its a nice place to study and catch up on work however its currently final season and its really hard to study or concentrate when theirs people talking and laughing loud. I had no choice but to move because these two people were eating, talking loud, and laughing. I moved to a cubicle and can still hear them mind you this is the 3rd floor I wouldn't care or be bothered if this was happening on the first floor because you are allowed to talk and be a bit loud.

•A bit smelly, but nicely space desk. •Two annoying things, foos that can't read the "silent" signs posted around. And the lack of outlets.

Librarians and stuff are really great, environment is clean, access to books are good, but needed more computer for students! Sometimes, you have to wait about an hour or two to get a spot where may be taken by a friend of user which causes more waiting time(specially after midterm all through final) There is an Exhibition right now there: I Am Psyched Tour, which is related to psychologists of color, and more!

Not so quiet, but still a nice place to study. Helpful workers.

Great place to study, especially if you go to the second level and above. Quiet space with minimal distractions.

I’m a grad student here. It’s too loud (I’m listening to a guy talk at normal voice on his phone right now) and it’s not in good shape (needs paint, has dirty floors, ripped chairs). Librarians don’t seem to walk around to enforce any quiet spaces. Desks are often dirty (trash, crumbs). It’s undergoing a renovation so it looks even more sad (books missing from shelves). Maybe it will improve.

This place will provide you the quiet you need not always but more often than not. It's scary cause there's not a lot of people during 11pm onwards especially going home. They open till 2 am during the finals which is great for people who need the extra time.

My nephew was accepted to the school and asked one of the three staff members at the front desk for a tour of the library yesterday. A guy with a hat replied, “No, we’re short staffed.” And that was it. He then sat back at his laptop. It was pretty rude. Also, the library was closing in an hour and was basically empty. It didn’t look like they were doing much. Very unpleasant experience. One of many reasons why my nephew will not be attending the school.

The library has it's cool spots to chill and study on your own or with your group. The first floor offers plenty of computers, three xerox machines, and a couple printers to print your work. In order to use the xerox or printer you must add funds to your school iD and swipe away. They also have a coffee spot where you can grab some drinks & pastries as well. Need some where to lounge, then you are in the right place to do your stuff!

Great library. There are so many places you can choose to pick and just chill and study. If you do want to study however, I do not recommend the first floor, as it can get noisy. Overall, decent library.

Overall this library is pretty decent. It is a good size, staff is pretty friendly, and it is usually kept pretty tidy. I've had a library worker walk me to the 2nd floor and assist me in finding a specific book I was looking for. She was very courteous and professional. The downfall to this library is it's lack of modernization. The library is pretty outdated and already shows it's age through it's architecture, old books, and old furnishings. I recently visited the cal state Dominguez hills library and that one is super nice and modernized. Csula needs to do some catching up. The computer lab is located in the first floor in what I consider and very sloppy area. It is right next to the main help desk, and has the check out section on the other side of it. So there is always a constant flow of people and noise near and around the computer space. They need to have more exclusion for the computers!

Gorgeous library. There's everything you could possibly want. Need to finish up on a quick assignment? There's a few computers on the 1st floor. Need to talk and study? There's some tables on the 2nd floor.

The library here is a great place to study. For the most part, its quiet. Tends to have plenty of desks/chairs; you just have to look for them.

It's nice... well, sort of. Overall it's an ok library with lots of books, desks, and computers. I mean, I really want to like it more, but it's just too loud in some areas of the library. I make due with headphones and my laptop. I give the CSULA Library an extra star because of the filtered water that is offered by the entrance. Plus, there are other amenities if you know where to look. Vending machines are located near the entrance as well. There is definitely a strong feeling of nostalgia for me. After all, this is the very place that my own parents met 30+ years ago.
