Small place. We made a reservation, I recommend doing so. Very popular place. I had a glass of wine and lasagna, which was good. My counterpart had a pizza which was not. Super thin (not crispy) crust that was loaded down with toppings. So many most had to be removed. Service was excellent. All staff very attentive and friendly.

Google
Highlt recommended! We had a reservation and got a comfy booth in the corner. Everything we’ve tried over the years has been consistently delicious! We started with (oven baked bread!) Then moved to the eggplant appetizer, which were incredibly crispy like fries, and then I had the creamy sausage pasta while my friend enjoyed the manacotti - Calderone Club is especially known for their meatballs and pizza, and they truly live up to the reputation. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a bar, a proper dining room, patio, and a dedicated free parking lot. It’s a great spot for a casual night out or a special meal, and we always enjoy coming back. Enjoy! 🍝

Incredible food, service, and atmosphere, family friendly! I will recommend and go whenever is possible (Easily a newfound favorite place, I am eager to try more dishes). Pricing is reasonable. You definitely get what you pay for the flavor profiles are remarkable. Had 2 Italian margaritas with the Chicken Parmigiana and, of course, desert a slice of their tiramisu cake. Everything arrived in a timely manner. Was very enjoyable. Great music! Great people. Will be back. 😊

Google
Reservations are highly recommended. We just happened to stumble upon this hidden gem. Alot of the tables were already reserved, but they did accommodated us on short notice. Service and food was amazing!!

Doc Who? (Doctor Who?)

Google
The food was generally fine. The service was decent. The interior is tiny, leaving our table of five knee-to-knee with other patrons. The parking lot is abysmally small out front, with several "carry out" spaces and next-to-no spaces in front of the restaurant for disabled parking. Given the aged population of the area, and that there is also a significant Disabled Veteran population, this is a poorly thought out/executed parking lot for a busy restaurant. This last time we tried to eat there, we could find no parking and were told by staff they could not accommodate us until after 8pm (we arrived at 5:30pm), even though there were (by my count) more than five vacant tables. "Oh...those are all reserved." Hm. In my restaurant (yes, I was once a restaurateur), vacant tables got seated on a first come/first served basis, and that was a fine dining establishment...this is not. It's family style, at best. C'mon Calderone Club, you're in a strip mall. Get over yourselves.

Google
The inside seating wasn't possible due to reservation but they gave an outside deck that also may be dog friendly. Didn't check that time. The chicken marsala I used to use to check the food quality was fine but pasta and mushrooms were a way too salty. Not critically but might be better. The main disappointment was wine. We got s glass. By the smell it was opened a day before. At least. The most dissonant note in this experience.

Google
Amazing food, great atmosphere, excellent service! We've been going there for nearly ten years and this place is top notch and affordable! One time we left and forgot our leftovers - they called to let us know. Wow! C & K Wischer (yes, my last name changed) 🙂

Google
Wonderful local spot with absolutely amazing Italian food. Relatively small parking lot and interior keep this place packed. The fried eggplant was served perfectly, without being too mushy (which eggplant tends to be). We ordered the Calderone Works pizza on a gluten free crust (which my finicky husband couldn't detect) and it was so good! There's a lot of classics to choose from on the menu, and I look forward to going back and trying more.

Yelp
We came here with another couple while we were in town visiting friends. The other couple knew the owner of the place and boy that is a bonus, but it does not give you extra points for flavor, service, wine selection for proper pairing or just ambiance and all around great feeling when you are leaving. This place does need more parking to hold the number of patrons wanting great food and flavorful Italian food and drink. The deep fried mushrooms we had for an appetizer with marinara sauce were spot on. My chicken Marsala had ample mushrooms and a flavorful sauce with a side of pasta. My spouses veal Marsala was even better than my chicken. Bread and oil or butter early on was warm and went well with the short wait for food. It is a bit crowded inside, but that is a sign of spectacular food and service.

Yelp
Called at 4:40 p.m. to order pizzas for pickup at 6 but was told that I could not do that. I would have to call back at 5 pm in order to order for 6 because this was considered "calling ahead" and that's not allowed... Totally get not having an expensive website with all of the associated overhead to handle this, but this just seems like a pretty basic customer service opportunity. I ended up reaching out to another pizza place who could accommodate an order at 4:40 p.m. for 6 p.m.

