Stopped by Caffi Porthor during a visit to Porthor Beach and was pleasantly surprised. The café offers a variety of dishes, including multiple vegan options like house-made falafel, vegan breakfasts, burgers, and pizzas with vegan cheese . The food was tasty and satisfying, perfect after a beach walk.
The café has both indoor and outdoor seating, and dogs are welcome outside. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable.
Note that the car park nearby is managed by the National Trust and costs £5 for the day, with no option for shorter durations . Also, while the beach is known as “Whistling Sands,” the sand didn’t whistle during our visit—perhaps due to the weather or sand conditions.
Overall, Caffi Porthor is a charming spot to grab a bite with a beautiful view of the bay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area.
