Great chicken, especially for the price. Juicy and the spicy seasoning was perfect for my taste buds. The caja sauce tasted much like cane sauce but I don't mind since it's so good. Customer service was great, would definitely recommend getting food here if going to Graze!

The spicy chicken was very juicy. The chicken tender was okay. It was crunchy. They brush it with the spicy sauce. It tasted like it's been brined. The flavor profile wasn't exactly what I imagined. It wasn't spicy to me at all. Very mild spice. I ordered a side of their hot sauce, and it was very sweet. The flavor wasnt for me, but overall, the chicken was cooked thoroughly and crunchy.

I love Brasa, so we were very disappointed in the chicken sliders from here. The buns were ice cold, the chicken was dry and overcooked, and the coleslaw was under the chicken, making the bun soggy. The fries were good, however, hot and crispy. These issues are easy to fix. Dry chicken and cold buns are really inexcusable in a chicken place, especially at $15.75 for the plate. A smile from the staff would help.

When I heard that the Brasa/Alma folks were opening a fried chicken spot, I knew I had to get over there and give it a try. We got a couple of tenders and bones in chicken. Both chicken options were awesome. The chicken was tender and moist, the coating was light and seasoned perfectly. I've been trying a lot of "hot" chicken options around town lately and Caja chicken, by far was the most satisfying. It didn't overwhelm with thick batter, grease, or that salt-bomb sensation, and sans bright red artificial coloring that other places seem to have. After we were done with our original order, we had to go get a few more tenders because they were so good! Is it possible to have a light feeling after eating fried chicken?! Yes, yes it is! It is also great that the restaurant is very intentional about where and from whom they source their meat/ ingredients and are allergy-friendly!!!! I didn't know how parking would go, but I easily snagged a street spot right outside of Graze on a Saturday at noon. Graze is cool too, I will keep it in mind for the summer. I liked how they had the self-serve water stations and the free pac man arcade game 🤪

Got the three piece dinner, Mac & cheese, and a side of red beans and rice. The flavors of everything were ok, but the portion size is so small, and the cook on the chicken was so dry. You basically get three chicken nuggets, and like a cup sized serving of each side. For $15 a plate I was disappointed. Very friendly people and service was perfect. Just didn’t love the food.

I've known about Caja coming to Graze for months and it did not disappoint. The chicken was fried and breaded perfectly. The Alma team has shown once again that simple & nourishing food is the key to something special. The fact that they focus on premium ingredients and inhouse cooking for all steps of the process to get the food to you elevates it easily to 5/5 stars across the board. They take all feedback and opinions seriously, there are few large restaurant groups I can comfortably support in the cities but Alex Roberts and the team behind him truly care about every little thing from supporting staff, premium ingredients and the experience you receive. Genuinely hope to see Caja succeed as a concept that can rival the more established fried chicken places. Fully expect this place to be busy when the weather warms up and people get out & about again. Try it before everyone else discovers it.

Caja Fried Chicken: Worth the Hype If you like fried chicken done right, Caja Fried Chicken should be on your list. This isn’t just your standard fried chicken—it’s well-executed, full of flavor, and made with attention to detail. 🌟 The Signature Caja Fried Chicken The highlight is the Signature Caja Fried Chicken—crispy, juicy, and seasoned just enough to keep each bite interesting. The crust has a solid crunch without being too heavy, and the meat stays tender and flavorful. It’s simple but done exceptionally well. 🍌 The Banana Pudding Dessert is just as solid. Caja’s Banana Pudding is smooth, rich, and delicious. It’s sweet but not over the top—just a good way to wrap up the meal. 🔥 Why It’s Worth Trying Caja Fried Chicken is a great example of how simple food, when done with care, can stand out. Everything is thoughtfully made, from the seasoning to the sides, and it delivers without feeling overcomplicated. If you haven’t been yet, it’s definitely worth checking out.

Spicy chicken slider wasn’t spicy. They buns were cold and soggy, ehich a crazy combo just pick one. And they tea was barely more than water just colored.
