I've been to about 5 CCC locations and this one is by far my favorite one. I am always able to find seating to enjoy my favorite wrap. They have 8 different wraps but my go-to is the ranch wrap (used to be the primavera wrap). I pay extra for white rotisserie chicken and go with lite-white pita. It also comes with sprouts, carrots, tomato, avocado and greens. Their freshly squeezed lemonade and chocolate chunk cookie are really good! The staff is friendly and attentive. There is seating outside only and they have a restroom (cleaner than most). I eat at this location quite often. Parking can be difficult during rush hours.

Have been eating st CCC for YEARS. Food is always quick, top notch, and is fair priced. I love CCC and specifically love the CCC at this location since staff is super sweet and are extremely quick so that I can run back to work without having to wait a standard restaurant time. Highly recommend their veggie wrap!

This restaurant was recommended for lunch due to its high-quality food options, including wraps, salads, rotisserie dishes, and various sides. We ordered a rice wrap, Chinese chicken salad, roasted potatoes, veggie soup, and beverages. The food quality was generally good, but the only downside was the lack of indoor seating. We had to sit outside next to the street, which made for a chilly experience on a windy day. It would be preferable if they offered indoor dining space to make the dining experience more comfortable, especially during adverse weather conditions.

Thelma, who took the orders at the entrance, was so sweet and eager to help that I left very happy.🌹

Roasted chicken is a hard business simply because consistency is difficult. Getting moist juicy chicken is an art form. I only get take out, a whole chicken, and have ordered here on so many occasions, multiple times a month. That speaks volumes to the consistency. I don’t even buy chicken anymore to cook myself because the quality here is so good. As a person who loves to cook, the added bonus, having all the chicken bones to create stock is as good as the chicken itself. Their homemade goddess dressing is amazing as are their salads which are perfect compliments. So many great homemade options and consistency keep me coming back.

They need to scan and export their service to all other restaurants. I order online and drive by and pick up my order in about 15 minutes and it’s ready and they take it out to the car. I never get out of the vehicle. And the Chinese chicken salad With a side of chicken pieces couldn’t be better for a light meal. They kind of raise their prices in a sneaky way a little while back by charging extra for pita bread that they used to get with you without charge. Not a big deal, however,. The meal ends up being a bargain. Two of us share the order and always feel that we’ve got way more than our moneys worth.

I always pick up and can wait in my car. The service is pretty quick and friendly, they bring out the food in a timely manner. If it's busy it can get a little crazy with all the other cars waiting for their order.

Overpriced and no indoor seating. If you’re paying $18 for a salad, you should offer comfortable seating inside (not outside) like anywhere else. That was enough for me not to ever come back

Trust me, this place is great! I'm not someone that usually cares to eat a salad but their Chinese chicken salad is amazing! Sometimes I'll swap out the cold chicken for some warm rotisserie chicken instead and it makes the salad even better. Service is always quick and friendly. If you do pick up, they have a drive up lane and the staff come greet you within seconds.

Hello, I visited yesterday and I ordered the rice wrap and cabbage salad as usual. I noticed I could not eat the wrap because the pita bread was literally falling apart. CCC is a staple for a healthy meal. My go-to is their Chinese chicken salad. It's very filling. I like that they sometimes throw in a couple of pieces of their rotisserie chicken as a thank you. It's always a pleasant surprise to get freebies. Also, gotta love their cookies. They are so yummy! I wish there were more restaurants across LA. They are few & far between.

I've passed by California Chicken Café so many times, and finally decided to stop in. They've got locations all over Orange County and LA, and every time I drive by one, it's always packed. This spot was no different. There's no real indoor dining here. You walk right up from the sidewalk, place your order at the front, and either grab a table outside or take it to go. Even at 12 noon, when it was the busiest it could be, they were moving fast. Everyone working knew exactly what they were doing. It felt like watching a well-oiled machine. In the ten minutes I stood there, they probably pushed out at least 50 orders. Super efficient. Now let's talk about this wrap. I ordered the Melrose Wrap with chicken and got it in a wheat tortilla. That tortilla was perfect. Soft, and had just the right amount of chew to hold everything together without falling apart. Inside, the chicken was tender, fresh, and seasoned just right. The avocado was creamy and fresh, not that hard or mushy kind you sometimes get. The white cheddar gave it a nice sharp bite that stood out in the best way. The greens, tomato, and mayo brought it all together, adding freshness and a little tang that worked great with the rest of this loaded wrap! It also came with Italian dressing on the side, which was great to dip the wrap in, but I ended up mixing in a little chipotle dressing and ranch too. Both had good flavor. The chipotle had a little kick without being overpowering, and the ranch was smooth and creamy, exactly what you'd want on the side of something like this. If you've ever driven past one of these places and wondered if it's worth stopping, yes it is! Everything's fresh, the portions are huge, and the operation runs tight. I'd definitely come back and try more of the menu. This one hit just right.

