Stodgy cheesecake. Tasty crust (!) but grainy whipped cream. Is the large amount of whipped cream to cover the divot in the middle of each $17 cake? Our strawberry was rotten. Deli case was kinda rough looking. Sorry.

Stoped by this gem after dinner at Yard House. I’ve been to this area many times and never knew Cakes By Jeff The Chef existed. Glad I found it. The cheesecake was delicious. I will definitely be back and recommend you check them out if you’re looking for a perfect size dessert.

We had a great experience here for dessert. The cheesecakes are make very carefully and each one feels gourmet for a very reasonable price. Jeff, the shop, owner was very personable, enthusiastic, and proud of his cheesecakes. You should be Jeff, this place is great. Definitely worth a stop in

When I tell you this pistachio cheesecake is what it is and the flavor is satisfying, Omg! I’m trying to only eat half but I couldn’t contain it. Jeff you made it!! Please excuse the pictures, I tried to maintain composure but big back is here. Omg! I usually go to cheesecake factory but OMG! Jeff, keep doing what you do please! Can’t wait for the winter cheesecake editions.

I love these cheesecakes, they have a unique flavors and are very creamy without being super sweet. The staff is super friendly and caring for your their customers, my mom has a peanut allergy and before I even asked about there being nuts in the cheesecakes I was told that just the pistachio one had nuts. I highly recommend.

I traveled from Lebanon Oregon to San Diego California just to try Jeff the chef cheesecake and he did not disappoint! I had a blueberry cheesecake and it was so creamy and full of flavor. The crust was perfect and it was definitely worth its $$$! Also the staff was so kind as I am not from San Diego and had no clue where the shop was. The GPS took me to a parking garage but the store was not in the garage lol. The sweet girl in charge of the shop went above and beyond to help me locate the shop from where I was and then she was so kind when I actually made it into the shop! All around worth every mile and $$$ to get a taste of the creamy goodness!

These were by far the best cheesecakes I have ever tasted! It was not what I expected because cheesecakes are normally thick and super rich but some how this man captured the flavor of cheesecake and it is light and delicate! Great summertime dessert 🍮
