I finally was able to get my boyfriend to try out this place. We were both pleasantly surprised and went home full. He had a rum and coke and I had a Paloma cocktail. For starters we had the Guacamole and nachos.. delicious! He ordered chicken fajitas and I had the four types of vegetarian enchiladas. A wonderful combination of flavours that hit our pallets perfectly. The staff were very nice and out going. We were seated right away. The colourful restaurant gave us lots to look at and great music to listen to while we ate. We will be back for sure! Thank you for reopening! I was sad when I wanted to go and I saw that it had closed. Perfect for a date night as well for groups. 🇲🇽🌮🌯💚🤍❤️

This place was amazing. The atmosphere was great and service was superb. We shared Nachos fiesta, I’m typically not a huge nachos fan, but these were the best I’ve ever had. Then I had the chicken fajitas and tacos conchinita pibil. For dessert we had their homemade churros. Everything was so fresh. We will definitely be going back!

Nice cozy place. There's was live music that day. The portion are big but there's not enough meat inside the dish mostly rice. I wanted to taste the meat inside! Because the portion are big you can share appetizers with 1 main dish but if you take 1 main dish for yourself I don't recommend ordering appetizers. The place is a bit small.

Driving along, saw this place and stopped by. Glad I did as the food is full of flavor with every bite wanting to taste more. Will definitely be back to try other recommendations from the waiting staff.

The atmosphere was very nice and the staff was friendly. There was a singer and she was pretty good! However, big deception with the food. I went with my sister and both thought the plates seemed good but there were tasteless. Nothing special. Plus my plate came with a salad and when I asked for a sauce or some olive oil, the waitress said they had nothing to offer me.

We have been wanting to go here for some time - since seeing the beautiful mural while driving by. As we sat down we made a few observations. Some of the seats are church pews which we thought was kind of cool. We love festive the decor. The old furniture, disorganized look and menus that look like they've been crumpled and straightened back up again 1000 times give it that extra authentic feel like you're in an American movie depiction of what Mexico is like 😂 However, none of that matters at all because the tacos are wonderful.  Great sauces, perfectly cooked and seasoned meat, just the right size to try many different ones. Great food, great drinks, great time - will return.

This was the most incredibly authentic Mexican experience I’ve had in a very long time. As a family with two young children, we were treated so well by the kind server (who recently moved here from Mexico and is a sweetheart). The food was perfect, the service was exceptional and we had a fantastic evening. Even the chef gave us warm smiles. We had enchiladas (which come with salad), guacamole, tacos, quesadilla, and of course, margaritas. This place is the real deal and makes me wish I didn’t live in Ontario.

Very nice restaurant, well decorated & great service! I chose the “sopa de tortilla” & for tacos I took the shrimp one and al pastor. For tacos you can choose the individually which is nice because you can mix and match flavors. The lime margarita was delicious as well! I will definitely come back for the quesabirrias :)

Great service, awesome atmosphere on weekends as they had live music playing and nice vibe. However food was very disappointing. Everything seemed fresh however it was complicated bland and lacking any spice or traditional Mexican flavours. Didn't even see anything with coriander on the menu. Both my date and I were disappointed however we agreed because of the customer service and nice vibe we will give it another try at some point to see if it was just an off night.

The place is tiny, but very friendly and well decorated. It feels like home :-) Though for the quality of the food, I's say it's pretty average. The Carnitas taco (pork) wasn't very good and reflective of the traditional Mexican tacos, the meat was watery and lacked flavour. I was expecting to have some potatoes in my tacos as described in the menu but they were missing. The Chorizo and Pescado tacos were good. The Chorizo tostada as well. We didn't try the burritos but the people at the table next to us ordered it and it's a pretty big burrito! Looked good. The churros weren't fresh nor warm. Super cold and probably a couple days old. They don't bake them on site. Someone else does it for them, that's what our waiter said. I think she was the owner. They don't have an alcool license but that didn't really bother us. Casual and chill place, but for quality and flavour I prefer La Matraca or Capital.

Such a cute Mexican restaurant. I loved the decor. It's family friendly so definitely fun to bring your kiddos. The service was prompt and the servers were kind. We ordered the calamari for appetizers and they were so fresh. Even the breading felt quite fresh. I was tame and ordered the chicken and beef fajitas. I would give it a 7/10. The guac and beans were delish but there was something amiss about the fajitas themselves. My hubby had different tacos and he enjoyed them all. I gave them 4 stars because I found it pricey for what we got. With tip, it cost me 80$. I would probably return and try something different. :)

What a nice little spot on Beaubien!! We absolutely loved it, the live singer, decor, the service and the food, all 5 stars!! Kudos to the owner who built such a cool place! I'll definitely recommend that place to anyone who's looking for an original place to go to!

Fantastic restaurant with a live singer, great service and amazing food and drink menu. Definitely one of Montreal's hidden gems. I highly recommend passing by!

Probably one of my favorites mexican restaurant, everything in the menu is a delightful "come back again".

Great prices, big meals and delicious. Also the menu is much more diverse and exciting than any old burrito shop.