I have worked with the manager Valeria, at the Beverly Grove CCC location several times over the years to cater meals for my office nearby. Valeria has made the process so easy every time, and she is so easy to communicate with. Even when we've ordered large quantities of meals during peak lunch traffic, some of which have modifications for dietary restrictions, Valeria and her team always take the time to make sure that every order is absolutely perfect (complete with individual labels) and on time. On top of this amazing service, our team always raves about the food! For our recent set of orders on Black Friday, we were assisted by both Valeria and Robert, who were both so warm and friendly. They really went above and beyond for us on a busy day, and we so appreciate it. We'll continue to work with this location for the great service and delicious food!

I heard the Caesar wrap was really good and had to try it. I ordered the Caesar wrap. It was so good. The chicken, lettuce and tomato were tossed in the Caesar salad dressing. I really liked the dressing. The pita chips gave the wrap a good crunch. I recommend getting a side of Caesar salad dressing to dip the wrap. Definitely will order this again. I also ordered the house lemonade. It was very refreshing.

I've been eating at California Chicken Cafe long before they shortened their name (Calif), and they only had one location. That's on Melrose in Hollywood. Glad to see the original location is still there. Also glad to see CCC has opened more locations. Never have I had a bad meal. I pretty much have stuck with the rotisserie chicken (all white meat) with different sides. Garden salad. Pasta salad. Mashed potatoes. Roasted potatoes. All delicious. Chicken is always fresh and moist. Portions are always plentiful, which I appreciate. I finally tried something different. The Chinese Chicken Salad. It's a big salad (see pictures) with a generous portion of chicken. Every part of the salad is fresh and flavorful. So good! I also recently got hooked on the Chicken Pasta Salad. I always get a larger size so I can snack on leftovers for a day or two. Again, generous with the chicken portion. Thank you for not skimping on that. The Beverly Grove location is set up where you order outside. It looks like most of the orders are for takeout or delivery. If you want to eat on-site there is outdoor dining only. Staff is friendly and accommodating for a busy establishment. Definitely give them a try. You won't be disappointed. It's so good!

I am absolutely obsessed with the salads here - I literally get the California Chicken Salad with alfalfa sprouts on a weekly basis through a third party delivery orders so I'm sure the Staff knows my name by now! However in mid-April, I was in the area and decided to stop in IRL. Parking is easy with a lot in back and metered street-parking out front. Know that there is no indoor dining - the whole model post-2020 is based on a "to-go" basis where you give your order to the host and pay on the spot then wait for your order. There are a couple of tables outside to eat but there aren't many so be prepared to pick up and leave. I wish there was a dine-in option! Until then, I'll continue my weekly orders - the chicken is the most amazing around!

I've had CCC bookmarked for the past few years and finally had a chance to give them a try. This location only has outdoor seating, but they do allow customers to use the bathroom if needed. They also have a quick "drive-up" for pick up orders, which is pretty neat. Cafe Caesar Salad - A bit different from what I'm used to. The dressing is lighter than what Caesar dressing really is. Not what I expected since I was craving a full on Caesar salad, but not too bad. California Chicken Salad - this is a huge salad! Pita chips were a nice add. The vinaigrette is quite tarty and can get overwhelming. We asked for a small green goddess dressing on the side, which was very light. Rotisserie chicken legs - Wow, do not sleep on their rotisserie chicken! I don't know if I was super hungry or just love rotisserie chicken, but these were juicy and fall off the bone. I'm curious if we could replace the chicken in the salads with rotisserie chicken instead. The staff was super nice, they also gave us extra chicken legs on the house! I'll need to try their wraps next time.

The exceptional customer service was impressive, but the truly standout experience was the incredibly delicious food!