Yelp
The food and service were great! I asked the server and bartender to choose my dessert and drink; they nailed it! Excellent dining experience.

Yelp
Pizzas are the best. They have limited offering of pizzas which in my option makes the ones you get very good, because they know how to make it well. Always friendly when I go pick up my pizza. When I go inside, I don't have to shout when paying or letting them know why I'm there. This is our new go to place for pizza.

Maggie ..

Yelp
Delicious food served in a charming atmosphere! The lasagna was exactly what I needed. Adorable bartender too.

Lisa D.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, service, and pizza! Highly recommend! We wished we were staying in town more than one night so that we could try other menu items.

Yelp
This place was pretty good. We got in fairly easily and the service was quick. We ordered a reasonably priced bottle of wine and had some decent entrees. My clam pasta was just okay, it was fairly watery but pasta was cooked right. The zucchini fries were good along with the spaghetti and meatballs.

Yelp
Calderone Club is a tried and true pizza option in the North Shore. I hadn't been there in years but we went recently with some friends. The inside is no frills. Smallish but fits a fair amount of people. The service was fine. The pizza was really good as were the mozzarella sticks. We got a fairly massive sheet of 'za and all enjoyed it. It's a solid pizza place. Maybe not the greatest, but thoroughly dependable and enjoyable.

Yelp
Perfection every time. Whether it's pizza, pasta, a sandwich or an entree--this family has been around, doing it right for years.

Katharine A.

Yelp
Wonderful Food ! Love the eggplant and pizza!! Service is ALWAYS friendly and welcoming, and never rushed no matter how busy they are . A true North Shore Secret!!

Yelp
So good. Pizza is amazing. They can pack a lot on that thing crust without it wavering or flopping. The steak spedini was awesome. Loved the fried eggplant and the cozy environment. Tiramisu was also the best. Most servers are probably good. Our server was not so great. Slow time of night (830pm) and she was super slow to bring drinks. We went to the bar ourself to get it finally. Not in touch with her customers. I'm sure she won't last long so still giving the place five stars bc this place has stood the test of time.

Yelp
New to the Fox Point area and saw this place in a Strip mall. You might think strip mall and thumb you nose, but that would be a mistake. We did not dine in but hope to soon. Ordered a large pizza and one order of mozzarella marinara to go (mozzarella sticks). All was delish. Pizza was sheet style and had a great taste. Sticks were solid and the sauce was awesome! While we did not dine in I did get a sense of the inside. Not a giant dining area, but quaint and an Italian feel to the joint. Great outside sitting area and a small bar. All in all I think this place will become a regular stop for us. Old, Goodfellas type feel to the place, and great vibe! Service was great, although the to-go order took about an hour. Go. Here. Now'

Yelp
Salad caprese without fresh basil romaine instead oil no balsamic vinegar.... Bread asked for three times never came. "it's in the oven" meal is cool now. Lasagna soupy with thin sauce smothered in sauce flavor none existent not a hint of oregano for instance Chef Boy Rdee would be superior. Three days in Italy would help the chef recalculate save your money.

Yelp
It has a very big family restaurant feel to it and the staff is all nice. A lot of the items in the menu are either you love it or you don't I would not suggest getting pizza but their eggplant Parmesan is amazing.
google avatar

Maggie D.

Yelp
Cannot say enough good things about this place. Warm and inviting place to dine out have a drink at the bar. Try the pizza it's to die for. The staff are all very friendly and have the Everyone knows your name feel.

Yelp
We had a group of five for a quick after work dinner on a Tuesday, and made reservations for 5:15. Arriving on time, we were seated in a comfortable table. Others had noted that the dining room is on the smaller side and they are correct - it is just about as packed in as you could get before becoming overcrowded. It wasn't busy when we were seated but quickly filled up. Upon receiving our menus we were told that we had a time limit on the table of 1.5 hours and that another party had a reservation after us, which was a reasonable amount of time for our dinner. Not a problem, but something to keep in mind considering the limited seating. Their menu covered a lot of Italian ground and should have something for everyone. We opted for the crispy eggplant sticks and bruschetta for appetizers and I ordered the Marsala for an entree. With the entree one also gets a soup or salad and a choice of pasta side, which guaranteed that we would all leave full. The appetizers were great, with the bruschetta standing out with great flavors and a fresh taste. It isn't the best that I've ever had, but it was still great. The eggplant was what I expected and was good. My Marsala was very good, with just enough sauce to keep things interesting and a good sized portion. The side of marinara pasta that we were given was very good and had lots of flavor and cheese, but having enjoyed all of the entrees, salad and most of my main dish I was unfortunately unable to finish it. I definitely can't complain about the portions! I am going to be eating here more often considering the proximity to my office - maybe I'll see you inside.

