CalaMillor - Review - Bird Road - Miami - The Infatuation

"As soon as this well-known bakery in Spain expanded to Miami and moved into the old Allen’s Drug space (R.I.P. to that iconic sign), we were ready to love their pastries. And, after eating many of their ensaimadas, we do. Their famous Mallorcan treats are fluffy, filled with rich cream, and topped with powdered sugar. But the Miami location’s expanded menu, which includes smashburgers, paellas, and a Cuban sandwich, generally overreaches and under-delivers. The burger is greasier than a truck axle, and the Cuban sandwich on country bread is such a far cry from a Cubano, it could be from New Zealand. Stick to the items that are baked or prepared ahead of time, like the refreshing gazpacho with jamon iberico, tortilla Española, a gooey Basque cheesecake, and those incredible ensaimadas." - Virginia Otazo

Google
What an excellent experience! I can’t express enough how much I loved celebrating our office party at CalaMillor! The service was outstanding — we truly had the best servers in Miami. The food was amazing! For me, the fideuà is the best dish ever, even better than the paella. The Basque cheesecake is dreamy, and the huevos rotos are to die for. Highly recommend!

I went to this place for lunch and it was such a great pick. They offer a lunch menu with a few options that looked amazing. My friend and I ended up ordering from the regular menu and enjoyed a glass of wine as well. The food was fresh and incredibly flavorful, the wine was delicious and satisfying, and the dessert was absolutely perfect. The atmosphere is bright and open, with plenty of natural light. Most of the servers are from Spain, which makes you feel as if you’ve stepped into a little spot along the Spanish coast. A really lovely experience overall.

Today we enjoyed the best Roscón de Reyes in all of Miami, and of course, it had to be from CalaMillor Gourmet Experience. My family and I were absolutely delighted by its flavor and quality. Even though I got the Haba, I would gladly drive the 52 minutes again just to buy another one! From the moment you walk into CalaMillor, the service is exceptional, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home.

Hidden gem in the heart of Coral Gables 🫶🏼 First visit was October 2025 celebrating 2 birthday girls and had to come back November 2025 for another birthday celebration. This time around we had Juanmi as our waiter and it reminded me so much of the restaurants in Spain. Definitely if you’re going to dine in ask for Juanmi to be your server; he would make you feel right at home! Want to visit Spain and don’t have an itinerary. Ask him he will tell you the best spots fully detailed 🫶🏼 I’ve tried a lot of items of their menu from their variety of croquetas, to their pan con tomate, to their seasonal setas with mashed potatoes and egg yolk to the patatas bravas to burgers and paellas but their Basque Cheesecake is a must have to end your meal! MUST HAVE! LOVE their huge variety of wine selection and vintages. Make sure upon planning to dine in to make a reservation through Open Table because lunch gets a little too crazy! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Google
CalaMillor is a great find. We enjoyed the Executive Menu for lunch, along with a glass of Tempranillo. Freshly prepared delicious food, friendly and welcoming staff. The servers were very attentive… even the Bossa Nova background music was perfect in this beautifully decorated place. We’ll be back and will recommend to our friends.

Google
Carlos was our server and was very professional and sweet offered many different options for us to have. The food and atmosphere was spectacular highly recommended. Will be back for sure. The coffee was also not only beautiful but delicious. 😋

Google
The best Spanish Restaurant outside of Spain! The place is beautifully decorated. The staff is extremely attentive and pleasant. And the food??? OMG We drove from Orlando for it! And we were blown away! First, I had the fantastic gin Nordes and my husband the red vermouth. Then we started our pallet feast with the croquetas. 5 jotas ham and squid ink prepared to perfection! Crispy on the outside and creamy in the inside. The squid Ink was mind blowing! Then we ordered the Fideuá de Carrillera and the Pulpo with Canary sauce. The Fideuá was the winner! The portions are very generous so we had to ask for boxes. Then to finish it all we ordered coffee. I chose my favorite: café bom bom and my husband had the spresso. We cannot wait to go back! Jacqueline was our server and provided THE BEST SERVICE one could ask for! Thank you Jacqueline! And congratulations to the owners!

