3 Best Day Trips from Savannah

"At Calhoun Street Tavern, the food is as serious as the cocktails; a double burger, for instance, is a little fancier than usual, with gouda, grainy mustard, and Vidalia onions, and more substantial plates include shrimp and grits, crab-stuffed flounder, and flatiron steak with potatoes and creamed collard greens. Some of the best options, though, reside on the snacks menu: Southern pickled shrimp, fried green tomatoes, and an andouille sausage plate with house-made pimento cheese." - Sam Worley

The first restaurant we ate at in Bluffton a few years ago and one we like to come back to. Great food and nice atmosphere. Previously I had the Shrimp & Grits which was very good. This time I had the crab stuffed flounder which was great as well. My wife got the Chicken & Waffles and thoroughly enjoyed it. Will return.

Google
It has an awesome outdoor porch and inside is truly Bluffton. Fried Chicken sandwiches are amazing. The shrimp appetizer is also excellent.

I had the pleasure of being served by RJ and Harvey, they were welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly. Their drink recommendations were spot on, and they mixed everything with skill and care. You can tell they take pride in what they do—every cocktail was perfectly balanced, and the service was seamless, even during a busy rush.

Google
Good place for a drink, but...! My wife and I went for lunch and were promptly seated out on the patio. First impression, the patio needs a power washing, and there were quite a few empty tables that had not been cleared. Also, the table where we were seated had broken glass under it. When brought it to the attention of the nice hostess she said she would get it cleaned up: NEVER HAPPENED! Which brings me to our food service. After about 20 minutes our server came out of hiding and she finally took our order. This was after walking right past us, asking the other tables how everything was? I assume it took this long because on my way to the men's room, I noticed she was heavily involved in texting someone... So, as we waited for our food, our server decided to clear a table next to us and she actually EMPTIED 2 USED WATER GLASSES right on to the floor between us, which ended up on my wife's feet! I can honestly say that was a first. The bigger question is who is responsible for the hiring and training? We may be back for a cocktail but that's about it!

Google
The fried green tomatoes, shrimp and grits, and crab stuffed flounder were delicious. We have had a lot of shrimp and grits in our combined lifetimes, and my husband said that these might be the best ever.

Google
We had the BEST experience at this restaurant thanks to RJ… truly a gem of a server! From the moment we sat down, he made us happy we came here. Attentive, friendly, funny, and absolutely on point with every detail. And let’s talk about those Bloody Marys… Hands down the best we’ve ever had. Perfect.. my dad gets bloody marys everywhere and he was in love. (Try the spicy) If you’re a Bloody Mary lover, RUN here. If you’re not, RJ will convert you.

Google
First time and impressed with the service Mike provided. Will be returning to enjoy other menu offerings. Great live music on the patio:

Google
Calhoun’s is always a favorite for us for a drink and appetizers. The goat cheese and pepper jelly waffle is the perfect amount of sweet and savory! If you’re lucky enough to get a seat at the bar-hopefully Harvey is working! He’s the best! Nicest guy and a fantastic mixologist.

Yelp
popped in on a Sunday few weeks back when the live music outside and Bloody Mary special both looked appealing. also a mimosa deal on Sundays. great spot even in the heat with fans cranking and shady spots to be had, grabbed some spots at the outdoor bar and received excellent service from Kenzie. did not eat so can only speak on the solid bloody and mimosas with a twist. Aces.

Yelp
Dined earlier this week, still reeling about my experience. Came in to grab food and drinks, and the food and service was excellent. I got their greek salad with added steak and it was great! I wish I could give a higher rating, but we had a bad encounter with a young man, I assume a host or busser. He chose to flick ice at our table, and upon requesting him to stop, he gave us dirty looks. I'm not sure if he was off, because he was sitting down at a table, but I'm near positive he worked there. A very odd encounter. Would I come back? Undecided.

Yelp
Yelp is asking me to touch on three things: food, service, and ambiance. Ok. The food? I got the chicken and waffle. The chicken was tough and couldn't have been over a 4oz cut. The waffle was small and bland and chewy like an old piece of gum is. This dish was $20 with no side item included. Fantastic. The ambiance was great, if "half the staff on their phones playing games" is your kind of ambiance. It's not mine, so I did not enjoy it. Lastly, service was excellent. I asked our server for bottom shelf liquor as to not break my bank and help stay within my budget for the meal and was served $14 drinks without my knowledge. Great work. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
I actually give it zero stars. We arrived for our 7 PM reservation on time and was told our reserved high top table had been given to another party. The hostess said she gave it to them because they had 3 people and we were only 2. They arrived after us. We left. Unbelievable. We will not be going back.