I love Calif Chicken Cafe. Everything is incredibly fresh and always leaves you feeling satisfied. My husband usually orders either the Chinese Chicken Wrap or the Melrose Wrap both are delicious and uniquely flavorful. And the sauces are the best part. At times, they surprise you with free items, which is how I discovered just how juicy and tender their chicken really is. Lately, the California Chicken Salad has become my go-to it's fresh, filling, and so good

I have been coming here for past couple of years when I'm at work ... CCC is my go-to!! The chicken is juicy, nicely seasoned and delicious. Another fave is the Melrose wrap adding sprouts and mustard, salads are huge and fresh. I love the Chinese cabbage slaw, squashed squash and roasted potato's as my sides. Some times they give extra chicken or mini sides with my order... very cool! I love Thelma!! she is such a sweetheart. I like having a good, fun relationship with her when I order or pickup. She's always nice and friendly, so are other members of the staff. I highly recommend this place to all my coworkers as it is healthy fresh food !! PS.. it can get busy and or run out of rotisserie chicken... so make sure you order early... otherwise the other menu items are usually available.

My new favorite place to order lunch from! Everything is so fresh and delicious and pretty large portions with the salads in comparison to other places I have ordered delivery from. I can't choose a favorite salad or wrap because they are all so good! I will say that the green goddess dressing is my favorite dressing and goes well with anything! I never feel guilty when ordering from California Chicken Cafe because every item is made to order, fresh, and healthy. You can't go wrong here.

ROBERT WAS THE MAN! Came to get some salads for friends giving and he hooked it up on a time crunch. Was running around putting in the work. That's gotta be the most dedicated worker I've seen in a long time.

What a disappointment. We were staying at the Elan right across the street and walked here. First, there is no seating, so while the building is painted cool- no ambiance. Food had to be taken to go. Ok- we get back to the room and the chicken was dry, bland and flavorless. The vegetable soup side dish was lackluster. There was nothing redeeming about it. The service was good but that's the only positive thing I can say about my experience here. There will be no need to go back.

Yelp ultimately led us to this salad/chicken/wrap place. Had a late lunch and wait time was 15 mins for our meals to be ready. Overall, it was a delicious rotisserie chicken. Vegetable soup and steamed squash side dish was bomb! Mainly a takeout place, there are tables and chairs situated outside if you decide to eat in. Friendly staff!

This eatery far exceeded my expectations. I ordered the Out West Salad with chicken, avocado, black beans, roasted corn, and side chipotle dressing, along with rotisserie chicken and a side of fruit. Everything was fresh and hearty. I could taste the quality. The salad portion was also huge. Service was swift and my order came nicely presented in a decorated bag. 10/10 start to finish. Will be going any time I'm in the area!

The worst customer service. They're so busy with online orders and pickup that they don't serve customers well. This is the third time I've ordered, and all three times, they don't give me the order I asked for or it's missing something. They waste time. They should have trained people who can provide better customer service. They can mess up with lunch time.

Delicioso, quick, healthy, abundant, many gluten free and vegan options. Fresh rotisserie chicken, veggies, soup, amazing veggie rice, roasted potatoes that just hit the spot, and I love they steamed squash! Their chinese chicken salad is really amazing and plentyfull. It's always easier to order online on their app. Same price and you can do drive up, take out or delivery. Very user friendly and you can add/substitute/remove ingredients easily. You can also order there at the entrance and eat on their outdoor tables. This location doesn't have indoor seating. Always friendly and fast service.

We had an office lunch catered by California Chicken Café. Our supervisor who ordered it was very happy and said that CCC provided a lot of food for the price. They delivered a variety of wraps, in addition to a big bowl of Chinese Chicken Salad, Chicken Pasta Salad, Chocolate Chunk Cookies for dessert, and a variety of house made salad dressings - Chipotle, Ranch, & Asian. Each wrap came with a small container of dressing. I selected the Vegan Crunch Wrap, which was loaded with rice, crunchy Chow Mein noodles, lettuce, cabbage, carrots, avocado, tomatoes, and light smear of vegenaise. It came with Asian dressing. The wrap was so delicious it didn't need the dressing, which was also particularly good. The lavosh was soft and had a nice flavor. I had half a wrap, and it was plenty. The Chocolate Chunk Cookie was also yummy. It was soft and loaded with chunks of chocolate chips. The cookies are baked daily. It tasted homemade and was even better when warmed up. My co-workers enjoyed both salads, especially the chicken pasta salad, which was a big hit. The quality of the food was fresh. Our supervisor said she would order from them again. I would too!

