Everything was nice, hot and fresh. The seafood was seasoned perfectly with just right amount of spicy.

The food was great. From the fried food to the boiled seafood. You can’t dine in but the place is clean, the staff is professional and there wasn’t a long wait time. I definitely recommend stopping here for a bite to eat.

The boil seafood is good and spicy and the lady behind the counter was very nice and friendly.

This is a pickup place. The customer service is always good and the food is delicious. I always make it my first stop when arriving in New Orleans. Highly recommend.

Google
The food is very good! The crawfish was nice and spicy, prices are reasonable too!

Glad I found this place. Gumbo was seasoned perfect. Just needed more rice. Had that real cajun kick. Crablegs were big and very flavorful. I mean real huge. One cluster will fill you up. Finally the pig feet were the best I've had so far. Very spicy. Had my lips burning but I didn't mind. I will be returning. Lady at counter was super friendly. A lil pricey but I didn't mind.

So far the food is ok. But don't get the red beans. It looks like they put cold cuts in the beans for seasoning.

The best shrimp Poboys you can get on the West Bank! Lowkey place and very friendly employees. Go check it out!

Yelp
My mother frequents this place on special occasions as well as the other seafood restaurant down the road, I'd review each of them righteously and say in confidence that they are good at what they are doing, I'm not much of a seafood eater, but I do know as a kid, whenever my mom got crawfish I was no longer her son and she'd eat me if I so much as raise my hand for so much as touch the remains. She loves these places and I have never seen her so untamed. Nothing and I mean NOTHING has gotten her this riled up in her life, not 100% sure if it's this restaurant in particular, but each restaurant gives her around the same reaction. I just suggest you test your pallet and see which one you prefer!

Yelp
I love seafood! And I really love GOOD SEAFOOD and this place delivers it! Every time I visit this place, I'm left beyond satisfied! The customer service is awesome! The parking lot is always clean and has ample space. The inside is always clean and has the smell of freshly cooked food. There's a drink area with a huge selection of drinks to compliment your meal. I started off ordering the seafood but have upgraded to the cooked food. Their turkey necks are very juicy and meaty. Their shrimp are boiled to perfection. The gumbo is awesome and meaty and the portion size is enough for 2 people. The staff is always friendly and professional! I am now a new regular. This is my lunch spot and I look forward to eating here, as often as possible.

Yelp
My dad loved the gumbo from here. Forget the tourist traps in the French Quarter! This is where real locals dine. I have to say the wings are EXCELLENT! Forget Popeyes, the original is my favorite. You can always ask them go customize a sauce to your liking. Since NOLA has a large Vietnamese presence, ask for Nuoc Mam (flavored fish sauce) flavor. Definitely a secret menu item.

Yelp
Great food, quick and easy. This is a good stop for the foodie on the go, that does not want to take a pit stop at their local drive through. The menu is grand and offers a wide variety of lunch or dinner options. Oh yeah and the place is clean!!

Daniel P.

Yelp
Always been my go to seafood place. They have the best hand picked crawfish and not to mention their hot plates are . The staff at cajun corner are all friendly and this place is kept super clean. This place has always been my go to for sacks of crawfish, fried chicken wing trays and more. Love this place overall!

Yelp
My first time trying this place was yesterday. Lord have MERCY! The blue crabs were so good. I think these might have been the best crabs I've ever tasted. They were full, SPICY but flavorful. I will go back to see if it's consistent and I am excited to try their crawfish. Crabs were $4.99 a piece but worth every cent.

Ashlee V.

Yelp
I cannot believe they call this fried chicken. It taste like old grease, pieces are EXTREMELY tiny, fries taste like they've been refried. Highly disappointed

Yelp
Within a quarter mile of this place there are at least two other places that sell crawfish and other seafood in a similar manner. This place has the nicest storefront and is perhaps the most spacious. But because of that, its prices are marked up. While the crawfish sold here are indeed large, I found their flavor to be lacking. They were cooked and spiced, but compared to "the whole shebang" sold at The Boiling Crab chain of restaurants (in Texas and California) this place is really lacking. The flavor of the corn is also disappointing - nonexistent really. I bought a blue crab here and they gave it to me cold, which really upset me. The onion rings are decent. As are the jalapeno poppers. But again, things here are overpriced for what you get. Just half a block away from this place, J's Bayou Seafood sells pretty much the same stuff for a bit cheaper. The flavoring is different, though not necessarily better (again, The Boiling Crab has ruined me). But J's Bayou Seafood is tucked away in the corner and there's another nearby crawfish place that looks shady from the outside, so Cajun Corner benefits from its aesthetic appeal. I wouldn't say the prices here are expensive per se, but I do feel slightly ripped off knowing I can get the same stuff elsewhere for cheaper. Finally, as is customary with these places, everything is sold to go.