York Y.

Yelp
We were a party of four celebrating Christmas and had a great time. Miss Burdette waited on us and was completely on point! We had the seared Tuna, Andouille sausage and cheese plate and Crabcake Apps and they were great. 10/10 will be back!

Patrick S.

Yelp
Great food and service. Menu is a little expensive but reasonable. Great outdoor seating with live band on the weekend evenings.

Malinda D.

Yelp
Brined chicken sandwich awesome, music is always a favorite of Hiltons. Hilton even gotten some lovin from last nights music group

Hannah C.

Yelp
The food is delicious, the drinks are great. Best chicken salad sandwich and shrimp and grits. Taylor, our waitress was very sweet and attentive.

Yelp
Food is consistently good. Great bar program. Specialty cocktails are on point. Fried Chicken sandwich is outstanding, might be the best anywhere. Tavern Potatoes. I dream about them. Pickled shrimp appetizer, OMG. too small though. Great Bloody Mary, get the Captain. Had a great waiter. he was full of jokes, and took us through the whole menu with candor. He even gave the kids glow sticks.

Leslie H.

Yelp
14oz ribeye- had been frozen and under weight. The one side dish of mac/cheese was not as good as a cheap box mix. $35. ??? Stuffed crabmeat flounder- good flavor but barely warm.$25 ??? Wheat beer and Margareta were good but, waitress never asked if we wanted another! It was a slow night so there shouldn't have been an issue. Last time for us!

Yelp
We come to HH once a year and last year we decided to make a reservation here for the first time. When we got to the restaurant the hostess turned us away even though we showed up at our reservation time, followed by her telling us the kitchen was closed. So of course we were super annoyed after traveling all day and having to scramble late to find somewhere to eat. Not very hospitality like. However, this year we decided to give them another shot and I am so glad we did. Our server was absolutely delightful and just so kind to us. The food was out of this world. We got the kettle chips to start and we both got the double burger. I was nervous to get the double burger thinking it would be huge and too much food but I ended up eating the entire thing, the patties were super thin. THE MAC AND CHEESE THOUGH!!!!!! I could eat mac n cheese literally everyday and I am soooooooo picky when it comes to others, and I COULD EAT THE MAC N CHEESE HERE EVERY DAY! It just reminded me of home, my dads mac n cheese. The restaurant is super homey and quaint. You can tell its a local spot as well. You definitely need to eat here if you're in town!

Jane S.

Yelp
The quality of the cooking is less than impressive. The hamburger is tough. The fried chicken is tiny and overcooked.

Yelp
Second time here. First time was outside with a band and dinner. Very solid food and service that time. The following time we went sat outside on a weeknight anticipating ordering dinner. In fairness they had a bit of a rush outside of people coming in all at once. We ended up getting a couple of appetizers and taking off as our waiter was a bit awkward (although nice) but seemed overwhelmed. I would go back again but with some hesitation. They have a solid menu and good food but that night was off. Ended up going to sliders down the block which had better service and the staff seemed enthusiastic to be there.

Yelp
Wasn't really feeling it today, telling by the fact that this food was very disgusting. I thought it was eating old dirty socks, not to mention the brain was terrible. It had no crisp to it, and the potatoes were almost still fried and not cooked at the same time. You're only entitled to two types of cheese, which a lack of variety is surprising since this is a tavern. You know the best way to describe this restaurant is by telling by the experience! we had with dirty silverware, and Dirty cups and no ice in our glasses, the guests had ice in it. Brunch was supposed to be every day and when you get to the restaurant it's not and it's only on Sunday. We were not very happy not, gonna return not sure what the rave is about because I definitely was turned off. We wanted to leave just sitting down at the table telling how everything was going. We almost felt like we didn't belong today. What bothers me the most as well was that they had sauces it looks like out of the freezer and in a nice box just chilling out that's it. Also a health code violation if I've ever seen one I don't care if you've been open for 15 minutes or two hours. That's an easy way to get someone sick. Not to mention If you want dangerous chairs that tip over as well definitely come here because you are sure to move your chair and tap the bottom of it. It slams the back of the chair onto the floor also dangerous.