At this point throw the whole chicken away! The roasted potatoes never let me down, and they were great as always! I ordered the chicken "well done", it was an option they offered and it's how I like my chicken. I feel like whoever packed it laughed at the request and gave me the palest, tasteless, wet chicken I've ever gotten! I'm still mad about it!

CCC is my jam!!!! I used to eat here back in like 2010 because it was near my old job. Once I left that job I wasn't eating it too often because it was kind of far from my home. I had no idea they built one near the Beverly center which is pretty close to me and when I drove by today I decided to stop. I remember their chicken and sides being good but I swear it's been improved. The chicken had WAY more flavor than what I remembered. And I love how you get sauces now because they didn't do that before. I got the 1/4 chicken and a side of potatoes ( which I HIGHLY recommend) and rice (which is delicious when u pour the green salsa all over it. Only annoying thing was the indoor eating area was closed for some reason and people were just picking up their food or a couple people were eating outside. There was a few outdoor tables but it was really windy and it was kind of hard to enjoy my meal with all the wind. But the chicken was definitely a 10 out of 10!!

Thelma made our experience 5-stars. My boyfriend accidentally ordered the California chicken salad instead of the Chinese Chicken salad and without hesitation she offered to make it right. The salads were fresh, and without a doubt the best Chinese chicken salad in town. Thank you team and Thelma for a great dine-in experience.

california chicken cafe used to be my favorite spot in LA, which is why this is extra difficult to write -i was a huge fan of the caeser wrap, and could usually get two meals out of it due to how substantial it was. went to order on doordash today and saw they added avocado to it- come to find out it's just a filler so they have an excuse to add less chicken. i foolishly asked for the wrap without avocado, thinking i'd get the same wrap i'm normally given when i order multiple times a month. boy was i wrong- i wasn't given a wrap, i was given what can only be described as a taquito. barely any chicken, way less lettuce, they don't even put dressing on it anymore lol, only on the side. i'm not a huge yelp reviewer but am too shook not to let others know. i spent almost $30 on a taquito and small side of pasta salad. do better, CCC!

I have heard good things about this place from my co worker and decided to go today since my choice was slim today. I happy I went his route because it did not disappoint. The ordering process was simple and picking it up was smooth, no wait just pulled to the curb and nice gentleman handed me my order after verifying who I was. My salad was so yummy and the chicken was moist warm and ready to be eaten. I took the picture after I ate of course lol. I could t wait.

One of my fav places to eat for lunch and dinner! I love their salads, wraps and pastas!! Of course my favorite is their chicken caesar salad and just check out their portion size!! Their chicken is delicious! Recently I noticed an item (two pieces of chicken) in my bag that I did not purchase and the tag said "eats on us". Now that's awesome! Surprising customers with kind deeds such as this one will always be admired! I'm so lucky that my department at Cedars-Sinai gets this catered for us at least once a month! They are currently offering take out! Ordering ahead is what I usually do! CCC will always have my business!

First time at this location was super positively impressed with the quality of the food and the service. The food was very flavorful. Very neatly prepared would totally return and Thelma honestly is the reason why I'm returning her customer service wowed me. I'm thankful that this restaurant has someone like her Because it is a rarity, especially in Los Angeles.

I went to CCC with my family today and Thelma went above and beyond to accommodate us. My daughter is allergic to pineapple so Thelma brought her some strawberries to make up for the pineapples in the fruit cup we purchased with our meal. She was sweet and hospitable. I already love this food chain but today I found a whole new reason to love CALIFORNIA CHICKEN CAFE. Turns out that, apparently, for no reason at all, they give you free food every so often. Initially I thought what they gave me (a container with small thigh pieces and a sandwich) was just some unclaimed food they had left over but then I noticed that each piece had a little decal attached that let me know that this was some sort of special gift. For whatever reason and whatever the parameters for being given this, I totally appreciate the fact that this is something they do at all. I'm a big fan of their chicken, their salads and pretty much all their sides...now they got surprises ??? I'm REALLY a fan.

