I had an excellent experience working with Bonnie, Keith and the upholstery team at Calico. They helped fix a really bad upholstery job on a vintage chair I inherited from family. The chair looks AMAZING! Will definitely come back for more fabric needs.

Had an 11 am appointment on a Saturday, left my mom with dementia figured it only be an hour. They didn't know I had an appointment. Only 2 people working and she was waiting on others after handing me 2 books . I had used them before and they were great, I guess "due to Covid" another place has lost the ability of customer service. Will not go back.

I’ve been working with Patty Breidenstein to update fabrics for our whole home; curtains, roman shades, pillows, slip covers and duvet covers. Patty has understood the look I’ve wanted from the first pillow purchase, sometimes even better than I have. There is no way I could have gone on the renovation journey without her help......she is absolutely fantastic!!

Yesterday I made my second trip to Calico Corners to place my order. The store was swamped but Jen went above and beyond to help us figure out boat curtains for 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for our new boat! Jen was patient and knowledgeable. Helped figure out the yardage of Living Room Cornace boards that run vertical and the back is finished as well as all the different sizes for 2 bedrooms. I love Calico Corners and my family always got fabric from the St Clair Shores branch. Thankyou Jen, we thought we'd be there for hours, you helped so much my husband and I both were so impressed with your high level of customer service. We will be back for more later this year for our home and outside furniture. What a DEAL for Sunbrella fabric. I really thought it would be easily double what I spent!!! Thankyou

Was excited to go into this shop today but quickly became disappointed as I waited 15 minutes and not once did someone say hello or offer to assist. I finally asked someone "do I need to make an appointment to receive service?" She said she'd call someone for me...but even when they came out, they ignored me and my mom. I decided to leave but may go back again if different people are working.

Beautiful store, wonderful selection and helpful staff. Just on the expensive side. They are great with custom drapes and furniture. Had several pieces done here and I am always satisfied.

Great fabric collection and helpful sales ladies. I'm very pleased to with my purchase and will definitely go back.

How they are still here, I don't know. We needed new draperies in one of our bedrooms, I had great luck with Calico Corners in Chicago so I suggested we give them a try. Big mistake. Huge. Customer service is a foreign language at this store. It started when we went in to pick out fabrics, that part was fine, but when we had decided to go ahead with ordering it just got worse. My fault, I should have recognized that the dot matrix printer that has not been made for 20 years and the DOS based ordering system may have been indicative of inclusion into this century, It took over an hour to actually do the order, they didn't seem to care. We opted to have them come out and do the measuring ($120 charge), this occurred within a week or so, then we waited, and waited, and waited. In the past I found custom drapes to take 3-4 weeks, this order took 10 weeks, anytime we called to ask about the status, we were told that "someone in the back" had the answer to our question and she would call us. We never received a call. Finally when they did get here, the installer realized that they were 3" too short (Luckily they did the measuring not us) and had to be remade. So here we wait, no one calls us back, no idea of what is happening, and dealing with the rudest salespeople of all time and paying far more than other place for the privileged, So again, how are they still in business? I have no idea given their abysmal customer service. Avoid this place and find other vendors.

What a way to ruin a nice long weekend than to spend it getting horrible customer treatment and being looked down upon by the cranky mean woman who worked there today. I went in after seeing the sign for Furniture Sale on their window and also wanted to check out their windows treatment for my new home. Since no-one helped me when I first walked in, I looked around a little and decided to sit down to try out the L-shaped sofa on sale that was priced well. I must have committed a carnal sin because the cranky sales woman came up to me offering to "help" was acting more accusatory on why I was sitting on their sofa for sale. You caught me, I'm couch surfing on a beautiful sunny Friday afternoon at a snobby drapery store (7 months pregnant with twins by the way). THAT is how I choose to spend my spare time on the weekends. I could tell she really didn't want to help, after answering my questions with short curt responses and telling me multiple times to "read the tags". What was the point in getting her help then??!?!? I left there feeling bad to not saying anything in person to this mean old lady. I'm going to phone the manager to inform them of the bad service tomorrow and will update my review once I speak with him or her. Sad part is that I actually liked their products and thought the draperies they had there were beautiful. I just don't believe in giving a company my business who treats me so poorly.

I placed an order for custom curtains at this location and after a week, I had to follow up with the store to schedule measurements (even though I was supposed to be contacted within a week and I already paid 50% of the bill, including the cost for measurements). Aggie answered my call and I received horrible customer service.

I can't say enough about the service, professionalism and patience of my consultant, Penny at Calico. This is the second time I have gone there for window treatments, (six years in between!) and both times I found the selection, the decorators, and the service of very high quality. Penny has been extremely helpful and collaborative, suggesting additional color and fabric ideas for other projects. I changed my mind mid-project about style and was assisted by Patti and the store manager to help me with the final decision. I will indeed return!

I went to Calico Corners during their sale. We just renovated our home and the last thing was blinds & a cornice for our living room glass door. Kelly came to the house and offered suggestions and brought samples. I picked what I wanted and when I went to the store she had everything prepared plus another material option for the cornice that she didn't have when she came to the house. I loved it! I was very happy that she took the time to put together options other than the samples at the house. Tom, the installer was fast and did a great job. His measurements were spot on. I am very pleased with the work and recommend them to anyone looking to add or replace their current window treatments. The price was reasonable too!

I can't give them a raving review. Initially, Calico was very helpful, they came to my home, met me early and made me so happy and excited about decorating my windows in my new home. After I placed my first order (only 2 rooms, thank goodness), I have had the worst service. I do believe the window treatments I purchased will turn out beautiful, but I will look somewhere else to complete my home. If great customer service is what you are looking for, then this may not be the place. If all you care about it getting your windows done and don't care about timing or service then you may be happy.