Jolie W.

Yelp
The food compliments the service. Both absolutely TERRIBLE. The yellowfin tuna is drowning in a sauce to the point where it's soggy and you can't taste anything but sugar. The pickled shrimp didn't have any flavor. It was blanched and tasteless. The avocado "toast" wasn't even on bread it was a soggy mess. They charge you to use a credit card but they don't mention that. You just see it on the bill. When presented the bill she took it right out of my hand and I wasn't even allowed to review the charges. The ambiance is fitting for a tavern but very dark and unappealing for brunch. Overall bad experience despite being one of two occupied tables.

Chuck L.

Yelp
Gray food, awesome atmosphere and Taylor took care me with a smile at the bar. Moving to area and will make this a weekly stop on

Laura K.

Yelp
Good food and service. Pub type atmosphere and menu. Great cocktail menu. I had the chicken sandwich and my girlfriend had the prime rib sandwich. Both were very good.

Yelp
Went to Calhouns for Brunch on Easter. My family and I enjoyed everything we had. Linda our waitress was an absolute gem. We will return

Vicki D.

Yelp
Service was terrible. No silverware. No napkins, meal came before drinks! Server was missing, bar tender had to deliver drinks after we asked for them a water.atmosphere was lovely. Food was mediocre. We order a $36 steak that came on a dish that didn't fit it.

Mindy K.

Yelp
The appetizers that we had were delicious. Sadly we didn't make it past that. We sat there and waited for someone to take our order for close to 30 minutes. There was a total of 3 tables that's with us include. It was not busy at all. Our server was Taylor she waited on a couple beside us that had finished their meal and ordered dessert. If Taylor would have just checked in with us between them ordering the dessert and bringing it to them it would have been better service but she didn't. She walked past our table multiple times and said nothing. Drinks were empty our appetizer plates were empty and still no communication. There was a larger party there as well that had their food already and she checked on them I believe twice but still we were ignored. We are a family of 5 three young children. When she finally asked if she could take our order we kindly asked for the check bc we were simply just tired of waiting. We were not rude, loud, or mean. Her response was you don't have to be rude about it. That is when I got annoyed I dont consider it rude to ask for a check after waiting for so long. When she brought our card back she tried to explain that she was the only one serving and she thought we were rude for not understanding that. I had to ask her to please drop it. She wanted to pick a fight in front of my kids. I got upset and told her enough was enough. Just learn to check on your tables. If she would have at least just said she would have been with us in a minute or just simply talked to us as she walked past it would have made us at least feel welcome. Arguing and calling us rude when we were far from rude is what made me write the review. Her attitude was uncalled for. We spent 40.00 dollars already on drinks and two appetizers it's not like we wasted her time but she sure did waste ours. The food and menu does look great. Maybe we will be back one day.

Yelp
Looking for a place for lunch while visiting Bluffton & decided to try Calhouns Tavern based on reviews and it was a delicious decision! Place was clean & had nice ambiance and service was friendly & attentive. She had the prime rib sandwich with collard greens and I tried the tavern burger with their signature tavern fries which our server suggested. Both were very good...one of the best burgers I've had and crispy tavern fries. Sorry, forgot to take pics of our food. Will definitely return next time when in Bluffton.

Andrew N.

Yelp
Do not be fooled by their slick website. They say they have a Chef driven menu. However, judging by the quality of food coming out of the kitchen, their Chef has driven away. The shrimp burger tasted like salty shrimp that had been sitting around for a week. It was not edible. The cheesy grits reminded me of old Thanksgiving leftovers that had been reheated too many times. The mac and cheese was dry and flavorless. The only thing that was semi decent was the fried chicken sandwich. Service as just plain awful. It was painfully obvious our server did not want to be there or to be waiting on us. She was annoyed from the moment we walked in with a child without a reservation and wanted to sit inside. How management lets her work in a foodservice establishment with giant fake nails with jewels and what not all over them is beyond me. When we were sat we were not given a kids menu. Found out there was one after the fact. So instead of getting a kids meal with a protein and a drink we ended up ordering a side of mac and cheese which we were charged $8 for. When our table was cleared the server didn't ask about the unconsumed portions of food which was all the sides and the entire shrimp burger. So while it may look like a nice place to go eat. Don't!! I guess just stick to drinking there. Looked like an interesting bourbon offering and some good beers on draft. Really wish I had not wasted $75 for my family to try this place for my birthday.