Google
We had an amazing experience at Callamillor in Coral Gables — the food, ambiance, and service were all exceptional. Our server Carlos was outstanding — very knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely friendly, which made the entire Afternoon even better. We started with a glass of Albariño, followed by Croquetas de Jamón Ibérico, and the Tabla Degustación de Jamón Ibérico 5 Jotas with Manchego cheese and Pan Tomaca — all beautifully presented and full of authentic Spanish flavor. We also tried the Boquerones al Vermouth and Gambas al Ajillo, both fresh and delicious. For our main dishes, we shared the Fideuá de Carrillera Ibérica y Setas, Arroz Meloso de Gamba y Calamar, and Arroz Meloso de Setas y Queso Manchego — each one rich, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. We ended the meal with the Crema Catalana and Torta Basque, both the perfect sweet finish to an incredible lunch . Callamillor is truly a gem — authentic Spanish cuisine, excellent service, and a warm atmosphere. Highly recommend it for anyone who loves great food and an experience! 🇪🇸✨

Yelp
If you're Old school Miami, you'll remember the corner of Bird Road and 57th Avenue as Allen's Drugs, a retro pharmacy with a lunch counter. It's been modernized to a glass, storefront and brightly lit Spanish restaurant from where you can also buy wine and pastries for your own party. I stopped recently for some tapas, and I have to say it was a very good experience, a very yummy dinner. Although they have a full entrée menu, I just went for tapas. My starter was their Huevos Estrellados; always a favorite! Unlike chain Spanish restaurants, here it starts with a base of real thinly sliced potatoes. I asked for both chorizo and Cinco Jotas ham, and had it topped with a sunny side up egg. My other favorite was their Angus beef stuffed piquillo peppers, with a yummy and mildly sauce. My basque cheesecake - nice and moist inside - made for a sweet closing. Portions were big enough that I had leftovers for lunch. Service was pleasant and timely. They were attentive to detail enough that although normally their six croqueta order includes two cod, two chorizo & two jam, they switched mine to make it three chorizo and three jam. I would definitely come back!

Yelp
If you take anything from this review, it's try their Smash Burger. Top tier. Competes with some of the best I've ever had, including Apocalypse BBQ, Vice Versa, and Cowie Burger. The patties are smashed with crisp, lacy edges. Cheese is melted flawlessly, helped by a creamy sauce that gives everything this extra rich finish. You also get a subtle sweet-onion note. We've also tried the octopus and the cachopo. They were solid, but the burger is the clear winner here. No free parking, but the burgers worth it!!

Yelp
Very sano spanish joint with everything you would expect..octopus, tapas, tortilla de patatas, great wine. Breakfast is the best here. Best service, very clean place. Bathrooms too !

Yelp
Stumbled on to this gem of a restaurant after a visit to Quest Diagnostics across the street on Bird Road. Very classy Spanish establishment with excellent pastries, wine and food. I'm sitting next to the pastry case and cannot take my eyes off of the Black Forest and Guava Cheese croissant--all baked on premise. I was here for breakfast and found the dish with scrambled eggs, toast, potatoes and smoked salmon at $21 to be not only tasty but a good value. Quality ingredients throughout. They even serve the highest quality of Spanish jamon on the market--Cinco Jotas. I will definitely be adding Cala Millor to my rotation and plan on coming back for lunch, happy hour and/or dinner.

Yelp
Don't walk, run to this hidden gem. I LOVE this place and I am a regular. Everything here is fresh and delicious. Customer service is excellent and they are attentive. Their paella says for 2 people, but it is such a large portion, 4-5 people can easily share this if they eat one plate each! It's really tasty and well made. The appetizers I've had were croquetas and prosciutto ibérico. Both delicious! Croquetas are crispy inside and soft mix inside - my favorite flavor is the jamon (ham). The cod flavor one is a close second! The prosciutto ibérico was delicious as well and shareable. My brother in law had a cheeseburger and it looked well constructed. He said it was an excellent entree choice, juicy and delicious! I gotta try this another time! My mother in law had breakfast entree with eggs and bacon. She loved it! My husband and I stop here for coffee all the time. I get lattes and he gets espresso. We loveeeee the coffee here. My lattes taste so smoooth, love it! Dessert - pistachio ice cream is really good. But the star of the show is the BASQUE CHEESECAKE!!! it is my absolute favorite dessert I keep coming back to eat. I've purchased a whole basque cheesecake to bring over to a family gathering and it was a HIT! Everyone loved it and finished the whole thing. In conclusion, the vibe, atmosphere, customer service, decor and food here is SPECTACULAR!!! 10/10!!!

