As someone who was planning an out-of-state wedding, I heavily relied on reviews and hoped for the best. Hanna absolutely delivered. I had the most perfect cake of my dreams, and it tasted AMAZING! It was so good, we brought it home the next day and had it for lunch and early dinner. Delivery was seamless and gave instructions to the venue on when to take it out of the fridge for cutting the cake. Could not recommend her more!

Cakes by Klein supplied our wedding cake and cupcakes, and my wife and I could not be happier with how everything turned out. The presentation, communication, delivery—not to mention the incredible flavor of the cakes—were everything we could have wished for. Our guest would not stop raving about the cakes/cupcakes. Hanna made a fun cake for my husbands 40th. He's a big Knicks fan and I had this cake idea in mind, but hadn't imagined it looking this amazing! Hanna was very easy and pleasant to work with - communication was professional and straighforward. She's a master of her craft - the cake was not only perfect, but it was super yummy too! We stopped in here on a whim, I was pleasantly surprised to see they had samples and small cake portions for takeaway. They also have coffee. We sampled the pistachio chocolate and it was delicious. We decided on the birthday cake with buttercream icing, wow it exceeded my expectations! We brought the cake back with us to Philadelphia and it traveled well! If I lived in NY I would definitely order my next cake from here!

Not only was this cake stunning to look at, it tasted unbelievable. The best I’ve ever had. I’m not exaggerating. Hanna delivered everything I asked for and beyond. She made my sister’s birthday so special.

While on an adventure in the East Village over the weekend, my husband and I stopped here for a little sweet treat. I wasn't sure what to expect as I had never been here before. I was happy to start speaking to the owner, who was incredibly friendly, and explained to us how she goes about making her desserts. We got the Arnold Palmer Cake in a mini size. It was a delicious sponge cake, infused with black tea, and topped with a frosting that was just sweet enough, without being overpowering. I would absolutely recommend this small business to anybody in the neighborhood, looking to fulfill a craving for something sweet!

After having a wonderful Omakase dinner at Kyuubi, we passed by Cakes by Klein. Their little mini cakes look so cute and tastes even better We had a Twixt mini cake and a Snicker's mini cake. Peter and Hannah gave us mini sporks to eat it right out of the container. The cakes barely made it home. Simply scrumptious!

Yall the cakes are DELICIOUS I got 2 midi cakes on my way to a birthday Got the eggnog and gingerbread cakes. No notes, everyone absolutely loved the cakes and I wished I got even more. The birthday girl was enamored. The size I got was priced at $9 each which I think is very reasonable. We had 7 people eating 2 cakes and the portions were perfect. The service was very friendly and they let me try every flavor they had at the moment (they were all amazing). Hope they stay around here. Very very good local cake shop.

Hanna does it again!!! Hanna took my messy idea and worked with me to create the most delish and impressive birthday gift! The cake quickly became the star of the show!

We feel so lucky to have found Hanna! We were looking for a custom cake for our sons 1st birthday party; I had my heart set on a Victoria sponge (which I'd been finding impossible to find) and wanted it to fit with his David Bowie party theme. Not only did Hanna create a cake that was visually spectacular and the star of the party but it also was incredibly delicious. Working with her was so seamless we gave her an idea of what we were looking for and she mocked up ideas for us to choose from. The result was something that was above and beyond what we could have hoped for!

I have had the pleasure of working with Hanna multiple times and her cakes have been nothing short of fantastic. Her creativity is unmatched; her cakes are a perfect balance of beauty & delicious.

When we wanted a really special cake for my mom's 60th birthday we knew that Hanna's incredible artistic ability would be best to create the perfect miniature version of her most cherished handbag. Not only did Hanna recreate the bag perfectly, sight unseen, from some grainy photos I found in my phone, but she even hit the color spot on. Hanna is super responsive to communication and was great at helping guide me to pick the final flavor combo. She ended up making a custom flavor for us to honor my mom's favorite dessert, the cannoli. The cake was delicious and perfectly balanced between frosting, chocolate chips, cannoli cream and moist (why is that word so hard to say out loud, lol) vanilla cake. Thanks again Hanna for making the day just that touch extra special.

Hannah's cakes are incredible!!! Not only are they beautiful works of art, but they are also delicious! I dream of her cake and try to find as many excuses as possible to order. From my wedding cake to baby gender reveal cake, she has made some of the most meaningful moments in my life that much better (sweeter)! She is fantastic to work with and can take your dream/inspiration and make it into edible art. I even had her creates a giant bottle of body wash one time, and it was perfection. She can do it all!

This was actually my second time ordering from her - she also created a delicious, adorable cake for my friend's baby shower. Hanna and I worked together to plan the flavor profile and she sketched out everything ahead of time so I knew exactly what I would be getting. I couldn't recommend her more!

Hanna made the most amazing candy filled rainbow unicorn kitty cake for my daughter's 6th birthday!! She walked me through a ton of options until we landed on the perfect design and her execution was flawless - not to mention how moist and delicious it was. Hanna made the most delicious ooey gooey butter cake for my birthday - it was probably the best cake I have ever tasted...buttery, moist, sweet and rich. To top it off, the cat shape was adorable and matched my outfit Thank you to Hanna for making my birthday so special!!

Cakes by Klein made me the perfect birthday cake this past weekend!! I found Hanna through a friend's Instagram and spoke with her over email to talk about the cake's flavors, size and design. She was super responsive and very easy to get along with - I am pretty indecisive so I gave her a list of my favorite flavors and some things that I love but I left the rest up to her imagination. Little did I know that her imagination would create the most perfect cake for me - I am obsessed with corgis (who isn't???) so she made me the cutest corgi butt cake, made of mocha cake and espresso buttercream frosting. The cake was incredibly flavorful and delicious and, best of all, super memorable! She also delivered it in perfect condition and exactly in the time range I had requested. Will definitely be using her for all my future cake needs and would recommend her to anyone looking for the perfect cake for a special occasion!!!