Yelp
Many thanks to our new neighborhood pizza joint, Calderone Club! There's nothing like a locally owned restaurant to make you feel right at home. We're new to Fox Point and lucky us, this Italian eatery is right down the street! We've been to their other location downtown, but this one is entirely different. It's a lot smaller and more quaint, which gives it such an authentic feel in my opinion. Calderone has long-standing history, being family owned since 1979. And you get that family-owned energy when you go in! Love that. We were starving on moving day, and in need of a quick fix. Nothing like a tasty pizza to fill that void! I gave them a call and put in an order for a large, Calderone Special pizza. After the 45 minute time estimate they gave, I zipped over to pick it up. It was a Saturday night and this place was poppin! Again, only small inside with a handful of tables, but the takeout scene was so busy. However I was still in and out within five minutes. I was a bit surprised by the $25 price, but soon realized it was worth it. This thing was both massive and delicious. Plentiful mozz cheese covered the thin, well-cooked crust. Atop that was Italian sausage, hella mushrooms (yum), black olives (double yum) and onions. There were only three of us and I kid you not, we devoured it. I look forward to making more visits down to this local spot to try many more menu items - count me in for pastas and calzones for sure. Thankful to have something great like this near by!

Yelp
Everything is so delicious here! The pinsa romana crust is the best pizza crust I've had in the Midwest. The lasagna is top tier! Definitely worth any wait they may have.

Yelp
I've visited three times over the past few years, most recently last night. The food and service have always been great! Their fried eggplant strips are very popular, as is their pizza and tiramisu, which is a homemade recipe from the matriarch of the family! I love the thin crust pizza, but last night I tried their Calabrian Crust, which is another recipe from the owners' mother. The crust is thicker (maybe double or 3x the thin crust, so not a "thick crust" pizza, where crust is 1/2 inch thick or more. The crust is still airy and lighter than a thick crust, yet as crispy, if not crispier, than their thin crust. It only comes in the "Junior" size but that is plenty of food for one person or perfect as a shared course, while you try other menu items. I hope to get back again soon to try their lasagna, which is another recipe from the family matriarch!

Yelp
Wonderful thin crust pizza, delicious fried eggplant, perfect musical ambience, atmospheric murals -- and, last but not least, an attentive, professional service staff who obviously care about their work and who like and assist one another. In short, a very special little corner of the world.
google avatar

Yelp
My father and I order pizza most Sunday nights. They have a wonderful thin crust Neapolitan pizza. Just the right amount of ingredients. Occasionally, I will order Veal Marsala. The wine sauce is fantastic. I have had the tiramisu and I did enjoy that. Previously,I have ordered the zucchini and eggplant appetizers and garlic bread. I have no complaints about the food.

Marilyn G.

Yelp
OMG! We had such a wonderful experience here! We ordered the chopped salad and the Calderone special pizza for four and it was delicious!! Servings were generous and taste was fantastic! Love the crust! But what made us want to return was our delightful server Kim!! She was helpful, polite, professional but personal. Very bright and fun but great service. We will return and enjoy CC and hopefully Kim!!

Yelp
Great food, Good service, and an inviting ambiance. The staff makes you feel welcome and the food is amazing! It's a family-friendly atmosphere but quaint enough for that special one-on-one occasion.

Yelp
Some of the best Italian food I've ever had in my life. And I frequently go back to New York, which arguably is known for Italian food. The atmosphere is wonderful. The owner is usually there and he's a steel trap of memory. He knows who we are you feel like family when you go in there. Did I mention it's the best Italian food I've had in a while. If you haven't tried it you have to try it even if it's just grabbing a pizza to go.

Greg N Becky G.

Yelp
This place is Really cool. I'm here in Wisconsin for work, and i was looking for a good pizza place, and this one came up. Frank, the bartender, and another guy at the bar are really funny. I think it might be the owner not to sure, but they definitely make you feel welcome. This is a Must Try. With a Great atmosphere and some authentic Italian beer and food

Rory O.