Yelp
Had breakfast at CalaMillor on a recent Friday morning. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We were seated quickly. The restaurant was very clean, bright and airy. Parking was a bit of a walk but not terrible. The baked goods looked amazing but we didn't try any. We had the ham croquettes, patatas brava, eggs with Serrano ham and the iberico tomato toast. We also ordered an espresso and cappuccino. Everything was pretty good, but not great. The coffees however were outstanding! So good that we had to ask what coffee brand they used. Not sure we'd return for the food but we would definitely return for the coffee. I honestly think Bulla is far superior to CalaMillor. The food is better and the prices are as well.

Yelp
Went for dinner and had an excellent experience. Our server was phenomenal and the food delicious. A great spanish wine selection. I wish parking was easier.

Yelp
Came here for a late breakfast and was starving. Menu is definitely interesting One minute I'm looking at breakfast options like croissants to grillled octopus and table served paella. We saw some friends and were invited to join the table. This was great cause the place was packed and had a wait, good sign. We started with the fish croquetta's with cafe con leche. Perfect amount of salt and not greasy. The plain croissant was huge and crispy. I opted for something completely different t for myself and went with the tuna sandwich that came with a wild salad. It was delish. The tuna had the right amount of may and veggies along with the toasted perfectly thick bread and the salad was the perfect compliment. Around the table there was chorizo croquetta's, Nutella croissants, a.d this egg and chorizo dish that my dad devoured. So yeah, brunch was great. Stop by and check it out.

Yelp
So overall, not bad. Great service. Cheese and jamon platter not worth it, just some manchego pieces with assorted salami and jamon. The burger tho, worth it, definitely get that. Don't really need a reservation, this place doesn't get filled as much.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my lunch at this Spanish restaurant & bakery with a group of 5. What's really great about this space is all the windows surrounding the table on the really busy corner of Bird and Red. There's ample street parking on the side streets. The food is very creative Spanish cuisine. I think the best thing is to come in a group and get a bunch of dishes to try. The croquettes are a must, especially the cod croquettes. They're so soft and melt in your mouth, with a crispy outer crust. I included pictures of a few dishes. Some of the food was under seasoned, so you might want to ensure that you have a salt and pepper shaker on the table before the food arrives to easily adjust to taste. They had a great Prix Fixe option that gave you the choice of appetizer, main, and dessert, as well as coffee or tea options. It was $35 on 01/07/25. The steak option added $5 to that.

Yelp
I love it sooo good legit spanish food Coming back always service super amazing I come when am by my moms house Ambiance goood

Yelp
Came here for a special occasion and I should have done a bit more research. People online rave about the Smash Burger here and I thought it was pretty good - not great. The bun was soft and fresh, however the overall burger was just too rich & decadent for my flavor palette. We ordered 6 croquettes , jamon and chorizo. The jamon ones were nothing special , chorizo were better. The food overall was just more greasy than I expected. The ambience was very nice, Cheers

Yelp
I've been meaning to come here for ages and finally made my way on a rainy Sunday morning. Just so you know ahead of time, the parking situation is a pain. Especially on a rainy day, only a few spots right in front and then you have to go around the corner and see what's available there. Once we got inside though, loved the decor and ambiance of the restaurant. They had lovely Christmas decor still up and a very cute market I forgot to hit up on the way out. Onto the menu, they have great pastries on display and then options for breakfast. I opted for a hot chocolate, the jamon Iberico and manchego sandwich and a Mallorca bread (the exact names escapes me but starts with an s). The sandwich was fantastic, buttery jamon and the tomato spread a great combination and a decent portion size. I've had this pastry before without any filling and it was good but the filling made it just a tiny bit too sweet for my taste. I would skip the hot chocolate next time. We also got pain au chocolat and a pistachio croissant to go. The service was fine, not bad but nothing worth noting. With so many options to choose from, would definitely come back and try some of their other options.