Marian D.

Yelp
Freezing inside. Food gets cold within seconds. Every ceiling fan on at top speed. Something in the kitchen was burning and it was so smoky my eyes were burning. Food may have been good but cold eggs are not tasty. Server tried to be nice but couldn't make up for the kitchen.

Sheila F.

Yelp
If you want to just go on a date or take a group, you will get the best service ever. The food, drinks, and staff are top notch. A fun place to go. Calhoun Street Tavern also does a great Job giving back to the community. Thank you Calhoun Street for your great service and Supporting the Sun City Womens Nine Hole Charity. You are the Best.!

Yelp
so I'm from out of town.. I've been here for 4 months.. I'm an invested contractor in Savannah, a stone throw away.. The food here is amazing. I come from a big city with allot of food and this place would compete in time square.. I cannot complain about what they uphold.. However, if and when you visit this place, with good vibes and great atmosphere, you need to visit when kaysi or Emily are working. The rest of the bar tenders are DUDS. Milk duds.. You will not get the service you deserve, at the bar, unless you have one of these two lovely ladies serving you.. Food 9.5/10 service (other than those two women Wednesday-Sunday) 6/10 Highly recommended

Yelp
We had dinner there tonight, 2 couple, food and service was great. Natalie was our server and she was delightful. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
Ordered during happy hour and they argued about the charges. Finally got the bill fixed. Got served the wrong wine and they blamed me because "I should have known." Awful!!!!

Yelp
I've been here several times for drinks at the bar, unfortunately this review is about my first dinner. The four of us sat at a hightop and ordered drinks which were fine. I ordered Shrimp & Grits, my wife order sliced prime rib sandwich, and the other couple ordered the beet salad and a shrimp burger. The salad and burger were delivered in good time and from what I heard were good. Our Shrimp & Grits and Prime Rib sandwich did not come at same time. I figured they'd come in just a minute. Nope. Our waitress was at the kitchen window where I saw what definitely could've been my meal sitting. After 10+ minutes (seemed like a lot more) the waitress finally stopped by and apologized and blamed the kitchen. When our meals were delivered I was proved right that mine had been sitting there from the beginning. Hoping the heat lamps had kept it warm, but suspecting not, I touched a room temperature shrimp. I sent it back. Server said they'd make a new one. OK, I don't know for a fact it was not new but I suspect it wasn't. It was pretty quick and very hot especially the plate. All of the sausage was burned on one side, the side turned down on the plate. The shrimp were very hot and ok, the grits were ok at best. I ate all the shrimp and little else. No comment from server when she took away my very full plate. I'll stick to cocktails in the future.

Yelp
This review is for dinner on a slow Sunday night. Though they were in hand reservations were not needed and with the weather being kind sitting outside was an easy choice to make. The first ding is the waitress not knowing the list of draft beers very well and, in general, I am always disappointed that a 'bar' with seasonal choices on the fixed menu does not have an actual list of those choices available separately. Anyway... beyond that the second ding was not really having any kind of appetizer on the menu to make the wait for dinner less obvious. Outside of that the food turned out to be really great. I thoroughly enjoyed my Mahi Mahi Sandwich, blackened, with chow-chow, kickin' rémoulade, greens, on toasted french bread with a side of mac and cheese.

Yelp
Ate here on the patio for date night with my husband and we really enjoyed ourselves! Service was prompt and friendly, food and drinks were good and we loved the live music.
google avatar

Yelp
A hip little spot in the middle of Bluffton with two flat screens, a lovely L shaped bar that seats about 10 and a great patio courtyard on the side. So glad we stumbled upon this little gem! My Chop Salad greens were perfectly fresh, and obviously not from a bag! The salad was completed with cherry tomatoes, quartered boiled egg, red onion, pine nuts and sherry vinaigrette. For an up charge, I ordered grilled chicken, and it was cooked perfectly! Also, important to note: Sunday Brunch with Live Music 11-3, Monday - Friday happy hour 4-6. Hope to return soon to this new find!

Yelp
We really enjoyed our evening out, after a long day, of work. My shrimp and grits hosted a charred sausage and likely steel grits. The roux was spicy btu good. My Keylime drink was delicious. The oyster salad was very good. Others seems to enjoy their steak. We ate inside but drifted out to the patio for live music, afterwards. The staff was accommodating. We enjoyed the musicians and the atmosphere. The other patrons were friendly and had an all around good time. The walk back to the car was comfortable and relaxing. We will go again.

