CAJUNDOME & Convention Center

Great location, being able to see the volleyball state championship was such a great experience. The seats are comfortable and they had plenty of food available at the concession stands. Bathrooms were clean and they got tvs all over so even if you have to get up you can keep watching the game.

Very clean facility, spacious, and fun. Good food. I’ve always loved events at the Cajundome.

We went here for a comedy concert last week. I was impressed by the food. But the venue lost 2 stars with the condition of the bathrooms for the women. We were in the upper part. Most of the bathrooms, the doors would not lock, and the floor was all broken up. Loose tiles everywhere. I walked in on 4 different women because so many of the bathroom doors did not lock. Please correct this issue. Please repairs the floors.

This was my first Rascal Flatts concert and It was the Best Concert Ever!! They had 2 Surprize guest Lauria Elanie, Chris Lane to open there show It was by far the greatest concert ever.

Really good place to catch a concert. The standing area is great because you can get right up close to the bands, which is what I prefer. Concession stands had plenty, bathrooms were clean without unreasonable wait times. Huge bonus because they have free parking right at the arena. My only caution is to verify your seats, some of them are so far to the side of the stage I don’t know how you could even see the show, and it would definitely throw off the acoustics.

So many experiences at the Cajun convention center where do I start? Where do I begin? There is no ending either but one thing you will do is pass a good time five star definitely without a doubt my memories and more memories to come highly suggest you don’t pass up a chance to go have a good time

We've been enjoying the CAJUNDOME & Convention Center since its beginning. Great location, concerts, sporting events, the Cajun Heartland State Fair and...my baby sister's ULL Graduation. Congrats, Lauren! Ample parking, safe crossing via the underground walkway, and comfortable seating. Enjoy every event here.

I love the Cajundome, but HATE the parking. Signs would help tremendously. Much more than an officer inside their vehicle waving you down to tell you to go park at Cajun Field...I'm not from here so how do I know where Cajun Field is?!

We attended my son's graduation here and the organization and help was impressive. The employees were friendly and very helpful in directing us and answering our questions. The seats were super comfortable and the place was clean. The bathrooms were clean too. My only complaint is parking! Yes, I recommend this place!

The venue was perfect for the event. The reason for the poor rating is the bag checking staff! Y'all are INCREDIBLY INCONSISTENT with the clear bag and tiny wallet policy. Day 1-3 I was able to bring my wallet but day four I can not?! We are not sneaking cheeseburgers in here with our wallets. And also, why allow full sized carry on luggage in here and NOT a wallet. I'm literally watching people with all these bags and outside food and drinks and I know these people aren't athletes. The facilities were clean, the seating is good, the chicken fingers were good but again this bag policy needs work. Also it was very cold...blankets were permitted. And if you need to talk... I'm sitting in section 110 I'll be here all day.

Home of the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns basketball and also the venue for lots of local concerts, graduations and events. The Dome has a rich history in Lafayette and went through a makeover in recent years. One downside is that it isn't a dedicated basketball court and therefore it isn't quite as intimate and well laid out as some other arenas I've been to but the beer is cold, they have lots of food selections and gift shops to buy your favorite gear. M Enjoy!

If I could give this convention center zero stars I would! To elaborate, they have chosen to implement a clear bags policy during Louisiana Comic Con 2022. They are only allowing bags no larger than 12" x 12" x 6. They are ALSO requiring bag checks even though they are requiring clear bags which is just completely asinine. I have been to several conventions this year alone and at every single one I have brought a pull cart for my items I wish to get signed and to carry any merch I were to buy. Now they are telling me I have to find some way to carry 3 full sized helmets, 12 action figures, 14 comics, and tons of other stuff! I have save my hard earned money for months waiting for this convention and to be told I can't bring my items to get signed was a slap in the face! The woman I spoke with at 337-265-2100 was VERY rude to me for just expressing these concerns. All in all, horrible service! Ignorant, pigheaded administration who tells people they can express their concerns but then treat them like garbage when you do and in no way to they care in least bit about the people attending their events.

Had a fun time when I was visiting a friend who lives in the area. We went to Comic Con Lafayette most of the years it has operated, and this year we went to a concert (Backstreet Boys). That was so much fun! So far, all my experiences with the Cajundome have been positive.

I attended Apollo Ball 2018 with my brother and his partner. We sat at the King's table in the front of the room. Our attendant, Joann, was absolutely amazing the entire ball. She was attentive to any need or request the guest at our table had! Thank you, Joann, for adding to the experience!!

Was here on the 29th to watch a friend of my nieces play ball for the UALR Lady Trojans vs the ULL Lady Cajuns....really cool venue for watching basketball...plus they sell beer!!! C'mon, they sell beer, what's not to like!! Other than athletic events this place hosts concerts and Lafayette's ice hockey team, the Ice Gators....

This is an exceptional facility, especially for a town of this size. It is great for tons of events such as concerts, wrestling, basketball, football, and Louisiana IceGators hockey! It is clean, well maintained, and something is always going on.

Perfect place to host exhibits and shows! Plenty of parking.
