"As soon as this well-known bakery in Spain expanded to Miami and moved into the old Allen’s Drug space (R.I.P. to that iconic sign), we were ready to love their pastries. And, after eating many of their ensaimadas, we do. Their famous Mallorcan treats are fluffy, filled with rich cream, and topped with powdered sugar. But the Miami location’s expanded menu, which includes smashburgers, paellas, and a Cuban sandwich, generally overreaches and under-delivers. The burger is greasier than a truck axle, and the Cuban sandwich on country bread is such a far cry from a Cubano, it could be from New Zealand. Stick to the items that are baked or prepared ahead of time, like the refreshing gazpacho with jamon iberico, tortilla Española, a gooey Basque cheesecake, and those incredible ensaimadas." - Virginia Otazo

I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was this time! I’ve been here before, but it’s never been this delicious. The flavors were outstanding, and every dish was perfectly prepared. The service was excellent—attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The atmosphere was also very enjoyable, with a clean and beautifully maintained space that made the experience even better. It’s clear they’ve stepped up their game, and I’ll definitely be coming back soon!

This place is delicious, have been here 3 times and really enjoy their delicious food. They also have a fantastic selection of wine , olive oil and superb pastries. We returned this week for a lovely evening that they hosted with wines from Emilio Moro winery. It was sublime! Here some pictures from previous visits.

Amazing Cuban sandwich (Spain style), with a great paella - lobster and a la Valenciana. The service was top notch and the cleanliness is not to be overlooked.

I went to try this restaurant after seen an instagram review. First of I wish I could rate food separate because the cob croquetas were delicious but thats it. My mom is spaniard and I grew up eating homemade paellas, croquetas, and more. So I was very excited to try this place. It was very disappointing, the little paella or rice with “seafood” was not bad but horrible. The rice taste like you had mixed it with tomato paste. I didn't care to eat it. I went a Sunday night maybe the chef is different I dont really understand the good reviews. The service was good and the atmosphere too. Also, it is very european in the sense that it is slow paced. I got to the restaurant at 6:30pm and my main dish was served at 8 pm.

Wow, this place is absolutely amazing! My friends and I decided to try their breakfast one day, and let me tell you, we were beyond thrilled with the delicious food and the cozy atmosphere. It was such a wonderful experience that we couldn't resist bringing our grandson here for a special birthday dinner. And oh boy, if you ever get the chance to try their tomahawk steak, believe me, it's an unforgettable culinary adventure! The food, the people, and the service were all top-notch, deserving a perfect 10 stars! We truly appreciate everything. Thank you so much!!

12/14/2024 I acknowledge that this place now holds the title for the best representation of Spanish cuisine in Miami, offering carefully selected and prepared products that deliver an exceptional dining experience. Food: The octopus dish was well-presented, though the portion was somewhat small. The steak tartare lacked flavor, but the creamy rice was spot-on in both taste and texture—a highlight of the meal. Service: The professionalism of the staff is evident, reflecting their experience and dedication to excellence. Ambience: A packed house with a waiting list speaks volumes about the combination of quality, service, and overall dining experience. Conclusion: Congratulations to the entire team for creating a Miami establishment worthy of a remarkable culinary journey. 07/21/2024 Visited on the indicated date, and despite the restaurant being full and arriving without a reservation, the host managed to accommodate us, for which I am very grateful. Food: We entrusted the menu to the house, only specifying that we wanted a paella as the main course. The rest of the starters were magnificent—well presented, with the right flavor and temperature, and of exceptional quality. Service: Always attentive to the table, never leaving empty plates or glasses, and providing very professional service, knowing when to act to avoid interrupting a conversation or catching someone mid-bite. Ambiance: The music was in perfect harmony with the volume of people, allowing for conversations in a pleasant environment without raising voices. There was fantastic coordination among the service staff, managing the flow of customers seamlessly. Conclusion: I consider this place a reference point for enjoying a variety of dishes that make a meal or dinner an experience worth returning for. 06/27/2024 After some time since my last visit, I tried this restaurant again. Following the closure of Lekus, it remains one of the references for Spanish cuisine. In my review, I reflect my feelings, and the passage of time sometimes does not help with improvement. Food: I would highlight the salmon with various nuances, the confit artichoke, and the croquettes. Service: There is a need for greater attention to the tables—empty plates and bottles are not removed, water glasses are left unfilled, cooking times for fish are not inquired about, among other aspects. Ambiance: The music level and cleanliness are perceived as correct from the entrance, and the decor recreates a Parisian café. When visiting an establishment of this type, one always expects the best. 08/18/2023 Miami Spice is a great opportunity to taste and enjoy the Calamillor's amazing way to cook. I had a great experience in a reasonable price menu with 3 different dishes with an essential flavor of Spaniard food. The artichoke with Spanish ham and the Fideua (paella using pasta instead of rise) brings to your mouth the best test of Spain. Service was perfect, and the wine most recommend double-check the price list. Congratulations, and this is one of my best recommendations in MIami.

Aside from the delicious food, the service was impeccable. This is a stellar establishment most definitely worth coming to. Everything we ordered was extraordinary, flavorful, and I will definitely be coming back. The French toast desert practically melts in your mouth, the smash burger is of top quality. You cannot go wrong with anything you order here. At a moments notice the waiters are at your service. Their attention to detail is unmatched, the food comes out fast with great presentation and your drink is never empty. I have absolutely zero complaints from my visit and can't wait to come back!