Yelp
A beautiful location with great service and good food. We had the smash burger, it was very tasty and came with fries. The butternut squash soup was delicious as was the avocado carpaccio. The traditional Spanish desserts are al displayed at the counter, it was so hard to chose one. We took a few home.
google avatar

Yelp
I've been here twice now and the food is amazing. The service is top notch and there are probably a dozen other things on the menu that I would like to try so I'll. E back! The inside section of the restaurant is clean and decorated very well. It can be a bit busy so best to reserve a table in advance. Outside section has large fans and beautiful flower beds so even eating outside isn't bad in the summer if you don't mind the heat.

Yelp
Delicious food and pastries. Friendly staff. Beautiful place. It feels homey. I have been coming here only for brunch since they opened and they made some changes lately. I should say some improvements. They added patio seating and rearranged the tables inside for better flow. The food is delicious and fresh. I enjoy the soup and croissants everytime. The pastries are just divine. A bit pricey but delicious stuff. They also have homemade turron in different flavors. I recommend getting the sampler option to try a few. Solid option for Spanish flair food. Looking forward to visit for dinner.

Yelp
It has been a while since a restaurant made me fall in love and CalaMillor did just that. We came to celebrate my uncle's 70th birthday. We were a party of 15 and let me start by saying that the service was amazing. Our waiter Julen took care of our table with such grace and attentiveness. It has been such a long time since I had such good service at a restaurant. Now the food--where to even start? Everything we ordered was delicious and left us wanting to order seconds; which we did. The pan con tomate was fresh and crisp. The croquetas were some of the best I've had. We ended up ordering three orders of them. The patatas bravas and huevo rotos were savory and hearty. I'm telling you this place knows what's it's doing. Loved it!

Yelp
The food is exquisite! The place is very nicely decorated and the market is filled with spanish delicacies. The wine list is extensive with many Spanish options including many award winning wines. Servir by Jacqueline was 10/10! She was very attentive, polite and made excellent suggestions! Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Cala Millor is such a nice place. Its a cozy caffe where you can enjoy coffee, pastries a casual lunch/dinner or even catch up w/ work. Their display of pastries is pretty epic, mostly mouthwatering.. i recently purchased a 'rosca de reyes', they have some filled with pastry cream, or chocolate cream, or plain. I went for chocolate & did not disappoint. What was different, was that they DO NOT add the little figure. They handed it to me so i could place it wherever i wanted. It's supposed to be a surprise? How un-fun to do it myself and know the placement.. I did bring it up and the staff explained, that not everyone knows the traditions and some people have damaged teeth bitting into the doll? Awful if it's happened to you, but maybe provide the rosca with a written notice of the doll? Just an idea for next year. I still enjoyed it, and would rather buy from Cala Millor, than from the Mexican bakeries (major price gauge)...
google avatar

Yelp
Great recently new establishment in the old spot for Allen's Drug corner that has been transformed into a clean, modern, artistically decorated Spanish Bakery and eatery with some good Spain wine options. Immediately upon entering your attention to the center of the building where all bakery and packaged charcuterie can be found. Many food options from simple(sandwich) to an authentic paella from the motherland. Reservations are recommended on the busier days of not be prepared to wait for a table. Prices vary depending on your item selection.

Yelp
For an excellent flare on a different kind of food style, CalaMillar is your answer. Eclectic. Modern. Friendly staff and a food and beverage menu to please anyone. Recommended by a colleague we descended upon CalaMillar to experience something different and we were not disappointed. Pages and pages of food, salad, drinks, and desserts to choose from, don't even get me started on dessert. (Yes we did both get a chocolate croissant to go and it was outstanding.) Back to the food. ironically, we both chose the fusion burger special as our choice of entrée. One of the things about a good burger is just how messy it is. Put this one up there. You get two Angus beef patties, Iberian pulled pork, American cheese, yuzu sauce, homemade pickles, and caramelized onion. If the onions are cooked, I'm good to go, but I must say this was a very unique tasting burger. Unlike one I've ever had. But it was really juicy and enjoyable. Apparently this was brought to one of the national burger championship things. I didn't know such a thing existed. Check it out for a different flare on food.

Yelp
What a treat this restaurant is , we had the huevos rotos with chorizo and it was amazing, the croquettes of chorizo are also a must but the jamón ones lack flavor. It's very well appointed and a delight to dine the service is also up to par. All of the dishes that they have in their display cases look absolutely delicious. The ambiance is what you'd wish for in most restaurants but they fall short but not here.
google avatar

Andrea G.

