Caliche’s Frozen Custard

Never disappoints. I can say the consistency across all caliches stores is good. The only difference will be when you go, time of year, time of day, sometimes there is a big wait, sometimes none at all. Also every ice cream combo we have ever tried has been a hit.

Absolute favorite spot when wanting a sweet treat so fresh and the custard is always amazing. Also if you haven’t tried there raspberry unsweetened tea would highly recommend one of my go to’s.

Let me start by saying we love Caliches, it’s a Las Cruces staple. This one though seems to never get our order correct, it’s either the wrong thing or missing items . While in line waiting for our food , we had to continually ask for our missing items (3 in total ), and then when we pulled in to eat the hot dogs were wrong. At that point we were just over it and threw the stuff away and left . Maybe more training on quality control ? Idk

Hands down a must stop for frozen custard every time I roll through!!! Add extra nuts of choice. Such a treat!!

Usually hit up the one on Valley but while it's getting renovated decided to go here and enjoyed it immensely. Great customer service and delicious!

Second time giving this place a chance and again, there is no espresso taste in my Adobe Mudd and the custard is already melting when being handed out the window. We tried the hot dogs this time and they were cold. Ended up feeding mine to the dog. Maybe that's poor judgment ordering a hot dog from an ice cream place. Perhaps this is the New Mexico standard but the custard from the Midwest (which I’m used to) never disappoints.

Our favorite Caliche’s location in Cruces. David has excellent customer service skills and when he found out we’ve been collecting the stickers, went out of his way to make sure we got the Halloween stickers as well. Thanks again to David and his thoughtfulness!

Don't ever really go here for food anyway.But I have gone for a dessert and I have really amazing desserts.

Omg the frozen custards here are amazing!!! So creamy and filling! Definitely worth visiting!

So happy this Caliche's opened because it is closer to where we stay when we visit. Caliche's is a must every time we come to Las Cruces, sometimes we even get 2 treats store during 1 visit. It would be so dangerous if we had this CA. The custard is so smooth and creamy. Plus the toppings that are used seem to be great quality. They are always very quick and friendly young kids that work here. Nothing beats sitting outside on one of their tables on the evening of a sunny day! Also a great place to bring your pup, they have outside seating only and over poochi cones for those without sensitive tummies!

Super fun food and always delicious and satisfying. Staff are always very friendly and welcoming.

The service was good and so was the custard floats. But I could not believe that they do not offer bathrooms for their customers. I thought all restaurants were required to offer bathrooms for their customers. We were told to go to Blake's Burgers across the street! And they call this customer service! Appalling!

People have found this location! Ha! But, this Caliche crew has no problem with a line. We visited the drive thru and had a great experience! Delicious ice cream as always and a pooch cone for my puppy!!! So fun!!!

Best frozen custard ever! Must stop if you are in New Mexico. Yummy!! Great customer service and fresh tasty treats. Went twice in one day!

Came here around dinner time, ordered at counter as we are out of towners and didn't realize there was no inside seating. The guy who took our order ran over, he looked very much in a hurry. We ordered a cone, a grasshopper sundae, and a green Chile sundae (because when in New Mexico). Green Chile Sunday was a 2/5, would not order again but nice novelty item to try if you're looking for something different. The cups they gave us the sundaes in we're only half full, or half empty if you're a pessimist. Doesn't really seem worth the price we paid. Would not return here, or maybe if I tried a different location they might actually fill our cup more?

I try to go to Caliche's whenever I'm in a city with one. I recommend the vanilla custard with green chile. NM true!

The mucho nachos were great and a lot larger than I expected. The hot dogs are top notch and the quality of the dogs are among the biggest and the best. They're probably Nathan's all beef by the way they taste. The strawberry cheesecake Caliche was beyond belief tasty. If you want munchies instead of a meal this place will take care of your cravings and fill up your belly with the best junk food in town.