Cameron T.

Yelp
Had a reservation at 7:30 and we sat there until 8:45 only to find out the server never even put our food in. Server walked by us multiple times while my drink was empty. I had to ask my significant other which one was even our server as I had forgotten.

Joyce C.

Yelp
Food is basic at best Service good and fun atmosphere but the chef needs to step it up

Yelp
After yelping the local area, I went to Calhoun's because it didn't seem like the usual Hilton Head tourist trap. This was everything I needed after a long day of travel. I also saw pictures of some pretty delicious looking burgers. So I went in. I immediately saw the large wall of whiskeys behind the bar. What a selection! I knew I came to the right place. I had a prime rib melt and the key lime pie. After a nice talk with the bartender, my food came out surprisingly quick. It was great. The meat was juicy and so flavorful I almost didn't use any of the horseradish creme or au jus that came with it. I did try some of each on the last few bites though. Both were good, but the sandwich just didn't need it. I had some of their house slaw for my side. I love good cole slaw. This was damn good cole slaw. The key lime pie was a nice touch to top off the night. I will definitely eat here again during this trip.
google avatar

Jill M.

Yelp
Ate lunch here after #pledgethepink. Too bad Cahill's couldn't feed the hungry crowd in a reasonable amount of time. So we hiked down the road to find food after a 10 mile walk. A bit overpriced for what you get. My grilled grouper Po'Boy was not served on French bread as described. It was, however, cooked perfectly. Quinoa as a side went well with the 22 oz. cold local brews. Nice sandwich and salad selections for lunch. Checked out the wine selection. If you visit and you're interested in a bottle of reserve, you won't be disappointed with the choices. Wait staff did a fine job taking care of the 6 of us with three separate checks--most of which came out pretty much correct. Close enough among friends. The space is beautiful and unique. During our visit they were ready for Halloween.
google avatar

Julie L.

Yelp
So we had a nice dinner sitting outside. The bartender was doing double duty, but did a decent job. The food was good although the mahi-mahi was a little dry. My main complaint was that the music was fabulous, the singer had a great voice, and a wide range of different types of music, however the courtyard where she played was too small for how loud she was. I would've given her a five star if she had just recognized that she was overpowering the area. I definitely will give it another try as I love the atmosphere of being able to sit outside on a beautiful fall evening, and I love listening to live music. I just don't want to have to scream at the people at my table to talk to them
google avatar

Bill S.

Yelp
This is a proper tavern with well stocked Bourbons and good beers on tap. I'm just passing thru town, comes to find out my buddy who I grew up with now lives in Bluffton! I called him, says to meet here at 7. I haven't seen my buddy in, I'd say 17 years. What will he be drinking once he shows up? Beers? Bourbon? Wine coolers?? My wife and I get to the bar early and order two drinks. The doors are open, its such a nice night to hang out and shoot the breeze. I order a beer on tap and wine for my wife. The crown seems fun, I hear a group of ladies talking about martini choices. The bar, lots of great beers on tap. Our drinks come and I'm surveying the bar: Great Scotch and Bourbons that are within reach. Finally, I get a great bearhug. My buddy shows up with his girlfriend. I ask what are y'all drinking? Bulleit Bourbon, neat. Haha, my brother. Great spot for cool cocktails, I wish we would have stayed for dinner because the place looks phenomenal
google avatar

Dave P.

Yelp
Third time trying to eat here. Was it worth the wait? Not really... Ok food, very loud interior, but the service made the meal tolerable. May return, but sitting outside for sure!
google avatar

Lindsey S.

Yelp
Pros: the food was good, good drink selection, clean. I had the prime rib melt and a stout. Cons: it's one of those places where if you're not a regular, you don't get great service. We sat at the bar, mainly because no one greeted us at the door. The bartender was friendly but after giving us our drink, paid us no attention. He was busy giving fireball shots and refills to the regulars. I understand the incentive of keeping the return customers happy, but you don't gain new customers by ignoring them. I would still recommend visiting here, but make sure you order drinks, food, and the check all in one go.