Yelp
I ordered two desserts this time, and both were bursting with flavor and had the most amazing textures. The pastry chef here is truly an artist--what incredible baking talent! Every time I visit, I'm blown away by how consistently excellent everything is. Even the croissants are out of this world. Cala Millor never disappoints!
google avatar

Bea F.

Yelp
Went here for dinner and expected a bit more from the restaurant. I need to return to see how the brunch/lunch is. I thought the croquetas were ok, and the patatas bravas were nothing wow. We had a few shareables and dinners for ourselves. - croquetas - patatas bravas - smash burger (was great) - arroz Millor - gambas al ajillo ( amazing so soft and juicy/ flavorful ) Place was beautiful and loved the decor, employees were very welcoming and helpful ! Will be returning soon to review again !
google avatar

Yelp
Great cafe with a very wide selection of sweets and coffee. Service is good. The decor is very nice and modern. They also sell take home products and wine. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. It is a bit pricey and parking is metered parking.
google avatar

Yohanis C.

Yelp
Excellent service, very nice servers, delicious blend of flavors! We had some deserts, avocado toast, and ibérico sandwich. Everything was impeccable. The natural orange juice was great. Our cafe con leche was one of the best I've ever tried. Thank you so much!
google avatar

Jennifer C.

Yelp
Unexpectedly great food. Tucked away in a part of town without many restaurants. We came for Miami Spice and loved the wagyu paella - first time I've ever seen paella that wasn't seafood. Service wasn't very quick or attentive, so deducting a star for that, but it was standard. Valet behind the building for $8.
google avatar

Elisa S.

Yelp
You think miami spice is a deal? Not here! 30% service charge (horrible service) and 3% charge for using a credit card? Who do they cater to? Who brings loads of cash? So sorry .. definitely not a place to come back...

Yelp
Just visited for an early breakfast with my niece and my daughter and I'm happy to report that this place is still rocking their vibe as well as maintaining quality in their food and service. We visited at about 10:00am on a Saturday morning and were promptly seated at an inside table, I was so impressed with their service. When we were brought our water, the server noticed the table was a little off balance we didn't even have to say a word he was promptly back fixing it seamlessly, we were then greeted by Julen our server who was quick to offer suggestions which we appreciated, he took our order and the food not only arrived quickly but was great! Not one of us in our group had any complaints. So happy to have this establishment nearby, you won't be disappointed to visit for Breakfast, lunch or just some wine and tapas with friends, or perhaps you are more the dessert and coffee with friends type they got you covered too! And don't forget to visit their market section where you can take some of their goodies to enjoy at home.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing Cuban sandwich (Spain style), with a great paella - lobster and a la Valenciana. The service was top notch and the cleanliness is not to be overlooked.
google avatar

Caridad L.

Yelp
The place is beautiful. Very eclectic all the chairs are different and so are the tables. The pastry presentation is eye popping. We started with an order of 6 croquettes, 2 of each ham, cod and chorizo. Once I bit into the ham croquette the bechamel sauce oozed out. Not your typical Spanish croquette. More bechamel sauce than ham. The cod and chorizo were good. We each order a latte and 4 sandwiches. 3 Cuban sandwiches and 1 ibérico ham. Cuban sandwich was on country bread. Which is not your typical Spanish or Cuban bread. The inside of the sandwich left to be desired. Small amount of pork, cheese and ham. For dessert we ordered the torta De Santiago which is not your typical torta. It was more of a cake. The taste was good. Also ordered the torrejas which where too sweet. Overall the food was ok. And be prepared to spend big bucks. $$$$ all of this was $200 for 4 people.

LA P.

Yelp
Calamillor is a Spanish pastry & brunch destination. The Spanish version of a croque madame is excellent. The coffee, service, and Spanish croquetas are amazing. Everything is fresh and made from scratch (scratch kitchen).