Yelp
Not bad. Great food, smells clean, fast service, won't say friendly customer service but not really rude either. Only thing is they're a little pricey but that's their right.

Yelp
Call before you go. Waited in traffic for an hour only to arrive and be told that they were out of shrimp and crawfish and the kitchen was closed.... why have the "Open" sign on if you don't have food?! ‍first and last time visiting. Good luck to the rest of you.

Julia W.

Yelp
I love the flavor of their crabs and crawfish. The people working here are really friendly. I can't wait until crab season starts back up since this place is just a few minutes from my house.

Yelp
Late post; Awesome, Awesome, Awesome! Last week I visited for the first time, tje management and staff are very respectful, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I ordered the combo yakamein, hot wings, regular wings, shrimp fried rice, and fries. There is truly something great and awesome when you can taste that food is fresh and hasn't been sitting all day. Everything I ordered tasted great and was still hot and fresh when i made it home. Today I returned and tried the crab legs and Turkey necks to include more wings and yakamein. Again, everything was great and awesome with friendly service. Everything was prepared quickly again and wait time was not long. An awesome establishment that has to be a hidden gem.

Yelp
Well time for an update. The service is still quick and friendly. So I have no complaints there. My biggest complaint has to be the food. I ordered a pound of shrimp and one turkey neck with corn and smoked sausage. The shrimp was overcooked, it was rubbery and tough to peel from the shell. In fact it was so bad that not even seagulls would eat it. The turkey neck was cooked right but I felt it was too spicy. Like burn your mouth kind of spicy. The corn had been sitting in the water too long. The smoked sausage was nasty, I could tell they used Mr T smoked sausage. But that was the last time I went. In short the food here is not consistent enough for me to make a return trip.

Yelp
So nice! It was super cheap and delicious. The folks running it are very sweet and it came pretty fast. I just walked in to order take out and it came out fairly quick. Be warned, because its fresh, sometimes they're out of a certain seafood, so if you are very particular then you should call ahead. It's the perfect place for a quick order if you're on the west westbank and don't wanna face the 90/I10 traffic.

Jonathan L.

Yelp
Cheap. Delicious. And amazing. Will drive an hour and a half to get some. And I did just that.

Yelp
This place is awesome!!!!!! I have recommend this place to countless people! If you want great seafood and service, visit this place!!!!!!!!

Yelp
[Edit} Review lowered to 1 star due to rude customer service follow-up] I've sort of had a bad few weeks and the Girly wanted to cheer me up with some crawfish. This had nothing to do with her own craving of Oyster poboys, nope. Not at all. So we decide to give this "new" place a try. The new building is very nice and clean and chain store-esque. Asked for a crawfish to taste and the young lady was very accommodating. The problem was flavor. Lack of spice and tons of salt made for a lip drying yet bland flavor otherwise. So we needed to go since it was crawfish we were after. I can cook crawfish in straight salt water. And at 3.69 a pound, it was 30 cents more expensive than the place we did settle on just around the corner. I can't comment on any of their other foods. Since I know places close that do great crawfish at lower prices, I doubt there is any reason that I'll ever need to go back. [TO the Owner who posted that I shouldn't review based on a "free" crawfish"] You may not have noticed, but this is a review site and that's exactly what I did. I needed something and came to your business. The version you offered was not good SO I went somewhere else. What would the use be to have eaten more overly-salted and under flavored crawfish? So, yeah...one bite was enough. Since I write reviews, I included the info for others. See how simple that is? P.S. Don't sweat it...it was a good thing. It sent me around the corner to J's Bayou who had better crawfish cheaper. SO thanks.

Caryn W.

