is their unique espresso blend that lives up completely to the name. This could easily be the the best coffee in town! High quality ingredients with high quality customer service ALWAYS gets 5stars from me. This however is the first coffee spot I wish I could give a Michelin Star too. It's THAT GOOD! Promise it won't disappoint.

Undoubtedly the best espresso in Modesto. I am over the moon for their regular latte and my partner says that the Americano was perfection. The good coffee and the friendly service make this a must stop cafe. My first go around I couldn't find it but it's located inside cornucopia health food store which is also amazing!

Unfortunately had to throw out my coffee after one sip because it was that bad. I ordered an iced vanilla latte with oat milk and it was the most watered down coffee I've ever had. I don't know if it's the type of oatmilk they use, or if the ratio of milk to espresso, but it was wayyy too milky and just undrinkable. I was really looking forward to trying this spot but won't ever come back. Sorry.

I love this place for delicious coffee and tea in a beautiful bar and in a great setting of the health food store. As a vegan, I appreciate that there's really no drink that's off limits, and as a healthy vegan, they add great ingredients like turmeric so it's a win-win for me. Highly recommend!

Finally made it in here to try their coffee, and it did not disappoint. I couldn't make up my mind what to indulge in, so the very friendly server asked what I liked. I told him I love a good cortado and he made me a cup. So good! I'm so happy there's a non-chain, good quality coffee place in northeast Modesto - definitely fills a void. Their hours are a bit limited (they close by 2:00) so get in before then.

Hands down my favorite place to get coffee! I was not a coffee fan until about 3 weeks ago when Gianna suggested the Chaka! Literally tastes like a chocolate fudgcicle with coffee in there! The coffee isn't over bearing and it's not bitter tasting! It's seriously so good! They are great with their returning customers and even better to new ones to keep them coming back! Please go try it and I promise you'll never want Starbucks coffee again!!!

This is a great Modesto coffee gem. They really love their craft in there and service level is top notch. There's nothing better than gettin freshly roasted beans each week and to be able to discuss the roasts with Giovanni himself. Also, there some interesting and unique drinks they've come up with. Always worth the trip.