Yelp
When my wife said after church to try a new place down by the Gables I said why not. When we arrived parking was a bit of a mission and with the weather a little wet we were able to get inside to find that because we didn't have any reservations we would have to wait 30 to 40 minutes. As we were leaving we decided to stay and thank the Lord they had a table for us. Now this is a very open place where the Rexall diner used to be but it was transformed. We order some croquettes and they were fantastic. Then we went for some tried and true items that we knew would make or break this place. Well all the food was on point and the desserts were fantastic. We will be returning for dinner to check the ambience as it relates to a dinner experience but the lunch was great. In the area of Bird and Red Road stop by and try some authentic Spanish food with a very modern take. Two thumbs up on this one.

Yelp
Started Miami Spice with a bang. Stumbled across this restaurant on the GMCVB website. Ordered huevos rotos and patatas bravas to start, it was perfect. I really liked the way the potatoes were cut and the ham and sauce was delicious. We followed with the seafood rice and the truffle mushroom risotto. Excellent texture and flavor 5 stars I wish I could of had more. We both asked for the basque cheesecake as the dessert. Different from other places but so yummy. I have no complaints everything was made to the highest quality and I really liked the customer service. We will definitely come back again their dessert section!!! Thank you

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant at a great location. Servers are beyond attentive, paying attention to every detail and exceptionally knowledgeable of menu items. Food is fresh and flavorful. Loved the pan tomaca, delicious croquetas and the paella met my expectations. The sangria was perfection!

Yelp
Attention excellent. Valeria was present and extremely attentive and knowledgeable. Will be back

Yelp
I really enjoyed CalaMillor! The atmosphere of the restaurant is very welcoming. Makes you feel like you transported out of Miami. The menu is pretty extensive with delicious options! Due to my shellfish allergy, I was unable to try yummy plates such as croquetas because they are fried in the same oil, I am assuming. I ordered the Iberico & Manchego croissant. It was so delicious and the perfect size as I was not that hungry. The croissant was flaky & fresh. I also have to say the coffee was sooo good. Smooth and rich; I ended up ordering 2! I do wish the service was a bit more personal. I sometimes had trouble finding our waiter but overall they were great. I loved CalaMillor and would like to visit again to dry a different plate (and have another coffee!).
google avatar

Yasemin S.

Yelp
We had heard really good things about CalaMillor, but I was not expecting to enjoy it as much as I did. We had made reservations prior and so our table was ready when we arrived. The ambiance is so elegant, yet comforting. The service we received was also outstanding. Our server was so attentive, checking in continuously to make sure everything was good. Now to the really good part... the food. We tried the croquetas, patatas bravas, calamares a la andaluza, paella a banda de mariscos, salmon con mojo verde, bacalao al estillo del chef, the New York steak, smash burger, and for dessert the tarta de queso estillo vasco and my personal favorite, the torrija caramelizada con helado de vainila. The food was absolutely delicious and so full of flavor... they also had a bakery section which we didn't get a chance to check out, but will definitely be back to checkout the next time we're there.

Yelp
A lovely place with a bustling atmosphere. I purchased some ensaimadas after finding out they sell them!!! I'm so excited! Definitely need to go back for a long breakfast or lunch. Thank you!

Yelp
This is spot is a gem. The service is amazing and the design/ambiance inside is stunning. The food is authentically Spanish, fresh and upscale. Some of my favorites include the pulpo in salsa and the croquetas are to die for. Amazing spot for brunch and the pastries are delectable. Highly recommend.

Yelp
This was a very pleasant surprise. Tried this place without any recommendations.... And wow; it was extremely good. The food was amazing; the appetizers were great - the octopus was very good; haven't had one like that in a long time. Every dish was definitely well put together. Service was pretty good as well; and we didn't feel rushed....and that was appreciated. Pictures of the place doesn't do it justice; it has a unique European/American feel to it - and finally a restaurant where the tables are not cramped next to each other.... Replay enjoyed it; will definitely be coming back - their menu had a great selection of dishes and wines.

Yelp
Amazing Spanish food, great ambiance and outstanding service. Our waiter Mauricio was excellent. All his recommendations did not disappoint. This place is definitely a must try.

Falyn H.