Yelp
Best shrimp poboys and excellent boiled seafood. It's never too crowded and the service is always good. The food is cooked to order but never longer than a 10 minute wait. The place is clean and has some NOLA essentials like Chinese noodles and Elmer's cheewees and pineapple Big Shots. Whenever I'm home this is the only place, besides Gene's, that I buy poboys from.

Yelp
By far the best crawfish anywhere! We were on a trip to New Orleans a couple of years ago and had the best crawfish at Cajun Corner. The seasoning is superb and totally addicting. You can't have just one! We were totally craving it back in Utah and emailed the owner. He was nice enough to overnight for our party the next day. OMG, it was just as delicious as we remembered it! They also have great Po boys. Highly recommended if you're in New Orleans.

Pam T.

Yelp
Their crawfish is good, not too spicy no too salty. It's just perfect. and what really get me hooked to this place is gumbo!! Understand that I never liked gumbo or I thought I would never like it until my husband asked me if I want a bite. That's it !! I'm coming back here to get my gumbo every week. Now, i found myself to love gumbo. Gumbo is good and CCS makes it REALLY GOOD!!!

Kadrica W.

Yelp
my favorite seafood place! they never let me down! from seafood to poboys! everything is evergthing this place is literally my second home

Rashad P.

Yelp
I love love love their seafood so I go there to get crawfish and potatoes all the time. I also love their grilled shrimp poboys!

Anita D.

Yelp
The place is clean and the guy taking orders was very nice. Taste wise: decent. Nothing to rave home about. Would I return? Yes I would. Good size portions for the price.

Ryan H.

Yelp
Great service, very nice people. Boiled crawfish is very flavorful and spicy. Fried shrimp, fried and grilled catfish, all excellent. Also have some damn good fried chicken wings and po-boys. Great place for a quick lunch or a taste of NOLA when you're on the move. Food always prepared as ordered and quickly. I call in all the time for take out orders. Only gripe is they don't stay open later but people need a life I guess :)

Alicia C.

Yelp
This food was absolutely delicious. The taste authentic. The workers were absolutely great. There was a variety of food to choose from. I would highly recommend this establishment to any person that loves seafood as much as I did. They had everything from crab legs, shrimp, fish, And the most astounding Shrimp Po boys! The prices were decent considering it was seafood. The place was neat and clean. The only thing I would recommend, would be to expand so there would be an area to dine in. I give this restaurant five Stars! If I could give them 10 I definitely would! My favorite spot in Gretna!

Soo N.

Yelp
LOVE their seafood! Perfect amount of spice and great menu! Don't live in the westbank but I will definitely make the trip for this place!

Yelp
I live 2 minutes from cajun corner. everytime i come i pretty much order the same thing .6 inch shrimp poboy lettuce and tomatoes only.why they always fix my sandwich wrong. last week i went to purchase a turkey neck.they charge me $ 3.06 for one skinny boney turkey neck.I couldn't believe it.I asked the lady did yall go up she said yes and we didn't raise or prices up because of the coronavirus neither we went up on our prices before the virus which is a lie.I would suggest anyone not to go here and spend your money its not worth it.This is why the place is always empty and the food is not all that good and fresh!! I tried cajunland on holmes blvd. They are thee best !!! great food , fresh , huge shrimps on your poboy and fantastic customer service. you get a lot for your money and they prices are very reasonable. cajun corner give you a big skinny turkey neck thats really full of a bag of juice that they soak it in..same for all they seafood you get more juice and they dont try to drain it. if you want good fresh seafood and poboys etc..cajunland is the place with great prices. This place is ridiculous. $3.06 for a turkey neck and i can buy a five pound bag at the store and boil it myself.

Wendy H.

Yelp
I orders fish, shrimp and fried rice with shrimp. It's a nice place if you want something to go. The fried rice with shrimp was really good. the fish and shrimp tasted like it was fried in old oil I was not pleased with either one.

Nanette A.

Yelp
Good good, but they got rid of the takes so you can no longer dine in. That's a huge disappointment do we no longer go there.

Keyara M.

Yelp
Great fish!!! I always order the catfish extra crispy and cajun corner never disappoints. My only complaint is the fries are always cold, like always! I'm a fry person love me some fries, but if they improved their quality of fries I would definitely consider giving a 5. Also you must try the butter cake, soooo good!