Yelp
Traveled to restaurant and arrived at 7:20. Advertised online as open until 9. Open sign was on . Was greeted by staff and told sorry we're closing at eight and cannot serve you, Kitchen is closing early. Waste of time!

Yelp
Went there for a little family get together. Food was outstanding in quality with rich flavors. Pizza- huge, chicken parm weighed about 5 lbs (plus a side of buttered rigatoni!), spaghetti and meatballs, ok not the size of a softball, but at least a hardball x 2! Service was outstanding, decor really pleasant. May I just suggest a reduction in volume of the music? Too loud, I am afraid. But... this place is awesome. Come hungry! Eat! Eat!

Val J.

Yelp
Went there for mother's day. 5 of us. Got seated fairly quickly, we had a reservation. Didn't get our food for over an hour and a half. No explanation or apologies from server, no updates, had to ask after an hour what was going on. The food was not very good, my dish, a piccata dish was so salty I couldn't eat it (I'd had it there before and it was fine, not great, but okay). This time it's like the chef forgot several times that they added salt, and seemed to have added it 2 or three times. We didn't get charged for it, but I didn't get a meal after an hour and a half, and again, no apologies. We used to be regulars there and now will never go back there again. Maybe it's good for carry-out, but this dine in experience drove us away for an long time.
google avatar

Dan H.

Yelp
food is usually pretty good, but lately... dining in & have pizza leftovers? they'll charge $1 for the to-go pizza box. if you dare add a topping to a pizza, instead of charging you for the extra topping, they'll make your pizza a base and charge you for each & every single topping, making your pizza extra expensive. used to come here all the time. never again...
google avatar

Kelsey R.

Yelp
I have lived in the area most my life and didn't realize there was a second location of the Calderone Club. We enjoyed soups, salads, cheesy bread, pizza, and a calzone. Everything was very good. The service was also great. I appreciate the staff going out of their way to help my grandfather and engage with him while he was waiting for us - he said he made some new friends which was heartwarming.
google avatar

Tim G.

Yelp
Ate here for the first time the other night and it was a great experience. The food was excellent - the lobster ravioli is a must try. Ran into the owner, literally, and he couldn't have been nicer. We will definitely be going back and will make this a regular stop. Cheers.

Yelp
Food, service, people are all phenomenal. Yelp is requiring at least 85 characters to review, so I added this sentence

Yelp
Although I have driven by the Fox Point location multiple times, I had no idea that there was a great hidden gem, authentic Italian restaurant, tucked away in this small strip mall. The first time I went was a few months ago on a dinner date and couldn't wait to go back again. I didn't take photos the first time for various reasons but did take a few during our more recent visit. The first time was during a Saturday night in November. With the social distancing, they had tables nicely spaced apart. The ambiance was a nice local, family owned, Italian restaurant. These types of restaurants are hard to find. I had the Chicken Marsala and an old fashioned. In the traditional Italian style, they brought out the crusty Italian bread and olive oil It was delicious. The minestrone soup is served in a traditional cup and tasted fresh. The Chicken Marsala was tasty, not overly salted as in many places and the side of garlic pasta was delicious as well. I recently returned with a more fun and relaxed group of friends and I even had a better time. This time I ordered the Veal Piccata and a bottle of Prosecco. Again the crusty, delicious bread and olive oil appease your appetite as you sit in this cozy Italian restaurant with a nice traditional décor that includes tablecloth. Many restaurants no longer use tablecloth. This time we dined during a non-busy weeknight. The Veal Piccata and the garlic pasta arrived and were delicious. We also got to enjoy a serving of surprise amaretto. The service was great during the busy Saturday night as well as during the more relaxed weeknight. Looking forward to returning.

Yelp
Great food! The Maria pizza is marvelous and they will make it gf! My husband ordered chicken and enjoyed it.

Yelp
We have eaten here several times over the past few months and always excellent food. We have tried a variety of things and everything has been really good.

Joann S.

