Within a quarter mile of this place there are at least two other places that sell crawfish and other seafood in a similar manner. This place has the nicest storefront and is perhaps the most spacious. But because of that, its prices are marked up.
While the crawfish sold here are indeed large, I found their flavor to be lacking. They were cooked and spiced, but compared to "the whole shebang" sold at The Boiling Crab chain of restaurants (in Texas and California) this place is really lacking.
The flavor of the corn is also disappointing - nonexistent really.
I bought a blue crab here and they gave it to me cold, which really upset me.
The onion rings are decent. As are the jalapeno poppers.
But again, things here are overpriced for what you get. Just half a block away from this place, J's Bayou Seafood sells pretty much the same stuff for a bit cheaper. The flavoring is different, though not necessarily better (again, The Boiling Crab has ruined me). But J's Bayou Seafood is tucked away in the corner and there's another nearby crawfish place that looks shady from the outside, so Cajun Corner benefits from its aesthetic appeal.
I wouldn't say the prices here are expensive per se, but I do feel slightly ripped off knowing I can get the same stuff elsewhere for cheaper.
Finally, as is customary with these places, everything is sold to go.
