Cajun Food Tours

What a great experience, especially if you're not familiar with southern Louisiana. Not only do you get to sample the areas delectable cuisine, but you also learn some history of Lafayette! Our guide, Jay, was very hospitable, friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I have a gluten intolerance, so they made some changes for me so that I could enjoy the trip just as much as everyone else. The bus is cozy and spacious. We were supplied with bottles of water and a koozie for our drinks. They also provide a cooler should you want to purchase anything from the stops. We got to sample the tastiest boudain at Johnsons Boucaniere, famous po'boy from Olde Tyme Grocery, the best gumbo at Bon Temps Grill, the juiciest gator bites and Crawfish nachos from The Cajun Table, followed by the sweetest king cake, pistachio cake for me, at Poupart Bakery. Absolutely a grand adventure! We'll definitely be returning to all of the businesses to taste more from the menu's.

“Around The World” Food Tour We had such an awesome and fun evening! Having the opportunity to taste food from other cultures / countries was a really unique experience! Our tour guide, Jay Steiner was an excellent and very knowledgeable guide and he definitely enhanced our experience! We are ready for our next Food Tour!

We had THE BEST TIME on our Cajun Food Tour! So Much Fun! Ms. Marie was such an amazing, fun, and knowledgeable tour guide! We visited 5 different restaurants and tried Cajun dishes from each! The bus was decorated with a cute Cajun theme, with Cajun Christmas music to entertain us on the bus ride. The ladies at Advanced Chiropractic will be back!!!

Wonderful three hours eating at places that we would have never known about. Places so authentic that you felt like you have stepped back in time, plus, the food was excellent and the historical stories were so interesting. The bus was decorated in a cute Cajun decor with water, ice chest for purchases, tourism brochures on things to do, and t-shirts and hats for sale. Whitney and Marie were very informative, happy and such a delight to spend three hours with. They had a hard time getting us loaded onto the bus after the last stop since we had all become friends! Highly recommend taking this tour. We will take the evening one should we ever return to Lafayette.

Had a blast on the bus food tour in Lafayette previously, so we decided to try the Breaux Bridge walking tour. Both tours are great and I definitely enjoyed being able to walk off the delicious food between stops. Great snippets of the history of a very charming town, with live Cajun jam bands, antique shopping, a beautiful church, and of course, delicious food in between.

Another great tour in the books! We celebrated our daughter's birthday with all of her favorite people. The food was delicious at every stop and Jay was an awesome tour guide as always! Everyone is looking forward to do it again!

The Cajun Food Tour Bus was amazing!! We visited some quaint restaurants that I will be going back to. The food tasting was great. You are definitely full by the end of the trip. The dessert stop was the best!! Book this tour, you will not regret going!! I will be booking the other tours they offer soon!!

A great tour for tourists and locals. The guide, Jay, was very knowledgeable about local history and made the tour so expansive. Never a dull moment! All of the places we tried were delicious