Yelp
Excellent service, cloth table Clothes, old school music, authentic Italian food. I do not have a single complaint. We had a party of four, we ate at the bar. Michael gave us excellent service, food was phenomenal. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Chris O is a fan of Italian, so we decided to bring him here for his birthday dinner. It was a Friday night and we didn't have reservations, but were still able to be promptly seated. It's a small restaurant, so they have the tables packed in to maximize the seating capacity, but not so much as to be uncomfortable. We were all quite comfortable in our booth, with flickering candlelight on our table and Italian themed murals on the walls Our meal began with crusty bread and olive oil, both of which were just ok. I ordered a salad to start, which was also ok. Things began to turn around when our main dishes arrived, however. I ordered the fettuccini Alfredo, which was the usual creamy loveliness with an added flavor punch of chopped fresh basil mixed into the sauce. Delightful! One of my dining companions ordered the Penne Con Salsiccia and reported that the spicy Italian sausage had a nice kick. My other dining companion ordered the Linguine Clam Sauce, which was reportedly divine. They have a decent selection of beer and wine, but I didn't notice a cocktail menu (it could be that they serve them, but just don't have a signature menu--or, maybe, the cocktail menu was just accidentally left off our table). The service was attentive and the prices are reasonable. Oh! And, they have a lovely little patio, complete with an Italian Renaissance-esque water fountain. The weather wasn't warm enough the evening we were there, but I would definitely recommend the patio in good weather! Get to it!!
google avatar

Bill S.

Yelp
One word "FANTASTIC " was able to sample 4 dishes and my pizza.every one was incredible.

Diane F.

Yelp
I had dinner at the Calderone Club in downtown Milwaukee. I was very excited about ordering the Branzino. I was told by the waiter they don't have Branzino anymore. Then, the waiter tried to explain how difficult it is to get Sea Bass. Blah, blah, blah. There is no difficulty getting sea bass at other restaurants!!
google avatar

Nathan P.

Yelp
Best thin crust pizza in town and they've got a newer, thicker crust pizza that's just as good! We also got the fried eggplant which is a must, so crispy and light and delicious. Service was great and atmosphere was great, loved the music! Make sure to get a reservation to guarantee a table for dinner as it fills up quickly but good news is they obviously have carry out options too. Will be back soon and often!
google avatar

Curtis C.

Yelp
Small family owned place. Great staff, quick service. The front entrance is part of a retail center, plenty of parking and it's well seasoned on the outside...just go in..They bring out bread and EVOO to start and I started with a small Caesar salad, good fresh salad topped with shaved parm. Me and a couple of coworkers, split a medium pizza which was served on a cookie sheet ( hate to see a large) all fresh ingredients, it was a mix of veggies and meat on a crisp thin crust. More than enough. I have not found all the hot spots but this will be on the rotation when I return. I will be back!
google avatar

Olivia T.

Yelp
The takeout food is awesome I haven't sat down in there but when I went to pick up food it was warm and perfectly packaged! The walls were cute decoration and the service was quick and nice. The food was so good the calzone is amazing!

Yelp
Very cozy service was very good very attentive. Food was excellent. Have to make reservations or you'll never get seated small but good ambience would recommend it to my friends

Yelp
Service and food is always fantastic! You can't go wrong eating here (recommend reservations). My sons picture sums it up

Yelp
Great Italian food, and great service. Their pizza is really fantastic. Love the atmosphere.

Yelp
We have lived in Glendale for almost two years - and just tried Calderone Club for the first time. I'm not sure why we waited so long - it was so good. We ordered: 1. A pizza 2. Crispy Egglplant (the cooked it when we arrived to pick it up so it would be fresh, it was bomb! Still was crispy even after a short drive home) 3. Penne Con Salsiccia (SO GOOD!!!) My partner picked it up - but was impressed with the kid who was running the orderes. Friendly and efficient... and got to pet our dog, Maggie. We'll be ordering here on the regular. Great to support this local gem!
google avatar

Joy V.

Yelp
A family owned business that not only offers superb food (from scratch) but the entire staff remembers preferences and even has my favorite "lemon drop" made prior to even being ordered- you feel like you are part of their bustling family But let's chat food. The manicotti is among the best in the city and the prices are very reasonable. I also love the Alfredo and add grilled shrimp. Caesar salad can't be missed. My only suggestion is to perhaps update the bathrooms but they have a fun vintage charm. Great job on the outdoor patio for the summer too!
google avatar

Yelp
The most outstanding eggplant Parmesan ever! I order it every time . My husband likes the meatball sandwich and lasagna! MST Try the pizza!