Yelp
Great food and great live music outside. In the middle of Old Town Bluffton ... convenient

Yelp
We enjoyed our brunch here on the way to Hilton Head. The pickled brined fried chicken was very, very good - both on the sandwich and w/ the waffles. The waffles themselves were underwhelming, but the dish overall was good as the chicken was the star. The Crabcake Benny, served over fried green tomatoes, was also wry enjoyable, although the potatoes served with it were a bit boring. The mahi mahi po' boy was also good, although it was a bit odd that it was served on a square ciabatta type bun rather than a softer, traditional po' boy roll. Atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant.

Yelp
Words I would use to describe this location: LOUD, tiny, and hipster meets the south. Prices are pretty high for a pub/tavern. We stopped by during what I can only assume was a lunch rush. We had to almost yell at each other just to hear one another. The seating area was very small and with all the tables full it was extremely noisy. The customer service we received was great and we really enjoyed our food. The atmosphere was very cool, but the all around loudness really ruined the experience for us.

Yelp
This place is gross. Honestly, save yourself from eating here. Maybe it's a good place to have a drink at, but food-wise, barf. My family and i stopped by here to grab some lunch, and sat outside. Outdoor seating had a decent ambiance, and the weather made it better. Took forever for the waitress to come out. When she finally did, she was very quick and snarky with her responses, almost to the point as if rude and in a hurry. I understand they were busy inside, however, it came across as if she was annoyed we were there, taking up her time. Getting to the food, forget it. "Chicken and waffles", i have never seen anything more pathetic looking in my life. Comical. Frozen, tiny, deflated waffles, heated in a microwave with a sad piece of chicken on the side, and some syrup placed in a tiny container on the side of the plate. Honestly, if i were the restaurant , i would be embarrassed to even call that chicken and waffles, and by their presentations of the plates. Salads are literally iceberg lettuce, topped with maybe 4 olives, and some old looking tomatoes, and slivers of red onion shaved on. So unappealing. The pork chop, forget it. Looked reheated in a microwave, the ugliest looking pork chop you've ever seen. The prices you would of thought you'd be getting some good food. WRONG. this place is a total rip off and i highly advise you skip it for food. I'm sure one of the other restaurants around there serves much better quality which reflects the prices. I didn't even eat my food, that's how low quality, unappetizing it was. Service sucked, food sucked, total miss! NEXTTTT...

Yelp
I should've left right after I tasted the flat soda. Ordered a fried mahi mahi po boy, that came out looking nothing like a po boy. The taste was just weird and off putting. Couldn't even finish more than a few bites. The service from the waitress was almost as bad as the food. I don't recommend and wouldn't come back.

Yelp
Fabulous addition to Old Town Bluffton. Let's talk home-made pickles and pickle-brined chicken, a gorgeous space and accommodating bartender Eric. Dad had the chicken fried boudin... being a ragin Cajun from Bayou Black... he gave it thumbs up. I travel to Bluffton from NY several times a year, have for the last 25... this is a new fave. See you at the beautiful oak bar...

Yelp
Happy hour is from 4-6 M-F. My wife and I stopped by after the downtown festival to grab a quick beer and a bite. No discounts for weekends. We had the Andouille Sausage & Pimento appetizer to share. It comes with a large Andouille sausage as well as house made pimento cheese. They us a white cheese as opposed to the usual orange cheddar. The cheese also had a pickle relish type flavor and was very good. Served with a toasted baguette, brown mustard and sliced pickles. It was enough for both of us. I also had a Coastal Hop Art IPA which was very good. They have about 8 craft beers on draft and a great selection of wines & spirits---- all high end. 2 large TV's by the inside bar and one large TV on the outside courtyard area. For dining outside, there are heaters and many places to people watch. I'll update the review once I visit for dinner or an event.

Yelp
Second time at this place and interestingly enough, made the same observation both times. We always sit at the bar wherever we go...always meet friendly fellow patrons and bartenders. Here...while the food was good (not great!), it was the unfriendly bar service that we experienced both times that has tainted the place. We will not go back!

Yelp
Initially we were skeptical because of the messy tables and sloppy drink service but after the spills were cleaned, the true colors showed. The bloody marys were valanced and flavored perfectly. The dishes showed and again, the flavors were spot on. We had blackened crab cakes, blackened mahi, the sausage and pimento dish, the pickled shrimp and a brunch dish. No faults could be found. Truely enjoyable food!! The crabcake was crisp and crab filled (not bready!). The mahi was moist and fresh... increddible!!! A great kitchen and a solid bar. One to be enjoyed!!
