Absolutely the Best SCONES in Houston and maybe the world 🔥 JAQEY J @ HOUSTON RESTAURANTS THAT DONT SUCK! Facebook foodie group… Previous member of Heights Foodies. I have come to fantasize about the Blueberry scone . I allow myself to one a month (I’m a Gym Rat) Joes coffee Heights, Catalina Washington 🥰 Roast and Brew Heights has the scones . Roast and Catalina will tell you who they buy from , Joe says they are locally sourced 🤨. Boo on them !

I came across Cake & Bacon at the Fulshear Farmer’s market and decided to buy a loaf of their sourdough bread. Wow. Quite possibly the best sourdough I’ve ever tasted. Not even kidding. Toast it, butter it and add a small sprinkle of salt to bring out the yeasty goodness and you’re in heaven. I would recommend keeping it in your refrigerator so it lasts longer. If it goes stale before you’re done with it, guess what? Pain perdu! (French Toast, it literally translates to ‘forgotten bread’). What if it gets so stale that French toast isn’t an option? Cut it up and drizzle with butter and herbs and bake them to make croutons, or blend them up for a bread crumb for fried shrimp? Enough about how to use stale bread, just swing by the Fulshear Farmer’s Market on any Saturday morning and pick up a log (or two along with any other delicious baked treats that might catch your eye!) Love the people, love the product and couldn’t be happier I found them! Thank you! 🍞 ♥️ 🌅

Yummy, yummy to my tummy! I got some of the Cranberry Walnut loaf and it is SOoooooo delicious! Seriously, one of the best dessert breads I've ever eaten. I went to the East End Farmer's Market and was so touched by the sweet ladies at the booth. On a personal note, my mother recently passed and I got choked up when I saw a sourdough bread she would have loved. I wish I got their names, but I will never forget their thoughtfulness when they insisted on giving that loaf of sourdough to offer their condolences. I never write reviews, but I had to share my thoughts after this act of kindness and the fact both breads were amazing! Thank you ladies!

I bought some cheddar jalapeño bread from here while they were at the Farmers Market on 99 and it was amazing!! Very affordable and we had multiple servings. Will have to get more next time.

The baked items are above average when you are comparing Houston bakeries. However these have got to be the most rude pompous people I’ve ever dealt with. Service is an absolute zero. Need some management and courtesy crash courses.