Yelp
Meh. Was really excited to check this spot out. The decor is beautiful, the pastry presentation is eye catching, but the food is NOT traditional by any means. We ordered the ham croquettas and they were so gooey/watery on the inside. Definitely not what you get at your local ventanita. The toast with tomato was ok but not on Cuban bread. Be prepared for small portion but big bucks. For 4 MINI croquettas, the toast with evoo and minced tomato, and 2 mini pork belly buns we spent $50 and those are the items on the menu that were on the low end. Again, the ambiance and service were 5 stars, but unfortunately we won't be back due to the food costing wayyy too much money for the super small portions and not being that great anyways.

Yelp
I wanted to come twice before writing a proper review. I love Spanish cuisine and the decor at this new spot caught my eye. The first time I came at 3:30 for a late lunch but unfortunately they said the kitchen closed at 3 because it was their soft opening. I was a little disappointed the first time because I had called before and wasn't told about the kitchen closing early. My second visit I ate a tortilla, coffee, and had some dessert. My second visit replaced my first impression. The service was top notch and made the whole experience better. I would recommend their hot coffee over iced but overall the food is yummy. I'm also a sucker for sweets so I obviously had to try something. I recommend all their dessert. They're so pretty it makes you not want to eat them. Can't wait to come back and try their croquetas.

Yelp
Decided to try out a new spot and I'm so glad I did! CalaMillor was a delicious Spanish dining experience right where Allan's drug store used to be. It was impressive to see how beautiful the space was inside and it got me excited to see the food. When the appetizer tapas came I was NOT disappointed one bit!! It was all delicious! The pan con tomato was so fresh, the cuts of meat were a perfect size and were full of flavor! All this was paired with a white sangria that was refreshing from the first sip to the last. For dinner, unfortunately I lost the picture, but Please!! ORDER a pallea! It was so delicious and had the raspitas of the rice to prove that it was cooked by a knowledgeable chef. On top of the great food, our servers were all so attentive and made sure we were well taken care of with all needs. And I talked about this a bit before but this place is lovely on the inside. It had a great interior with some outdoor seating available as well. Its interior is less classy than that of a fully intimate dining experience but still perfect for a date night or night out. My one complaint is minor but the parking can be iffy because from what I saw it was by meters out front but that's the only place I looked/found parking. Lastly, it was slightly pricey, but what isn't at this point in Miami, come here and enjoy a great night and a great meal

Yelp
Came to have lunch with my mom on a Saturday at 1 pm, we walked in & were sat down right away which I was surprised because it was packed. Our waiter was great & everything was delicious! We ordered the Iberico ham croquetas to share & they were perfectly fried with a delicious meaty inside. I ordered the pan con tomate & I absolutely loved it, the slice of bread that it came on was so yummy and the ham was very high quality. My mom ordered the Brunch Salad & had a few bites. It was fresh, the toppings were a fantastic mix and I loved the light dressing it had. Our only complaint is that my mom asked for a piece of toast to have with her salad & we were brought a basket of bread that we were charged $6 for. Besides that it was a great meal (a little bit on the expensive side) but worth it in my opinion.

Yelp
Went for Miami spice. Walking in was super awkward and didn't get helped right away. The dinning room is cute and had a different vibe but I liked it. The steak was over cooked and under seasoned but the garlic shrimp were amazing.

Yelp
Wow - the food here is incredible! My dad and I came here to try something new and because the InKind app offered us $25 off a $75 order so we figured we should try CalaMillor out. We were so impressed that we are planning our next visit back. Here's what we got: 1) To start, we got the salad that was on the special's menu (forgot the name) and it was GOOD ... and so fresh! Made from cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions, olives, feta cheese, and sun dried tomatoes, it was the perfect combination of ingredients all mixed with a superb olive oil dressing. I immediately fell in love from the first bite and dad and I licked the plate clean. 2) Croquetas - we got all 3 (ham, chorizo, and cod). The best I've ever had hands down. They're made with Bechamel sauce so they were creamy and so full of flavor. A must get when you come here 3) For the entree, I got the Salmon and dad got the Chef style Cod. BOTH were phenomenal. The cod melted in your mouth and came with a side of veggies, complimenting and elevating the flavor of the fish. The salmon was tender and done perfectly, topped off with avocado and green mojo adding the slightly acidic flavor that brought out the taste of the fish. Service was great and our waiter friendly. They were very attentive to us, topping our water glasses as soon as they neared empty. What a wonderful experience here! Definitely coming back next for the breakfast.