I'm honestly obsessed with CCC and it's probably one of my favorite lunch options in Los Angeles and am so grateful we have a healthy & quick spot like this around LA. I've ordered from their melrose, Beverly and Westwood location and the quality is consistent. I routinely get the melrose wrap and it is SO good and their Italian dressing it's paired with is the best... I wish I could purchase it by the bottle. The chicken is always tender and not dry like some white chicken meat can be. The avocado is always fresh and I'm obsessed with the pita they use. It's thin but structured and makes for the perfect wrap. Their pasta salad with chicken is also realllly good. I don't have often a huge appetite for lunch so I'll usually eat half for lunch & half for dinner and I feel really good with that. Portions are really just right. The service is always kind but just note this isn't a place you're going to go and dine in. It's pretty much strictly pick-up or delivery only since Covid, but that works for me. I know at some locations they'll even bring it to your car. If you're in LA and want a satisfying but healthy lunch I highly recommend California chicken cafe. Always 10/10 for me.

I was SHOOK by how much I enjoyed my lunch here. A coworker recommended this place to me, and I totally understand the hype. This was THE BEST rotisserie chicken I have ever had!!! For myself, I got a juicy quarter chicken thigh with broccoli pasta salad and a lemonade to go. Everything was well made and I definitely would eat this often if I lived nearby. Not only was it delicious, the total came out to be less than $13.00 for three items! Insanely affordable. PRO TIP: Dip your rotisserie chicken in some ranch dressing... it is UNEXPECTEDLY good and adds more flavors to that juicy chicken!

Just called, asking for the ingredients for a green salsa they sent along with their lovely chicken. The salsa itself was delicious but made me so bloated, so I called in and (Alexis) said to look into their website to find out, cause he didn't know. I already spent my time calling in for a food intolerance caused by this green salsa, but this employee couldn't take his time to ask their kitchen what those ingredients were. Their food is so yummy, and I guess their customer service should match those quality standards.

This location has consistently been very good in terms of food quality and service. The only challenge is parking around it as the side street is quite busy and Beverly is always congested. If you can find parking or pick it up, it's pretty good deal. Some wishes... I wish their mashed potatoes had more gravy, the amount they give you with it is quite small. I wish there was a way that they could offer nuggets or some type of tender that is not fried.

I love California Chicken Cafe and (I'm aging myself here) have been a customer for decades so this review is long overdue. This location on Beverly is my favorite! The food is always on point - fresh, delicious, and so reliable. They manage to get my slightly-insane amount of wrap modifications right every single time and I order here at least several times per month. The chicken, veggie wrap, Melrose wrap, roasted potatoes, mashed potatoes, broccoli pasta salad, and cookies are all in my usual rotation and are so good. Honestly I've never had anything I disliked from there though. The customer service is amazing! That sounds weird for fast casual spot but the staff is so friendly and hard-working, it's remarkable. Even in the pouring rain, they're cheerful, quick and don't miss a beat. They must be doing something right in hiring because the quality of service is right up there and even rivals a good amount of full service restaurants. One time when I was pregnant, I made a weird modification on my order due to randomly having an aversion to lettuce and the staff called me to confirm my order right after I placed it just to make sure they got it right - I thought that was so impressive! Lastly, the drive-up/pickup and ordering process is so easy - it makes the decision to order from here on the way home from work a no-brainer. I love not having to get out of my car and being able to grab my order in a manner of minutes. The app is super user-friendly and they're almost always always on time. I know this sounds like a love letter to CCC and maybe it is but I mean every word. I LOVE this place so much. Please never change CCC!

I had a chicken wrap. Good size. Tasted great too. But two stars off for closing the dining room and never opening it up after Covid. This is now basically a take out place.

Came in last minute right before closing, and Thelma was absolutely amazing. She was still so charismatic, sweet, and professional--didn't make me feel rushed at all and even assured me it was no problem. Her energy was warm and positive, even at the end of a long shift. I've always loved this spot, and experiences like this keep me coming back. Shoutout to Thelma for the great service! PS: I love the Choco Chocolate Chip Cookies here--they're my favorite. And the Melrose Wrap is delicious!

Food is always fresh and quick but honestly one of the best parts of the experience at CCC are the people that work there especially Nathaniel! I go to this location a lot and he is always there with a smile on his face and even when it's super busy he knows just how to deal with customers quickly, efficiently, and always with kindness. I'm always so glad to see him when I go because I know I'll be taken care of.
